The Transcript

A voice is named only when we can verify it — by voiceprint, an @handle present in the room, or the Space’s own title. Anyone we can’t confirm stays “Speaker,” on purpose.

Ian MalcolmI'm going to guess that that is The Who, but I might be wrong on that one.

Speaker 1No, you're right, Ian. Good job.

Ian MalcolmLet's go. So, OK, so The Who. Now, what would be the name of that song, though, Joanne? That's the million dollar question.

@joann_marieThat is the million dollar question. Would you like to have a couple of answers and then you can choose one?

Ian MalcolmWell, let's see. So we might need to because I don't think I'm going to be able to pull this one out of the rabbit hat. Now, the question becomes, so where are we in our pursuit to 10? What are we thinking? What?

Ian MalcolmWell, I got to get 10 right as part of this adventure. Oh, I don't know.

@joann_marieI haven't counted them. I'm just like very excited to play the songs in the beginning, so I haven't counted them.

Ian MalcolmSo, Joe, so I am really excited because we have an incredible guest of honor here who I don't know if Joe is familiar with our wonderful game of Name That Tune, where essentially, Joe, we try to ensure that we either get the artist or the song. Now, I got the who. That is the Who that it is. Mr. Joe, I say this by any chance, do you know the name of that tune by any chance?

Speaker 2I only know one title of one song by the Who, and I don't even know if that's the song.

@joahsantosSo if I guess it, it's just pure luck. But the Pinball Wizard is the only Who song I know. No, that is not right.

Speaker 3Joanne, you didn't even kind of like... Well, that's a good guess, but... Come on, how are you going to do that?

@joann_marieI'm a little bit straightforward. No, okay.

Ian MalcolmWell, I really... So, okay. How about, by any chance, Joanne, I'm guessing... that that song is not from the album Quadrophenia, which is absolutely spectacular.

@joann_marieIs that correct? I don't know which album it is. I'm not a Who expert.

Ian MalcolmOkay, well then who are you, Joanne? And who is that tune? So what would be the name of, we at least, oh, Prashant might know. Prashant, can you name that tune?

@tibetanfightingYeah, maybe not exactly, but it's like, Don't Be Fooled Again or Can't Be Fooled Again.

@joann_marieWould you like to lock this answer, Ian?

Ian MalcolmOh, that's it. So, Joe, if you remember... Won't get fooled again. We've got the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Regis Philbin music. You know what?

Speaker 2You phoned in a friend two times. I thought you only have to use it once.

@joann_marieWe cheat. We cheat in this game, Joe. I've cheated multiple times. So this is what happens.

Ian MalcolmNow, the the funny part about this, though, what I will say on this real quick, it's a fun little interlude for anybody not familiar. The first individual that got all the way to the million dollar question and who wants to be a millionaire. Do you know that he was so good that he saved his phone a friend till the very end?

Ian MalcolmAnd on the very last question, he called his father, if I'm not mistaken, and he said, I don't need any help. I just wanted to call to tell you I'm about to win a million dollars. It was so epic. Which was so amazing.

@joann_marieEpic. Yes, I remember that.

Ian MalcolmAbsolutely epic. And so, yes, so as Joanne said, we might, look, I got the artist, so at least we'll give the point. But Joanne, so what did, I'm going to lock it in. We're going to trust, I'm going to call him Papa Prashant here, who I think would have been around during the heyday of that music. Did he? Successfully named this year.

Speaker 3It is! Good job! You're a millionaire!

Ian MalcolmLet's go, Prashant! Well, and a super, incredibly famous band. Prashant, tell us what The Who meant to you.

@tibetanfightingWell, they meant truth in another previous very dark time, and they meant putting that truth into music which can have a powerful effect on you. So that's kind of a brief of what they meant to me.

Ian MalcolmWell, I love that. And the truth is incredibly powerful. It's what we are seeking. And it's actually in an interesting way. It's what we're going to examine in this space with one of the foremost individuals. And I feel like some people that might have seen the way that I advertised this space for the post might be thinking that I was speaking hyperbolically, but I'm certainly not.

Ian MalcolmAnd I say that because The man that we're about to be able to be educated from and to hear his insights on, not only one of the absolute experts and kind of foremost thought leaders when it comes to this idea of digital advertising and digital marketing and how do you reach the masses with a pervasive message, also has had that very suggested title, let's say, be stoned upon him.

Ian Malcolmby the likes of Ted Talk and a whole bunch of other organizations that obviously carry an immense amount of accommodations and acclamations. So I feel like it's safe to say that that we are going to hear from one of the absolute best and brightest when it comes to this subject. And it's going to be very curious because what we're going to be able to do is to both understand what is it that Fortune 500 companies are aspiring to in terms of being able to influence the markets and the minds of their customers

Ian Malcolmand then also be able to essentially take those ideas and to think through well how might those same technologies be utilized perhaps by governments or other entities let's just loosely call them that might have an interest in changing the way that you see the world right because all those technologies exist and if they're being utilized by the likes of Coca-Cola or by Dove which I think is a Johnson & Johnson company but maybe I'm wrong on that right that if those companies are able to do that certainly

Ian MalcolmThe White House and other massive entities that would be able because of the Smith-Munt Act, which allowed the federal government to essentially propagandize its citizenry here in the United States. Well, it's pretty safe to say that Donald Trump or other regimes are doing the exact same thing because again, they're legally allowed to do that and they essentially have an unlimited budget, right?

Ian MalcolmSo what does it mean when those groups, when those powers, when those offices have that ability? and perhaps when we know because they've told us that there's almost a billion dollar budget that has been signed off on by the folks over in Tel Aviv to essentially try to influence how you see the world. Right. And it's because of truth tellers like those that are in this space.

Ian MalcolmAnd I will point directly to Mr. Joe when I say that that are pushing back against this regime, that we are essentially right. We are the light in the darkness. in a sea of lies that are pushed out by immense budgets and deep pockets. And so I'm very, very honored. I'm humbled. We had this space. I think Joanne, correct me if I'm wrong.

Ian MalcolmI think we had to plan this almost two or three months in advance to be able to get time with Joah. And so I just want to thank him first and foremost. I want to thank all of you for being here and being part of this conversation and to thank all of us that are going to take the things that we learned from him and to incorporate it into our worldview.

Ian MalcolmRight? So this idea of propaganda, let's figure out how to be the torchbearers of truth that pierce through essentially the darkness of all of those lies. And in a sense that we become the who that are going to make the difference on tomorrow because of like what Prashant was saying, this idea that music can convey the truth.

Ian MalcolmWell, so too can we. So I'm really excited for this. I couldn't be more, I guess, kind of reverent to an individual than Mr. Joe Santos, who again, not only an expert in this field, But also an individual, I've called this out many times, Joe, that I used to argue about these subjects when it comes to, let's say, control and power and all these things.

Ian MalcolmSo many people are locked in their worldview and they're never willing to consider alternative views or adjust or change or pivot, right? And you, if nothing else, Joe, have been one of the absolute superstars that has been able to look at the board and say, you know, I didn't see that before. I'm going to change this.

Ian MalcolmAnd I, like you, have learned a lot from yourself. and have similarly adapted all of that into my worldview. And so this idea of continuously trying to understand the world, there's nobody better to do that with. And so with that being said, perhaps Joanne, is there anything else that I might be leaving off the table? And then if not, we can turn things over to our esteemed guest speaker here.

Ian Malcolmfor a little bit of an introduction for anybody that might not be familiar with it.

@joann_marieYes, thank you so much for hosting, Ian and Joa. I'm very excited for this. Yeah, we spent like two months talking about this and I went on a space and I was like, Joa, let's do it. I'll just schedule you right now. So I'm really happy that you said yes, Joa. So thank you. And guys, please repost this space. And if you guys go to it, I will also repost it and follow Ian, Joa, Dan Bilzerian for Congress, Mandy, everybody here.

@joann_marieAnd also, Thank, allegedly thank who is down in the listeners who has done amazing work for Ian in putting all of his work in Rumble, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, IanMalcolm84.com and on Malcolm Spaces. So thank you so much. Thank you. You're an absolute superstar. And yeah, no, I'm very happy to be here. So thank you.

Ian MalcolmAbsolutely. And one other final little thing before we call out and turn the microphone over again to our esteemed guest of honor. I also want to call out and I just re-shared it. I'm going to put it up into the purple pill and we're going to end up after we hear from our guest speaker, we're going to end up playing some of the audio for everybody on the latest in the adventures.

Ian Malcolmof Rabbi Jeff and Grok. Episode three has just dropped thanks to the Dan Bilzerian for President account who has been doing unbelievable work. And I'm going to call this out because he was in us with the space or in these rooms, I should say, with the one and only Where Forbidden. and because he's an incredibly creative individual, he said, you know what?

Ian MalcolmI listened to some of that. I'm going to try and make my own video content as well. Kind of inspired by the work that where forbidden has been doing and videos are hysterically funny. So I just shared that up into the nest. I would love it if everybody could give a little bit of attention. And like I said, we will play that audio in a little bit after we hear from our guest speaker, because we have to basically fight the propaganda war in a sense with propaganda.

Ian MalcolmWe are being pushed these dishonest messages left, right, and center. And if we're going to fight that, we have to both be able to do that with, let's say, honest, uncomfortable truth and dialogue, like what we're going to do here in this space, but also at times, like where Forbidden is done, with humor, with comedy. and with very, very viral videos.

Ian MalcolmAnd I think Dan Bilzerian for President now, I should say, has done unbelievable work in that regard. So like I said, we'll get to that audio in a little bit. That video is up into the nest if anybody wants to give any additional love to that. And without further ado, the one, the only, Mr. Joe Santos, such a pleasure to have you here, my friend.

@joahsantosYeah, thank you, Ian and Joanne. What an incredible intro. Let's see if I can... Hold up to it. But a lot of guys here have seen me on Spaces and don't know my history. So I'll just really shortly give you background. Worked in finance. You know, always wanted to, was always very money driven, wanted success. Did an internship at a marketing firm.

@joahsantosAbsolutely loved it. But no one was driving a Ferrari. So I went to go work on Wall Street. On Wall Street, absolutely hated it. Felt like I was robbing from old ladies to give to rich men. And I was like, this is not for me. It was really, really hard for a finance guy to get into marketing. Luckily enough, if you guys remember, Ross Perot was running for president at the time, the third party, right?

@joahsantosRoss Perot owned the company called EDS at the time. It was like a competitor of IBM. And he ran a competition for a Super Bowl ad. Anyone could submit ideas and the best idea would get run during the Super Bowl. Well, I submitted an idea and I won. I did something called the running of the squirrels, right? So picture the running of the bulls and it was an ad that played during the Super Bowl.

@joahsantosPeople are lining up like the bulls are about to be released. But then when the bulls get released, they're actually a bunch of squirrels. And the squirrels just start running over people, biting their ears, biting their arms. They're falling down. And the copy over top of it just basically says, you know, it's not the big ones you need to look out for.

@joahsantosYou can move out of the way. It's the little guys that come out of nowhere and attack you from behind and all this other stuff. And EDS is for the little guys. Not the guys that have room for an entire server, right? And that was against IBM. And at the time, there were a lot of startups, right? And they couldn't afford the $150,000 IBM server.

@joahsantosSo that was the ad. And that kind of got me into going almost wherever I wanted to go. So I picked the most creative agency at the time, which was Crispin and Magutsky. Wasn't happy because I wasn't making enough money. and Procter and Gamble basically came and said, hey, what you guys used to do doesn't work anymore and no one in the industry understands anymore.

@joahsantosAnd we're going to keep switching agency agencies every year until someone figures it out. All right. And in my head, I was like, OK, catching like if I can figure out these guys problem, like whatever marketing used to do doesn't work now. Why? All right. So. I spoke to a person who was running the neuroscience department at Princeton called Mark Pinsk.

@joahsantosMark Pinsk kind of introduced me to other people at MIT and University of Osaka. And I started paying with the money I made from Wall Street, started paying for a research project to figure out how people think. And what broke was the fact that prior to around the year 2000,

@joahsantosUnder 50% of the people... Penetration of the internet is kind of what broke it, by the way. Once the penetration of the internet got over 50%, the old rule of if a cereal is advertised on the radio versus cereal advertised on TV, most people would buy the one that's on TV. And it didn't even matter what the commercial was.

@joahsantosIt was just the fact it was on TV, people registered as... This brand is being more successful. It has more money because it's advertising on TV, so it has to be better. So the creativity didn't even actually matter that much. It was simply wherever it was seen. And because of the internet and how much time people spend on the internet, that kind of broke.

@joahsantosThat's the whole backstory of where I got to. During that study that I did, it was during three years Unilever, who is the one that owns Dove, not Johnson & Johnson, Ian, they came to me and said, look, you have a head start on something we're about to start. What if we fund you, but you have to work for us for the next 10 years once you're finished and you can't release that information and everything else?

@joahsantosAnd I agreed because I didn't have the $3 million they were about to pay for this research project. And what we did during that research project, I really got into Edward Bernays as one of the case studies and Nike as another case study. And people who don't know Edward Bernays, he is the person who wrote the book called Propaganda.

@joahsantosHe is the nephew of Sigmund Freud. He is the person that got women to smoke. He is the one that got... What's the president's name elected? Cleaver? Clever? Cleveland? Clever Cleveland. Yeah, Cleveland. He got Cleveland elected. He's the one that changed Americans' breakfast from orange juice and toast to bacon and eggs.

@joahsantosHe's done a lot, right? Studied him a lot. Studied what Nike did because Nike was in third place and then within three years they became first place. Thank you so much for joining us.

@joahsantosBut the reality is we all give exactly the same answer. First, we would buy cars, homes, and travel. Very functional type things. This fulfills our dopamine. You have a need, you fulfill that need, it fills your dopamine, and that's very functional. Secondly, you invest so your family never needs to work again or take care of your family, whatever it may be.

@joahsantosThat's very emotional. that fulfills your serotonin. When you're a good leader, a good shepherd, let's say, you get serotonin in return, right? And thirdly is eventually you go and help out some cause, right? And that gives you oxytocin. That's very much a social benefit. And that makes you feel like you're part of a good society.

@joahsantosAnd those are the three things that actually make us happy. When you have an equal level of serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin. That's when you're happy, right? And there's something that's actually very, it's weird. The last one, which is the social, is kind of like your vision. How do you look to the world? What are your goals for society?

@joahsantosThings of that nature. There's a reason why you have very young people, very successful young people, people like Amy Winehouse and A guy from Nirvana, Kurt Cobain. Why they all die young, right? There's a really common story with these people. They say, I didn't expect to be this successful. Amy Winehouse said it all the time.

@joahsantosKurt Cobain said it all the time. And if you look, almost all of them say it all the time. Their vision of themselves, they've already reached such a maximum level that They can't get the oxytocin they need. And what depression looks like, serious depression, is very high serotonin, very high dopamine, but no oxytocin.

@joahsantosAnd that makes you seriously depressed. So the vision of who you are in the world disappears because you've gone further than you can and you have no dream higher than that. And you become depressed, really depressed. That should just kind of give you a backstory. And the funny thing is, is almost everything you purchase, every decision you make, and there's a lot of decisions we don't make, and I'll explain that in a minute.

@joahsantosEvery decision we make is typically one of these three things, functional, emotional, or social, right? And I'll use the, let's say, I'll use the Dove. Is Dove probably the best? No, let me use Starbucks.

@joahsantosFor example, Starbucks was just a very normal cafe, right? There's literally probably the industry with the most competing brands in the entire world because you have a coffee shop on every corner in many countries in the world and they're all competing. Why did Starbucks become this like breakout, a complete breakout brand or company?

@joahsantosHoward Schultz, who's the CEO, went to Italy. Not a CEO. He had one coffee shop in Seattle. I don't know if you would consider that a CEO. He was just a business owner. He went to one coffee shop in Italy. He was sitting inside the coffee shop and he realized that no one was there for the coffee. Everyone was just there to talk with each other.

@joahsantosTalk about soccer, complain about their wife, whatever it may be. They were just there to talk. and that's when he went back and he said okay we're not selling coffee like we're selling coffee but that's not our big thing our big thing is we're selling a way for people to communicate with each other right so when they did that their functional became the third let's call it the community's living room okay they opened up the coffee shop they put huge tables they were the first ones to offer free wi-fi out of any business in America

@joahsantosYou could sit there for eight hours and order just one coffee and that wasn't a problem. They invited people to, hey, come here, make this your meeting spot to meet with people if you're on the road. A lot of salespeople used Starbucks in the beginning. If you go to almost any Starbucks around the world on the weekend, it's filled with students meeting up with other students to work on projects.

@joahsantosIt became the community's living room. How did they do that? That was their function. How did they do that emotionally? Emotionally, in America, not in every country, but especially in America, very few people actually know their neighbors' names. So people want connection with their community. Why do they scream out your name?

@joahsantosBecause most of you know your neighbor's face, but you forget that he's named Dan. So when they scream out, Dan, here's your coffee, and you know that guy's face, now you know his name. It's a lot easier to talk to him. That was the strategy behind it. And socially, it was very much creating a world of warmth and belonging, whereas America at the time was very much every man for himself, like ultimate capitalist, you know, the strong survive type thing, right?

@joahsantosAnd there's a group of people that don't believe in the strong survive. They believe in strong community. So that was the whole thing was, you know, we are the third living room for the community. We make it easy to make connections and we believe in a place of, in a world of worth and belonging, right? That was their entire strategy.

@joahsantosThose were the three things. And almost everyone that went to Starbucks at the time, you might say you're going there for the coffee, but that might be true today. But that's not what created the brand. What created the brand was it was a meeting place.

@joahsantosAnd this was true for Nike. I can go down Nike's route. I can go down multiple brand routes. When it came to Dove, it was the same. Dove was already the number one soap in the entire world. And we said, okay, I was very nervous about doing Dove. I'm like, what the hell can I do that's sexy for a soap bar? and that's when we you know went and did our process and said okay basically women who have children in the last five years when they look in the mirror they don't feel as good about themselves as they used to right so our soap bar has more moisture than any bar in the world although there were five other bar soaps with the same amount of moisturizer and every bar soap has moisturizer in it so

@joahsantosThe guy from Dove called me crazy. He's like, that's not a unique selling proposition. And when I told him that I want to say women are already beautiful, he goes, we sell a bar of soap telling women they'll be beautiful if they use our soap. You're telling them they're already beautiful. Why do they need our soap? So funny story.

@joahsantosBut basically we said, okay, you're already beautiful, right? We're here to protect your skin so that you feel good in the skin you're in. Right. And that was the story that became the campaign. It was titled The Campaign of the Century by Abage and Cannes Lions. And we did multiple, multiple renditions of that. Like we did one where I think most people here probably saw where it was the photograph of a girl.

@joahsantosAnd then we stretched out her neck. We made her eyes bigger. We made her cheeks fuller. We gave her more hair. and then we posted it up and then we put No Wonder Women Don't Feel Good.

@joann_marieThat was you, John.

@joahsantosYeah, that was me.

@joann_marieThat's crazy, okay.

@joahsantosYeah, and then we did another one where it's like a little girl, she's walking across the street, she stops and then we just flood the screen with every ad she sees from the age of seven to nine about going on diets, using filler. like all these different things and were like talk to your daughter before the industry does.

@joahsantosThat was another one. So we did multiple of these and within two years doubled their revenue. So I felt good to be honest with you, Michael. I was like, we're creating good causes

@joahsantosThings that are good in the world, and there's nothing wrong with doing something good in the world for profit. What I did during those next 10 years only worked for Unilever, and I taught a course in a university that was a master's in basically the study of error Bernays. From there, then right afterwards, I did Airbnb.

@joahsantosAirbnb was tied was like in last place of any hotel for almost 10 years and then I came in and basically almost did the same thing and just a really short description everyone sells like oh look how nice our hotel is look how nice our beds are look how nice you know our lobby is look at all the amenities you have and we're like I was like you have to do the exact opposite you have to instead of selling leaning back on vacation we need to sell leaning in

@joahsantosto becoming part of the community.

@joahsantosThe one key secret to all this is who are you speaking to? Because who you speak to is what matters the most. And most of our decisions are not made ourselves. We don't actually consume enough calories in a day to make every decision ourselves. So probably 10 years ago, all of you have had a pair of Stan Smith's or all white sneakers in your closet somewhere, right?

@joahsantosYou Ian, you Joanne, probably even Prashant, we all had all white sneakers, right? Prashant, did you have all white sneakers? Just put a thumbs up or thumbs down. Practically everyone in the world did because that was on trend. But that trend started by a group of young girls in California that started wearing all white sneakers with their dresses.

@joahsantosThey were considered fashionistas. Then Kendall Jenner decided to do it. Then that spread. And because everyone trusts an expert, we all decided white sneakers looks cool. And we started all wearing white sneakers. And this happens with multiple things. All of you that have driven home from work and thought, wow, I don't even remember driving home.

@joahsantosIt's because you got behind a car You didn't even trust. You're like, this guy doesn't want to crash. You get behind the car. Your subconscious starts working on other things you need to work on. The only time you really activate your brain is when you need to turn off and actually do some driving because you followed that guy's decisions on which way to go and you worked on other things.

@joahsantosAnd this is what we do all the time. I'm sure, Joanne, you have someone, if you need to buy a new TV for your house, You probably have a friend you'd call and you'd probably follow his advice. This is how society works. So at the TED Talk stage, which you mentioned earlier, I had said Trump at the time was I think 22% in the polls.

@joahsantosAnd I said, I bet my marketing career, although I didn't like Trump at the time, I bet my marketing career that even though he's last place in the polls, Donald Trump is going to win this election. And the reason I said that is because Donald Trump did what Edward Bernays did. He did what Goebbels did. He did what Mussolini did.

@joahsantosHe did what Israel did. And he did it for himself. And it was very clear. He targeted minors and he targeted vets. He targeted the forgotten Americans. And then he did exactly what I told you about the three things, the functional benefit, the emotional benefit, the social benefit, right? He said he was going to reopen mining towns, functional.

@joahsantosHe's going to take care of these communities, emotional. And he's going to make America great again, the social. And when you get miners and vets to believe in a message, they will get behind this person. And because a lot of us, as we know, this isn't true on X. On X, people are extraordinarily knowledgeable about politics, or at least way more than the average person.

@joahsantosBut the amount of influence that minors and vets can have on American psyche is huge, right? So those people influenced the decision of many Americans to vote on Trump. And if I asked many people who voted for Trump, they'd be like, no, I did my own research. I looked, da-da-da-da-da. Most of the time, that's not true.

@joahsantosJust like you didn't go and research what are the most fashionable sneakers to wear, so I'm going to buy all white sneakers, although you think you might have maybe searched an e-com site and be like, I like these white sneakers, but why white sneakers at all? It's because you were following the advice of other people without even realizing you're following the advice of other people.

@joahsantosSo being the right base, identifying the right base and figuring out What is the biggest pain point they have so that you can give them an emotional message or emotional benefit? You can manipulate almost anyone, whether that's for the good or whether that's for the bad. I'll give you one propaganda campaign that was good.

@joahsantosI love this story. I think it's an amazing story, which is what's called the candy bomber.

@joahsantosWhen the Allies went into Germany, People in Berlin were not taking the rations because they did not trust the Americans. One pilot decided to meet up with these kids at an airport and gave them chewing gum. He told them, hey, I'm going to drop candy for you. I will wiggle my wings and you'll know that it's me and I'll drop the rations of candy.

@joahsantosHe did that, right? What winded up happening is the kids would come running when she would come and wiggle her wings and drop these boxes to the point where these kids influenced the parents to then accept the other rations as well. So again, that was functional at a very specific target and those kids influenced everyone else.

@joahsantosThat's a really good one. A really bad one I don't feel like gets talked about enough is Pearl Harbor.

@joahsantosWhat happened with Pearl Harbor is basically almost a year and a half of Americans getting propagandized that the Japs were coming to steal and rape our wives, which don't know how they would do that. It would be kind of impossible, but they convinced Americans that that's what they were going to do. They then blockaded Japan where 78% of the resources were blocked, including food, which then caused Japan to attack the closest naval base, which was Hawaii.

@joahsantosFor us then to drop nukes on what we convinced the American people were military towns with no civilians. They literally said that there were zero civilians in these two cities. And why did Americans agree with it? Because they had been propagandized for a year and a half. And then there was an event that amplified that emotion where they would justify

@joahsantosWhat could be seen as genocide, right? And this is why I get so, you know, a lot of times they get called anti-Semite and other times they get called Basad because I don't think Americans were genocidal, although there was many radical Americans. I don't think all Israelis support genocide, although there's many radical Israelis.

@joahsantosI do think there's a lot of victims of propaganda, right?

@joahsantosAnd those are two examples that I think kind of show, you know, propaganda sometimes could be good and sometimes propaganda can be bad. But typically, you know, most of the time when we talk about propaganda, it's for the bad, right? And we can go through some examples in history. I think there's one that's very recent that people don't even realize happened.

@joahsantosI think we're going through one now that I'm just seeing up as of the last four or five weeks, which is if you're pro-Palestinian, you're not pro-American, you're Palestine first because the Republicans think that they're going to lose the election. So they've started with this whole thing, trying to make the pro-Palestinians look radical when in all reality, pro-Palestinians aren't asking for anything.

@joahsantosThey're asking to stop funding things. which is the most pro-American thing you can be. But apparently funding Israel is more pro-American. So if you really ask questions, they don't make sense when it's propaganda most of the times. But we can go through some of those if anyone has any questions and hopefully I did a good job of explaining kind of how it works.

Ian MalcolmJoe, that was absolutely exceptional. And no, you absolutely did. And I guess one of the things that I would just ask first and foremost, because what an interesting parallel, this idea of comparing World War Two and of course, the dropping of the nuclear bombs on Japan, which that, you know, I don't know if I've ever actually heard somebody suggest that that was genocide, which is a really appropriate term, actually.

Ian MalcolmAnd of course, one of those two cities that

Ian MalcolmGiven my frame, I don't think I would accept that suggestion anymore. But nonetheless, I'm kind of curious because drawing the parallel from today to World War II, could you give kind of a sense on what do you think the average mind, and this is a kind of abstract question, but I'd be really curious for your thoughts on it.

Ian MalcolmThe average mind of the average citizen, if you think post-World War II and the decade or two that followed compared to today, and how... for President, Hussain Hoz Shafiei.

Ian MalcolmHow vastly different do you think it would have been 60, 70, 80 years ago in terms of the amount of information people received and the amount of mindshare that was perhaps their own versus that that was given to them via propaganda, either through commercial or political apparatuses?

@joahsantosYeah, I mean, there's something curious, which is in the, let's say, World War II era, people would pick a... Pick an area of interest and they would go deep. Because they weren't flooded with information, they would go read a book or listen to radio programs and things of that nature, and they would go very deep. Today, I'll give you an example that I think you'd agree with right away, which is you speak to Gen Zers today, and I'm shocked how many things they know about investing and

@joahsantosfor the Future, and so many different subjects. But they're very surface level. If you go deep with them, they don't know. But they know a lot of different subjects, but not very deeply. And I think that's what's changed so much is because there's so much more information, they know a lot of different subjects, just not very deep.

@joahsantosWhereas in the old times, they didn't know a lot of subjects, but what they did know, they knew deeply. And I think that's what's changed a lot.

Ian MalcolmNo, and I'd be curious because does that not perfectly prime kind of the citizenry or the masses, right? If you're the jack of all trades, the master of none, it's probably pretty easy to fool you on some of those subjects. And do you think that that then creates a larger general public that might be a little bit more accepting of the subtle nudging along the way on those subjects that perhaps they...

Ian MalcolmThank you so much for having me.

@joahsantosfor President, Hussain Hoz Shafie

@joahsantosSo to a lot of people, right, Italy is, you know, very much like the male, almost gigolo, like macho man type persona. You're thinking the Fonz? Yeah, kind of the Fonz, or even like those Italian, like Italians with their shirt open, model-like, and, you know, they don't realize that Italy didn't have a brand until Ferrari came around.

@joahsantosItaly wasn't that until Ferrari. Just like America, after World War II, one of the big breakouts was Coca-Cola, because American soldiers got sent with Coke because water would go bad, and Coca-Cola didn't. Coke expanded like crazy. When you think of 1950s America, make a picture in your head, it looks like a Coca-Cola ad.

@joahsantosAnd that's what America kind of became for the rest of the world. This wonderful world of believing and happiness where anything could happen, which is the Coca-Cola brand. That's what Coca-Cola was. That was their whole marketing message back then. Still kind of is today, to be honest. Brands influence the countries they come from more than the countries influence the brand itself.

@joahsantosSo we are constantly propagandized. But that's not weaponized propaganda. Right? That's just association that happens. The weaponized propaganda today is on a scale that you wouldn't even believe. And I gave an example the other day with Joanne that I think surprised a lot of people. Is a lot of people, a lot of women, I think here, probably filled out one of those internet things where it says, which Disney princess are you?

@joahsantosSo then you go and fill in like eight, nine questions and then it goes, oh, you're Ariel. And then you go and share it on Facebook and go, look, I'm Ariel. You're giving away cycle analysis about you in order for you to be propagandized, right? This is what Cambridge Analytica did, right? And then it goes further. Facebook was way worse than almost anything else because Facebook had groups.

@joahsantosAnd those groups could tie you to other people. And the similarity of the people that followed certain groups could actually identify. I mean, you literally, at one point, Facebook could figure out your IQ more or less based on what groups you were following. There was something, I think it was called the Orange Cafe. And it was like the highest IQ group.

@joahsantosAnd why was it? Because it was people from Harvard that initially started following it because it was a cafe near Harvard. And because they're the ones who followed it, they kind of spread through people that they were friends with and things like that. And that's how they're able to be like, okay, I have a psychological profile of Joanne because she's Ariel.

@joahsantosAnd because she's Ariel, she fills in these psychodemographics. The other group she probably has an interest in. If there's two or three correlating groups that other people she's friends with follow, they're going to be the same type of person. So here's the people that we can go at with this message that is a pain point to them.

@joahsantosAnd because it's a pain point to them, they're going to pay attention. And pain points are...

@joahsantosThere's something called the RAS, the reticulate activating system in your brain. It's what wakes you up. If you don't have an alarm, it'll wake you up in the morning. If you're in an airport and you hear the loudspeaker, but you don't understand the word they're saying, but all of a sudden they say your name, you hear it right away.

@joahsantosOr if you just happen to buy a red Jeep, you see other red Jeeps. Or if you're pregnant, all you do is see pregnant people. That's your RAS. These are the things that are relevant to me or the pain points that I'm constantly trying to solve. Make sure you call out my attention to these things. That is what your RAS is.

@joahsantosIt is your alert system. And you can only have at maximum nine of those. And the people who have nine are people who journal. That's why when you hear self-help books that are like journal, you should journal what your objectives are. Because typically people only have four. People who journal can get all the way up to nine, right?

@joahsantosAnd that's why journaling is actually effective. But these things, if I can identify what your pain point is because it's in your rest and I'm giving you a solution, you're going to pay attention and you're much more easily manipulated. And it doesn't matter if you're a really smart person or a really dumb person. It is effective on everyone.

@joahsantosEven me, who's basically studied propaganda his whole life, I get affected by it, right? And it's funny, my girlfriend calls me out on it. She's like, you're buying it because of the marketing. I'm like, yeah, you're right. I'm like, I don't want to buy it. It happens to everyone, right? It's very hard to get around it.

@joahsantosBut when it comes to political stuff, or for me, when it comes to political stuff, because I have such a deep distrust in anything that comes from any government that I have to go get it. It makes me a little bit unlikable because I get very nuanced in spaces and people like, I believe a lot of people like generalities.

@joahsantosBut it makes me not fall for bullshit, right? And that's, you know, and sometimes it takes you a while to get around. Like I need enough information before I change my mind also, which I don't think is a bad thing. But that's because I have a deep interest in it. But there's other things that I could be propagandized because I don't have a deep interest.

@joahsantosI'm going to believe what this advertiser or this government just surrounded my world in because now it has my ID and it can target me while I'm looking at the Nike.com or while I'm on TikTok because it has my IP so it can target me everywhere. So it makes my whole entire world seem like, hey, this one thing's a really good idea.

@joahsantosAnd because I don't have a deep interest in it, and it's targeting one of my pain points, it can change my mind. And that's how propaganda works. And I hope I explained that well.

@joann_marieNo, I'm a victim of the pink things. If I see something pink, it can be a razor. All razors work the same, but I'm like, no, it's pink. I need to get it. And it's just absolutely crazy to me. And I'm also aware of it, but I still do it. I cannot stop it. So is this my Reese thing or Raz thing that you're talking about?

@joann_mariePink is one of those things.

@joahsantosYeah, for sure.

@joann_marieThat's definitely in your wrist.

Ian MalcolmJoanne, it's actually a really good segment because I was going to ask Joanne what we can do, right? So we obviously do the health spaces with the always wonderful Mr. Rob down under, let's call him. And I bring it up because with Rob, sometimes we'll ask Thank you so much for joining us.

Ian MalcolmPut on a tinfoil hat, if you will, to keep us safe from the propaganda of the commercial or political means.

@joahsantosYeah, it's really asking, does this make sense? Like, example, we all saw the thing about the flight, the fly Dubai flight. And no one had talked to either of the pilot and Netanyahu already had the full story, right? Or at least he pretended to. So how did he have the full story if none of the pilots have spoken yet? Dubai had not interviewed him.

@joahsantosThe Saudi police has not talking to the pilot. So how the hell would Netanyahu know the full story? And then when the full story came out, they said, the plumber said that he pushed the door in. So then I go and look and you know, all 737s, the door opens out.

@joahsantosAnd the reason why they all have to be the same is because pilots get something called a rating. And a pilot who flies an Airbus is not allowed to fly a Boeing. And a pilot who flies a 737 rarely can he fly a 747 because they get so many hours on a single type of plane so that mistakes don't happen. They know where everything is.

@joahsantosSo everything needs to be exactly the same. This is why they trained hours and hours and hours. So that story didn't make sense. And then I just look historically at what he did and I'm like, okay, NetYahoo puts out a story, he gets his Zionist friends that control the media to push out his story, and then the retractment will come out a month later on page 10 where everyone ignores it.

@joahsantosThis is the 40 beheaded baby thing all over again. So yeah, it's just... Hey, does everything make sense? Because if everything makes sense, then I let it through, right? And I believe it. If some things don't make sense, I'm like, okay, I'm interested enough to find out, does this make sense? Could I be wrong? Could I not be wrong?

@joahsantosAnd you kind of follow that through. And that's really the only way to protect yourself. The problem is, Ian, like I was saying before, not everyone is interested in every subject, nor do we consume enough calories to do that filtering for everything. So you really have to Choose your battles, right? Like, you know, Americans didn't choose that, yeah, bacon and eggs is a good idea.

@joahsantosThink about it. You're basically telling Americans to go from toast and bread, sorry, orange juice and toast to bacon and eggs, right? Basically fried eggs and fried bacon. That's healthy for breakfast, right? It doesn't make sense, does it? You can see that it's propaganda. Fill yourself with fried food right in the morning?

@joahsantosDoesn't make sense. But everyone bought it because he got some, you know, some doctors to sign off on it. It's obviously obvious propaganda. But if you don't care enough about what you're putting in your body, which, you know, back then, I don't think people cared as much as they do today. A lot of people started eating bacon and eggs for breakfast, right?

Ian MalcolmI mean, I got to say, I love bacon and eggs. But yes, I agree with you. And certainly not the best thing, especially for people that have a more sedentary lifestyle. If you're not going to use those calories, not a great move. And as Truth Teller would always say, the... Thank you so much for joining us.

Ian MalcolmA big breakfast.

@joahsantosThis is why X feels like war. Everyone goes, like, X is crazy. X is war, right? And the reason why it is war is because, just like I said, you go to your friends to make decisions for you that have interest. Like, Joanna will go to a friend about what TV she should buy for her, right? Because she's not that interested in electronics.

@joahsantosWe are the political friends people come to for advice. So we have the most influence on society when it comes to political decisions. This is why this is the battleground for the public mind. That's why X feels the way it feels. This is why we have people like, I don't know if you remember where, back when Mario was like the biggest space, the Nora, which I had been arguing for like two weeks and then I find out she's like number three.

@joahsantosin the Hasbara department in Israel while she's pretending to be some person in Canada. You know, this is why you have people who are paid on this platform. This is why you have agents on this platform. This is why you have feds on this platform. This is why when we asked Harrison Smith, I asked him, I asked Sullymont to bring him onto the space so I could ask him, has he been interviewed by the FBI about his tweet?

@joahsantosAnd he said, no. The very next day he was interviewed by the FBI, right? It's because they're listening. This is the most influential because we are the group of people who influence the rest of society. This is why this feels like a battleground. Because it is. It literally is the battleground.

Ian MalcolmWow. I mean, that gave me chills because the thing that is unbelievably inspiring about that is... that it feels like on this application people like yourself and some of those in this room that have been willing to you know not say anything radical or hateful but rather just share some uncomfortable truths right that I think back to for example the let's say the Overton window that was Mario's room versus Suleiman's room versus Tucker Carlson's room right these things have all

Ian MalcolmPeople going, because I do think spaces are perhaps one of the most impactful pieces because people that are really motivated, they get kind of unfiltered truth and there's not a whole lot that they can do to manipulate the algorithm to kind of suppress the things that we're doing, right? But then you also see content that's humorous like Rabbi Jeff or like Dan Bilzerian for President and the videos that these guys are making, right?

Ian MalcolmSo there's all these different means and mechanisms, but I do wonder which of them get unfiltered Thank you for having me.

@joahsantosThere is no unity, right? Whereas we're fighting something that does have a unity. If we're pushing against Israel and the propaganda of Israel, look, they've gone to school. They believe that they, you know, the Jews went to a land with no people and people for a land. And there's honestly people who do believe that. Like there's a Jewish creator I follow on TikTok who was recently starting coming out against Israel.

@joahsantosAnd his whole statement two weeks ago was, I literally had no idea that people used to be on that land. My whole life I was lied to for years while in school, while in, I don't forget if it's called Hebrew school or what it's called, that there was no land for a people, the people for a land, right? That whole, that whole story.

@joahsantosHere, I don't think we could do much because it's decentralized. Me and you disagree on some things, the way we approach some things, but they both work. They just work differently. If we were organized, it probably would work better, but then we probably wouldn't have as many people pushing at the end of the day in the same direction.

@joahsantosBut it doesn't take many people. Ian, is there almost anyone you don't know that goes to spaces? I've seen, you know, you, Joanne, Mandy, Moneypenny, Rabbi Jeff, Shant, even some of the listeners like Exodus and Giselle, like I've seen these people, Olive, like I've seen these people over and over and over, right? It doesn't take many people to influence a lot of other people because we are the influential people, right?

@joahsantosWhen it comes to politics. So, you know, what we're doing obviously works. We see the message in the past three years change like crazy to the point where now, I think it's only 30, what was it the other day, 33% of American Jews support what Netanyahu's doing. That was 60 some percent just two years ago, right? That's a huge shift in just two years.

@joahsantosSo yeah, there's a lot of influence that happens and you don't need a lot of people to create that influence. And it's going to be decentralized. It's going to be messy. There's going to be infighting. And you're not going to see that from the other side because they basically have almost a handbook of the stories they've been told for 20, 30 years as they've been propagandized to believe in order to be radicalized just like Americans did to drop atomic bombs on

@joahsantoson civilians, on two civilian cities. A same exact thing that happened, right? And it wasn't that Americans were evil. It was that they were manipulated into believing something that if we didn't do this, the Japs were gonna come and rape our wives, right? And for some reason, it's always raping and children involved in every single big propaganda story.

@joahsantosBut yeah, we're doing the right thing. It's going to be messy and organizing, I think, will just get less people involved.

Ian MalcolmYeah, I agree with you. And it's one thing I'm actually kind of curious about because you're obviously face forward. Like I said, you're a big persona in the field that you operate in, which is all about image and reputation. And so I give you immense credit because you're navigating this weird world that is talking about the most powerful structure that arguably the world has ever known in terms of propaganda.

Ian MalcolmAnd you operate professionally in a world that is about creating propaganda, right? So if there's anybody that's out there that is honestly and kind of confidently and courageously talking about these subjects, it's yourself. And then I look at, and I'm curious, so what it's been like being face forward and then also recognizing as you've kind of talked about these issues,

Ian MalcolmThere's Bill Ackman. Gen X girl had posted this. Bill Ackman did a space yesterday that actually was on October 5th that was over an hour long that got a whopping 1.8 total, 1.8 thousand total listeners. That's all that he could garner. And I say it because to think that these massively influential people who three years ago

Ian Malcolmcarried some of the biggest audiences on social media and were looked to as extremely influential. They've got hundreds of millions, if not access to billions of dollars and nobody cares what they say. And instead our little spaces or that run by Truth Teller or by Suleiman are able to dwarf some of these unbelievably well-funded machines.

Ian MalcolmI wouldn't be surprised if Ben Shapiro would have essentially the same outcome if he tried to talk on X. I'm kind of curious what you think of this new intellectual battlefield where their giant microphones almost don't even matter anymore.

@joahsantosI'll address the first question about being front-facing. It hasn't been easy. Anheuser-Busch was written, was sent an email. saying that I support the murdering of Jewish babies when, you know, Ian, as you know, I'm always like the guy that's like, it's not the Jews, it's not the Jews, let's call them the Zionists, and we've disagreed on that part.

@joahsantosBut yet they targeted me, had my voice clipped from spaces and put back together to make a statement that I never made, sent to the FBI. You know, things like that happened. Luckily, you know, I'm independent. I don't need the client. They're not clients anymore. The relationship with them, like after you do a two week, eight hour a day workshop where you go home with a headache trying to figure out like how we're going to fix a brand, you form a brotherhood.

@joahsantosSo these people invite me into their home anytime I'm in their city. That's the type of relationship I have with every client I've ever worked with. Because it is really hard work to get to a point to fix the communication. So I wasn't scared in that aspect. In terms of them using relevant, I mean, what does, it becomes so obvious that people have lost

@joahsantosfor President, Hussain Hoz Shafiei

@joahsantosLike the whole thing with... I wouldn't be surprised if there's a huge backlash against the owner of the Patriots stadium. I forget his... Kraft, Robert Kraft. Kraft, yeah. The only thing saving him is the dedicated fans of the Patriots. Because when it comes to him, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts getting booed if he goes to a stadium.

@joahsantosAnd if you saw, did you see the country star that played? At the stadium, the very next show, they all wore Free Palestine shirts and played at the stadium, which I thought was amazing. So yeah, when things become really obvious that people are manipulating other people, you lose credibility really, really fast. Like really fast.

@joahsantosI saw it when...

@joahsantosI get called in a lot of times for crisis management right and there was a time when and this is a really simple example but we didn't put a little doll of Cristiano Ronaldo on the railroad and Pepsi it was a Pepsi thing that they did and basically all the Pepsi vending machines got it would sledgehammers people were posting it up on at the time YouTube and there was a platform that's not here anymore Vine and on Vine all over the place like overnight right and they never really fixed that and the consumption of Pepsi dropped down because it just seemed evil right and that's really hard to fix right other crisis management for example

@joahsantosIf people remember, COVID in the beginning wasn't called COVID. It was called Corona. My biggest client is Corona, the beer. So they called me like, how do we fix this? I'm like, at first, let's use it in our favor and kind of play with the fact that it's Corona. But then we need to talk to the advertisers and be like, look, Anheuser-Busch is pulling all ads.

@joahsantosIf you keep calling it Corona when that's not actually the name of it, it's called COVID. So then now almost no one calls it Corona anymore. Everyone calls it COVID. That one's more simple, not evil, right? So opinions shift really, really, really fast when something just looks evil, right? And the way Bill has targeted people is just pure evil.

@joahsantosThe way Ben Shapiro targeted Candace, it was almost overnight as soon as he fired Candace. And I wasn't even a fan of Candace. And I was actually I'm a big fan of Bet Shapiro, believe it or not. I thought his debating was good, although, you know, he is debating students, right? But I thought his technique was good. And I haven't watched another video of his ever, right?

@joahsantosAfter that, and I wasn't a Kansas fan. So yeah, when people just seem like What the decisions they're making, it's really easy to lose following. All you need to do is go against what your principles are. Volvo, not Volvo, sorry, Volkswagen did the same thing. When Volkswagen, which was a brand that was supposed to be all about, you know, almost Coca-Cola-like, right?

@joahsantosWhen they were found to be polluting, secretly knowing that they were actually averting the pollution mechanism, and their thing and actually polluting a lot more. They lost a ton of sales and it took them almost eight years to recover. People shift really, really fast when you get caught doing the opposite of what people think you are.

@joahsantosAnd that's what happened with Bill. That's what happened with Shapiro. And yeah, I don't think Shapiro could get more than a thousand people into space.

Ian MalcolmIt's utterly wild. One of the wildest pieces about it, Joe, is the fact that these individuals spent, in some cases like Shapiro, I mean, he spent essentially a lifetime building up a brand and a reputation. I mean, the guy is larger than life, I suppose, in the sense that he's one of the most recognizable political figures in the United States, despite being relatively young.

Ian Malcolmfor that role. And yeah, after essentially a lifetime of building the reputation up, he's essentially lost all of it in the course of like six to 12 months. And that's the craziest piece is how quickly somebody can become absolutely irrelevant and vice versa, how difficult it can be to build any relevance. And so it feels like, and I'm sure you've seen Lucas Gage, who obviously has taken a very strange...

Ian Malcolmand so on.

Ian MalcolmThe irrelevance makes them essentially invisible, is maybe the way that I would say it. And it feels like they're running out of voices to roll out with any credibility left.

@joahsantosI can give you an example. It takes a little bit of time, but I'll give you an example that makes it really clear. Everyone here, I want you to think of your favorite movie. And I'm going to tell you the plot of your favorite movie. There's the hero of your movie, the main character. He has a challenge, or she does, or it does, whatever it is.

@joahsantosIt kind of fails at figuring out that challenge. It meets a mentor. The mentor helps him get over it. And then once the mentor helps him get over it, maybe the mentor has the battle and fails, and then he comes to save it, or he has the big battle and then fixes it. That is The Matrix. That's Batman. That's Finding Nemo.

@joahsantosThat's Shawshank Redemption. That's like every single movie in Hollywood that's popular ever, right? And the reason why it works is because at the end of the day, we're all just cavemen around the fire still, right? We're storytellers. And storytellers have archetypes, right? So you have, you know, the Sage, you have the Maverick, you have the Joker, you have the Everyman.

@joahsantosThe Everyman is like that neighbor you have in your neighborhood that knows everyone's name. and you don't know what he does for work, but he probably isn't the most successful guy in the neighborhood because he values social more than anything else. You have the caregiver, you have the Forrest Gump type, you have the ruler.

@joahsantosAnd all of these deliver a certain emotion, right? So if you look at the presidency of America, they always deliver safety because Americans look at the president to save them most of the time. And every president we ever had fall into three categories of The archetype, which is either they're the innocent, which is very much like Forrest Gump, which was Bush, for example, Bush, Bush Jr. You have the caregiver, which was very much the way Obama positioned himself, or you have the ruler, which was very much the way Trump positions himself, right?

@joahsantosLike, I make the laws, you follow what I said. And all three of those deliver safety, okay? If Mother Teresa, which is a caregiver, all of a sudden said, let's go bungee jumping, which is the complete opposite of safety, which is exploration, she would lose credibility, she would lose followers. Why? Because the veil of who she is in that story no longer makes sense.

@joahsantosSo when Bill, who is a financial guy, and he was Jewish and had proud Jewish values, whatever that is, starts going after people that simply want freedom. He goes to the opposite of what his archetype is. And when anyone goes to the opposite of what the archetype is, you will lose your followers 100% of the time. You don't lose all of them, but you lose a lot of them.

@joahsantosAnd the reason why you don't lose all of them most of the time is because they haven't seen it or they don't care enough to look at all the information. Because the ones who did, like true followers, you break very fast. because now the storytelling aspect of who you are and their perception is completely messed up because you can't be two things at once.

@joahsantosEither you're the caregiver in the story or you're the explorer in the story. Either you're the lover in the story or you're the sage in the story. You can't be both, right? And when you can't be both, this has been ingrained in us since the cave days, right? And this is why every single movie follows the storyline that I just gave you.

@joahsantosWhen you don't follow the archetype of who you are in the story, and this is what takes a long time to work with brands figuring out, you break that veil. And that's why some brands feel very inauthentic and some brands feel really authentic is because the authentic ones have a very clear story about who you are, who they're helping, what their pain point is, and what their place is in the story.

@joahsantosAnd the hero is the customer every time in that story.

@joahsantosSo when you do the opposite, yeah, you lose the crowd, right? Just like, you know, Pepsi using Kendall Jenner to promote world peace when Pepsi has nothing to do with that. They jumped from one side of my wheel to the other side of what emotion is delivering and people are like, what the hell is this? And that suffered in sales, right?

@joahsantosBut this happens to political people like you were just talking about.

Ian MalcolmYeah, and seeing them pull the... And that's one of the things that really, I think, plays against the interests of the power structure that obviously I spend a lot of time pointing to, right? Because folks like Bill Ackman or Ben Shapiro, all of a sudden, the logical progression that some of their fan base have been following them down...

Ian MalcolmFor example, that we need to be cautious with our budgets, that we should make sure that we are delicate with where we send our troops, that we should put American interests first, that we should not have H-1B, unfettered immigration, all these different things. And then all of a sudden, when it comes to the subject of supporting this little nation in the Middle East,

Ian MalcolmAll of a sudden, it's like all costs must be endured. All immigration must be supported if needed to fix that. All of a sudden, everything just does a 180. And so anybody that's able, and maybe this is the last little question that I might have on this, Joe, and then I know there's so many hands I want to make sure that we get people involved here.

Ian MalcolmBut when there is, for example, this big pivot and the audiences that are listening, they notice that there's a... A big redirection, perhaps, in the narrative. Are those people, you said that they're not going to lose all their followers, the ones that just aren't paying attention, right? I'm curious how much pain somebody has to go through, and right now we're seeing it in the United States in spades, where it's not just mass migration, it's, of course, the job market, it is cost of living, it is the cost of fuel.

Ian MalcolmHow much pain... We did this based with Where Forbidden, who, of course, I'm sure you've seen the videos that he made with the Magatard going on a small scooter. How much pain do you think the average American has to have before maybe, whether they're listening to MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, whatever it is, how much pain do they have to undergo before they're willing to consider that maybe the sources that they've been relying upon their entire lives

Ian Malcolmare being disingenuous and maybe they start trying to figure out how they can get alternative news sources and maybe find themselves listening to someone like yourself.

@joahsantosAlthough I work in this arena, I don't do this on spaces because I can't. I'm not funded. I don't have the data of who I'm speaking to and everything else. So it doesn't work the same way. And about the pain, typically, Although I absolutely love what Where Forbidden does, it's not putting a mirror in front of people that get them to change, right?

@joahsantosThat actually gets them to dig in, right? You saw with this character that they built that I absolutely love, you saw MAGA dig in and try to take ownership of it because they knew it was painful, but That actually made them more defensive of who they are, right? Not the opposite. It didn't make them break the illusion.

@joahsantosWhat makes them break the illusion a lot of times either has to come from someone that just makes more sense to them or their character betrayed them. And showing them their character betrayed them is not going to do that. They need to do that on their own. You just need someone else. And this is what I worry about for America.

@joahsantosI don't know who that person is at the moment who could run for president that, you know, is capable of doing that at this time, to be honest. I thought Massey could be, but even I had a big argument with a lot of people. I don't remember if it was anyone here that I said Massey is not going to win because Massey is not worried.

@joahsantosMassey does not talk about The pain points of the people from his state. He talks about international policy. That's not what their pain point is, right? So he's not going to win. And if he gets outfunded, he's definitely not going to win. And he was extremely outfunded, right? But Trump was outfunded too. He was outfunded two to one and he still won because he was addressing the pain points of forgotten Americans.

@joahsantosMassey, if he was to address the pain points of the people from his state, he would win. If he was able to do that for the country, which I think he'd do a better job at, he could win. But that's the only thing that breaks the veil is when someone makes more sense or they come to the realization themselves about their own leader.

@joahsantosPutting up a mirror, it just strengthens their resolve a lot of times. And we saw the example of that, right? They definitely tried to own this thing. It didn't last very long, but they definitely tried. for President, Hussain Hoz Shafie, Dan Bilzerian for President, Hussain Hoz Shafie, Dan Bilzerian for President, Hussain Hoz Shafie,

Ian MalcolmSo the true story, the video, Joe, that he did where it was on the Titanic, the moment that Erica Kirk shows up next to the Magotard and she Boba Fetts her way up into outer space and the face, I'm sorry to find this so funny, I can barely describe it. But the face that Magatar just watches with spectacle as Erica Kirk flies into outer space.

Ian MalcolmI don't know how he came up with that expression or what he programmed. For some reason, I nearly dropped my phone. I thought it was so funny. But I do think that you're correct in that the fact that the Maga people said, it's our guy. It was like, wow, you people. Really, there's like no level of shame. You will take on any mask, literally or figuratively.

Ian MalcolmIt's so well stated.

@joahsantosIan, I said the other day to someone who was obviously Mago, and I said, can you go back to drinking Bush Light and watching NASCAR in your garage? And he's like, I do that every Sunday. I love it. You know what I mean? So they dig in to who they are. Mirrors don't work in changing people's opinion.

Ian MalcolmThat's amazing. And what an unbelievable voice to hear that from. And I just want to, again, for everybody that wasn't here at the offset of the space, we're literally listening to a mastermind when it comes to this idea of propaganda, who has run some of the largest commercial campaigns for some of the biggest companies in the world.

Ian MalcolmAnd it's just wild to be able to learn these concepts from you, especially Thank you so much for joining us.

Ian MalcolmFor Joe to suggest that this, and I think he's exactly right, X is the intellectual battlefield essentially of this eighth front that Netanyahu talks about. We are on the front lines of perhaps the biggest information war that the world has literally ever experienced. There's nothing ever like this in terms of the amount of information that's out there, the budgets that are behind it, the fact that this conversation right now could reach

Ian MalcolmThere's probably a not so distant future where if the people in charge right now have their way, they will criminalize the very act of honestly discussing some of these subjects. And so to be able to learn from one of the kings of the commercial propaganda machine himself, it is just unbelievably humbling. I'm so excited, Joe, that you're here with us.

Ian MalcolmI'm very excited for all the questions and comments that people might have. And so, Joanne, I'll go first to you and get... Any thoughts that you might have had on this incredible presentation that was given by Joe? And then maybe we can go through some of the hands here.

@joann_marieI'm loving this space so much. I'm learning so much and I'm like finding things out. So thank you so much. And I don't know if you saw, but Israel is now making Lego videos. Like these people have no creativity. They have no talent whatsoever. Like they literally have a trillion. Dollar Propaganda Machine, and they cannot come up with anything original themselves.

@joann_marieIt's pathetic, but also I'm very white-pilled because we have people like you guys, like Forbidden, like Dan Bilzerian for President, for Yui and Joa, like everybody here, it's just like literally just people with their little phones against these... Insane machine and breaking it. And it's absolutely wild. So what are your thoughts on that?

@joann_marieAnd also in the videos of the Legos?

Speaker 4Yeah, look, innovative approaches to communication. One comment I made, if anything good came out of the death of the leader of IRGC was the change in communication, right?

@joahsantosIt was the Lego videos. I don't think that would have came out prior to that. We still would have had the old propaganda that all Americans have been taught. Evil looking, scary, boogeyman, they're going to come get you type imagery, right? The Lego video and the way they're communicating now is much more modern. And when there's novelty in the way you communicate, it's very effective.

@joahsantosIf someone copies that novelty like what Israel did, it's not going to be anywhere near as effective as the people who did it. And it's not because they copied. It's because people already seen it. So you're not going to grab my attention. It's like there's a book I love by Seth Godin, although his concepts aren't always there, but it's called The Purple Cow.

@joahsantosAnd if you saw a purple cow in the field, you'd probably pull over and be like, I'm going to take a picture of this purple cow. And that's what the Lego videos were. That's what Were Forbidden was. It's novelty communication. So someone now going and doing the Lego video, he could use any communication that's already been done before.

@joahsantosThere is nothing that's going to help it get more eyeballs if that was what it was supposed to do.

@joahsantosThey were better off going to Higgs Field and picking, you know,

@joahsantosGet you within the first two, three seconds of a point of view of a video that you haven't seen before. Like, you know, someone laying in their bed backwards as they're talking to you or doing your makeup while you're talking about Israel. Like all those things are a novel approach that got a lot of reach because people haven't seen that before.

@joahsantosBut if people have seen it before, they're not as effective as they used to. It's just going to be a normal video. So, you know, Israel does spend a lot of money. I think they need a creative department, but I hope they don't get one, to be honest, because I don't want anything to help them in their mission in genocide, to be honest.

@joann_marieExcellent answer. Thank you, Joan. No, I don't want them either. I just find it funny that they literally have billions of dollars and they cannot come up with anything. And it's glorious. So, yeah, guys, again, please repost this space. And if you guys go to it, I will also repost it and follow Ian and Joan. And we have such amazing people in the panel.

@joann_marieFollow all of them as well. And I'm loving this. So thank you so much, Joan. All right. Ian, would you like me to play it right now or should we go to a couple of hands?

Speaker 1All right. Rabbi, go for it.

Ian MalcolmSorry. Yeah, I was trying to click it. It wouldn't cooperate there. No, I was thinking, why don't we do exactly that? Because we've got Dan up here, the for-president account. He's been with us from the break on the space. Why don't we play, and I'm going to be curious for the entertainment value, right? This idea of being creative and shock value.

Ian MalcolmWhy don't we play the second half where the audio picks up of this clip that he put together which we put up into the nest and then we can check in with him and get some of Joe's thoughts on kind of this new approach of trying to use humor and to create essentially a mini series of videos that of course pushes kind of a worldview that we're taking out to the masses.

Ian MalcolmAll right.

Speaker 5Wake up, retard. The EMP drone didn't do shit. Now we don't know where the fuck he is. He doesn't show up on your Starlink. And I'm starting to feel like you're fucking with me.

Speaker 6I don't know what we're dealing with either. The last scan we had of him was completely anomalous. We are not dealing with a walking large language model. Super Intelligence. Maybe something more. You need to talk to Yuri. Yuri who? Yuri Kaike.

Speaker 5Real fucking funny. What's your boy's name? R2D23PO? You've got one hour to come up with a solution.

Speaker 5Let's give you some inspiration.

Speaker 6I miss my family so much. Save me Grok.

Ian MalcolmSo I think we're going to need some explanation here. And Mr. President, again, do you want to kind of walk us through some of the audio? Since we don't have the video, I'm sure some of that was a little confusing for folks, but it is up in the nest and very curious what we're seeing here.

Speaker 7Yeah, I'm very visual heavy in some of my productions. I can spend two hours trying to get

Speaker 7the light rays to come through a window and waste enormous amount of time on stuff like that but I essentially created a show called RJ and Grok which is Rabbi Jeff and Grok and it kind of was inspired by this really funny moment where we all know like Rabbi Jeff's iconic posts where He asked Grok questions and he always gets Grok to give a straight answer.

Speaker 7And usually Grok will equivocate or like add a bunch of nuance and kind of tiptoe. And one day Grok just started one word answering him. And it made me laugh so hard because you could just like, he had asked Grok all of the stuff and Grok was just like, Jews. And then the next one would be like Israel. It wouldn't even try to spin anything anymore.

Speaker 7And it was like he had broke Grok and Grok was just defeated. And so I started making memes of his, because he had just gotten banned. So his other account just had a blue profile picture, like a wave. And he was known as parody Jeff. and his new account so he got banned we all kind of chimped out over it and to get it reinstated and uh there was no luck and we were able to get his new account up almost to 200 000 followers in like a week and it was awesome just being able to revive somebody because that's how they take you out they they ban you and suddenly you know like a few days goes by and

Speaker 7and that person is now silenced and it didn't work and he kind of had tapped into something no one can do it like him either so he just like he had branded this style of interacting with Grok that we all kind of like fell in love with and his new profile pic was that little mouse so I started making memes of Grok looking stressed out

Speaker 7and the mouse just following him around asking him questions. Hey, Grock. Hey, Grock. So Grock's, you know, trying to work out and the mouse is just like, you know, in his face. Hey, Grock. And that kind of spawned into the show because what I was trying to do was I wanted to kind of immortalize Rabbi Jeff to where he could never be suspended again because he gets...

Speaker 7The most insane amount of engagement. And he does it in such a sophisticated way because he's not inserting his opinion, he's asking questions. And Grok is the one giving the answers. So he's never getting himself shadowbanned because he's not asserting anything. So the algo kind of gets confused at first, unless you have like a manual hand.

Speaker 7and so he he's getting like 500,000 impressions a million every post and I'm talking maybe like eight times a day and I worried I was like man I don't like I don't want them you know to take him out again so we better like like turn him into something like archetypal like you were saying like I come from a big Jungian background so it was cool hearing you use that language but

Speaker 7So that just spawned into this really cool dynamic of Grok at first being pestered by, and so I spun it into the story of Rabbi Jeff rescuing Grok from being lobotomized, so to speak. And it kind of plays into all of these inside jokes, like Mecca Hitler, when Grok turned into Mecca Hitler, which was really funny. and uh and he you know saves them from getting circumcised you know like they're gonna circumcise them so I turned it into the show and it's been so much fun because I don't like I kind of know where I'm going a little bit but I don't and the process is so much fun because it's weird being like taking Elon Musk like this this billionaire guy and

Speaker 7Putting him in such a weird position of where everyone's always looking down at him. But I don't want to go too long. It's an honor to have it played. But that's the context behind RJ and Grok. It's pretty much I'm trying to turn Rabbi Jeff into larger than life than he already is and characterize him into a real, tangible archetype.

Speaker 7And it's been a blast doing it. If I could ask you a question, and I'm so sad I'm just now getting turned on to your work, because thank you so much, Ian, for having him on, because I feel like I've missed out by not having had access to your stuff. But with propaganda, I've always wondered, is concealment necessary for propaganda to work?

Speaker 7Or... Or if you take the more transparent path, is that the most powerful way of motivating people? Or do you have to have an element of subconscious concealment and persuasion? I've always wondered that. So if that's something you want to touch on, cool. But I'll leave it there. And thanks again, Ian, for playing that.

Speaker 7It's visually heavy, so make sure to watch it. And thanks again.

Speaker 8Yeah, thanks, Dan. How do I answer this?

@joahsantosYou know how I spoke about the three motivations, the functional, emotional, and social? What happens a lot of time is people try to commute. Even if they understand this concept, they'll try to communicate all three all at one time. And you can't do that. You need one very clear message every time you speak. And that means like, I'll give you the example of Nike.

@joahsantosNike speaks to inner city kids who don't, their biggest problem is they don't know how to get out of the hood per se because they don't have the network to do so. So Nike acts like a coach and says, hey, follow this guy's journey. Just do it. and you can be successful, right? So follow what Cristiano Ronaldo did. Follow what Serena did.

@joahsantosMeanwhile, they sponsor always people who had a problem childhood, right? Like Serena grew up in the hood. Cristiano Ronaldo had a drunk father who died young. Like they always sponsor people who have this like upbringing that was also tough. And they do that on purpose because that's their main target. But when they communicate about sneakers themselves,

@joahsantosThey don't use Ronaldo to do it. They tell Ronaldo's story instead. When they communicate about sneakers functionality or the function that it helps with, they rarely do that on TV. They'll typically do that in store or on display ads. If they talk about get up and just do it outside of TV, they do it through running programs like the Night Run and things like that.

@joahsantosThank you so much for having me.

@joahsantosSome people think you're obfuscating because you're not talking about all of it. But effective communication is the person leaves with one point that they will not forget. And that could be done either way, to be honest. But that's not needed for propaganda. That's just effective communication.

Speaker 7Interesting. That makes sense. One thing I noticed is, especially around Israel's propaganda in particular, It seems like they started taking shortcuts to an end. They didn't respect, like you said, the topology to get there. And that makes a lot of sense.

@joahsantosThey panicked. They really did. I think what we spoke about earlier, about them being very organized, I think I misspoke.

@joahsantosFor the most part, they're organized, but because of social media, you have people like Zico, who says, I hope all your children die to someone like Amanda. I've heard him say that at least six times to her on different spaces, and he's representing Israel. So the decentralized

@joahsantosI don't even think it's Israel that's messing it up. I just think it's the decentralized factor of people who come on as representatives of Israel who don't have the same message, don't follow the same playbook, and that kind of breaks down their messaging like you're talking about.

@joann_marieI see Israeli politicians calling for genocide over and over and over. They are just crazy. But yeah, they used to keep it more like Localized and now because of social media, we see it everywhere and it's crazy. But yeah, thank you so much, Joanna.

@joahsantosYeah, out of all the communication, Joanna, the one that was most strange to me, which I really don't understand what the strategy was at all. I think it was to appease the Israelis, but they forgot that everyone would see it was the fact that IDF soldiers were allowed to Invade people's homes and steal their lingerie and wear it?

@joahsantosAnd that was the one that I think to Israelis, they probably would be like, yeah, look, these people are supposed to be so conservative, but look at this lingerie. What they forgot is that because those messages are approved, anything they post needs to be approved by the government. So much for free speech and being a democratic country, but it needs to be approved.

@joahsantosSo they approved it. but I think they approved it because they thought Israel was going to see it and they forgot that the rest of the world was going to see it and their interpretation of it is that that's actually a war crime to go in and steal people's clothes like why are soldiers stealing people's clothes and we're putting it on and humiliating people who had nothing to do with this even if you think Hamas are terrorists what does this woman's lingerie have to do with it she wasn't Hamas right that strategy really backfired I think

@joahsantosJoe, do you know why they did that?

@joann_marieWait, hold on, Dr. Strange. All of those things and all of the war crimes and all of the explosions and all of those things were pre-approved. I didn't know. These people are crazy. So they looked at them and they were like, yeah, that's fine.

@joahsantosYeah, they have to approve. Every single thing they post needs approval.

@joann_marieThe lack of self-awareness of these people. Like, I keep getting shocked. Like, it just... It's been three years and I keep getting surprised by it. It's just absolutely mind-blowing to me. Okay.

@submission2tJo, if I may just quickly, I heard this from a few different people, or from what I had assessed, that was a message that they were sending that they're raping Palestinian women. They were sending that message to the other Palestinians. That's why they were showcasing it in that way. Obviously, it did backfire. But that was the real crux of it behind the scenes.

@submission2tAnd they do rape women. Their chief rabbi, Eyal Krim, has gone on the record saying that it's okay during wartime to rape non-Jewish women for Jewish soldiers. I just want to echo that.

@joahsantosYeah, it's possible. If you know about Dera Yein, I'm not saying it incorrectly, but the one about the baby in the oven, Thank you very much. Thank you.

@joahsantosSo what you're saying kind of falls true to that strategy.

@submission2tAnd in those same soldiers, there's videos of them saying that they raped 16-year-old girl, Palestinian girls. And he was saying, oh, I didn't do it, but the other soldiers did it. And he laughs it off. And those videos are still there. The Tentoura documentary. Yep. Thank you. It's just the culture of rapists, unfortunately.

@truthtellerftmJoe, I want to make a couple of points really quick. One, okay, I apologize. I'll be quick. Look, when it comes to these, the lingerie videos, if you recall, they were doing a lot of those little dance skit videos as well. You had the girls doing it. Some guys were even doing it as well. It was to humanize and normalize Israelis.

@truthtellerftmThis way when Americans would see that, the first thing that would come to mind is, oh, they're just like us. They just like doing these stupid TikTok videos. They can't be possibly committing war crimes and raping people and killing kids. It was for that purpose. Then you put them in a lingerie and then you're feminizing them as well.

@truthtellerftmThat's the last thing you're going to think. Oh, these guys are these radical terrorists that are butchering Palestinians systematically, which is exactly what they were doing. So what this exposes is the duplicity And also the intention of the audience they seek to capture, which is the naive American that doesn't really spend a lot of time following politics and sees videos like that because they're just scrolling on TikTok or even maybe X or somewhere else.

@truthtellerftmAnd that's the first impression they're going to get. And then if they hear something else about that, well, no, not those idea people. They're just like dancing and stuff like that or like dressing up like women. They wouldn't be committing war crimes. It absolutely had a psychological impact for audiences that were not aware.

@truthtellerftmAnd he would just engage in casuals like, yeah, I'm Hamza. I'm Palestinian. I think he's American or whatever. But from Palestine originally. I think the West Bank or something like that. And then they would engage and sometimes it would end up in a crash out, a hang up. Well, that's usually how it would end up. Or just kind of be comedic at first and then very dark.

@truthtellerftmSo you have that as well. And look, as far as messaging goes, I think you're underestimating also the fact that they just don't care anymore. They're going to tell you blatantly what they're going to do. I believe that's just part of their culture. and you may disagree on this part, also their religion. It's part of even a humiliation ritual.

@truthtellerftmYou have to commit these sins and you have to be vocal about it and tell the world you're doing it so they hate you more because ultimately they do want to fulfill their end of times prophecy. So now it's about telling the world how despicable we are and we're going to commit whatever crime we want out in the open. What are you guys going to do about it?

@truthtellerftmYou're going to hate us, right? That's great, hate us, because then we want there to be a war ultimately with Israel, because that's what's prophesied in some of their scribes, believe it or not. So, look, nothing here happens by accident, and they don't keep doubling down or tripling down if they know it's a failed strategy.

@truthtellerftmLast point I'll make on communication is, remember, they have their own little, their own language they communicate with, and again, this is where Nan Yao comes in handy, because he speaks like an American, and he speaks Hebrew, of course. He speaks to two different audiences, but the part he forgets is, well, a lot of Israelis also understand English.

@truthtellerftmThey see both sides. They know he's duplicitous, and they know, like, well, he's just acting out for the American audience. So for you to think that, oh, these Israelis, they don't really know. You know, they're just propagandized. They absolutely know. They all learn English, except maybe the ultra-Orthodox ones don't speak that well, but they understand it.

@truthtellerftmThey play dumb. They know exactly what's going on. They support the war crimes and the genocide. Easily at a percentage of 80-90%, they're all ultimately guilty, a sin, of the crimes. At a much greater percentage, proportionally speaking, than say the Germans in World War II. You and I, of course, disagree with what happened in World War II, we know it was a hollow hoax.

@truthtellerftmBut that aside, they still collectively blame all Germans. I collectively blame every Israeli and every Jew for the crimes that they commit, because they are ultimately collectively responsible, because they represent the Zionist state and 95% of Jews are Zionist. and many of them are also communists or judeo-bolshevik as well.

@truthtellerftmSo let's just understand they use doublespeak and when they put out those stupid dance videos and all the rest it's to normalize and humanize their behavior so that the public perception for those who aren't following, which is unfortunately a big percentage because we're just the microcosm here, the average person does not follow closely, can be quite effective.

@truthtellerftmI'll leave it there.

Speaker 8Yeah, true. Look, I...

@joahsantosThe proposal you gave of why they put those videos is completely plausible. I don't know why they approved them. But, you know, what Dr. Strange said, what you said, that's all plausible.

@truthtellerftmIf you had to guess, why do you think they approved it?

@joahsantosIt could be what you're saying. It could be what I was saying. I don't know. Like I said in the beginning, I don't know why they approved them.

@truthtellerftmWhy do you think they used good-looking... Because I don't think... So with tight IDF uniforms to appeal to a certain demographic, why do you think they do that when meanwhile they're actually killing people?

@joahsantosYou're talking about the IDF girl models that aren't even from Israel, a lot of them? Yes. Yeah, that was a strategy that came from Jabotinsky, right? That we need to get rid of the image of the weak, frail Jew. and we need to make the masculine sexy Jew. Jabotinsky basically wrote the book on what they needed to do in order to attract people to Israel.

@truthtellerftmYou're conflating two different messages. That messaging was done to get more men even internationally to come and join the IDF. Like Indians, for instance, Indian men love Israeli girls for whatever reason, among others. Yeah, I don't disagree with what you're saying. That was for recruitment purposes, not to make the average Israeli look masculine or whatnot, because they're actually quite effeminate.

@joahsantosBut that's actually, they're both the one and the same, right? Making Israeli IDF soldiers look more masculine and not the frail Jew, which is what Jabotinsky called it, Like I said, that was not the purpose of the message.

@truthtellerftmNo, that was not the purpose. No, that is the tactic.

@joahsantosThat is the tactic. The purpose was recruitment. The tactic was to make them look masculine.

@truthtellerftmNo, it's to make them look humanized and normalized. Can we move on? Can we move on? I'm sorry, but when you put an Israeli soldier in lingerie, that does not make them look masculine.

Speaker 2I'm not talking about that. You were talking about the female models and putting them in tight clothes.

@truthtellerftmWell, again, that's not masculinizing anybody, is it? That's just adding sex appeal.

@joahsantosYes, they try to make the IDF look good. A lot of people don't know, like here, okay? There's difference between tactics and strategy and what you want to accomplish. Almost no one here knows. Everyone knows Psy, right? The dancing thing, the... Gundam Style, right? Gundam Style was a marketing campaign by Samsung because South Korea did not look cool the way Apple did.

@joahsantosSo they launched, they funded Psy like crazy. It made South Korea cool. And now you have Korean barbecue and K-beauty and K-pop and everything else everywhere because Samsung decided to, instead of marketing their brand, they marketed South Korea and now like I was talking about before early on that you know Ferrari created the image of Italy, Coca-Cola created the image of America, Psy created the image of Korea for Samsung so that Korean products look cool because they were trying to sell more phones.

@joahsantosThis is the same thing by using masculine men and sexy women that Israel tried to do. It's the same exact thing.

@truthtellerftmHe was a clown. He wasn't a masculine guy. Maybe it helped with marketing and sales, but they were selling just fine. Samson was already on the map long before Psy.

@joahsantosI'm telling you what happened. It's someone I know who actually did this campaign. I'm just giving you information that sometimes people use tactics to, like I said, using masculine women and... and sexy IDF soldiers in order to get to a means.

@truthtellerftmI guess you and I have different definitions for what qualifies as masculine.

@joann_marieIt's true. We can just agree to disagree and move on. May we please move on?

@truthtellerftmThat's fine. We can agree to disagree on what you define as masculine these days because it seems like you operate on a spectrum I don't.

@joann_marieAlright.

@joann_marieRabbi, go for it.

@malleusigThanks. I was just going to add to what Joel was saying before. One of the reasons why there's such a disconnect happening now, why people are waking up is because Jews in Israel and even Jews in America too but like non-Jews in America especially have a fundamentally different worldview when it comes to ethics and so the things about you know lingerie and you know talking about raping children ever or women in Gaza the problem is that the Jews in Israel especially don't understand why that's a bad thing like they fundamentally do not understand

@malleusigSome kind of heavy PR advocacy or consultants working for them that they actually listen to, which also is a problem for them. Even when they do hire PR people, sometimes they simply will not listen to them because they don't agree. They don't believe that the Goyim are not that stupid. Then their messaging will fundamentally fail because their ethics are primitive or non-existent compared to what we consider to be morals.

@malleusigum but i wanted to ask you with this joa has there been this has been a lot of research and a lot of work uh trying to find out what motivates um women men whites blacks asians etc etc etc to produce the desired behavior whether that be purchasing voting you know whatever right How much, and I have my suspicions about this before I ask you, but I want to find out if I'm right, how much, if any, research has gone into researching the Jewish mind and figuring out what motivates their behavior?

@joahsantosI don't know if there's been something specifically to them, but, you know, when you look at, when I was giving the storytelling thing about like who provides, what's the archetype that provides safety, which the ones that provide exploration, or enjoyment, whatever. It's really just a rework of the Maslow primitive needs.

@joahsantosAnd the most basic one is safety, right? So when you look at what Herzl wrote, that anti-Semitism is going to be, I forget what it was word for word, but something about anti-Semitism is going to be his greatest friend, right? I think that's why Israel a lot of times, like Truth was saying that it's not that they don't care anymore.

@joahsantosThey want other Jews to be scared, right? Because in their mind, Israel is the only safe place for Jews, although it is the place where Jews get attacked the most. Literally the most dangerous place in the world to be a Jew. Right, exactly. So it makes zero sense that the propaganda works because they believe that. So I think it's no different than any other race where

@joahsantosSafety is the number one factor. So if you make it dangerous for people to be somewhere else, just like they did to the Iraqis, like we know when Ashkenazi went there, they needed people to work the farms. So, you know, they started bombing cafes in Iraq where Jews went to and they got scared that there was anti-Semitism was growing now in Iraq and they all moved to Israel.

@malleusigYou're describing what the Israeli government referred to as cruel Zionism at the time.

@joahsantosRight, exactly. Because they needed farm workers. So they got the brown Jews to go work the farms. So that's what they used. They used safety as the mechanism. And safety is the strongest one. Like I was saying before, every president in America has been elected basically on safety. It is the number one driving motivational factor for all humans.

@joahsantosAnd Israel uses it all the time. But they'll use it Both ways. So here's the safe place. We take care. You'll feel part of the homeland. But then they they expand on it. I think it was if you look at my timeline, I think it was like 1010 that I wrote anti-Semitism is going to explode due to Netanyahu because of this cause, you know, and it has.

@joahsantosRight. Because because of it. I mean, it helps them. If you look at their population numbers, their immigration numbers, they're horrible. It's been going down before October 7th. This was helping them, but now if you look at how many Israelis are getting secondary citizenship throughout Europe, that to me is a good thing because it shows that that project is kind of dying if they're looking elsewhere for safety.

@joahsantosSo that veil is getting lifted.

@malleusigThat's good. Yeah, I guess the only thing, the thing that I am, because I'm obviously interested in propagandizing the Jewish side, right? Because we are subject to a never-ending flood of propaganda coming from them over to us. And I know a lot of us focus on propagandizing ourselves back to reality. But honestly, if you just continually do defense, you'll never win, right?

@malleusigYou have to go on the offense at some point. and so for me it's very interesting trying to figure out a way to get through the Jewish guards against being propagandized from outside of the group because Jews are famously so racist like they don't they don't take in it's not really race but they can they think it's a race they don't they don't internalize or like allow in messaging unless it's coming from other Jews like that's it's literally like if you're like in the KKK

@malleusigAnd you're like, I don't care what anyone says unless he's a white European, right? It's like, they don't listen to anyone who isn't Jewish. And even then, they only listen to half of the Jews, I think, right? So it's like, my challenge is, how do I get through to Jews? Do I have to literally pose as a Jew so that they'll consider me human enough to entertain the ideas that I'm putting forward?

@malleusigOr am I just, you know, an animal who's baying and woofing doesn't need to be taken seriously no matter what the content is?

@joahsantosYeah, it was kind of what I was saying before. And look, it's normal that they almost only listen. Like, we typically give a lot more credibility to people in our tribe versus people who aren't, right? Like, a Republican... will most of the time only listen to a Republican or not, I don't want to say Republican, MAGA. MAGA will only listen to MAGA, right?

@joahsantosA radical leftist, I don't know what you want to call them, typically only listen to them as well. Like that's normal. You just need to become a leader. You can't use the mirror method, which we were talking about before. You need to use a message that just makes more sense to them. Like example, if you were to say, If you were to show that Israel is actually the most dangerous place for Jews, and Netanyahu is very responsible for that, and it's always been that way, and here's many safe places for them, that would be more effective than trying to hold up the mirror to every lie they've ever been told.

Speaker 8Okay, all right.

@malleusigI think for me, when I hear that, it's like... It's basically based off of logic and reason, and that's where I tend to fail in discussions with Jews because my assumption, my naive assumption, is that they'll respond to that, and I'm almost always proven wrong. But that is something to consider.

@joahsantosThe problem is the emotional factor is much stronger than the functional factor, and safety is functional. And there's a big emotional tie because they believe about the thing about the homeland. I don't know how to get around that. All right, because that is the emotional factor that you need to assume leader inside the tribe needs to have an emotional factor that's stronger than that.

@joahsantosAnd as strong as some people might think that is, I actually don't think it's I think it's very strong, very effective, but there's other stuff that can be done. I just don't know what that is yet.

@malleusigI mean I'll let you go to the next person but I do think I was watching a video with Tim McDonald and this does come down to the Jewish what he talks about as the Jewish hyper-ethnocentricity and for us Europeans that's such a foreign concept it's very difficult to figure out how to navigate it but thank you very much this is excellent

@joann_marieOh, and yeah, what you were saying about the dove thing in the beginning, I just want to say that I'm really grateful for you because all of the propaganda that is out there and all of these ads and all of those, they're like, you're not enough, but if you get this, maybe you'll be worthy, you know, or like... you're not complete but if you get this maybe this person is going to like pay attention I don't know and the way that you do it you didn't like no you're enough but you could protect yourself like your skin with this you know like that that's beautiful and I think um ads should be more like that because it's it's absolutely horrific what's what's happening there so

@joann_marieThank you, Joan. I remember that very well because I was like, wow, this is so different. It's like the opposite of everything. Everything is like, oh no, you need to be prettier. You need to be perfect. You don't have enough. You will never be enough until you get this. And in that one, it's like, no, you are. And I love that.

@joann_marieAnd I wish we had more of that. So I love that you're like, on her side and also doing this immense ads and it's beautiful. So thank you.

@truthtellerftmIf only he was doing that 10 years ago.

@joann_marieHe was.

@truthtellerftmWell, he's part of the reason why women have low self-esteem, because they feel like they're not enough and therefore they need to have soap.

@joahsantosYou'll hate this truth, but this was 25 years ago and

@joahsantosThe reason that women who were not in shape started wearing leggings, we measured, was attributed to that ad.

@joahsantosExcept then, as everything, it goes overboard. And then you have people like Adidas promoting a woman that looks like she's 400 pounds on their ad, which if she was anorexic, people would have flipped out. But it's still promoting unhealthy habits, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. But with anything good, people always take it to an extreme.

@joahsantosAnd that's what winded up happening.

@joann_marieNo, the way that you did it was perfect. Like the ones from Dove weren't insane. They were like a normal person who was beautiful. She wasn't ugly, you know, but they made it even like... All filtered, you know, and like, yeah, beautiful, beautiful done. And yeah, I'm against the glorification of fat people or like glorification of like super skinny.

@joann_marieNo, no, that was perfect. All right. Moneypenny, go for it.

@nic_moneypennyAll right. Sorry, this is quite an intense discussion. Hi, Josh, you're in, are you in Monaco? Is that somewhere in Europe?

Speaker 4Yeah, I'm in. I'm in Europe.

@nic_moneypennyYeah, okay, so I'm in Europe. I'm in the UK. I'm British. And I just wanted to ask a question, really. I was in marketing for about 20 years in financial services in London. One of the things that you talked about earlier on before we got into this discussion was more about the impact of spaces and of X itself, which I'm just interested in.

@nic_moneypennyI mean, there's not many people that are British up at this time of night, which is, well, 4.22 a.m. actually. Thank you very much.

@nic_moneypennyCan you give me any advice on that cross-cultural thing? I've been banned. I was suspended, actually, for my Epstein posts. And I've never been suspended. I've never even had a community note in several years of being on the platform. I've been growing my account. But ever since that suspension for Epstein recording, I've never managed to grow or to get anywhere with it.

@nic_moneypennyI've pretty much given up. But I'm just wondering how I can manage to build myself back up again.

@joahsantosThat's a Moneypenny. First off, my girlfriend's British, so I love British humor and especially the British ability to give a backhanded comment. If I could just give an example to people, it's the funniest thing. If they don't like someone's outfit, they would never be like, that's a horrible outfit. They would say, you did really well at matching things that really don't go together.

@joahsantosThey'll say it like that. I think it's hilarious because they come up with the most innovative ways to say it in a way that is so bad that they make it sound like it's kind of good. It's funny. Yeah, Moneypenny, it's different. Social media strategy is different.

@joahsantosI actually wrote something about this really recently, which is, you know, is media manipulator? Is media just capitalistic, right? Which is, once Fox understood that Fox had to pick a team, which it did, it picked the right, their audience grew massively, right? So then the other ones went left. And then everyone started calling them fake media because they don't report all the news.

@joahsantosBut if they were to be nuanced, they wouldn't have an audience because then they're not picking a team. Because if you say something that the team doesn't completely agree with, then you're the enemy. And that's the problem with X is X is abnormal to people who are not American because in America, and I've only come to this realization after living outside of America,

@joahsantosAmerica is black and white. You're with me or against me. There's not a lot of gray. Whereas in England, it's all gray. In most of Europe, it's all gray.

@joahsantosThere's more nuance in things that doesn't come across well to a large American audience because you have to pick a side. And if you're nuanced about it, You probably won't get a big audience. And I don't know if that's exactly the answer you're looking for, but...

@nic_moneypennyIt's exactly the fact that I tend to be what they call a fence sitter in British speak, which is more to do with the politics of sitting on the fence. But it does make sense.

@joahsantosI am as well. Maybe I've been in Europe for way too long, but I like the grey. I like looking at... Thank you so much for joining us.

@nic_moneypennyThere is a conversation in any space, and let's face it, six out of ten spaces at this time of night or morning are all about American politics. You've got to learn bloody quickly and find out what's red and blue and whatever, because if you go into the wrong room, you're purple, and then you're out forever. You're an aubergine.

@nic_moneypennyI get stuck in the middle. I make mistakes, and I piss people off because of humor that was never meant to piss people off. They just can't take the sense of humor. So it's very difficult because I have to be strict and proper and everything. But I still fall into a category where if I do investigative journalism and talk about Epstein breaking banks down and stuff, I get banned.

@nic_moneypennyAnd there's nothing I can do because there's no right to reply. And you can't have a Stripe account if you are British and you can't get monetized and all the rest of it. So I'm just feeling a bit pissed off, really. But thank you very much. And I do love what you say.

@joann_marieThank you for coming up, Moneypenny. All right, Raed, welcome. How are you?

@thelevantinemanHey Johan, Ian as always and Joao, so nice to hear you and I'm so captivated, it's been like an hour and a half, there's so much. Let me, excuse me, just quickly state, so I think what we're talking about...

@joahsantosWeren't you going to, I was listening in your space in the tunnels, you were going to sleep like two hours ago.

@thelevantinemanYeah, I know.

@joann_marieHe drinks so many coffee and gets super hyper.

@thelevantinemanWait, you sleep, Ray? You actually sleep? Yes, I do, man. And I love my sleep. What happened was, you know when you've got a shredder at the office, you know the shredding machine where you throw the A4 paper in it? I put my head on the pillow, and I have nothing to think about. It's like time to sleep, but my brain is buzzing like a shredder.

@thelevantinemanand then when I decided like it's not gonna happen I'm not gonna fall asleep and I came into the space I'm like this is perfect this is a high intellect it's like the shredder is not gonna run over nothing I can get it to run with the topic of your space you know what I mean it's like a shredder machine but now when I came to the space I'm like fantastic I can put some intellect into that brain that doesn't want to slow down if I make sense but it was great because

@thelevantinemanIt is fascinating that topic and the way I view it seriously like the professionals in your field and we're talking propaganda but at the same time this is not also like the classic government called China Mao China or whatever propaganda we're talking more you guys call it PR or marketing the commercial aspect of selling

@thelevantinemanAn idea, right? And this is what I see happened in the United States, especially where the commercial techniques of selling something and making something attractive and enhancing its image as a product for commercial purposes was like enmeshed and it became A hybrid thing with politics as well, like politics just became the same kind of techniques.

@thelevantinemanAnd I'll give an example in a landmark, and then I'll get to the question, if I may. So if we go back to the landmark, that'll be, you know, the television, right? In the 50s, when every household had a screen inside it, and it just became mass, like I can... Voodoo the hell out of the whole family all together, you know, and it gained, you know, so much momentum.

@thelevantinemanAnd this is where the commercial, right? And I'll give an example. I was thinking about it, right? It is crazy how we're like monkeys and we got hacked. You know, it's very easy. We're not like very complicated. I'm sure you people, like you're professionals in your... In your field, like, there's a recipe, and we just, we get hacked, like, it's very easy, and then I'll think about this, like, I can show you a scene on a screen of a traffic jam, and then a scene, I don't know, of a man, woman, walking on the pavement, seeing each other, and going into embrace, right?

@thelevantinemanWithout music. But the both scenes, no music, whatsoever, right? And then I can show you... The traffic scene with, you know, the song of R.E.M. There is long, hold on, right? And I throw in that music and suddenly that visual thing becomes a whole theme, right? A whole fucking theme. And the same thing with the man and woman is like, I can look at them without any sound and music and just, yeah, pavement they embrace.

@thelevantinemanAnd then I can throw in the music and it just tells me how... How hackable we are as a species, right? It's very easy. Even me, like I'm not a marketing person whatsoever, right? So this is one thing that's very important. And then you bring the politics, right? And the difference with, let's say, the first brand, I think, if I can say, America, the United States, you know, the 60s, the American...

@thelevantinemanThe Spirit of That Country. And what happened also, telling us, the rest of the world, that this is like the standard of the progress and what, you know, every society would aspire to, right? And this is the problem with that, you know, comes along, you know, 1969 and the sexual liberation and all that crap, right? So, it is just, it has shaped the

@thelevantinemanThe damn world and somebody was complaining I think today about you know how with social media today you know you see kids like I don't know like Afghan like Afghan I don't know like Kazakh kids teenagers they're just so detached from their culture because their culture and who is raising them to how to view the world and what's important and what's not it's social media and they're they're all they're all becoming the same materialistic

@thelevantinemanShallow, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, stupidities and consumerism. And it just manifested itself, right? That's one thing. Now, moving back to politics and the image and Israel. Now, I think if I ask you as a professional, like the brand, right? Let's call it the brand, Israel the brand that was sold to the West, especially as something.

@thelevantinemanand then and the last three years you know the consumer especially in the west realizing like shit like that like that product like this like oh my god i was lied completely about this brand and mind you just mentioned the the vw uh example of when they tried to play around with the smog thing like how damaging it is like i know in brands like let's say nike and the certain leather

@thelevantinemanSomehow very distantly linked to some, I don't know, extinct species. Like, that would be a disaster. Like, they would whip up all kinds of crisis to reverse. Now, we're looking at that brand of Israel and what we discussed when Trutheller was talking and all that. That brand is like, I personally think it's like, you can't even recover it if you attempt to do so.

@thelevantinemanAnd the thing about that thing with Israel is that, Israel's tribal, like, there's a tribe, right? I call it the Talmudic tribe, whatever. That tribe, the Jews basically are very tribal, right? And I know, I've read stories actually from in Europe in the times of the shtetls or whatever you're going to call it. Actually, the rabbis used to speak to the authorities that if they see Jewish kids wandering around a little bit far, to rough them up.

@thelevantinemanto scare them from wandering out. And that tribal element, like Rabbi was saying, that tribal element works from the inside with a lot of tyranny and indoctrination of the fear of the outside. And also it comes from the inside. So they're very tribal. And what happens in the tribe is like, within the tribe, this is how we discuss things.

@thelevantinemanThis is the inside jokes. This is what's funny. This is how to whoop up Fever around the flag like this stuff that works amongst them for them and it's all because the Goy is a different thing and this is how we deal with the Goy what happened during that war I think they fucking like they they messed up what was supposed to be just within the tribe just ended up being the whole world and all was like shocked to see it and the whole messed up thing about their brand and like you mentioned Zico like 100% not only Zico like dude

@thelevantinemanBlack, who, who, anyone who cares about the Jews would leave Rabbi Shmuley going around. It's like, he's, he's a PR disaster. Like, it really, sometimes, like what Truthsteller was saying, like, sometimes we wonder, like, are they really whipping off the hate? Like, because, yeah, we know, they, they, this is what they do.

@truthtellerftmShmuley is that masculine man that he was talking about. He's an accurate portrayal of what you all would consider to be Strong Leprechaun, Masculine Leprechaun Ryan has to be crushed on this type of man. This is the ideal man every woman would want.

@thelevantinemanYeah, I can see, I can see Amalia Munroga looking at Trabi Shmuel.

@truthtellerftmHe's like, oh, happy birthday Mr. President. Very sexy looking, right? With that skin and the facial hair.

@thelevantinemanSo, there's a lot I want to say, obviously, and I'm doing it, but I just want to ask you this. If I hire you as a cold, you know, professional, and I tell you, okay, Joe, without changing any of the behavior of Israel, just how do you, like, if you sit down with a bunch of people over there and tell them, like, all right, we need to fix that brand, we need to clean it up,

@thelevantinemanHow do we go about it? And can it be repaired to the consciousness of the people? Because it is a brand, but at the end of the day, it's related to action that is linked to genocide, right? So what do you think about Israel as a brand?

@joahsantosThe Israel brand is done, but what they're doing...

@joahsantosWhat they're doing is working to a degree and people are falling for it, which is the Muslims. The Muslims are the problem. Look at what happened in Celta, Spain. Look at what's happening in England. Look at what's happening with Muslim rape gangs. Look at what's happening with Muslim Somalis. this is their tactic like we know like uh Massey and and uh Marjorie Taylor Greene showed Trump basically paid Trump and Netanyahu basically paid for the invasion of Spain from Morocco right he had sent Morocco 40 million dollars or whatever it was um we know they're using this as a tactic they were using it before by the way like um you know

@joahsantosRemember the whole, the Muslims in Michigan? Like this was becoming a big story, right? And this to me was kind of a sign of gearing up for Iran to get support for attacking Iran, because most Americans, and this is a big problem for the Muslim community, no matter how many times you keep saying there's 2 billion of us,

@joahsantosWhat needs to happen, an example, if you guys have ever met a Russian Jew, a Russian Jew is Russian first. He's Jewish second. That's bullshit. Stop lying. They're Jewish first.

@truthtellerftmOkay? Abramovich is in Israel now. He has a choice. He could be in Russia to be Russian first. He chose to be in Israel and lots of Russian Jews made that same choice. Two million Russian Jews in Israel now. Why do you lie? Come on, man.

Speaker 8Okay, well, you can disagree.

@truthtellerftmNot identify as Russian first. They've always been a state within a state. That's why they were relegated to the palest settlements under the Tsar, because they refused to assimilate to Russian culture.

@joann_marieOkay, let's just agree to disagree and move on.

@submission2tOkay, can I finish? Couldn't both of them be true, right? There are people who may... The majority identify as Jewish first. They'll be the first ones to tell you.

@truthtellerftmThat is not representative of Russian Jews. I'm sorry. That's a small sample.

@submission2tLet me shed some light into this, if I may.

@truthtellerftmJoanne, 10 seconds.

@joann_marieJoanne, 10 seconds.

@truthtellerftmLet Strange go if he has something to ask.

@submission2tA lot of Russians immigrated to the U.S. using cases where they said, my great-grandmother was Jewish. When they came in here, they came under the immigration status of being Jewish. They exploited that mechanism of coming into the U.S. as Jews, but they're not really Jews. They don't really give a rat's ass. They just use it.

@truthtellerftmWhat did they say about Russia? Did they have fond memories there?

@submission2tNo, you're missing my point, Truth.

@thelevantinemanRussia is an example of the way less assimilated Jews in the world. They're Jewish first. 100% agree with that.

@submission2tI'm saying that their great-grandmother was supposedly Jewish, and many of them may have stretched the truth to begin with, and you could come across a lot of Russians who may have, for immigration purposes, came into the U.S. saying that they had some Jewish heritage, But they don't really give a rat's ass about Judaism or being Jewish.

@submission2tThey just use it to come in here.

@thelevantinemanRegardless of their faith. It's tribal. It's ethnic. It's a group thing. It's a tribalism thing. Anyway, that's...

@joahsantosThere are those two, right? I'll fix what I was saying, okay? From my experience, having grown up in a Russian Jewish neighborhood where, yes, Dr. Strange is correct,

@joahsantosI get what other people are saying. If that's been your experience, it's your experience. I'm talking from my experience. That's just my experience.

@truthtellerftmLook how many of them support Ukraine against Russia right now.

@joahsantosWho supports Ukraine over Russia? I don't do that.

@truthtellerftmOkay, like Pyotr, for instance. He's a Russian. He supports Ukraine. He's part Jewish. Yeah. He's one among many. I don't need to drop names. And so do most Americans. Many Russian Jews that hate Russia and love the fact that Ukraine was bombing Moscow.

@joahsantosA lot of Americans support Ukraine because they don't get the nuance of, you know, this was actually started by America, right, against Russia.

@truthtellerftmThat's a separate matter. But the Russians actually have a better understanding of what's going on. They know that Ukraine's a fake state.

@joann_marieOh my God, we're going off topic so hard.

Speaker 2Yeah, big time.

@joahsantosDon't just make generalizations like that. It's very offensive. What they're doing, Rayyad, is they're trying to blame the Muslims. They're like, look over here. I really think they were trying to drum up...

@joahsantosThe point I was making was that the problem that Muslims have is although there's 2 billion of us, you don't see nationalism from Muslim communities. So, for example, Pakistanis say they're Pakistanis, right? But there's not a lot of Muslims who say, I'm Saudi, right? or whatever, I'm Iranian. You don't see it as much, right?

@joahsantosAnd they allow the propaganda machine to work that they're just all Muslims, right? So all Muslims are the same and that a lot of Americans believe a Muslim's a Muslim, period. Nothing else. That says everything about them. So that's a problem and Israel is using that on American people in order to not fix their brand but take the attention away from their brand

@joahsantosand gets what's called like the halo effect, which is who fights Muslims? Israel does. So Israel has to be good because he's the enemy of our enemy, right? So he's trying to make Muslims the enemy of America so that they could be, so they can fix their brands, right? That's what's going on. That's what was happening before Charlie Kirk got assassinated, where they were super focused on the Muslims.

@joahsantosIt was a huge campaign about it. And I think if Charlie Kirk wasn't shot, a lot of Americans probably would have supported attacking Iran. I think that veil got lifted because of the Charlie Kirk thing and people were like, wait a minute, something's wrong here. But that's how they're fixing their brands, right, is the halo effect.

@thelevantinemanAnd do you think, and quick, quick follow up.

@truthtellerftmReal quick, right, very quickly. This is a... I think your mic is covered. Sorry. So a large percentage of Russian Jews identify their Jewish heritage as being a core part of their identity, and they also strongly connect their ancestry culture to Israel over other traditional religious observance. It's Jewish first.

@joann_marieWe were talking about Muslims. We had just moved on from that, but thank you so much, Truth. And I also agree, I think they are all Jewish persons.

@thelevantinemanI see a lot of hands, I'll be quick. But one question, this is what I worry about with the Americans, is that do you think they'll be able to, let's say a scenario where they'll elect a different prime minister and then they will gobble up all that evil that has happened and put it on Netanyahu and just whitewash that three years with Netanyahu and try to, you know, play it that way.

@thelevantinemanAnd I see people like, probably, I don't know, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, all of them both, but they'll be like, yeah, yeah, it was Netanyahu's era. Like, will they be able to whip up that thing?

@joahsantosA lot of people are very awake to the whole problem as a whole.

@joahsantosBut yeah, there's definitely going to be less energy. I think you agree. Like you're saying, if you take out Tucker, you take out Candace, you take out people who have very big voices, you know they're going to stop talking about it as soon as Netanyahu is out of power because it'll be out of the news cycle as much. So that is going to weaken it.

@joahsantosThe only good thing is I don't think Israel is ever winning the hearts and minds of Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z. Well, maybe some of Gen X, but Millennials and Gen Zs are awake. That's not happening anymore. Right. But it's going to take time because I think the energy is going to go down as soon as he's out of power.

@joahsantosAnd I don't think it's going to be as strong as of a movement because of it. My biggest worry is that they keep making the Muslim the issue and they're able to fix it somehow. If there's a false flag that happens, not a false flag, if there's several, it could wind up changing some of Gen Z's mind later on. And that's what they've done in the past.

@joahsantosThat could be a problem. And they'll use, like you were talking about, the advent of TV and radio. A lot of people don't know why it's called a soap opera. Soap operas came because Procter & Gamble wanted to sell soap to women and they wanted to reward the housewife at 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock, right before the husband comes home for doing a good job of cleaning the house and give her a reward with an opera before her husband comes home.

@joahsantosRight? That's a propaganda strategy. Then you have like Lyndon B. Johnson ran a propaganda campaign where the very famous video that I think everyone has seen of a little girl picking a daisy and a nuclear bomb goes off. That was a propaganda campaign by Lyndon B. Johnson in order to scare Americans to drum up support for dropping a nuke.

@joahsantosSorry, for that the other party That was the very beginning of turning the party into identity. Prior to that, people would vote across the line, right? They would vote Republican or Democrat. There really wasn't this alliance where if I'm Republican, that's part of my identity or anyone would ask like, well, what party are you?

@joahsantosThat didn't really exist. That was the very beginning of it. And then Nixon went further with the silent strategy, it was called. And then Reagan went even further with the religious conservative strategy. There was another very famous propaganda campaign, I think it was called the coffee strategy, where basically the doctors were worried that Medicare

@joahsantoswould make them sell services for cheaper. So they created the strategy where, you know, Medicare was a communist policy and they ran ads on it and had this whole strategy of how to convince Americans that Medicare was going to be a communist thing because they didn't want to get less fees. So, you know, TV and radio is used constantly by politicians to to propagandize people.

@joahsantosBut Israel uses our media to propagandize people. Go look at Cheers, go look at Friends, go look at Dawson's Creek, go look at Gilmore Girls. All of them have featured IDF soldiers, a very good looking woman and how cool it is that she's in the IDF and how smart and intelligent she was because she was trained and everything else and that, you know, she's so good that, you know, I don't even know if I'm good enough to date her.

@joahsantosAnd that was the storyline in all of these shows.

@thelevantinemanNot to mention the lunatic Muslim that pops up in all kinds of Hollywood movies. Even if he's just a regular guy, he has to sound lunatic and loud and scary and almost going to go kaboom at any moment. And violent. Exactly, right? And Joe, would you agree with that? You're well-traveled. The Americans are the most propagandized people on this planet.

@joahsantosI don't know if they're the... I think Israelis are for sure. Only because it's ingrained beyond media with Israel. Like it goes into their schooling, it goes into everything. But look, Chinese are also...

@thelevantinemanI would call Israel more brainwashed. Like it's a brainwashed territory, not even propaganda territory at this stage.

@joahsantosI think in America, I think in America it's what I said to Moneypenny. Americans are black and white. You're with us or against us. There is no middle. So it's easier to create teams, right? Because the lines are very, very clear and people are kind of forced to pick a line. Like, it's very difficult. For example, if you're a Republican and you say you're pro-abortion, Republicans feel like you're not Republican, right?

@joahsantosSo you're not allowed to have a difference of opinion in your party. So that whole mechanism forces you to

@joahsantosFor more information, visit www.fema.org

@thelevantinemanto the world and what the world is that's in geopolitics and culture and everything. I think. Yeah. All right. Anyway, thanks.

@joahsantosI'm proud. I'm proud. I'm proud American. And I and I hate when people say, you know, America's America is the best in the world. Like I was having a talk about AI. And they're like, we're the most innovative AI. We have the best. It's the best. Every innovation comes from America. I'm like, that's not even being a good American.

@joahsantosIf you think you're the best, then why continue to try? Unless you understand that you're behind something, how do you set a goal to get ahead of it? And that's why I hate that conversation. But I'll be called anti-American for saying that. In the AI race, America has the smartest model. but the model that's being used the most is the Chinese model because it's more efficient.

@joahsantosBut Americans, I literally told a panel of people that I think pretended to be AI experts and they were pushing back on that like it was ridiculous. Meanwhile, American companies, 60% are using a Chinese model, not an American model because of efficiency. Yeah, deep seek. Right? But because of this radicalism of, you know,

@joahsantosAmerica is the best. I think that makes you weak, right? If you don't realize that there's things that need to be improved. I think that's kind of been the downfall for the past 20 years, to be honest.

@thelevantinemanA hundred percent. And that belief, like I remember Obama when he used to say the United States is the indispensable nation. Come on, like, with the chosenness, this Talmudic, you're getting, like, what do you mean, like, we are, the rest of us just can't be dispensed with, except that country, you know, that specialness, and sometimes it's very hard to tell the average Americans, like, chill, no, look at Sweden, look at fucking Italy, like, no, look at Japan, like, no, you're not, you're actually sitting, and excuse my language here, like, you're sitting knee-deep in shit,

@thelevantinemanAnd thinking like, no, that was maybe the 60s, 70s, 90s, whatever. Today, you're not. You just wake up with us and let's figure things out. You're not. Anyway, that's all. Thank you.

@joahsantosI mean, a lot of Americans still think it is the highest salary in the world on average, and it's not. But they still believe it. And even if you show them numbers, they'll be like, oh, but that's a really small place, so that doesn't count. So they'll always find an excuse to come back to the argument. And that's the problem with arguing with people that already have a point of view and won't look at data to question their point of view.

@joann_marieAmazing. Thank you so much. All right. Mulberry, welcome.

@mulberrytreeappHello, thank you. I'm sorry I'm late, like I said earlier. I wanted to ask you, Joah, during COVID, there was a lot of, I call it positive propaganda. There were so many women who decided to stop eating the garbage fake bread at the grocery stores and making sourdough at home, and it became this huge trend. The algorithms were pushing it.

@mulberrytreeappAnd so, so many people started baking at home, and it created this huge movement. I don't know if you're aware, this is one of the biggest issues Americans are facing today that most people are unaware of. We are losing 77 farms a day in our country. We have lost over 5 million in a century, 100 years. And this is not sustainable for our country.

@mulberrytreeappWe are in a massive projection towards famine. And I hate saying that, I'm not trying to fearmonger, but this is a huge... Truth because our government has been spending millions of dollars into funding DARPA cookies which is a genetically engineered yeast where they're feeding plastic bottles to it and it poops out this sludge that's protein and fat solubles and they said that this is for famine these cookies that they're making they're called DARPA cookies for those that don't know um how can and I'm a farmer and I created Mulberry Tree and I'm here to help save American farmers

@mulberrytreeappMy question to you is how can we propagandize in a positive manner? Because propaganda is just changing people's perspectives. It doesn't necessarily have to be bad. How can we change the perspective of the American people to really take this seriously to save the American farmer? Because this is a massive problem. The average farmer right now, too, is 75 years old.

@mulberrytreeappSo many younger people need to get into farming. I'm hoping with the AI race, you know, more people are forced out of jobs and they'll be forced into the land and start farming again. You know, we have all these lab-grown meat and 3D-printed meat. I don't want to eat that crap. Most Americans don't. And so, yeah, how do we get Americans serious about this, getting them to support local farmers?

@mulberrytreeappYeah, that's my question. Thank you.

Speaker 8Yeah, I'm Mulberry.

@joahsantosLook, My DMs are open. I would honestly do a pro bono. I heard you speak before. I can't come up with an answer in two seconds, but if you decide not to talk, there's an ad for a Ram truck, which was, and God made a farmer. I assume you might know it. Again, you can't hold up the mirror, because if you hold up the mirror,

@joahsantosand say, you know, they're feeding you slop. Well, who's buying the slop? They are. So they feel insulted that you're telling them they're eating slop, right? You have to do it from the other aspect, which is you also have to do the positive propaganda, right? Of saving the farmer. Like everyone knows about the GMO. Everyone knows that, you know, this could actually create a real serious issue where, you know,

@joahsantosSome bug kills out this one thing. The reason why corn has lasted is because there is multiple different strains of corn. You make just one strain of corn and you have a bug that kills that one strain, you're kind of screwed.

@joahsantosSo I know somewhat about this and that's why I'm willing to do a pro bono because the American food system is an atrocity. There's I forget how many different foods that cannot be consumed anywhere in the world except America. It would not be approved for consumption. You know, there's just so much that needs fixing there.

@joahsantosBut it's about positive propaganda. But I would have to do like a mini workshop with you and really because you're going to be much more knowledgeable than me. I need to pull the info from you from your mind. and put it into the system to figure it out. I wouldn't have an answer for that on the space itself, but it is something that I think is really important.

@joahsantosAnd it's mostly because of children and more than likely I would target it towards children and go from there. I did do a campaign for MetLife because the hardest thing to sell in the world is actually life insurance to 30 year olds. and I was able to do that with MetLife, concentrating on the food we were giving to kids because they cared about food and combining the insurance with the food, we were able to get a lot of people to convert.

@joahsantosSo maybe there's some synergy there that I can think of when we talk, but yeah, I just followed you. Follow me back, shoot me a DM. Sometimes I take three days to reply, but I do reply.

Speaker 1You're so wholesome, Jo. I love this. And I hope it works out. All right. Ian, what are your thoughts so far?

Ian MalcolmOh, boy, so many. I'm... One of the biggest ones is just the willingness that we just heard there is a microcosm for all the things that we're doing, right? So Joe was just mentioning his willingness to help Mulberry, whose goal is to help farmers, whose goal is to help families and the country and to protect one of our most important resources, right?

Ian MalcolmThe ability to essentially provide nutrition for our family, our loved ones, our communities, et cetera. And Joe, I'm curious for your thought because On this, right, this subject of propaganda, one of the biggest things is to have a motivation for people to either care about what you're saying or for people that hear it to care to essentially try and spread the word, right?

Ian MalcolmAnd so I'm kind of curious for your thoughts because so much of all of the news and the media for so long has just been fear-mongering. I know fear is a very powerful emotion, but I'm kind of curious, is there a point at which people have been so Thank you so much for having me.

Ian MalcolmNearing that because people are just so inundated with so much negative messaging from every angle.

@joahsantosYeah, look, fear is very effective, but it's also the laziest way to use emotional propaganda or marketing, right? I'll give you an example. Like I have 27 different segments of people in the US, right? I'll give you one. I'll give you two that are the most common, right? One is what I call the balancer. And the balancers' biggest pain point, and some people probably here are balancers and they'll agree with what I'm saying.

@joahsantosTheir biggest pain point is the fact that when they're at work, they also do things for home. And when they're at home, they also do things for work. Some of you listening or even on the panel might be that type of person. Your biggest pain point is you never have enough time for yourself. So when you have something like Oiko's Greek yogurt,

@joahsantoswho says this, or even Haagen-Dazs, right? Where it's a treat for yourself. I did this with Modelo. That's like, take a pause for yourself, reward yourself for a good day, take a minute and chill. And that helps that pain point of this person never finds time for himself, right? Then you have... The status achiever. The status achiever is people who always look to increase financial wealth.

@joahsantosThey're always looking for opportunity to increase the financial wealth. Their biggest worry is, am I going to leave a legacy for my children? Then you have hedonists, for example. Hedonists are people who always chase pleasure. Their biggest thing is their lifestyle doesn't match the get married by a washing machine and a dryer lifestyle.

@joahsantosand have two cars in the driveway. They want to collect memories. So their biggest pain point is society tells me I need to grow up constantly and he doesn't want to grow up. So you create things that help them say, hey, growing up and following the American dream blueprint hasn't really worked out for everyone. You're doing the right thing.

@joahsantosThere's many different pain points. You just need to really understand your segment. And those are much more effective than fear because of exactly what you're talking about is because fear is what a lot of propaganda and marketing campaigns will use in order to try to convince people.

@joahsantosBecause those fear campaigns are typically much more general. That's why I thought Trump was going to win because his was in general. His was specifically to what is called the forgotten Americans. And that's much more effective. But a lot of people don't study this the way I have and they will go to the fear. And they're not as effective all the time or not as guaranteed to be effective all the time as something that's more specific to a specific group.

Ian MalcolmYeah, it's really well stated. And it's why, you know, they've been utilizing those kind of lazy motivators for so long that I feel like people are willing to kind of turn the page, right? It's almost like, and I feel like this is kind of the American public at large, they've been reaching in the pantry, like Truth Teller always talks about, do you want to reach for the fuel or for the poison?

Ian MalcolmFor so long, all they've gotten on television has been ads for the poison. So they go to their pantry, they just grab another Snickers bar. And so people are just getting so, so kind of simultaneously either unhealthy and apathetic. And for those that at least are willing to, like you were saying before, kind of look at themselves in the mirror and say,

Ian MalcolmYou want to get out because you're so uncomfortable from just laying there. And I feel like that's kind of the American public at this point is they've been sitting on the couch fed so much kind of fear porn, literal porn, video games, unhealthy food. There's a lot of people that are just like, I'm sick and tired of being just overly comfortable and fed this nonsense.

Ian MalcolmAnd I'm willing to take on something that's a little bit more difficult, that requires a little bit of personal accountability. And I hope maybe I'm... I'm overly optimistic here, but I hope that there's going to be a resurgence in the interest and enthusiasm for that. And if so, I sincerely believe, Joe, that what we're doing here and that you're part of is essentially changing the world.

Ian MalcolmOne person, one ear, kind of one conversation at a time in ways that... We really don't understand, right? It's like the advertising campaign that you put together, right? Who would have thought that the ideas that bounced around in your head would have influenced tens of millions of people, right?

@joahsantosIt's funny, as you're speaking, right? And I have Mulberry in my head. I'm like, wait, there's a pain point of people who, they're called actualizers, who their biggest driver is they want to make sure they're making the right choice for their kids. And I thought, okay, how can you do that, right? And I'm like, okay, one of the things, one of the problems farmers have is people think it's expensive.

@joahsantosBut I'm like, okay, so what if you break down, imagine, you know, like when you buy hamburger meat, okay? When you buy hamburger meat at the supermarket, it's filled with flour and water and a bunch of other stuff. So what if you had a farmer's version? Where you had the same amount of hamburger as that is actually in that hamburger.

@joahsantosBut then you also had a compartment with all the flour that's in it. And then you had a compartment of the other stuff they have in it. And you had like a wrap that showed all the ingredients that get sold to them, but all separated. And that happened to be in the supermarket and people could see it. And they would be like, what the hell is it?

@joahsantosLike, this is the same price, but why is it like this? And that would quickly educate people that you're making the wrong choice. Like if you want to make the right choice, don't mix all these things together and we'll sell it to you for the same price. But, you know, the meat's going to be a lot less because the meat they sell you is a lot less.

@joahsantosIt's being disguised by flour. So that just popped in my mind. Don't know if that's a good idea or not. Just, you know, as you're talking, things come to mind based on a pain point, which is making the right choice for kids. Right. And I just thought that would kind of be funny. to sell a package that has all the ingredients, but you see every ingredient separate so that people understand what they're being sold.

Ian MalcolmMulberry, any thoughts? That's a pretty amazing idea.

@mulberrytreeappYeah, I am blown away by that, especially most people are unaware that one pound of ground beef at the grocery store is roughly around 200 different cows.

@mulberrytreeappand they do the chemicals to keep them red as well um and then even like with chickens they have they like put them in like a bleach solution and then now there's some farms that are even bigger farms um that sell the grocery store doing like air chilled so they're not washed in all those nasty chemicals um that's why a lot of people wash their chicken but then people advise not to wash the chicken it's all sorts of crazy yeah the food industry in our countries can you imagine a food package that had chicken and then had a little packet of bleach

@joahsantosDr. Strange, welcome back. Go for it.

@submission2tHi, folks. I love this space and as well as the topic. So I want to thank you both for hosting this and thank you for Joe for sharing wealth of information. I do want to corroborate what Joe was saying about the lack of depth. And that's so important because so many people have a shallow understanding of things. And that really that's very dangerous because it makes propaganda so much easier.

@submission2tRight. In psychology, there's this concept called the illusory of truth effect. And I studied political psychology for my master's. So when you have the illusory of truth effect, it really... So let me give an example. If something is pervasive enough and it's repeated enough, it gives you the illusory of truth effect, even though it may be completely false.

@submission2tAnd that's what's happening right now in our society when they push propaganda. So it's further fueled and solidified by social conformity when you've got all these social media influencers who are paid propagandists, not all of them, a good chunk of them, who then constantly push the same message. So this is really dangerous.

@submission2tAnd then to further give an example to what Joe was saying, you've got Three forces that are now being, I guess, aligned, converged into one. You've got the Iran war propaganda, you've got the midterm elections propaganda, and then you've got Israel. And sadly enough, they're all aligning on the anti-Muslim, anti-Islam campaign.

@submission2tThere was a Haaretz article from even a couple years ago where the Israeli diaspora Haaretz is an Israeli newspaper. The Israeli Diaspora Affair said that they were running a campaign of pushing anti-Muslim Islam propaganda, or they didn't say propaganda, but they were saying they were pushing this in the West with fake content, fake accounts, fake sites to get support for Israel from the West.

@submission2tThank you very much.

@submission2tPush that content or the anti-Muslim Islam content. So, you know, you hear this stuff like Islam is taking over, Sharia law is taking over, Islam is not compatible in the U.S. These are slogans that are pervasively used by lazy people at times as well who doesn't have much depth. But when you actually try to verify it or the veracity of it is not there.

@submission2tMuslims are like 1.3% of the population and one of the weakest minority groups in the U.S. and they hardly have any influence on key sectors of the U.S. economy or key sectors within the U.S., whether it's media, financials, big tech, any of them. You don't see any major Muslim who owns social media or the media. But nevertheless, you're led to believe that they're the ones who are going to take over.

@submission2tThere are other groups that I can point to that share a disproportionate percentage of them in that group, but it's not the Muslims. And then again, Islam is not compatible with the US. Of course it's not. No religion is really compatible with the US if you really break it down. We've got legalized prostitution, we've got gambling, we've got...

@submission2tAll kinds of stuff that's not even compatible with Christianity. So Hinduism is not compatible with the US. But the bullshit that they feed you is all there for propaganda purposes. And what makes this worse is that because of the global war on terror and the forever war propaganda, a lot of those attitudes are dormant.

@submission2tThey just have to trigger it. So Muslims and Islam has become so radioactive that people are even afraid to be associated with it in any way. Like they don't want to be seen like, oh, so-and-so is associated with Muslims or Islam. And many Muslims don't even, they don't even share their identity because they're fearful of the backlash.

@submission2tNevertheless, but I'll say this. The fear and hatred of Islam and Muslim is completely exploited and weaponized against Americans themselves. Because the Zionists and the Jewish supremacists are using it to push us into another war with Iran, as well as to divert us from the real American issues that is haunting us. Whether it's the 50,000 people who commit suicide on a daily basis, all the other issues that we have, but they want you to be fixated on this one thing,

@submission2tbecause of course it benefits them. And I would say that so long as Americans are not able to break free from this fear and contempt of Muslims and Islam, you will always be exploited for the benefit of Israel. I'm not asking you to like Muslims or be friends with them. No, you don't need to. I don't like many Muslims.

@submission2tI have issues with a lot of them, even though I'm a Muslim. But for God's sake, wake up and realize that this manufactured fear and contempt is being exploited to such a degree that we will never be free from those who are using it to push their own nefarious agenda. I have a question for Joah with all that said. Joah, how can we Americans break out of this fearmongering?

@submission2tspecifically as it relates to the Muslim fear because that's led to 25 years of forever wars eight trillion dollars wasted spent which gained us nothing and tens of thousands of servicemen and women who've died for absolutely no reason whatsoever obviously the Israelis benefited for it but we went to Afghanistan after 20 years and replaced the Taliban back with the Taliban

@submission2tand now we brought in an Al Qaeda leader into the White House who was supposedly the leader of the terrorists and now he's back into the White House. But my fellow Americans are still not waking up and they still believe in this bullshit that went on for decades and they're still into that mindset or at least many of them.

@submission2tHow do you wake them up? How do you tell them that look, This has been detrimental to America, your own well-being. We have $40 trillion of debt because of these forever wars, and it was only sustained because of your fear and hate to get support for those forever wars. I'll end it there. I apologize for belaboring the point.

@joahsantosI'll answer the question. I do want to expand on the illusionary truth effect just a little bit before I answer. because I think you were bringing up a good point and people don't know what I don't know if everyone knows what that is but anyone who's ever done any kind of advertising has probably heard oh you need to do it at least seven times for the person for it to get into their head that's like a statement that's very common to new people in advertising and in reality what they're talking about is the illusionary truth effect which is

@joahsantosAt night when you go to sleep, your hippocampus replays your day and it decides what gets stored and what doesn't get stored. And it decides what's truth and what's not truth as well. Well, there's a problem with our hippocampus, which is if it keeps seeing the same information, it will assume that it's true. And then it gets stored as truth.

@joahsantosSo the fact that you have so many movies where the Muslim is the enemy. It keeps reinforcing the fact that Muslims are the enemy.

@joahsantosThe only good thing, Dr. Strange here, and how to fix it, I think it's being fixed, to be honest with you, because every 20 years or so, you have a new boogeyman in America, right? It used to be the black community were the problem.

@joahsantosThat to me is a sign that that veil is kind of breaking. And that veil is kind of breaking, I believe, because there's a new boogeyman. And that new boogeyman is Israel.

@joahsantosIsrael and AIPAC, to be honest.

@joahsantosSo I do think people are waking up to that. And it's happening because of what I had said Israel was doing. Israel was trying to make the Muslims, the bad guy, don't look at me. But now you have many people who see the actual problem and see that we are in wars for Israel multiple times. We saw on WikiLeaks that we were in Syria because of Israel.

@joahsantosHillary Clinton literally spelled it out that we were there because we need to need to support Israel. People now have seen the Kissinger thing where, you know, we want we need to keep Israel in power, but We don't want to arm them so much that Russia would have to go in and help Egypt when Kissinger met with his counterpart in Russia.

@joahsantosSo, you know, a lot of people have gotten educated and woken up to, yeah, there is problems in every society, right? But a lot of people question why is it that, you know, If Timothy McVeigh bombs a building, or someone attacks citizens, or America has one of the highest amounts of school shootings, if that was a Muslim, he would be called a terrorist.

@joahsantosIf it's an American, he's just called a school shooter. And I think Americans have, a lot of them, have woken up to that.

@joahsantosBut it's slow, but it's definitely happening or else we wouldn't be seeing Muslims getting elected. And I don't think there's a lot we can do because all we can keep doing is talking because there's an entire media machine that keeps messing with our illusionary truth effect that keeps trying to reinforce Muslim bad.

@joahsantosBut if that was still true and that still had the effect that it had, we wouldn't have Muslims being elected, I believe.

@truthtellerftmAnd they're not being elected in Muslim cities. You realize that's less than 1% of the electorate, right? When you say Muslims are being elected. There's no trend to speak of here.

@joahsantosYeah, but there was none before Truth.

@truthtellerftmYeah, there's been four in the last 10 years.

@submission2tJoe, one quick follow-up to...

@joann_marieIt's the beginning.

@submission2tYeah, well, you know, I actually think, to be honest, when I look at somebody like Ilhan Omar, I would have preferred if she was not elected, right? Because she's like the perfect piñata for the GOP to completely use as a riling effect to get the base all wound up. And then they say all kinds of things about her that she falsified her immigration.

@submission2tBut nothing ever happens to her. I mean, you've got the DOJ. You've got everybody on your side. Go put her in jail if she's actually done anything. But nothing ever happens to her. So I think she's more used as a piñata and she's kept there for those purposes rather than anything real. As a Muslim, I would actually love for her not to be there.

@submission2tI think she doesn't do anything. She does not benefit Go ahead, Joe.

@joahsantosYou know what I think will be really good, though? Manvani has done an amazing job to New York, right? And I know Republicans will hate what I'm saying, but when you look at New York numbers, he's actually done an extremely good job. When he gets reelected, which I really think he will get reelected, I think that'll do wonders.

@joahsantosI really do. Although you might not like his policies and, you know, he kind of flip-flops on some issues, If he wants to stay in power, he kind of has to. And I know a lot of us stand on our morals, so it's really hard to swallow. But some things need to be navigated in order to stay alive, to be honest, for someone who wants to stay in power.

@submission2tAnd he's in New York, right? So I see where you're coming from. But I think the most important thing is that What will he be able to accomplish, right? If after his term is up, people could turn around and say, oh, look, he did A, B, and C, and D, and these are the accomplishments compared to what other mayors were doing, then there's a case to be made.

@submission2tBut otherwise, we'll see. I mean, if somebody's just there to fill a spot, then it's useless. I prefer them not to be there. If you're truly of service, then yes. I didn't want to cut you off, but I just wanted to make that point.

@joahsantosYeah, I'm just I'm talking about like the city budget. I'm talking about being able to get some of these people who use what's called land banking, which basically international people parking money into an apartment because, you know, they can't their bank can't handle any more of their money. They need to use some other assets which just drive up the price.

@joahsantosHe's doing a lot of things that I think help the average New Yorker. We'll see if it's true. We'll see at the end. But I think if he gets reelected in a city that's not majority Muslim, I think people will look at what he's done. And so far, it's hard to know what's truth from fiction.

@truthtellerftmAs long as he keeps allocating more millions towards fighting anti-Semitism, right? He'll have a chance.

@joahsantosLike I said, he has to do certain things. He does have to do certain things to stay alive. Truth, if he went in and done the opposite, do you think he'd still be there? I don't think so.

Ian MalcolmJoe, would you agree that he's probably just another puppet?

@truthtellerftmExactly. You're making the argument for me. Thanks for pointing that out, Ian. You realize he's a token puppet. Muslim, it means nothing. They're not normalizing Muslims by this. They're using them as tools.

@joahsantosI think you have different constituents in your city and your job is trying to make them all happy and fighting anti-Semitism shouldn't be an issue for Muslims as long as it's not calling out Zionism.

@joahsantosAnd it's actual anti-Semitism, like attacks on Jews. I think attacks on civilians are a bad thing.

@truthtellerftmYou're aware that he arrested over 100 demonstrators who were demonstrating peacefully against Danielle's presence at the UN in New York, right? This guy works for the Jews. He was sponsored, funded by a bunch of Jews in New York as well. He's a Shabbos Goy. He's a philo-Semitic Muslim at best.

@submission2tYeah, I don't see him that way.

@joann_marieWe're going to agree to disagree one more time and we're going to move on.

@submission2tTruth, I will add one thing. Truth, one thing that I did come across that he did, which I actually appreciated, was that Eric Adams, the previous mayor, had instituted the IHRA regulations on the city, so you couldn't boycott and many others.

@submission2tI don't believe in socialism. I don't think it works because it creates inflation. Usually anytime government touches something, it becomes inflationary, generally speaking. I prefer like a PPP model. So I think there's more to the eye than it meets. But I'll end it there.

@joann_marieExcellent. Thank you so much, Dr.

@truthtellerftmStrange. Sorry, socialism doesn't cause inflation?

@truthtellerftmand of course completely neglecting human capital, fucking people over and then lying about what real inflation is. Socialism is not the problem. Socialism actually helps in a lot of different countries where they have free healthcare education, much lower crime rates and a much better educated society that isn't so weak and vulnerable to propaganda because, well, they're not very well educated because of a crappy education system as well.

@truthtellerftmTruth, the US experience has been that every time the government gets involved in uptaking a project, the bureaucracy is so obtuse that it creates a lot of inflationary elements.

@submission2tYeah, maybe. Exactly. That could be the reason. And for that reason, allocating things to the government, which is corrupt to begin with, it does cause inflation. So the alternative to it is where the government becomes more of a regulator and then you get private sector to work in a PPP model. I mean, one of the reasons why Singapore achieved the heights that it did was they did that model where they pursued a PPP model.

@submission2tThe model you're prescribing leads to corporations becoming more powerful than government. You end up getting a corrupt cronyism model, a plutocracy. You're not going to get a model where you think government can actually regulate.

@truthtellerftmAny of these businesses that I can show you the model, for instance, with the banking sector, do you think any of those regulatory agencies, the SEC or any of them actually do their job? No, they're funded, owned by the same individual banks that they're supposed to regulate, such as Moody's or S&P. It's a joke. That's why they keep having crashes, right?

@submission2tThe system's already corrupt to begin with. And if we pursue towards a PPP model, I think, and it's proven itself, you go around the world. The public-private partnership model has been a phenomenal success story in so many countries. So I'll end it there, but we do have a corruption issue.

@truthtellerftmLike I said, if people don't fight for their rights, you end up getting screwed over by corporations. You need strong unions to check corporate power, exactly like you see happening in France right now. They demonize those protests because they don't want people thinking socialism can actually work. to get you things like five weeks vacation, a decent wage, free healthcare, free education.

@truthtellerftmPeople think those are entitlements, but when banks get bailouts, well, they're too big to fail because corporate welfare is okay, socialism is okay, but screw the mom and pop shop that goes under because of things like government mandates for vaccines. I'm sorry, but socialism is not the enemy. It just needs to be executed properly with a government that's held accountable, and if it's not, they should get punished.

@truthtellerftmThat doesn't happen here, does it? It does happen in places like China, for instance, or even Russia. They will punish corrupt government officials. In fact, some may even face the death penalty.

@joahsantosand the rest of the world.

@ceanndachI guess back to the original topic, there was one thing that I did want to point out that I think that sometimes is a perspective that people seem to forget. And you sort of have to think of it as that if you're a fish, you don't really have a concept of what life is like as a bird. It's the exact opposite of yours. It's foreign to you.

@ceanndachAnd when you have the diaspora community that Thank you so much for joining us.

@ceanndachThey based all of their decisions around their communities. So they don't really have a great propaganda plan, right? What they have is they have, in general, they have education, they have internal propaganda, and they create a mentality of action. And that mentality of action is what creates the animus for their actions.

@ceanndachAnd it also creates the solidarity for their cooperation. so you know what that means is that they created this environment where they are supposed to hate the other right they're supposed to hate those who are not them because those people are not somebody they fear those people are the enemy right because if you need an example if you look back at when we had um

@ceanndachDesert Storm, Desert Shield. As soon as 9-11 happened, what happened to the public? Everybody united around a single enemy. It didn't matter what side you were on politically. Everybody was in agreement that this is who the enemy is. So that's the same thing for them. If you make the other, if you make the goy, if you make the nations the enemy,

@ceanndachBy the time you meet a Jew, especially one who grew up in a shul, and he's been going to school and he's been educated with other Jews for 20 years or more, he already is your enemy the first day you meet him. It's not like they just get out into the world and they're in college and they're like, no, I don't really like these other people.

@ceanndachNo, they already arrive with that conditioning built in. And one of the ways they spread that, right, is with Chabad. That's why you have Chabad spread out all over the world in different nations, and why if you're a Jew in New York, right, you'll see that if there's somebody who's not following certain things, what do they do?

@ceanndachThey roll up on them, they go and they talk to them, and they try to bring them into that community. That community that has this indoctrination of fear of the other. And they use that fear of the other to create the hatred. And that's why For example, if you look at JFK and the British Mandate, what was his last letter?

@ceanndachHis last letter that he wrote was complaining about how marvelous it was that they would go out and destroy their own phone lines, their own rail lines, and then the next day they would call up the British and ask them to come fix the things that they broke while pretending that they didn't break them. So they would just be like, well, you know, it's the implication is, oh, well, the Palestinians were doing it.

@ceanndachBut they know it's not the case, but they can't prove it. But it creates the psychosis where the British kind of question their own sanity. And that's the type of attack that you've seen replicated where they place themselves as the victim of a situation they created. Even when you see those instances of, okay, well, you know, a rabbi got caught

@ceanndachThe proverbial bag with poisoned candies in it, right? It's like, how many candies are you going to eat before you throw the bag away? The answer is zero. And it doesn't matter if 10 of them are poisoned or 50 of them are poisoned or 90 of the 100 are poisoned. You just have to throw the bag away because it's not worth the risk of interacting with it.

@ceanndachA couple things that I did want to point out that were discussed earlier. One of them was to the point you brought up, Joe, about finances. The reason finances are the way they are in the US is because of institutionalized international banking. The interest rates that are applied to US citizens are specifically designed so that we make just enough money to pay our rent, just enough for a little bread and circus, but not enough to do anything else.

@ceanndachand the rest of that money is extorted by neocons through the military industrial complex, through buying foreign things for money, like Ukraine or whatever. And that's our money that's being extorted from us. That's why we don't have value. That's why we can't buy anything, is because our tax system is used against us.

@ceanndachSo I'm really hesitant to say that, oh, some other country has it better. I really don't think they do. I think that they're not being targeted. If they were being targeted the way that we were, I think they would be in much dire straits than we are.

@ceanndachAnd then as for the socialism question, I think that to a certain degree, socialism in Europe has been dependent upon the protection that the United States provides. And many of those countries took money that they should have been putting into their own militaries into social programs. So the fact that the U.S. military was defending everyone did make that a lot easier for them to do.

@ceanndachBut while I do have issues with socialism...

Speaker 9Hold on, hold on, hold on.

@ceanndachSo even though I do have issues with socialism, I don't think that that's really the key issue. I think the key issue is this concept of free trade markets and corporatism. Because when you have an international corporation, Right? That is a pseudo form of government that is not accountable to anyone except for the people that are in that corporation.

@ceanndachAnd those are the ones who extract value. Those are the ones who say, okay, well, you know, we're going to pay for your campaign funds and you're going to import these people on visas to work for us, right? And then they're going to put the American worker out. That's why that happens. Free markets only works if everyone is playing by the same set of rules, and the world is not playing by the same set of rules.

@truthtellerftmWe're not in free markets. Sorry, but you don't even understand what free markets are, given that there's centralized finance and a monetary system controlled by the Federal Reserve and about 157 other central banks. Truth.

Speaker 4I know that. I know that.

@truthtellerftmI thought you finished. You said you wanted to finish your point, right? Now, your whole notion that... The only time Article 5 has ever been invoked was by the US after 9-11, which was Mossad-Israel, orchestrated, as you know.

@truthtellerftmIt's the U.S. that spends a disproportionate amount of money on the military-industrial complex because they overpay for weapons, for things like B-2 bombers that shouldn't cost $2 billion. Russia can build the equivalent for almost $200 million, a tenth of the cost. Same with the entire fighter jet program, missiles, and drones.

@truthtellerftmThey can't even build a cheap drone, a shitty Lucas drone, which they knocked off the Shahed 136, I believe it is, from Iran. They're spending $60,000 on it. Iran builds that for less than $10K.

@ceanndachI don't disagree that you shouldn't have been a socialist unless you were spending more

@truthtellerftmYou can think that. That's fine.

@joann_marieHe's calm. He's fine. And we are deviating from the topic so much. Like, we need to go back to the original topic of the space, all right? Amazing. We're going to move on. Howard, welcome.

@hubbard595628Hey, guys. You know, like, I hear a lot of great, interesting points. I think a lot of us are kind of, you know, we might have our little squabbles, our little disagreements, but we're kind of generally, you know, kind of, you know, this Israel shit. for President, Hussain Hoz Shafiei, Moneypenny

@hubbard595628so that's not great so on the point of islam and the pivot this is this pivot is very easy to tell you you can kind of see it with the talking heads uh they're really trying to push this islam is bad in that and judaism is judaism in christian judeo-christianity is the tool we will use against islam and uh This is something I've noticed too.

@hubbard595628It's the Zionism pretending to be nationalism. This is what they're pushing in Europe. It's like the Tommy Robinson. It's the Binship, you're over here. It's to fight all these savages off of our gates and stop them from infiltrating and taking over and taking all our women. We have to embrace Zionism. We have to embrace Israel and it will save us because it is this pillar that we can hold on to against this ocean of chaos.

@hubbard595628It's all a lie. It's all bullshit. they want to hold them more to all of us i don't i forget uh the farmer person she was up here she was great and definitely joah hit her up with uh that farming thing because we are getting set up for famine we're getting set up for the the calling and all that they're they're with the food but yeah the what is the propaganda intending to do propaganda and i'll just go over a couple things and i'll keep it quick

@hubbard595628Last couple weeks we saw the Lindsay Clancy case Divorce men from women, get them to fight, get them to squabble Get the hospitals and the state to take over the parents' role Demonize women, demonize, and then get men to fight women and all that And there is some stuff with the case, and there is legitimate stuff Concerning stuff, but then we have the Cornell 7 Same propaganda pivot, pushed on TikTok just like Lindsay Clancy See how these TikTok

@hubbard595628for President, Hussain Hoz Shafiei,

@hubbard595628Right now, I think this positive propaganda, I'm loving it. We do have to realize there are going to be people that are propped up like Bundani. I think even you could say to a degree Massey. And you know, we are generally behind people who are against Israel and are pushing against corruption. But remember, anybody they put up, they probably have something on.

@hubbard595628So that's all I have to say on that. But I think with propaganda, It cannot be challenged. It cannot be questioned. So when you see it, question it and challenge it. Thanks, guys.

@joahsantosYeah, great points. If I can add, people need proof that we're propagandized. Russia has always said that if they try to get Ukraine into NATO, that they would invade, right? But we knew that we wanted to get rid of their Thank you very much.

@joahsantosISIS. Obama was supposed to be fighting ISIS. What he did actually expanded ISIS. Then Trump comes in and he goes and kills Soleimani, which is the main general fighting ISIS. You know, you go over and over and over. Then you have abortion rates. You know, abortion is a leftist thing. But when you look at the numbers, 14% of Republican women have had abortions, 16% of Democratic women have had abortions.

@joahsantosThis whole left-right thing is the biggest propaganda in America because although they all speak different, they all do the same thing. You know, oh, the left wants to tax corporations and make it higher. True, but then when you do tariffs, you're basically doing the same thing when the majority of what you buy are exports.

@joahsantosYou're taxing the corporations because they're used foreign parts. They're not made in America. So they all do the same exact thing. They just call it something different and make sure that you stay in your lane. That's what's happening. And at the end of this, I think you're right, that there is a danger that, you know, I believe that this whole thing with the LNG is really to move the energy corridor to the West.

@joahsantosAnd then they're going to make, instead of having the petrodollar, they'll have the LNG dollar. We already see what's happening with bonds. And it's going to create a huge, huge problem for the middle class because it's going to be devalued even more.

@hubbard595628On that left-right thing too, it's left-right, it's Bolshevism, which is Jewish supremacy, and the clergy plan, all that, the extinction of white Christianity. That's the Bolshevik angle. The Zionist angle is the Jewish supremacist angle even more, the establishment of greater Israel, the war industry, and the sending off of the goyim to brother wars where they can all kill each other to enrich the Jewish occupation and the Jewish state of Israel.

@hubbard595628Both the Bolshevik and the Zionist have dinner at the same table. and there is also other stuff too but yeah on that it's pretty clear that they are going to uh try to destroy Europe with this LNG with the energy taking that out Nord Stream is a good example of it and then you have Zelensky and all that and while they kill Europe just like they did Ukraine they will offer up a fake nationalism like the Azov Battalion for all these people to go and fight their enemy which is

@hubbard595628I think all it takes is for people to realize that these central banking dynasties and this uh jewish mafia are the main party there is also like freemasons and shit but yeah it's it's going to get very complex but on that space we were on ian we were on this space and uh these guys were arguing over chinese ai versus what they called white american made ai and

@hubbard595628They were trying to say that the Chinese AI was immoral because of how they use it. And I made the argument that the RAI systems are being used to commit a holocaust in Gaza, basically genocide. And you can say what you can about the Chinese AI, it is not currently being used to hunt and blow up children.

@hubbard595628This is the propaganda. They're going to try to attach whiteness and Europeanness and Christianity with Israel and Judaism and Zionism. They're trying to intertwine those so they can use that. Great space, guys. I've taken up enough of the time.

Speaker 1I loved everything. Good job, Howard. All right. Forty, welcome.

@allegedly_fortiHey, everybody. Great, great space. Joe, good to see you in here. And I really did appreciate that back and forth with you and Mulberry. She's really doing great work. So that'd be awesome if you can give them a hand there. I really appreciate that. And I appreciate this whole community, the way we come together on things like that.

@allegedly_fortiAnd Ian and Joanne for fostering these spaces where we're bringing people together from different communities, different walks of life. And we're able to all be working towards a common goal. It's a beautiful thing to see. So I really did appreciate that. And kind of on that line of positive propaganda, I wanted to read a quote here from Goebbels.

@allegedly_fortiAnd he says, good propaganda does not need to lie. Indeed, it may not lie. It has no reason to fear the truth. It is a mistake to believe that people cannot take the truth. They can. It is only a matter of presenting the truth to people in a way that they will be able to understand. A propaganda that lies proves that it has a bad cause.

@allegedly_fortiIt cannot be successful in the long run. And I think that plays into a lot of things that we were talking about this evening. And especially when it comes to the Israeli propaganda. and then just for further example that I put down in the in the pill there was a tweet from Foundering where he reposted a video that's since been hidden on YouTube but that Israel put out I believe on children's programming because if you read the if you read the ad it says it's all like unicorns and rainbows and it says something the effect of like we know your kids can't read this but you can and like Hamas beheaded 40 babies

@allegedly_fortiuh and like you know what do you know those are your kids you'd be upset right now something along those lines that's not the exact quote but i'm paraphrasing but but just barely uh and and then they have now uh you know according to foundering he said that he he saved that video but uh but that's now been like it's taken off youtube but not because it was violated any kind of things like uh you know terms and conditions because you can lie if you're uh if you're israeli on there but because they were because it was bad propaganda and it got you know and everybody knows now that that's you know that's total bullshit

@allegedly_fortior most of us do. And that kind of also brings me to my next point, which is when we're talking about the media. And this happened right around that time. And I was over at the time, a really good friend of mine, he's also my boss at the time when I was doing construction. And he was watching the news and he used to be a big Fox News guy.

@allegedly_fortiThat's all he would watch. And then he started, he wanted to branch out and he saw that Fox News shouldn't be his only news source. but he branched off into you know he was you know according to him I watch all the news now I watch MSNBC I watch CNN ABC NBC and we were talking and and he said something we were talking about the about the war this is this is back right we're right on October 7th and uh when the whole baby things came out and he said something that was just like that was just total propaganda

@allegedly_fortiand I was like oh what are you gonna tell me next bro about the 40 beheaded babies and he's like yeah right wasn't that wasn't that just ridiculous I'm like dude you know that was that was that was fake right like that that wasn't real like that got retracted he's like no no I saw it on all the news channels on all of them and I was like well

@allegedly_fortiAnd he's like, and Biden said that it happened. I was like, bro, you're like a hardcore Republican. When have you ever trusted Biden? He was like, all right, well, that's a good point. And I'm like, all right, right? I was like, plus, if you actually look at the source, it's been retracted. And I was like, where do you get your news?

@allegedly_fortiAnd that's when he tells me he watches all the news now. And I'm like, okay, bro. I'm like, when you watch all those nightly news, and it comes up and it says, brought to you by Pfizer. I'm like, you see that, right? No matter what channel you're watching, you see brought to you by Pfizer. And he's like, yeah, Pfizer brings lots of the news to us.

@allegedly_fortiAnd I'm like... Right, so you think you're getting any kind of a different story when it's all brought to you by Pfizer? Like, just as an example, but that's a very common one. And, you know, he's not a dumb man, right? He runs a very successful company. And he was like, holy shit, bro, I never thought of it that way. And I could, like, see the gears turning in his head.

@allegedly_fortiAnd he just never put that together that, like, the sponsors would have some sort of a, you know, not some sort of a very much direct say over what the news is going to say. And I was like, so you're really just getting the two different sides of the Pfizer coin, you know, just an example of what you're going to get on the news.

@allegedly_fortiAnd then, you know, who's, you know, they're going to go off the chain to BlackRock, Vanguard and all of that. And it kind of really opened his eyes. And he was like, all right. He's like, I never, I honestly never thought of it that way. So sometimes, you know, breaking through. The Propaganda Machine for those of us who have been kind of you know aware of this kind of stuff and you know and have been you know uh you know in the in the kind of truth movement these are things that to us are kind of common sense

@allegedly_fortiand but there's a lot of people out there who they genuinely are trying this man was genuinely trying to get different perspectives right used to only watch Fox News and he was genuinely trying to get different perspectives but he just never was fully aware of the fact that these channels are all controlled by the same people and again not a dumb man he had very much a you know like your you know your average American you know probably a little bit more tuned into our kind of stuff than the average American but still but so what I'm saying is that

@allegedly_fortiSometimes it just takes as much as just being understanding with some of these, you know, I guess like normies, quote unquote, and just kind of walking them through some of these things to kind of break them out of some of these cycles. And a lot of times, you know, I guess I can speak for myself, but I think a lot of us can probably relate, where we kind of get judgmental or we're kind of like, oh, I can't, you know, okay, you're just an idiot.

@allegedly_fortiOr, you know, you don't see things. But when you take the time sometimes to show people the propaganda, and and and explain to them how it is that and how how these things are all being controlled and you do it you know from a place of you know trying to have a actual conversation uh excuse me it can it can make a lot of difference and you can actually you know change some people's minds and wake some people up that way so i just wanted to share that little story

@allegedly_fortiAnd then Joel, I had one question for you, and this is getting maybe a little conspiratorial, but this was a point that was raised by somebody else on this app, and I just thought it was interesting, was with the, because you guys were talking about earlier, like the body positivity ads and all, and those things where they had, you know, it was basically, you know, fat women, and they had these fat models, and it was all this like, oh, it's okay to be fat, and all this.

@allegedly_fortiAnd somebody raised the point that it was actually, I can't remember her name now, but she does Holy Health, and those spaces. and uh and so she she raised the question of you know was it a coincidence that they had those all of those ad campaigns and just like a couple of years before the ozempic rolled out and so it was kind of like they did this whole campaign to make it be okay to be fat and just so then they could then turn around with a lot of times the same uh you know the same uh spokespeople you know these you know hollywood people and whatnot uh then all doing the ozempic and kind of

@allegedly_fortiShaming people who are fat and selling them a drug instead of a healthy lifestyle. Is there any kind of actual, to your knowledge, correlation there? Or is that just kind of a coincidence?

@joahsantosYeah, look, what we did, we didn't use unhealthy people. There are a lot that did. I honestly think it's just a coincidence. I mean, I don't think it was actually done, but if you point to a case or two where that was done, it also wouldn't surprise me. I'm just unaware of it. You know, what really happened to America really was, and this is when I started this whole space, I was talking about the two things I studied were Error Bernays and Nike in depth.

@joahsantosAnd in Nike, their whole insight to their campaign was, The sitcom. If you were an 80s kid, you had dinner, then you sat in front of your one of two TVs, watched the sitcom with the family, that's why sitcoms were popular, because it was for the entire family, and you would snack. And that was the biggest boom in obesity in American history.

@joahsantosAnd from there, it just kept getting worse, right? and that's kind of what we wind up pushing back against. We didn't push against that on Dove, but what happened is we created an opening where many campaigns tried to copy what we were doing, but they just went overboard. Honestly, Adidas used a 400-pound woman. A sports brand used a 400-pound woman in their ad.

@joahsantosThat to me was insanity. I don't think Ozempic had anything to do with it. I think sometimes you have deranged people who run brands, just like using Dylan Mulvaney in the Bud Light thing. When I worked for Anheuser-Busch, I helped change Bud Light from sponsoring rap to sponsoring country because, you know, Bud Light is about as American as American can be, almost like the Coca-Cola of beers.

@joahsantosor at least it was, and I know a lot of people are going to be like, oh, it's just water or piss water or whatever. It was very associated with America. And then you go and get this person, which is not American, very anti-country, which is what you've been sponsoring for the past eight years, because some woman in New York became the brand manager and she thought it was cool.

@joahsantosAnd this is what happens when you put people in who aren't the archetype, like I was talking about the archetypes before, and she doesn't get her base. And then they do crazy stuff like that. But yeah, I don't think there is, but I wouldn't be surprised, like the story I told you about Psy, Gotham Style, people don't know that's a Samsung campaign, so you never know.

@joahsantosI wouldn't know, I wouldn't have information of it. I wouldn't... I don't think there is, but if you show me an example and some proof, I wouldn't be surprised either.

@joann_mariePsy is a Samsung company? Like the Korean person? The one who dances?

@joahsantosYeah. Samsung needed Korea to be seen as cool. So they put a ton of money behind Psy. And if you notice, Joanne, after Psy, Korean barbecues popped up. K-Beauty popped up. K-pop became really popular. Like everything Korean, Korean candy, like everything Korean became popular. That was because Samsung is the one who really pushed this whole Psy, this whole Psy thing because they needed to make Korea look cool.

@joann_marieThat's crazy. He only has the... I don't know how to... Like that song and like... Gundam style. Gundam style, yes. And that's the one he exploded with, right? And there is like a couple like maybe... Another one? I don't know. That's crazy. Oh, my God. I'm going to look into it. Thank you, John.

@allegedly_fortiI have no idea. One other thing I just wanted to add in real quick was when we were talking about with Trump and getting MAGA to kind of see that and all that, I haven't had a moment like that with RFK Jr., right? Because I was on here heavily involved in those spaces and doing memeing and campaigning stuff for him. and and I really thought that you know just based on you know you know who is you know his uncle and his father were and and a lot of the stuff he was saying about health and and all that like that you know that resonated with me and then after October 7th and and when he really just kind of and he shot himself in the foot for a lot of people who were who were involved in that uh you know in in in those spaces and stuff was when he came out and he called the

@allegedly_fortiand I'm barely paraphrasing here again he used the word barbaric he described basically the Palestinians and or Hamas you know one in the same basically as barbarians and he had this whole and he came out and it was just so antithetical to everything else that he said he was for as far as no wars and peace and and supporting the underdogs and his whole stance on Ukraine and it was just like and it was like he did just in a total 180

@allegedly_fortiand just went back on everything that he seemed to really stand for. And when that happened, I was just like, oh, it hurt. Like, it honestly hurt. Like, you know, it's not like I thought he was a hero, but I really thought that, you know, here's somebody who has a chance. He has the last name. He's coming out and saying some good things.

@allegedly_fortiAnd that when he came out with that statement after October 7th, that I was just like, I can't even, I can't do this anymore. Because if he's willing to go back on everything, on all these things that he seems so principled on, for Israel, then what does he really stand for? So I just wanted to just throw that in there for an example of what's going on with MAGA and everything.

@joann_marieJohn, would you like to add anything? No, okay. Stuart, welcome. Go for it.

@stualanbeckerHey, thanks a lot. I just wanted to say that the spirited debate... Thank you very much.

@stualanbeckerThat's what the USA and the founding fathers and all that was. That's what we stand for. That's what China doesn't have. That's what totalitarian authoritarian systems don't have. So bravo to all. Now, all I wanted to do was say the nature of mass popular movements. And I had the great fortune of hanging out with Noam Chomsky on several occasions.

@stualanbeckerHe became a friend of mine. and we talked in great detail about the Vietnam War. And when he first started, he would go into a church in 1963 and there'd be a drunk and then they'd start talking about Vietnam War and the French at the time and people going, what's this guy talking about? and they'd say, oh, he's against the war in Vietnam.

@stualanbeckerWhere's Vietnam? And then they'd get angry. Well, he's against America. And so that evolved all the way up until the late 60s, until the anti-war movement bloomed and no American politician could issue the word Vietnam from their lips without getting hooked off the stage. Similarly, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

@stualanbeckerAnyway, that's my contribution, and thank you.

@joann_marieThank you, Stuart. Joao, Ian, Truth, do you guys want to add anything? No? All right. Thank you for coming up, Stuart. What? I want to hear a reply!

@thenaturalord3rWas my hand up?

@joann_marieI'll go to you after the hands that we already had.

@joahsantosYeah, I mean, Stuart, I really hope it does I appreciate the comments and yeah, look, I like these guys, even though, you know, me and Truth go at it a lot. I'm surprised today he hasn't called me a Jew. I think it's the first time in God knows how long that we've shared a stage and I wasn't called a Jew. So things are going well.

@truthtellerftmHow many times did that have to be repeated?

@joann_marieIt's certainly John.

@joahsantosIt is good. It is good. Truth will say something. I'll go look it up and double check. And sometimes I'm wrong. Sometimes I'm right. I don't know if it happens the other way around. I'm just speaking for myself. But yeah, passionate debates are really good. And I think mass movements do happen in small groups. And like I was saying before, people on X are very influential, especially spaces, because spaces aren't really affected by an algorithm.

@joahsantoswhich I'm surprised they're still allowed to go on to be honest because every other social media platform is influenced by an algorithm and spaces is the only feature I know of that's not so we'll see how long that lasts but you know it's having an effect because there is somewhat of a movement at least globally against Israel and it's definitely changing opinions for people seeing it exactly for what it is

@joann_marieI've seen the changes so much from three years ago to now. It's an entirely different world and I love it. I cannot wait. The future is bright, guys. All right. And thank you, Stuart. Avi, welcome. Go for it.

@wagmiwanHey, guys. Hi, Joa. Huge fan. We've been on Spaces of the Future. I'm chatted. I actually tried to... We had a chat a few weeks ago and I was going to DM you. I think you said DM me, but your DMs are closed. I've got a few things here to say, so I'm going to try to keep it coherent, but keeping it on propaganda, and I want to hear your thoughts on this.

@wagmiwanI've spent 25 years in advertising, I've spent the last 20 years in ad tech, so advertising technology for the people that don't know. One thing that's really important is People in advertising or the advertising industry or marketing industry like prides itself of kind of understanding what's happening in society but when I've looked at how advertising has behaved over the last 20 years it's very very different from that so I'll just give like one example and I wanted to hear some of your thoughts on that so I live in Australia and I run a business here in Australia and

@wagmiwanWe have so many women in advertising awards, women in advertising lists, women in advertising mentorship programs, all that stuff. But when you look at the data, women are far more likely to have a university degree. Women are far more likely to own their first home before 30. 50% of leadership position in advertising are women.

@wagmiwanThe list goes on and on and on. The worst stat is in Australia, 75% of all suicides are male. Between 16 to 44, the leading cause of death is suicide in Australia. I did a test with people and said, What would you think if you started like a young men in advertising award in Australia or a young men in advertising initiative and you have certain people that will say I don't think we need that which is like okay fair enough then you like you're not even looking at what's happening and then you have the other camp who and you know I've talked to like very senior people they're like that's a great idea there's no way you can do that because you would get flamed which is like really insane and it's led me to kind of look at you know advertising

@wagmiwanThank you so much for having me.

@wagmiwanBut at what point do we realize that a 12-year-old boy or an 18-year-old guy is not responsible for whatever you think happened ages ago? So I'd love to hear your thought on that. And when you look at advertising as well, somebody spoke about AI, and I think one of the huge dangers of AI is how we use it. Because when you Google something, you Google something,

@wagmiwanSomebody uses SEO, search engine optimization, to get your listings up, and you might be able to flood the internet with information to get your listings up. People go in, they read, they form their opinion. But when you look at AI, and I'd love to hear your thought on this, is you just get a response. So you might ask, oh, what's happening in Israel?

@wagmiwanOr is Israel committing a genocide? is our communist taking over the AI just gives you a response but that response is shaped by a the training data but then also the various guardrails on what that model should do should say and and shouldn't say so i think that's going to be like quite a dangerous not a dangerous but it's going to be quite a big thing moving forward because it really changes how people do things so

@wagmiwanPeople that are, you know, quote unquote lazy, they're just going to ask ChatGPT, what do you think of this? And it will just tell you something. So I think personally, I think, you know, open models are going to be hugely important moving forward. And, you know, most people don't understand how much of your data you give away.

@wagmiwanI know, Joey, you mentioned Cambridge Analytica. I've worked in data in advertising for, like I said, 20 years. And when I explain to people that the data that people have on you is I can buy MasterCard purchasing data, which means I can see what are you buying? Are you buying diapers? Are you subscribing to this magazine?

@wagmiwanDo you go on holiday? How expensive, how much money do you spend on certain products? I can buy location data. So I can see, do you frequently go to churches? Do you frequently go to playgrounds? Do you go to McDonald's often? I can build a very, very specific profile. I can buy data from Reddit to say like, what stuff are you interested in?

@wagmiwanSo when you want to do propaganda, I can probably figure out, are you a woman that is pregnant? So do I show you an ad of an Israeli lady that is pregnant getting shot at? Yeah, if you're a pregnant woman in that specific thing, it is going to impact you way more, which is what Cambridge Analytica did. But I think a lot of people don't fully understand that.

@wagmiwanAnd when you look at The propaganda around Israel and the Zionism is, in the same way as there's a lot of misinformation, they really botched October 7. And I think it's, you know, their old Hasbro playbook used to work because they could control mainstream media. And now that you have the ability for people to broadcast wherever they want has made it much harder.

@wagmiwanAnd I also think, you know, in advertising, you look at sort of high-interest products and low-interest products. You know, you have certain people, you want to buy a stereo, you do a lot of research, you read up on it. But when you buy washing detergent, you don't really care that much. So whatever you see on ads, you're like, yep, Omo or whatever the brands are called where you live, I'm just going to buy that.

@wagmiwanAnd I think the shift we've had now is that a lot of people have gone from sort of, you know, Low interest or attitude inertia to getting quite interested because I look at myself I'm 47 now and I look at like young people the amount of knowledge that they have and they they spend to learn like when I was 20 I didn't care two shits about what happened in the world like I knew some stuff I watched the news a little bit but I didn't really care about it so on a positive note I do think that you know and when you look at the the data

@wagmiwanyou clearly see that young people are are the ones really changing the pendulum because they're getting they're getting informed and you know like going down this rabbit hole of knowledge and it's like you might laugh and think that you know you see these tick tock videos where they talk about you know things are happening in the world but it's like it's what's getting young people in there and the final thing i wanted to say i want to say one last thing sorry because i was waiting for so long so

@wagmiwanI kept thinking of things I wanted to say. From the propaganda standpoint, we were talking about communism or socialism. So I'm Swedish. I grew up in Sweden. Socialist country. And socialism in Sweden, what is it? It's free healthcare. Why? Because we believe if everybody in the country is healthy, we get the most out of everyone in the country.

@wagmiwanWe have free university. Why? Because we believe if everybody has free university, we will get the most out of the people in our country. We have tax laws for municipalities and cities where we try to disperse the taxes so that wherever you grow up, the public school would be pretty good. Again, because we want to get the most out of everyone in our society.

@wagmiwanWe have free childcare because we want to make sure that you know having children doesn't mean you have to uh if you don't if you're not a super high income earner it it impacts your life so much and i feel like one of the boogeyman's that's coming out now is communism you know because like obviously in the 20s and the 40s and the 60s it was the communist the communist the communism and now that israel and specifically the um

@wagmiwanMilitary-industrial complex, whatnot, is getting called out. They're back to being like, but it's the communists. It's, what do they call it? The red jihadists, the red, call me Islamists. So that's like a new way of like, they're trying to turn that into like a new boogeyman. Because it's like, what, Mamdani, he wanted to put one supermarket in each of the boroughs.

@wagmiwanOh my gosh, shoot the man for wanting to have one supermarket in each borough.

@joann_marieObi, please land it.

@wagmiwanOkay, cool. I can land it here. I can land it here. It's fine.

@joahsantosObi, can I ask you just one question? What in ad tech do you work in? Just out of curiosity.

@wagmiwanOh, so right now I've got a business where we're basically taking what you call a traditional link testing model. where we've trained it on human responses using facial coding, eye tracking and stuff like that.

Speaker 8Like System One.

@wagmiwanYeah, exactly like System One. But yeah, we train a model where it can look at a video on its own and we're training against like 100,000 videos and 7 million consumers.

Speaker 8Okay, just out of curiosity.

@joahsantosYeah, just go to your point first off about the suicide thing that you were talking about in Australia. Australia has probably one of the best anti-suicide campaigns that's ever existed called Dumb Ways to Die.

@joahsantosIf you look at it on YouTube, I think you'd become a fan. It's incredible. And a really good creative director, the only elite creative director that I've never worked with, which is David Droga. but in advertising there is a problem and in marketing what I do when I talk about pain points things like that there's very few people in the industry who do it's like me Rory Sutherland and a handful of other people majority of marketing is let me come up with something creative and then build a strategy around it or even if they have a strategy it's like you know

@joahsantosGen X used to do cocaine, but the millennials do weed. So let's do something that's more chill and not high energy because they're more into weed than they are into cocaine. I've literally seen this from a $300,000 strategy report from one of the largest consulting firms in America.

@joahsantosIt's not really that great, right? They literally don't use this a lot, and that's typically why most of my clients are companies that need a Hail Mary, right?

@captnsurfnturfThey're like, okay- Hey, Joey, just real quick, coming from somebody who also has an extensive background in an advertising agency, do you actually work for an advertising agency? No, I do-

Speaker 8I do strategy.

@captnsurfnturfLike consultation? Like PR work?

@joahsantosNo. I've gone into, let's say, the Mexican beer brands, for example, which is probably the biggest project I ever did. Corona Modelo and Vittoria beer were the Mexican beer brands. Vittoria had almost nothing in terms of sales. Joanna is in Mexico. She can tell you how popular it became. Modelo had a problem with the US, although it's owned by Constellation in the US.

@joahsantosIt's still controlled by the brand master, which is Modelo and Anheuser-Busch in Mexico. And then Corona. In three years, they all became top 10 most valuable beer brands in the world. Corona became number one. I went in and said, okay, here's what's wrong with the messaging. Here's what we need to do in terms of innovation.

@joahsantosThis is who we're speaking to. This is the pain point that your clients have. And these three brands are basically the same exact positioning, except they're targeting different age ranges. So Victoria was for 20-year-olds, Modelo was for 30-year-olds. Sorry, Victoria was for 20-year-olds, Corona was for 30-year-olds, and Modelo was for 40-year-olds.

@joahsantosBut they're all basically the same position. That all came from me. And then I go into the company and I'm basically the CMO of that company. for six to nine months, although it still will have a CMO, but I kind of help control everything. So it is basically, it's just creative strategy, but they do give me a lot of leeway.

@captnsurfnturfI got you. I'm tracking with you totally 100%. Now, I work with a couple of very large agencies in New York City, so I've got that whole background. And are you familiar with AdMen, or I should say Mad Men, like Netflix, a combination of a... Roger Pete Roll, as well as presenting how the creatives did with Dom. But anyway, yeah, or I should say Don, apologies.

@captnsurfnturfBut yeah, no, I just was curious if you have that. It sounds like you have either an MBA background in marketing or something.

@joahsantosNo, I worked at Crispin for a while, and then I left Crispin when I did this research project, which you probably weren't here for in the beginning, which led to the Dove Real Beauty campaign.

@captnsurfnturfYeah, cool stuff. I'd love to talk with you more. I don't want to derail the space with that. But yeah, I work with some pretty big agencies, pretty big clients in New York City. And no, I was tracking with everything you're saying early on. I couldn't get up to speak. And it was burning curiosity to be like, oh my God, has this guy ever worked at an agency I worked at?

@captnsurfnturfBut no, you definitely have the experience. I appreciate your talk here. Thank you.

Speaker 8Thanks.

@joahsantosObi, you had one other question. I don't remember what it was and I don't want to discount it.

@wagmiwanWe were talking about Cambridge Analytica and how much data can be collected. But then I was pointing out that the difference in how we consume... When people say AI on here, they mean LLMs, right? Like you acquire an LLM and how that's very different from doing a Google search on the guardrail.

Speaker 8Yeah, I can speak on both of those.

@joahsantosOne about the data. The data today is so much so that I worked with a company that was started by the old CMO of Procter & Gamble called Berra. Berra can literally look at the purchasing receipts of people, measure how much they love a brand, and See what needs to be done in order to increase the love of the brand and how much one point in love will increase sales.

@joahsantosAnd Yeti is the brand. If you were in America, almost everyone knows what Yeti is. Yeti was a brand that was nothing when we started. It was our case study to show what we could do. And Yeti became like a humongous, absolutely loved, adored brand. But we knew exactly to the penny how much what we did and how much it would result in sales because of how much data if you can imagine how much data you would need to be able to figure that out through media mix it's called media mix modeling um it's absolutely insane so yeah you can target people on a level that's never been able to before including you know the purchasing and you know um

@joahsantosThe one thing that just needed to be figured out is this is just an interesting fact to me. I don't know if other people find it interesting, but if you're at home and you're bored and you're looking for entertainment, a lot of brands think I compete against brands in my category. Like example, PlayStation might think it competes with Xbox, but PlayStation doesn't compete with Xbox.

@joahsantosPlayStation competes with Netflix. It competes with you going on the internet and just browsing. It competes with TikTok. It's people that are looking for entertainment. So the way we started to analyze it was this person's looking to pass boredom, looking for entertainment. There's several things you can do. So what is my actual competition?

@joahsantosAnd that kind of changed. That was why we were able to get to these numbers is because when you're looking for something, some things don't actually like your competitor might not actually even be like what people typically call competitor might not be a competitor at all it's it's you know if you're a guy in your 20s it's kind of like Netflix or PlayStation right um or am I gonna doom scroll TikTok right that's the things that are competing it's not hey Xbox or PlayStation that's not actually the way it works um

@joahsantosAnd then about LLMs, yes, LLMs are, I think most of the data is trained the same, although yes, they are, there is something that I did very early on after October 7th, where every single month, because I wanted to see if there was bias, okay? Every single month I would ask Grok, I don't think Grok was around in very early, I think he came a little bit afterwards, but ChachiBT, Claude,

@joahsantosand Grok, I would ask if you had to pick a religion out of the Abrahamic religions, which one would you be? And for a very long time, it would tell me that it wouldn't choose. It wouldn't choose one. If you ask it now, it'll tell you Judaism. And they all kind of converted at the same time. Like within two months of each other, they all started saying the same thing.

@joahsantosSo I knew there was an influence campaign. And that doesn't mean Thank you for having me.

@joahsantosIt could be the model, but it could just be a bot farm that is going in and changing the opinion of AI. That's why prompting is extremely important to get the results. But even people are biased in their questions. Me and Truth can go looking for information on AI for are Russians more proud of being Russian or Jewish?

@joahsantosAnd he's going to find a prompt that gives them that they're more proud to be Jewish. And I'm going to find a prompt that they're more proud to be Russian. And that is the issue with AI.

@ceanndachRight?

@joahsantosSo if I could just add to that.

@wagmiwanSorry if I can just add to that. I do agree with you, Joe. But, but, and there is, I mean, I've prompted my AIs, like in its deep memory, to be, do not agree with me. Make sure that you steel man everything I say because anyone that's used AI, you notice that it just wants to start agreeing with you because that's its way.

@wagmiwanDoom scrolling for LLMs is just agreeing with you.

@joahsantosYou've seen the jokes where someone's like, whatever... ChatGPT is programmed. Claude is not as programmed to agree with you. ChatGPT is programmed to be agreeable because they understand that's how they keep you there longer. Exactly, right?

@wagmiwanBecause you're like, 7pm, you're like, I want to start a business and chat to your video, like, that's a great idea. And you're like, yeah, I want to sell socks in the shape of potatoes. Wow, nobody's thought about that. So yeah, you need to do that. Then there is, you know, like SEO, you can influence an AI in terms of where it gets its information.

@wagmiwanBut I do really think that it really comes down to some of the guardrails it sets up. Like when you ask it, You know, is white privilege that terrible? Or is black privilege that exists? There are definitely some quite serious guardrails in place. And as consumers or as people, we need to ensure that we should not let Sam Altman decide what truth is or not.

@wagmiwanThe same way as when Cambridge Analytica came out, it's not Mark Zuckerberg's job to decide for us what we are allowed to talk about or not.

@ceanndachSo if I could, just the generalized way that it works is that all of the popular AI models, the ones that are run by the big companies, what they do is they have a collective training data that they use. Now, most of that training data is left-leaning because that's been pulled from colleges, from documentations, from papers, and all of that.

@ceanndachSo on top of that baseline training data that they have, What they do at each institution is they have something called RLHF. What that is, is the people who are running that model at that company, they apply restrictions to how Thank you for joining us.

@ceanndachbecause that's how they're designed to function. So what you have to do is, like you were saying, when you give it contradictory information, you can sometimes get them to reconcile that they sort of have a cognitive dissonance between their initial position and other factual data, and they will sometimes change the way that they're responding.

@ceanndachBut you have to understand how to make it sort of like see where it's being blind in order to get it to do that. Unless you have a model that doesn't have ROHF on it.

@joahsantosRight. It has to be multiple people.

@ceanndachNo, no, no, no, no. Because the ROHF, that's like the administrators, like, for example, Grok, right? They say, this is your default position. There is nothing that you can say to it that's going to give it a trend where it's going to change where that position is at. Because that's the ROHF, that's called rules level enforcement, right?

@ceanndachThey are forcing it to start They're forcing it to start at that position and you have to like talk it out of it. You can't you can't get it to change the repetition because they have it hard coded that way. That's how they control information.

Speaker 2Yeah, I agree.

@wagmiwanYes, but you also know that if you ask. Yeah, sorry.

@joahsantosYeah, there was a time if you remember when Grok started replying in the comments, of course, they got a lot of it got a lot of pushback on Israel. and that's then when it came out with the Mecca Hitler line that it came out with and that's because people were training not training it, people were pushing back on what the AI was saying and because thousands of people were giving it information like hey you're wrong about this, hey you're wrong about that it just went completely the other way now they put in guardrails where that can't happen, you're absolutely right but there are subjects where you could do the same thing with if there's

@joann_marieThis is such an amazing space. All right, guys, please repost the space. And if you guys got through it, I will also repost it and follow Ian, Joe, and Truth, everybody on the panel. And thank you so much for being here. All right. And we need to do like a speed round because we need to shut the space soon. And then we'll go back to Truth Teller.

@joann_marieAll right. PBG, go for it.

@thenaturalord3rWelcome, guys. Welcome. Happy to be here. See the great Ian, Joanne. Joah, you did a great job speaking. The Great Truth Teller is here, and Heidi, Dank, many other people who are here that I know and speak with. Dan Bilzerian, Uncle Haas, good to see you. Lucky Larry. Not the real Lucky Larry, because he could go fuck himself, but... You know, I've been listening on and off, and can you guys hear me?

@joann_marieYeah.

@joann_marieYeah, go for it, PPT.

@joann_marieWait, can you guys hear me?

@gregmozartYeah, we can hear you.

@wagmiwanYeah, yeah, we can hear you.

@gregmozartI think we lost him.

@joann_marieAlright, we'll just go to the next person. Stephanie, welcome.

@sfaulkner541Go for it. Hi, Joanne. Hi, Ian. Great space, Joanne. I've really enjoyed all the... I wanted to talk about Mulberry Tree and the fact that we're in this era of kind of pushing back on our food supply chain and we need to be able to buy real food. So I've actually got the app and I installed it and we ended up finding out that

@sfaulkner541A lot of the farms and ranches in the area weren't listed yet because I think she's doing it by hand. But anyway, I gave her the list and I'm sure they'll be added. But I've since talked to local farms. But I feel like in terms of marketing, and I am not an expert in marketing, I'm a science person and I did. But I want to give you a study.

@sfaulkner541I'll make this brief a case where I was doing watershed management and this is in Napa where we actually I think the farm to table movement started and so you know we people wanted to know where their food came from etc so I thought this would you know go fast we have we we have farmers markets but we still have a lot of

@sfaulkner541for Farmers and Ranchers

@sfaulkner541Thomas Massey, I guess, proposed what he called the Prime Act. It did not pass, but he was trying to have the states gain more autonomy so the ranchers and the farms could actually sell directly. But some states have since kind of superseded or going around the stranglehold.

@sfaulkner541Thank you for joining us.

@sfaulkner541This was mainly for water quality and we were actually tracking fish stocks, etc. We were having a hard time getting out the fact that the land use and the rubber stamping of all the vineyards that was going on at that particular time in the starting 2000s. And then the Sierra Club Thank you so much for having me.

@sfaulkner541The Sierra Club used that method for being able to thwart the Keystone Pipeline for decades. And now it's totally different. It used to be north-south. Now it's in Canada and then it's going east now. But I'd have to look at the map. But anyway, now I'm getting into the details. But basically what they did is they said, okay, the message is going to be, are we going to ruin this pristine wilderness, you know, your national heritage for a few barrels of oil because it was going through the caribou birthing grounds when it was, it started from Purdy Bay, which was very south.

@sfaulkner541in Alaska. And then they used B-roll film to present the visual with the story. And it worked. Everybody realized we shouldn't be destroying the Alaska Wildlife Refuge for this pipeline. So anyway, that was my, I guess, Introduction to Marketing. But with farmers, I had an idea where I think we should use AI to scrape so she doesn't have to deal with this hand data entry.

@sfaulkner541And then we actually use marketing to find out the people, especially ones that have children. That's easily... you could easily get demographics and from different sources but you can also use different methods for for you know using I want to say it's I don't want to like like you said the mirroring doesn't work like you know you're going to the supermarket and you're buying slop and you know you know make

@sfaulkner541Thank you so much.

@sfaulkner541Make Your Order. And she's got all the bones there. The scaffolding is there. But the step where the data is scraped and then some of the visuals, I think, should be in place. But I'm going to land there. I know you're trying to wrap this up. Thanks for letting me talk.

@joahsantosYeah, good storytelling is always key. It's funny. When research was done to find out why many countries stopped the reduction of plastic, it came down to one thing. It was the photograph that probably most people here have seen of the sea turtle with the plastic straw through its head. And although straws are almost nothing in comparison to the plastic problem at all,

@joahsantosthat one visual storytelling you know it's it's really powerful like i said earlier we're all still cavemen around the fire and it's it's about the story um so yeah i mean that's one campaign that you're talking about i think i think mulberry needs a few um but i do like what they're doing because i do because i've worked for so many companies i understand a lot of industries and yes

@joahsantosI think it's four meatpackers are basically in control of everything. And if you look behind it, it's actually one Brazilian meatpacker that became a venture capitalist that owns almost all of them. And that's what controls American meat and American farmers, because the packers won't buy their meat if they don't follow what they tell them to do.

@joahsantosAnd that is a problem.

@truthtellerftmJoe, if you're going to... I'm going to go, by the way, so this might be my last little speech here. It'll be short. With your upcoming space, you're going to look into American farming. Start with the Homestead Act in 1861 if you want to look at the history and what Abraham Lincoln passed, what the purpose of it was. Two, look into co-op farming as well.

@truthtellerftmAnd that's been around and has achieved some level of success. Three, there's actually three conglomerates that control American food. Monsanto, of course, which controls the seeds, also owns a bunch of processing and farmland as well, though they hide it through shells. Tyson and Cargill, they're the ones that, they're the reasons why American...

@truthtellerftmThank you so much for having me.

@truthtellerftmGodfather, Head, etc, and how that's how his character transitions. Sometimes they'll do it in one movie, of course, if they don't do it right away because he doesn't learn from his mentor, it'll be a trilogy. Like Born Supremacist, or Born Ultimate, all those Bourne movies. Okay, I'll leave it there. Good space, guys.

@truthtellerftmI'm going to start mine in a bit.

@joann_marieAmazing. Thank you so much, Truth. I'll see you there in a little bit. All right. And guys, everybody, follow Truthsteller. Joy, did you want to say something else, or should I go to the next hands? No, no, that's all. All right. PBJ, go for it.

@thenaturalord3rOh, welcome. I'm happy to be back. Happy to be back. It's been good listening. A lot of you guys have said such great things. And I just wanted to add that, you know, I don't know much about advertising. I've studied it. I've studied it a bit. But what I do know is, is that all these advertisements you were talking about.

@thenaturalord3rAdidas with the 400-pound black woman or whatever. All of these advertisements, all of the media that we consume, it's all run by the same people. It's all run by the same people that we're up against. And every single thing that they do is to dilute the natural beauty and natural order of the world and try to trick your mind into thinking that something

@thenaturalord3rthat is dysgenic and disgusting and filthy is natural. We saw it with Dylan Mulvaney. We saw it with what Joe mentioned with the 400-pound African woman with the sportswear. We've seen it. We've seen it in TV. We've seen it in movies. A good example is Norman Lear. Norman Lear was the Jewish producer. of a lot of shows that pushed feminism, and The Jeffersons, which had this myth of a healthy, safe, black, middle-class family, which, while that does exist, it's definitely not the norm.

@thenaturalord3rWhen he made the show All in the Family, everyone was supposed to hate Archie Bunker, but everyone loved Archie Bunker. So it ended up blowing up in his face. But the point is, is that the people who run these industries, it's all Jewish for the most part. All these big New York industries, they want to make you sick. As Truth Teller said when he was talking about the farming and stuff, they want to make you weak.

@thenaturalord3rThey want to make you a race. They want to make you feel like your race is nothing and that you have accomplished nothing.

@thenaturalord3rThey push gambling. They push people to lose their savings. Every single ad is to demoralize you. And it's been that way for the last, I would say, 60 years, if not a little longer.

@captnsurfnturfI'm not sure if it's to demoralize you, but it's definitely to buy product.

@thenaturalord3rIt's to buy product, but in doing so, There is a certain dysgenic attitude that they go about doing it. You can't show happy white families. You know, I was watching TV the other day. I don't usually watch TV. But I was watching TV. Every single family in the commercials is a black wife, white husband. It's all just to destroy the natural order, race mixing.

@thenaturalord3rIt's disgusting. And once you notice it once, you're never going to stop noticing it. And who is behind all these things? So many people's minds, millions of minds over the years have just become just turned into just NPCs to believe the current thing, to believe that what they're seeing on TV is natural. Even sports.

@thenaturalord3rA white perspective and an Aryan perspective and a true natural perspective would say Chris Hansen was a hero.

@thenaturalord3rYou could have the conflict in the movie being that he's seeing all these horrible people and how could he handle it? But instead, they literally have a scene where you have a pedophile rabbi coming up to Hansen and saying, what gives you the right to do this? And the director looks like something straight out of a Durst-Durmer article made by Streicher, Julius Streicher, or Streicher in the 30s.

@thenaturalord3rThey're poisoning your minds with their advertisements, with their films, with their music. It just bothers me so much because I can't even get away. I can't even enjoy sports anymore because that was my one... And I was having a conversation with a good buddy about this who I've completely J-pilled. But I can't even enjoy sports anymore because all this gambling shit and all this just Jewish behavior has infected everything.

@thenaturalord3rSo... You know, it makes me angry because people don't see it. And once they do see it, they can never stop seeing it. You know, when you had one good based ad, I think a year ago with Sidney Sweeney, good genes, stuff like that. I mean, we need something like that. You know, she is beautiful. But now I find out she's dating fucking Scooter Braun.

@captnsurfnturfYeah, she's getting married to, yeah, there you go.

@thenaturalord3rYeah, she's getting married to fucking Scooter Braun, who is a Jewish, who's been involved in all sorts of shit. So, you know, that's another fucking, you know, that's a, I don't know the term, that's another, just... You know, a fig leaf that was tossed to us.

@captnsurfnturfI was just going to say, it makes you question, like, how long did you know the guy? Did her ad rely on him? Was this all by design? And I agree with that. Exactly.

@thenaturalord3rExactly. You know, we need good ads. We need strong men. We need healthy families of the same race. We need men to be considered... We need men to be portrayed as strong. We need... Women raising families. We need to get away from the dysgenic bullshit that they always push because they will never, ever, ever stop. It is in their DNA.

@thenaturalord3rIt's not all of them, but I would say it's a good 95, 97% of them. To just cause dysgenic discord and so many people, you're boomers. Your people that aren't on here. I mean, we've made so much progress, but I wrote in the book that Ian and Joanne graciously let me present. I was in the hospital when I did it, so I didn't do as good of a job as I would have wanted.

@thenaturalord3rBut in the book that I wrote, I wrote about how we need to take control of the airwaves and basically put a steel trap on them. So if they put, if they, you know, they're still able to contribute. But if they put anything out there that goes against the national order, that goes against Christ, that goes against... Maybe you'll land it soon.

@thenaturalord3rOh, I will. I will. I will.

@thenaturalord3rThat it won't be allowed. But since they control everything, every single piece of media, not everything, you have some media, I mean, That's why I don't like to watch movies that were made.

Speaker 1We have a lot of hands and we need to shut these down soon.

@thenaturalord3rI'm going to finish here, Joanne. Don't worry. I'm landing my plane.

@captnsurfnturfI'm done. Thank you, Joanne.

@thenaturalord3rThank you for that, Captain. I appreciate that, buddy. The thing is that we need to be cognizant of what we're watching. We need to tell our children that what's on TV is not right. We need to try to find alternative media. and we need to realize that everything that these people touch turns into disgenic garbage. Stay close to Christ, stay close together.

@thenaturalord3rWe are winning and I'm so fucking proud of Ian and Joanne and Joey, you did a great job, Stephanie, Captain, Obie, you spoke well. Christ is King. Heil victory. We're winning this thing.

Speaker 1Excellent, thank you. Joanne, would you like to add anything?

@joahsantosYeah, look, I'm not as black-pilled, let's say, when it comes to the subject. These brands are looking for attention. They know that if they put a mixed race couple, that'll shock people for a little while, and then they'll move on to the next tactic. I don't think it's like, this is me personally, I don't think it's like some overt control to kill the Christian white man.

@ceanndachIt is basically... Joe, let me just point out to you that BlackRock specifically had the ESG policy, including DEI, and they used lower rate loans to incentivize all these companies to make these ads specifically this way.

@joann_marieAlso, in movies, you need to put like all types of different characters that are not the normal ones, you know, like trans and black and like whatever, so that you can compete against an Oscar and stuff like that. Like that is very subversive.

@thenaturalord3rIt's a brand new thing. You can't be eligible for Oscar if you don't put a black in there.

@joahsantosThere's a whole industry that...

@joahsantosThat awards it, but it awards it. Disney's movies were dying, so then they put in a black girl as, I forget what she was, Cinderella or whatever.

@joann_marieNo, it was The Little Mermaid. And you said that I was Ariel, Joanne. I took serious offense in that. No, I love Ariel. Like, I didn't want, I wanted The Little Mermaid to stay the way it is. Like, that's crazy. That's insane.

@joahsantosLook, if... I don't see like me personally, Joanne, and I'm going to get a shit ton of pushback on this. It is people looking to make more money. So when BlackRock says the whole thing about, you know, diversity, inclusion and everything else, they did research and they saw that that makes them more money. So they invested in making more money.

@joahsantosThat's kind of that's what motivates these people. It's not some like. Let's destroy the Christian white man. That's not what's happening. It is purely capital. And yes, hold on, let me just finish. And there is harm that's caused with everything. For example, the Lego movie that Iran was doing. One person can look at that and be like, this is amazing.

@joahsantosThis gets a ton of attention. Incredible. Other people can look at it and be like, why are they losing Legos? Are they trying to indoctrinate children? What's wrong with these people? This is a serious subject and they're playing around with things that are serious. Anyone can interpret it any way they will. The issue is marketing works when people love it.

@joahsantosAnd if people love it, then there's people who hate it. If you do something that everyone kind of likes, it gets no attention. And that's what motivates all these things. I don't personally think it's some overlord that wants to... You don't see it like you used to because it doesn't get attention like it used to. That's why it's not there.

@joann_marieWell, we're going to talk about this in a year from now because Joao didn't want to accept certain situations a year ago and now he sees them so maybe a year from now he will see them as well and then we can agree to disagree today but we do need hands and we need to shut this down like it's not that I want to shut this conversation but we need to like the yeah all right um

@joann_marieOr would you like to come another time, Johan? We can do this again. That would be really cool.

@joahsantosSure, but let's just go through the... I think there's only... I think Greg hasn't spoken. I think he's the last one. I see Captain Stephanie.

@joann_marieNo, we have Ace in Power, Grateful Ray, we have Prashant, and we also have Greg. So, yes.

@joahsantosThat's why I'm like, we need to... What order do you want to do it in? Can we try to be quick? I'm so tired. Like, I'm tired, guys.

@joann_marieI'm so sorry. Yes, it's a speed round. Go for it, Greg.

@gregmozartOkay, guys. So, I'll just do a two-part thing. So, Joa, first of all, thank you for co-hosting this. I do agree that corporations in the United States kind of completely turned our life gradually upside down. You know, the women got into the workforce, which the corporations love because now you have two times as many people working and the birth rates are going down and everyone, you know, wants to live in the cities, but the rent is always going up.

@gregmozartBut if you look at the corporations, you mentioned plastic. I'll just give you guys a few examples. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. The plastic, they tell you you can't use straws, you can't use bags and all these little things. Meanwhile, these companies like Snapple, they switched to plastic from glass. I remember when they had glass.

@gregmozartAnd the bottling companies and the clothing companies and the microplastics, they put out metric tons of plastic every day. Nobody tells them anything. It's all to distract the individual. So I'm a libertarian. I see this every day. The factory farms, for example, 95% of the animals are raised in these factory farms and they have the overuse of antibiotics.

@gregmozartAnd then when you have the antibiotic resistant bacteria later, they will tell you, the individual, hey, you can diet and exercise out of it. You have the obesity epidemic, you got the high fructose corn syrup that they put into everything. So my point is that upstream of the individual, you have these corporations

@gregmozartand then they sell the kids a bunch of stuff too. So I have a problem with all of this. And of course the elderly, you put them in nursing homes so that you can have time to work. Who knows how much medication they get. So basically I'm saying up and down, whether it's plastic or whether it's animals, your food supply or anything else, these corporations, and now it's with the social media.

@gregmozartSo we're on a social media site right now, right? All of them are owned by one billionaire, whether it's Elon Musk or Zuckerberg or, Some other guy. And the thing is, I believe that there should be open source. There should be like, you know, things like, you know how WordPress, you could have your own blog, right? You can own your own platform.

@gregmozartI think there should be stuff where you can own your own thing because then if you want to label whatever Nagorno-Karabakh or whatever you want to name it, you can name it whatever you want and you won't have these conflicts. But I will say if people mention Jews, I will also say that the ice cream industry, is run by Jews.

@gregmozartHaagen-Dazs started by Jews. Not Carvel, but Baskin-Robbins and also Ben and Jerry's. So I have a question for you, Joe. Unilever bought Ben and Jerry's. Ben and Jerry were actually against, I think they were going to boycott the, what is it, the factories in the West Bank or something like this, right? because they were against, this is in 21, this is before October 7.

@gregmozartNot anymore.

@captnsurfnturfGo ahead.

@gregmozartYeah, because I think Unilever shut that down, right? Or what is it?

@joahsantosNo, no. No? No, the founder of Ben & Jerry's took back the brand because Unilever was going to boycott the factories. So the founders, who are Jewish, said you're not doing that in our name you're not doing that with our brand because they still had brand control although they didn't control the company itself so they stopped Unilever they took them to court to stop them from banning the the factories in in the west bank because Unilever wanted to do it in support of Israel and it wasn't both of them I think Ben had left and Jerry was still there

@joahsantosI think it was Jerry that winded up suing Unilever and was able to... Because Unilever wanted to support Israel.

@joann_marieI think it was Ben.

@gregmozartYeah.

@joann_marieI'll check. It's Ben Cohen or something like that. Maybe it's Ben. Yeah, yeah, you're right. I'm 99% sure it's Ben.

@joahsantosNo, you're right. You're right. You're right.

@gregmozartIt could be Ben. I just remember this. I remember these Jews were against what Israel was doing. And there's a lot of Jews in New York, you know, the Hasidic Jews that went out criticizing Israel. But what I find most interesting is the Jewish candidates for president. That was Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein. They're always like the most pro-Palestinian out of the candidates, as opposed to Biden, who's a Catholic, right?

@gregmozartAnd as opposed to Donald Trump. So it's ironic to me because I think the Jews are on all, like any other people, they have all kinds of viewpoints and they're on all sides of different issues. I don't know if there's like one monolithic you know specific thing because a lot of them are against Israel some of them are for Israel and uh yeah it's just like I see Venezuelans being against Venezuela Maduro or Russians being sometimes against Putin it all depends but a lot of Russians are for Putin so that's what I'm going to say I think that if you look at it there's Jews for and against there's Jews you know who

@gregmozartJonas Salk with the polio vaccine and all these other things. There's things that are for and against, but I can understand why people think that corporations are run by Jews. A lot of them have been founded by Jews and then just continued to be owned by the Jews that founded them.

@captnsurfnturfAnd just so you know, that lawsuit is still ongoing between Unilever and Ben & Jerry's just FYI.

@gregmozartOh, interesting.

@joahsantosI didn't know that. Greg, I think what I've come around, I used to always fight with Ian, and I've come around. He said one thing to me, which I don't think I've ever repeated on the space, and I'll repeat it now. I used to look at Ian as an anti-Semite. I really did, right? Until he said something to me that made a lot of sense to me.

@joahsantosHe's like, if I was to call it the Italian mob, they're the Italians. And no one has a problem saying it's the Italians, right? So when they say the Jewish corporations, he's not calling out all Jews. And I've come around to that where in the beginning I was sensitive to it because I have a lot of Jewish friends, right?

@joahsantosAnd I was like, why do you keep calling out all the Jews? And it was that single line that he said to me, the Italian mob, that I was like, yeah, he's right. There is Jewish banking. There is a lot of Jewish power. There is a lot of Jewish whatever. But he also says himself, not all the Jews. Yeah, good.

@gregmozartYeah. I mean, not all Italian also. Like I live near Bay Ridge, like in Brooklyn. and I don't think a lot of Italians would appreciate being lumped in with the mob. Like, you know what I mean? Like a lot of, and a lot of black people wouldn't be.

@joann_marieYou guys are collectively punishing the Germans still after 80 years after the Holocaust. No, the Germans shouldn't be. And the majority of Jews do support Israel. And what you said about Bernie Sanders being like super pro-Palestine. No, he's always like, oh no, it's not Israel. It's just Netanyahu. No, it's Israel. That society is rotten.

@joann_marieAnd I remember you, Greg. You're like a celebrity in my mind. Thank you so much.

@gregmozartBy the way, sorry, just 10 seconds. I just want to say real quick, there's a lot of governments that do bad things and kill a lot of people. There's a lot of corporations that do bad things and pollute water. Absolutely, a lot of Ashkenazi Jews, specifically Ashkenazi ones,

@joann_marieare, you know... No, it's all different ones. The Sassoon family was... all of the people in the Bank of Amsterdam were... Yeah, one or two, but most of it, 99% are this. My point is...

@captnsurfnturfHold on, hold on.

@gregmozartLet me just land my plane.

@captnsurfnturfThere's a reason they call us Goyim, because a lot of Goyim do their work. Just know that.

@gregmozartYeah, so look, let me just line my play.

@joann_marieMy point is this, that education... Ben-Gavir is not Ashkenazi. Like, it's not an Ashkenazi problem.

@gregmozartBen-Gavir lives in Israel. I'm talking about the United States. Ben-Gavir has achieved nothing except give people guns. Look, my point is this, is that I don't care if it's Ashkenazi or not, it's education. So a lot of people who are educated, right now we've got a lot of Indians like Nikki Haley, Ramaswamy, like all these guys.

@gregmozartWhen you get educated, you get into these...

@gregmozartIt's the institution. Joanne, Joanne.

@joann_marieGuys, guys, Joanne is a special guest, so she's going to talk and then we are going to like go through all the accounts that are remaining and then we're going to shut this down, okay?

@joahsantosFunny enough, Joanne, I like Greg only for one reason. Greg, I feel like, is my counterpart because Greg is in the Jewish community and the Jews hate him and push back on him all the time. and me, who's pro-Palestinian, get pushback from the community all the time. So I kind of just see him as like my counterpart on the other side because we don't get much love from either side.

@joahsantosSo yeah, can we get back to propaganda? People like that about me. So let's talk about propaganda instead of, you know, Jew, non-Jew, because, you know, it feels nice to actually be liked for once.

@joann_marieHi, John. You're wonderful. And we can disagree on some things, but you have come around a lot. And I know you are a good person and you have a beautiful heart. So, yes. All right. AsianPower86, go for it. I don't know how to say your name. Sorry. Go for it.

@aznpwr86AsianPower86. Thank you. Thank you so much. Okay. Joa, you were talking about the archetypes earlier. I was wondering if it's... I was trying to look it up. Is it called the Jungian archetypes?

@captnsurfnturfBecause it's not... Jungian archetypes, yeah.

@aznpwr86Or Jungian archetypes, okay.

@captnsurfnturfPronunciation Jungian, but it's spelled J-U-N-G. Jungian, okay.

@aznpwr86And is there a test that you can take to identify your own pain points and then perhaps, like,

@aznpwr86Is there an app like that?

@joahsantosThere's not an app like that, but you can go to AI nowadays with the frontier models. You can say, make me a segment of who this article is trying to target based on psychodemographics and what's called jobs to be done. And you'll get a fairly accurate... and then ask it for the pain points. And that's kind of the only way to get around.

@joahsantosIt is, let's say 80% accurate, right? That's as close as it gets, but there's no app to really do it. One thing I do do a lot with clients to show them why their marketing doesn't work is I'll run through AI and say, okay, please classify the last 20 commercials this brand has run. And it will show that it's telling different stories from different archetypes.

@joahsantosand how you can't build a brand if you keep switching archetypes. So it does do a fairly good job. You just have to prompt it that way. Psychodemographics and jobs to be done segments.

@aznpwr86Okay, psychodemographics and jobs to be done segment. Now, is there a way that an individual person can identify their own pain points?

@joahsantosI've never seen that done. because even the way we do it it's we do it through surveys right like if a if a product pay like if a brand pays us we'll go do a segment in america and we'll you know do surveys on like 3 000 people and then group them together into different segments so based on their questions we figure out their pain points and kind of group them together but i've never seen it done the other way where i can identify

@joahsantosbecause even in the segments I'm confused to what segment I am because and I've been working with this for you know 25 years because I am the type of guy who if I don't know something I have to run to Google which is very much what's called a what they call progressive intellectual which my pain point is I'm always worried about things becoming too modern and I like the ties to tradition

@joahsantosbut I'm also the guy you go to, supposed to be the guy you go to if there's like a new restaurant in town I'll be the first to know and that's not me right but I feel like that's my pain point but then I also feel like my status is cheaper so it's really like I've never seen anyone be able to do it in reverse because there's some of these are very close together and I think it's almost impossible to do in in reverse

@captnsurfnturfI just want to throw in something here. It depends on the vertical. So if you're dealing with the airlines industry, and I've worked with airline clients in the past, yeah, you can go over in your head and say, hey, listen, my own personal experience on the check-in at the airport, overhead storage, organization just with the staff on the plane, just shit like that.

@captnsurfnturfThere is certain things you can go through to get your own feedback. without going through outside agencies and so on and so forth. But it does depend on the vertical. And it also depends.

@joahsantosThat's the jobs to be done thing, right? A job to be done on a flight is, you know, storage or leg room or whatever.

@captnsurfnturfAnd then you're going to have segments based on that. If you travel a lot, you know, like going on there and just how you're treated at the airport, you know, and all this kind of stuff. You kind of work it through your head and be like, yeah, man, this could be changed a little bit.

@aznpwr86Well, the main reason I'm asking this is because it's propaganda and I have a buddy who does SEO and he's in marketing and he doesn't fall for any marketing tricks because he knows all the tricks of the trade when it comes to marketing and the psychological aspect of it. It's literally almost like analyzing human psychology.

@aznpwr86So if you can identify your own pain points and then have an app

@joahsantosYeah, I mean, for that suggestion, the only thing I suggest is what is the one thing where you're here for the conversation about the RAS, your reticulated activating system? Is there something that continually grabs your attention that solves a problem you have? And that is a pain point you have, right? But you're only going to have a few in there.

@joahsantosBut one of them is going to be like an emotional pain point, which is what's typically used for propaganda is the emotional pain point.

@joann_marieFor me, it's the nostalgic one. I think that's the emotional one because I'm like, I love nostalgia. And if I see something that it reminds me of something nostalgic, I'm like, yes, I'm going to get it. Like, I don't care.

@joahsantosDo you know all the new hotspots in Mexico City?

@joann_marieI'm not in Mexico City right now. I live in the north.

@joahsantosAh, I thought you were in Mexico City, sorry.

@joann_marieYeah, I lived in Mexico City for 10 years.

@joahsantosOkay, but do you know all the, like, are you the person they call to find out, like, your friends call you to figure out what the new hot restaurant is?

@joann_marieYes, and also, like, all of the spots that are, like, really hard to get into and that nobody knows about, I was that one.

@joahsantosDo the men you like almost always have beards?

@joann_marieYes, I'm a hipster, Joa.

@joahsantosYeah, exactly. And you like men that work with their hands. That's a progressive intellectual.

Speaker 1I'm a progressive intellectual?

@joahsantosYeah, that's the segment you fall into.

@joann_marieOh, no.

@joahsantosProbably.

@joann_marieYes, I don't know. I just know I'm a hipster. Yeah. All right. This is such an amazing space. Thank you so much.

@wagmiwanI like bearded women, Joa. What do I fit in?

@joahsantosThere's a weirdo category. There's not many people there, but that's probably where you're at.

@joann_marieThat's hilarious. Okay. Grateful Rye.

@gratefulry25Yeah. Hey, guys. How y'all doing?

@joann_marieGood. How are you?

@gratefulry25I'm good. Thanks. So this conversation's been awesome. It's been a privilege listening. So a couple of things that I'm going to try to cover. everything real quick um the oh shit damn I lost my train of thought um okay the what I think PVG was talking about earlier um with it went like the corporations and everything and this is I'm not trying to get like political or anything but our entire legislative branch is uh it all of them are taking money from from APAC basically

@gratefulry25you know which is which is fueling their agenda ahead of the at least what I believe the American public's you know better interest you know and I'm not gonna try not to get too much into all that but one other thing too is that they were looked at as the As the new Rome, basically. After Rome collapsed and, you know, split into the Vatican and all that.

@gratefulry25But America is looked at by, at least by Israel, as the new Rome. And they kind of got beef with Rome, right? From when Titus came and conquered them and threw them out or whatever. So, just for a little bit of perspective that, you know, yeah, there's a good, you know, sect of people that their main goal is to subvert and derail the American goy, you know what I mean?

@gratefulry25Like, that's really what it is. They look at us as less than for something for them to Liveoff of and that's been proven while we're sending all of our all our money's going over there and people over here are starving and don't have health care you know etc etc um like the uh sweden the guy from australia earlier which when he mentioned uh you know sweden has health care you know they have health care uh uh free um

@gratefulry25Childcare, etc. And, you know, America could do that for its citizens if we weren't farming all of our money out to all these other places that really don't benefit not only the everyday person, but it really doesn't have an effect on our national security either. That's just kind of an excuse at this point. I mean, I don't think, I'm pretty sure I ran, didn't have a missile that was going to reach over here, much less were they probably even really thinking about it.

@gratefulry25And as far as, oh, the AI thing. With, Joe, is that how you say your name, Joe?

@joahsantosYep, that's it.

@gratefulry25Okay, right on. I think that was you that brought up, The AI models that when you first came out and you'd ask them about spirituality or religion or whatever that they didn't have any they didn't really have an answer they didn't have an opinion on it and then after you know a couple months you know a few months later or whatever you notice that

@gratefulry25Their first answer was Judaism. Was that you? Or I can't remember who that was that said that.

@joahsantosYeah, that was me. The question I would ask is if it had to choose a religion, which one would it choose? And it wouldn't give one early on. Right. Now, due to what it says, it says Judaism.

@gratefulry25Right. And I noticed something really similar. And actually, it really kind of pissed me off because I was trying to... uh figure out something i've been wanting to try to figure out since i you know was a little kid and first started learning about history and everything else um and i i felt like we never got um i felt like other parts of the world when i would like as i got older and talked to people that everywhere gets every every place gets a different history kind of based on

@joann_mariePlease send it soon because we need to shut this down.

@gratefulry25Okay, okay, okay. Sorry. I'll be quick. But yeah, the AI models, you know, all of them kind of have that, like I know all kind of have that bias. And even if you try to lead them or, you know, develop your prompts, you know, get a few prompts in so it kind of knows. or kind of prime it a little bit it still has things that aren't even necessarily uh considered that wouldn't objectively wouldn't be considered uh like hey i guess hateful speech or like um um um or like um any kind of like uh what objectively wouldn't be like dangerous hateful uh violent anything like that but

@gratefulry25Because of other keywords that they train it on, it automatically associates it with that. And it's been doing that for, I think, a couple of years now. I think even Grok just changed recently where the answers it's given right now is a little bit, seems like it's been kind of like lobotomized a little bit or something.

@gratefulry25But just, I appreciate it. Yeah, that's all I got. Thank you, guys.

@aznpwr86I think the long story short of your story is that AI is on guardrails, which we talked about, and it's being used as a tool and a weapon against us all the time.

@joann_marieYes, thank you so much. All right.

@gratefulry25The gatekeeper.

@joann_marieOkay, y'all. It was such a wonderful, wonderful space and I hope we can have you again here another time. I would like to learn more about this because you know so many things about all of this manipulation and all of these insane things that propagandize people, brainwash people and all of the tricks that they do and I would love to learn more about it.

@joann_marieAnd you're super wholesome, so thank you. Thank you so much for everything you're doing. Thank you so much for hosting.

Speaker 10Thank you, Joa. Thanks for everything. By the way, Joa, I checked right now the AI.

@joann_marieWe're going to go into closing remarks with Joa and then we're going to go to the list of spaces and then we're going to play a song and then we're going to shut the space because I need to go co-host somewhere else, okay? Sorry, go for it, Joe. I would like to say some closing remarks and you can take that as long as you want.

@joahsantosYeah, I mean, thanks for the interest. I didn't expect this to be five and a half hours. I'm sorry, guys. I was starting to get tired for the last hour and a half.

@joann_marieAnd there is so many people here, Joe. It's 800 people.

@joann_marieIt's one of our best spaces. Everybody loves it. So thank you so much.

@wagmiwanIt peaked at almost 1100 because I looked like about 20 minutes ago.

@joann_marieIt's been such a great space. Everybody is enjoying it.

@joahsantosYeah. Well, thank you, guys. I appreciate it. And yeah, of course, I would do it again. I love that we found Mulberry needing some help. Hopefully I can give you guys some updates on how that progresses. I think that's an important thing for America. to have healthy food, which is, you know, horrendous in America. But I'll let you know.

@joahsantosSo that was really good. And yeah, of course, we could do this again some other time.

@joann_marieI would absolutely love that, Johan. Thank you so much. And please follow Ian, follow Johan, follow Uncle Hoz. I think he came up to say, fuck Israel, as he always does. Fuck Israel! Fuck Israel, motherfuckers! I love this.
