Ian MalcolmI'm sure Vicky over there is like, what is going on? But, uh, I, I, so I was trying to figure this one out because for some reason that, uh, the voice reminds me of, uh, the one and only Austin Powers, of course, played by, uh, Mike Myers. So, uh, but, uh, but that's Burt Baccarat. I want to say that that's Barry Manilow, but I might be wrong.
Ian MalcolmIs it really? Is it really? Is it really?
Ian MalcolmI gotta be honest as I always am. There are some songs that occasionally we pick that get me kind of dancing and grooving. That one hit the spot. It tickled the dance floor, if you will. That was a lot of fun. So JoAnn, why did you come up with the Coca Cabana by Barry Manilow?
@joann_marieBecause Coca Cabana is in Brazil and you literally put me in the spot like three seconds before the space and you're like, do you have a song in Brazil? And I was like... I do. It is Kappa Kabbana. This is why I chose it. And it's also such a great song and it's really happy.
Ian MalcolmIt is. Very, very, very happy. And as am I. So, JoAnn, three spaces in one day. I don't know what to anticipate or expect, but we are going to do our best. And we're going to do so because we have three different topics, well, two different topics in addition to our regularly scheduled space. Thank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmThis election, there's a lot of controversy. And I find it very interesting because on one side, we're seeing a lot of the people that swim in our waters here, intellectually anyway, that are celebrating that the very, very hardcore Zionist lost the election, right? And obviously the alternative here had been very, very pro-Israel and very outspoken about it.
Ian MalcolmHowever, the alternative that is the victor There's a lot of reasons to also be kind of questionable. And one of those is not only the post that Simon had made about some of the seeming attacks on social media and pressures to lock down free speech in the digital world. But also you've got the likes of Alexander Soros celebrating the victory, which we should, of course, then look at and say, well, what exactly is going on here?
Ian MalcolmAnd per usual, it feels like The options were either the ultra Zionist or perhaps the more Bolshevik aligned alternative. And I'm going to be very curious for the thoughts. And so when I messaged Simon, he said, well, we should see if Vicky can join because obviously she's been doing a lot of reporting on this. And I'm going to be very curious because I, if I'm not mistaken, coming from
Ian MalcolmAnother continent, but equally interested in kind of the geopolitical aspects of it. And so very curious to kind of get an introduction to her, some of the work that she's been doing as an investigative journalist, and then also to try and understand her thoughts on this subject over the next maybe 90 minutes or so. But before we kick anything else off and kick it over to Vicky and then anticipate Simon's arrival, JoAnn, anything that I might have missed or anything that maybe Mandy would like to add to the table of content here?
@joann_marieThank you so much for hosting, Ian and Mandy. Good to see you, Vicky. Nice to meet you and everybody. Guys, please repost this space. And if you guys go to it, I will also repost it and also bookmark it. It helps so much with the algorithm. And follow Ian, Mandy, Vicky, and obviously Dan, who is down in the listeners, for putting all of Ian Malcolm's spaces on.
@joann_marieMalcolm's spaces here are next on Rumble, Spotify, Apple Podcasts. Now also on Instagram and TikTok. IanMalcolm84.com and it's just absolutely beautiful you guys should check it out and thank you so much Dank you're an absolute superstar and yeah no very very excited to learn more about the elections in Brazil so thank you so much Mandy would you like to add anything before we go to Vicky?
Speaker 1No it just looks wild I haven't I haven't followed this super closely, but what's going on looks insane. Looks like people are fleeing the country and all sorts of stuff. So I'm really fascinated to hear, especially with what's going on. I mean, what is expected to go on in various elections and what's going on in Israel right now seems like a lot of chaos.
Speaker 1So I can't wait to hear about it. Thank you for having me here, by the way, Ian, JoAnn, and Vicky, who I didn't know before now, but I'm giving a follow. And by the way, I recommend everybody else does as well. Thank you.
Ian MalcolmYeah, of course. And so a lot of a lot of estrogen up here at the moment. If any of my testosterone laden friends would like to come up and balance the panel, you are certainly welcome to while we wait for Simon, at which point we'll have a two on three. So, Vicky, it's a it's a pleasure to connect and to get your thoughts.
Ian MalcolmAnd I'm kind of curious because I was looking at your bio unfamiliar with a little bit of your background. I noticed the link. in your bio in particular to some work that you had done in the past with TPUSA which obviously let's say it's not only been the headlines historically because of Charlie Kirk but obviously since his assassination both for let's say some of the things that they've been advocating for and then also some of the scrutiny around some of the
Ian MalcolmLet's say the change is in direction. So I'm going to be curious for some of that, but would love to get a backdrop on yourself and kind of what got you into politics and perhaps this digital landscape and how you arrived connected to Simon and then as a result in this room.
@vickyr1chterHello. First of all, thank you for having me. I hope you can hear me.
Ian MalcolmWell, you sure can.
@vickyr1chterPerfect. So, yeah, it's a kind of a funny story. So I did... I started journalism with my work in the German military so I'm a German citizen and I was a German war correspondent for the German army so I was special forces psyops for eight and a half years and then when I left the military I swept into journalism and I actually really kicked off with investigative journalism while COVID because of what happened while COVID in my country Germany but mostly all over the world was kind of like the playbook what we did with our enemies in Afghanistan and Kosovo like with the PSYOP and all this fear-mongering and all that stuff so I got into exposing the lies around COVID
@vickyr1chterThat put me a little bit on the no-no list in my country. So put me into this conspiracy theories, aluminum head, misinformation kind of group, which wasn't because I just put out facts. But all we know since COVID, facts are always what the government wants us to believe are facts and not what are actually facts. and with Brazil I got the chance to interview Jair Bolsonaro in 2021 because I got invited to Brazil to interview him in person so I was there and interviewed Jair Bolsonaro and Eduardo Bolsonaro while they were still in office and I had a very
@vickyr1chterThe chance to be a US correspondent in the United States. So I was then exposing a lot of child sex trafficking at the American-Mexican border. 2024, I went back to Brazil to cover the Independence Day and the unlawful censorship under Lula and Alessandra de Moraes. and I was there interviewed I was there 10 days I got invited to go to Brasilia interviewed several congressmen or deputies of the opposition side like Eduardo Bolsonaro then
@vickyr1chterBia Kicis and all them and also the family from Clayzon. I don't know if you know Clayzon. Clayzon was the father or the man who died in prison because we got him in prison because of the January 8 coup or what the Lula government calls coup and he died in there because of pneumonia and Alexander Demarais didn't allow him to leave prison and go to a doctor.
@vickyr1chterSo he died there. So I interviewed his family and then Nicolas Herrera. And as me being a journalist, I want to hear from both sides. So I tried and applied for interviews with the party from Lula. I wrote an email for an interview application with Lula and Alexander Marais. I even tried to call the office of Alexander de Moraes and I called it from Marcel van Hattem's office and the number was blocked.
@vickyr1chterSo we couldn't call it. Then we used a private phone and then we could reach the office of Alexander de Moraes. So that's kind of interesting. And then... 30 minutes later, after I sent the email and spoke to the secretary, I got a request for an interview with Fora magazine, the very left magazine, and I didn't really answer because I was like, oh, that's weird.
@vickyr1chterHe asked me why I'm reporting about the lack of freedom of speech in Brazil. The media didn't even know that I'm doing this documentary to that time, so it was very low-key. So I didn't really answer and I said, well, I will answer when I'm back in the States. And yeah, so what happened, he wrote a smear campaign article about me that I'm a Nazi, a Bolsonarista, and he didn't even talk to me.
@vickyr1chterHe called, he said that I belong to a neo-Nazi group only because I'm questioning the censorship in Brazil, especially the blocking. or canceling platforms like Rumble or X. And when then one day later I tried to fly home to America, I got stopped at the airport and the border police and federal police tried to seize my passport and said I entered Brazil illegally only because I asked questions.
@vickyr1chterAnd I made afterwards... A video about it and then I got cancelled in Brazil so nobody could even go on my Instagram profile which then ended up on Brazil mainstream because I made a video about what happened to me and right now I'm kind of like not the most welcome person in Brazil because I'm one of the three international journalists who went there and got problems because we just tried to expose what's happening there and
@vickyr1chteron my trip in 2024 is when I met Simon the first time and we were talking and we stayed in contact and it's kind of like very interesting how it went and right now with the election it's insane because I'm a very good friend of Alan Dos Santos he's a journalist in exile in America from Brazil and What happened to him is also insane.
@vickyr1chterIt's like not only political persecution, it's persecution of everyone who adheres to say something against the system or against Alexander Demorais. So I'm very pro the Bolsonaro family because I know them in person. I'm not aligning with their...
@vickyr1chterand so I actually have a right to have an opinion about Israel because I've been there I saw and I experienced how they treat Germans in Israel which is not very nice and I made my sarcastic jokes there which I won't repeat because I probably get blocked then but
Ian MalcolmYeah, the thing is... Vicky, did you shake and do weird things in front of the wall? Or did you make fun of the people doing that?
@vickyr1chterNo, no. So everyone said, you have to go to the wall and kiss the wall. I went to the wall. I didn't kiss the wall. Why would I kiss the wall? Like, I didn't kiss the wall. I went there because it's a historical monument. And I think when you are in Jerusalem, you visit the wall. And I was very... I'm Christian, so... I recognized the wall but I didn't kissed it because I don't think I have to and I spoke with some political figures there I have my own opinion what happens what happened on the 7th of October I think that's not the topic here right now so coming back to Brazil I watched the election very closely and even on the 4th of October we had this very
@vickyr1chtera crazy incident where the poll's documentation stopped for a whole of 55 minutes and suddenly we had from 64% the results on 84% and then we had an increase of 6% towards pro Lula so he came close to Flavio so Flavio wouldn't win the first round and then we have on the 25th of October First of all, this very controversial stunt from the electrical judge who was before a lawyer from Lula to extend the opening times for polling, which is funny right now because Netanyahu tried that in Israel too, so that's kind of like a funny thing that he tried it too, but everyone was very curious about it when it happened in Brazil, so it's kind of like a two-tier justice there.
@vickyr1chterBut the thing is, what I'm trying to say, What happened in Brazil on those two days isn't a normal process of an election process. So there was something happening. And then when you have already claiming deputies in Brazil to confiscate passports from the opposition, and then you have, I would have fled Brazil too when I would be in Flavio Bolsonaro.
@vickyr1chterIf I have the chance to get out of there, knowing what happened to my father, and what's happening to my brother so that they try to get me out of America like what they tried with Eduardo was so now I would get the hell out of there too so I don't think everyone he's a father he has a family so he has to take care of his family too and I think he didn't decide it as being a coward to leave Brazil alone I think he decided for his family with what is the best for his family and that is
@vickyr1chterSurely not staying in a country where the whole family is now kind of the most wanted and the biggest enemy of the state right now. And when you see who is supporting Lula, well, a lot of criminals are supporting him. And when you listened to the prisons, they were chanting, you heard them loud out of the prison when they declared Lula a winner.
@vickyr1chterAnd that was the last time again when he ran against Jair. So I'm not a huge Lula supporter. I'm a huge, I think Lula is a narco-communistic dictator. He's the best buddy of Maduro. And he founded the Sao Paulo Forum, which is a full-blown socialistic think tank. I was born in Eastern Germany. My family survived socialism.
@vickyr1chterWe fled eastern Germany while the wall was still there. So I'm not a huge fan of anything what has to do with communism, socialism or Marxism. So sorry that I have to say no. I would support Bolsonaro even if he would be super super pro-Israel because at that point I say You can't have socialism or communism in a country because it doesn't work.
@vickyr1chterIt destroys the people. And it's only for the 5% who are rich. And then they fake it and say, oh, everyone is equal. Nobody is equal under communism. So that's my five cents on that. Hi, Simon.
@goddekHello.
Ian MalcolmSimon, so I'm going to be curious for your thoughts there. And I saw some of the posts, and I'm really glad that we get to kind of do this expose on what's taking place and your kind of firsthand reactions of it. In particular, not only the video that you had of Lula announcing that they were going to try to crack down on social media, and I'm curious if you could expand on what you think that that might include, but also your most recent comment about individuals that are kind of whispering to you
Ian Malcolmabout their concerns around this election, seemingly because they're that concerned that kind of the spies and the agents and the provocateurs are listening to everything that's happening. Could you kind of give your thoughts on it?
@goddekYeah. Well, you know, it's not like that society got more scared overnight. It has been happening gradually, slowly in the course of the last, I'd say, six to eight years. So, you know, when I moved here in 2020, people were like, you know, openly on the streets talking about politics, you know, saying whatever they want to say, right?
@goddekThey were making sexist jokes and, you know, all these kind of jokes that you can still make in the US. In the meantime, for example, the political climate has changed a lot, especially since The Last Election, which in my opinion, I have to be careful to say it, I think there might be a chance it was rigged as well, right?
@goddekSo after that, Alexandre Marais, the Supreme Court judge who thinks he's God, he's prosecuting literally everybody who is critical of him, the system. or Wokeism. So for example, I think the second most voted politician in the state of São Paulo, which is Erika Hilton. You're like, okay, Erika Hilton, that's a weird name.
@goddekShe must be a foreigner. She must be from Europe. Wow, that's a female. No fucking way. It's Felipe Santos da Silva or something like this. You can't make it up. Dressing as a woman and like literally, you know, once you say it's a guy, like, this individual I called individual right because otherwise you know anyways suing everybody I think there was someone who got 30 years in prison for transphobia or something because of this person and it's a it's a left-wing extremist so this person has a whole team of people going online on instagram facebook x checking out who's calling this dude a dude right and then suing them like it's fucking insane and um
@goddekyou know and people are afraid afraid of doing anything I mean like if a guy has XY chromosomes it's a guy right it's a dude if it has dick it's not a chick it's easy in the US it's like common sense I mean like they're they're they're like crazy liberals who's like oh no but well but in Brazil you can end up in prison for decades for calling this this leftist um extremist
@goddeka dude or just calling him by his real name right so i think he was also suing the united states because um the visa they gave him um said male so um erica hilton was suing the united states for saying that like a dude with a dick is a male anyways um it's wild he blocked me now like an hour ago and uh probably he's gonna sue me as well or doesn't know that i'm living in brazil and just ignoring it just blocked me we will see
@goddekAnyways, this is like, you know, the climate in Brazil. And people are afraid of stating their opinions. They're afraid of questioning things. Because what people need to know, especially when it comes to Brazilian elections, like these, you know, these electronic elections, these, you know, they usually print out a paper, like a, you know, as a, so you can later count if the machine was doing whatever, you know.
@goddekum it was supposed to do count count the votes correctly but Alessandro Moraes in 2018 you know he kind of got rid of this so now it's only you know it's only literally what the government reports so nobody can like count them afterwards like okay this in this county uh let's let's really see it's weird like you know um there was just like a a news article um there were it's this this is really crazy um in
@goddekThere were 106 ballot boxes in which Lula received almost 15,000 votes and Flavio zero. So, you know, in a normal democracy would be like, oh, this is weird. I mean, like the likelihood is zero. Let's just count, you know, what these paper receipts, whatever you call them, what they're saying. And then we can see if it's true, but we can't because there's no way we can double check it.
@goddekAnd there are many municipalities as well. They had more votes for Lula than voters. It doesn't work like that, right? So we can't recount. We can't. So right now they say, look, you know, we need to trust the system. Assange Marais says we need to trust the system. That's his system. So why would we trust Assange Marais, who's going after everybody, who's like, you know, who's questioning things, who's going after social media, who's going after everything?
@goddekso it's really scary and I made this post and you know I'm almost always here in the jungle but you know once in a while I'll go to the closest town I think it has I think 1,000 inhabitants super small but it's huge I mean like I think it has the area of Dallas but nobody's living there or here anyways I talked to people I went to the pharmacy and this guy said like hey I know your opinion but you know we can't talk too loud and
@goddekWhat's going on? He's like, it's rigged. I was like, yeah, no. So what? He's like, yeah. But you can't say it publicly. He's coming after everyone. He could be listening to us via the phones. I'm like, what the fuck? People are really afraid. And they say, the best would be to leave the country. We're in Brazil. Brazilians are always positive.
@goddekWe always stay together. We don't just go somewhere else. And I agree with these people. But I mean, what can we do? What can people do in Brazil right now? It's difficult. because they implemented laws everywhere so you can't even... For example, the south of Brazil is rich. The northeast... I mean, I don't want to generalize, but people in the northeast rather avoid working.
@goddekThey get social aid and people there don't work as hard as people in the south. It's put like this. So people in the south, they pay way more taxes. They work harder. The economy is working, less crimes. Like, you know, totally the opposite of the Northeast. Northeast is more beautiful, of course, unfortunately. But anyways, you know, people in Brazil can't even say, oh, like, how about we, you know, we divide Brazil up in two parts, etc.
@goddekYou can be thrown into jail forever. So you can't criticize anything. You can't criticize the government. You can't criticize the election. You can't criticize Alexandre Moraes. And he's been very corrupt. The Twitter files, the Alexandre Moraes files showed this and mean that there were more... There were more things going on right now that he was like, you know, working or like getting money from a bank owner.
@goddekAnd it was actually, you know, getting on his wife's account. But he was the last person editing the, you know, he did so much. He would end up in jail in every country, but he's God. So who puts God in jail? Nobody. So, and he's, you know, he's the one, he's untouchable. So whenever there's anything, he will just, you know, he will just go after this person.
@goddekHe will not say like, okay, let's follow the law. No, he's an evil, hardcore tyrant dictator. So Brazil can't do anything because the military doesn't have balls. And I can't say I want a military coup, they would throw me to jail. I'm just saying they don't have balls. In the past, they would have solved the issue, but nowadays they don't.
@goddekAnd right-wing politicians, they're like, I also want to say they don't, you know, maybe not too many balls. They could unite and say like, hey, stop. This is where it stops because they have the majority of the Senate. So they can stop a lot, but they also kind of, you know try to avoid the problem and now they're like publicly saying yeah we accept the the election result i mean like what could they do i mean like you can't you can't recount um but okay at least you can say like oh you know what happens this is the red line right and uh i mean until now you know also the right-wing people um or the center people they they kind of um you know work together with lula so there's a guy called al-kolumbri um he's a jew and uh he's like the
@goddekthe president of the senate so every request for impeachment he was just like no no not helping out no so he's like you know he's kind of avoiding that um you know that Alessandro Moraes gets impeached um and there are so many other things that are crazy here that would you know um people would say to them and anti-semite etc but like you know there's like there are like some weird coincidences with these um you know with these people um
@goddekhere in this country and it's coming from the right and the left but yeah what I'm actually saying the right needs to unite and they need to say you know here not further because the next step will be that Lula is going to appoint four more supreme court judges I mean like during the election like in the last week he said like oh no we need to the supreme court this court this system sucks we need to you know it shouldn't be the president who appoints them you know it can be misused but now of course he's going to do it anyways he won and he's going to appoint four more judges
@goddekand this would be I think nine to two so we would have nine hardcore leftist extremist judges of which some have been or like at least one has been the member of a member of a of the Brazilian Communist Party who publicly says democracy is not the way to go so he's a Supreme Court judge his name is Gino like the dinosaur anyways
@goddekand who else in there like Lula's former lawyer you know private lawyer and friend so these are the people he he appointed and the next four will not be any better so i think it also has to pass the brazilian senate but i doubt you know um i think that either the right will be blackmailed or whatever or i mean he's going to find a way to to put them in there which would mean that brazil will be held hostage for the next 30 years
@goddekI don't have any issue with like normal leftist policies. I mean, like they happen in every country, but this is hardcore extremist leftist policies and that's a danger.
Ian MalcolmNo, absolutely. And so Vicky, to go back to you on this one. So for those that are less familiar with these two options that we're being faced. So obviously there is the international aspect where.
@goddekAre you talking right now? Because I don't hear anyone. So otherwise I would have to restart this. You are talking. JoAnn, can you hear me? Hold on. I'm going to I'm going to restart the browser.
@joann_marieI'm going to recycle.
Ian MalcolmOK, cool. So, Vicky, I'm kind of curious for the because obviously there was the the Zionist aspect of Lula's competition or political opposition. But what were some of the let's say the nationalistic or lack thereof policies that would have been favored by Bolsonaro relative to Lula? What are some of the things that you think will
Ian MalcolmThank you for joining us.
@vickyr1chterWell, first of all, I think they would put amnesty on the still incarcerated prisoners of January 8. So that would be a thing. And also they would start investigations against Demarais. So that was one of the promises. They would probably try to keep a freedom of speech alive. or more alive than Lula because Simon translated a very very good interview from Lula after he won that he will start blocking social media platforms again so we and we had that already like we had
@vickyr1chterX blocked for over, how many days? 60 days or even longer? It was longer.
@goddekHe had Starlink and X blocked. Luckily, Starlink paid our subscription in the meantime. But yeah, it was blocked for a long time.
@vickyr1chterYeah, and then Rumble, I think, is still blocked. And they made VPNs illegal. VPNs are illegal. Yeah, you had to pay $5,000 a day for using a VPN to post from Brazil. And that was... The last election term. And now we have a new one. And I think it won't get better. It just will get worse, like Simon said. And I don't think that...
@vickyr1chterThe thing is, there is no ideal politician in the world. So if you want that, then I think you don't live in any reality. But I'd rather have a Bolsonaro legislation than having Lula, who is totally controlled by Soros, who was funded by USAID and supports narco-terrorism. and is totally in the mindset of communism and is a thief.
@vickyr1chterHe is a thief. He stole already election. I think he also stole that one. Or it seems like it. And there is, in my opinion, more legal fairness under a right-wing politician. Right now, or would be in Brazil, as under Lula, because Lula is supporting Alexander de Moraes, and Alexander de Moraes is the investigator, the persecutioner, the judge, and the executioner in Brazil.
@vickyr1chterLike, he tries to do everything. He even puts people in jail because they wrote a message with lipstick on a statue. It was a mother. And she was a hairstylist, I guess. And she was put in jail. Then we have, like I said, Clayson, who died in jail. So, I see Brazil is going down a very bad path, like Venezuela did. And, yeah.
@vickyr1chterIt's not good. The persecution started, like I said, with Flavio Bolsonaro. He was visiting his father on Monday and then outside the house of Jair Bolsonaro, the police waited and asked him for his passport and his passport got cancelled. I don't think that's a very democratic move from the party who won to say, okay, we have to seize the passports of the opposition.
@vickyr1chterAnd then when you see into investigations from David Agape, he found out that on social media there were like smear campaigns with ads against Flavibolz over 530 and against Lula only 130 or 160.
@vickyr1chterAnd when you followed the money, the money was to a third party LLC, which also did some ad campaigning for Maduro while he was in Venezuela. But there are no connections that Lula's party or Lula paid for them. But if you see who is benefiting from it, doesn't really say it's a good thing. And then you have the very controversial thing that,
@vickyr1chterMost of Flavio Bolsonaro's messages were published without volume. The people couldn't hear what he said. So he had to ask his friends out of the country to publish it with audio so people could actually hear what he said. So that's not a really fair and democratic... I would rather even vote Ronald McDonald as president
@vickyr1chteras having a socialistic, communistic leader of my country. So that's my opinion.
Ian MalcolmNo, it makes sense. And I feel like Ronald McDonald, that's an apt description for Donald Trump. Thank you for joining us today.
@joann_marieYeah, sure. And this is such a great space. Thank you. Thank you so much for hosting it. And Vicky, nice to meet you.
@vickyr1chterSorry, I just have to leave because I still have a phone call with a family member. And that was a very spontaneous space. I'm sorry, but I have to leave.
Ian MalcolmNo, of course. And Vicky, I just want to thank you so much. I know it was very short notice. Simon, he was very interested in having your opinion in here, especially given your first-hand experience. So really appreciate you being part of this. And I just want to thank you for sharing your expertise with
@vickyr1chterPerfect. Thank you so much and thank you for having me. Thank you. Maybe you invite me again. Thank you so much. Have a great evening.
@vickyr1chterBye.
@joann_marieSimon, I wanted to ask you, they also banned Lula's Facebook and also they were like going. So it's banning from both sides, right?
@goddekThey didn't ban his Facebook. I think they banned his ad account on Meta for one hour. Oh, yeah. I think Meta also is meddling in elections. Don't misunderstand me. And we know that Meta and the United States have their preferred candidate, right? But to me, there is a big difference between having an ad account blocked for one hour compared to blocking all platforms for a month or even years.
@goddekRumble is still blocked, by the way. So that's a huge difference. I mean, Meta shouldn't have done it, but it's not like Flavorable Scenario personally did this, right? So I doubt he had anything to do with this. But of course, it's a no-go and it shouldn't happen. But ad account one hour, you know, to me, this is no big deal.
@goddekYou know, I think it's even worse than that these platforms actually ban the accounts of those who are critical of a specific country in the Middle East.
@joann_marieIt's just a nightmare. And they're like, oh, no, this is the technocratic stage is going to be great, guys. It's so manipulative. So thank you. And I learned so much. And again, guys, please repost it. And if you guys go through it, I will also repost it and bookmark it. It helps so much with the algo and follow Ian and Mandy and Dr. Simon and Vicky, who already left, but and everybody on the panel and also thank who is on in the listeners.
@joann_marieAll right. Bryce, welcome. Go for it.
@briciusxSimon, so good to see you, buddy. It's been a minute. I hope you're doing well. I hope the weather is good out there in Brazil for you. I just have a quick question. Was Flavio supported of Israel and the socialist anti-Zionist?
@goddekIf Flavio was supported by socialist anti-Zionists?
@briciusxNo, I'm asking if Baldessaro, I believe his name is, didn't he support Israel? Bolsonaro, didn't he support Israel?
@goddekYes, he does. Totally. Like, I have been to their home in Sao Paulo and there were more Israel flags than Brazil flags, which we found shocking, by the way. Anyways, but they're evangelicals, so they're heavily brainwashed. And as far as I know, Jair Bolsonaro's wife, Michelle Bolsonaro, who's younger than Jair's sons, she's very evangelical and has lots of influence.
@goddekAnd she even showed up at a huge demonstration with one million people with a t-shirt saying Israel. It's weird. It's super weird. But I mean, I think they're just brainwashed. I mean, they believe in their religion. They think the Schofield Bible is telling the truth. They really believe this.
@briciusxBut they're like super gun-ho about Israel, right? So like it was kind of, and I guess this is my question, this was kind of a strange election because you've got this batshit crazy socialist and this like out there Zionist running against each other. And it's like just, it sounds to me, and this is just my opinion, so please take it for a grain of salt.
@goddekthat it was literally you're picking the the the least of two evils so i wouldn't you know in brazil it wasn't just like that flora bassanara is the one person there was a whole platform behind him and not just the pl party there were several right-wing parties behind him and some of them are not openly zionist and i know some of the politicians who say like hey well you know i see it like you but i can't say it publicly so it's not like the whole right is is pro-zionist right
@goddekIt happens that this family in particular is very much pro-Zionist, but they really believe that Israel is special and that they are above everything else. It's their belief. But to what degree... Simon, can I ask one more question?
@briciusxYes. Since you know them personally, can you describe for Bolsonaro... What's his last name? Bolsonaro. So that I don't butcher it. Bolsonaro. We know that he has worked with a coalition of right-wing parties. But there is a specific party in Brazil, and please tell me what it is, but it's like the Salazar Party that supports true, you know, far right-wing, almost fascist.
@briciusxAnd he excluded them from the coalition. Why is that?
@goddekSalazar Party?
@briciusxYeah, there's a party in Brazil that... And again, Simon, forgive me.
@goddekI don't know.
@briciusxBut apparently, there's this party that supports the Portuguese dictator Salazar and the things that he instituted in Portugal and wants to bring it to Brazil. What I read was is that Bolsonaro excluded that particular party from his right-wing coalition. Do you have any information?
@goddekI'm not aware of this. I've never heard of this. Maybe others have. Maybe Marcos is here. He might know. Maybe he can say something.
@joann_marieGo for it, Marcos. Welcome.
@candeloro_realThank you, guys. Good evening. I was going to talk about the students' problem here in Brazil.
@goddekCan you first, Marcos, can you please say something about this party that... Flavio allegedly kicked out of the coalition, because I've never heard of this. The PL party? The liberal party? Yeah, they obviously kicked out the Salazar party or something, but I've never heard of this.
@candeloro_realSalazar party?
@candeloro_realI'm not familiar with that. Neither am I. Salazar, until I know it, was a dictator from... Just so that we're clear, I am an American reading American news.
@briciusxThis is why I'm asking you guys. I'm hearing so much negativity against the right-wing presidential candidate that I'm just trying to understand, was it a lot of... Jerry Bolsonaro was a man, a simple man. He was so transparent. He was so spontaneous.
@candeloro_realthat the people like him not because he would do something for them but just because he is what he is so it's a unique figure in the history maybe in the world nobody moved so many people to the streets like him standing in the government so it's It's a unique fan. You can't categorize him and put him on a box because it's a totally different fan.
@candeloro_realSo because of that, because his power of mass movement, they're afraid of the Brazilian Supreme Court. to free him, to maybe flag you winning the election and giving him the pardon, would stratospherically make them do everything like they did. It's not the first time our elections raised the eyebrow. I'm not saying that happened something, but we all, I'm guessing, feel the same about what happened.
@candeloro_realAnd Flavio having to flee to the United States the day after shows some preoccupation about his own liberty and safety. It's not healthy for a democracy. A former presidential has to flee the country two days after the election. Something is very wrong.
Ian MalcolmBack to Bryce's comment there. It really does feel like this election is a...
Ian Malcolmand take everything for the people at the top.
@goddekBut you're making it, you know, I know your opinion about Israel and Jewish Zionists and we share it totally. But I think, you know, like Marcus was saying, you know, Bolsonaro was, Jair Bolsonaro was, he wasn't as Zionist as his son, first of all. And he was able to direct people to the streets, you know, and to vote for the correct policies for the country, which doesn't mean higher taxes, higher taxes, higher taxes, higher taxes, because the only thing
@goddekand the socialists do is increase the taxes and send the money the tax money to the northeast you know where people receive the social aid so it doesn't work like this so um so the debt the public debt of of brazil is is insane and of course um the statistics show like when lula is president the poverty rate goes you know um
@goddekdecreases but it's like he's taking money that brazil doesn't have and give it to the poor i mean like i can be a billionaire tomorrow if a bank lets me lend money right it doesn't make me a billionaire um as such yeah right um and of course brazilians had had a choice between um between farbos naro and lula but um i think we have to look more into into the policies the economical policies just like in argentina melee is is doing a great job when it comes to the economy
@goddekLook what happened before and what's happening now. Unfortunately, personally, they think that other people with tiny heads are superior to themselves. And I think it's an issue, right? But it doesn't impact the general Brazilian population.
@joann_marieDo you think that Millet is doing a good job in the economy in Argentina?
@goddekYes. I mean, just look at the data.
@joann_marieI have.
@goddekYeah, you have. Then check out the poverty rate, check out the inflation, how it is. Check out how much money the people have to spend to get an apartment, how much money you have to spend for food. I can just tell you, I've been traveling to Argentina, right? We do it regularly once a year. And before Millet was in power, it was crazy.
@goddekWe were able to get food for nothing because their money wasn't worth anything. And now it's stabilized. We talked to the people there and they all literally all say it's getting better. but I mean like that's another discussion but I'm like you know I'm a right-wing libertarian so I'm anyways totally for free markets and I believe that this is the best for freedom and the people I mean like just read the history book of course some regulations are fine especially when it comes to environmental regulations but you know the state should leave people alone and what Lula is doing he's actually regulating everything even like under Lula if I want to receive
@goddekmy my salary so i i mean i'm i'm you know since i spoke out against um covet i don't get a job anymore nowhere but i mean like i have my axe i have money station x i sell my vitamin d so that money comes from the united states right so whenever i send money to myself my money to myself the government says like wow you received money from from an account in the united states so x account whatever
@goddekyou are not gonna get it unless and then i have to make myself naked and say like you know justify why i send money to myself and why it's my money so this is what the lula government does and it's super nasty so i have to justify everything that comes from the outside a ghost out of brazil and sorry this is everything but freedom and i have to justify you know um what i say online i mean like if they people have to justify what they say online why they said stuff online so
@goddekAnd we almost have British circumstances here. It's almost as bad as in Great Britain. So yes, I think the problem is you can frame it as you want, but if you frame it as the crazy communist against the crazy Zionist, it's like evil versus evil. You forget that actually Zionism in Israel plays no role for the majority of the population here in Brazil.
@goddekThey don't care about Israel, right? And if the president, or like, if Lavinas was elected, he would move the embassy right away to Jerusalem. Like, ridiculous, right? But, you know, what impact does it have on a Brazilian? So currently a Brazilian pays three times more per kilo of meat than six years ago. It's insane.
@goddekIt's because of Lula. So people will here care more about, okay, can I buy the food? Can I improve my life? Can I actually study for a decent price? Is the economy doing all right? Is the crime rate going to get lower? Under Lula, like, you know, after he got elected, all the favelas were happy. So I don't want, you know, people in the favela be happy.
@goddekI don't want these criminals to be happy at all. But they were happy because they know exactly now they can continue with their narco-trafficking, etc. Because under Bolsonaro, it wouldn't have happened. Or we never know to what degree he is involved in organized crime. I mean, like, there are some reports that are trustworthy, but still, it's a totally different level than what Lula is doing.
@goddekSo... I would happily say like, okay, it would be good if Flavio Bolsonaro had won. I believe he had won. I believe he won. And, you know, the Brazilians are going to suffer now because what did Lula do today? He said like, he's going to cut education, social aid, everything before the election. So like, oh no, we're going to improve it.
@goddekAlready today, he said like, he's going to cut it. So, you know, so who's going to suffer? It's the people who voted for him. And they will vote for him the next time again, because those people are super low IQ and they will never learn.
Ian MalcolmWell, I definitely agree that there's a lot of low IQ people that get swindled on the suggestions that they'll be given X, Y, or Z and then it's taken from them. And so it's really interesting, Simon, to hear the alternative options. And I mean, obviously, we're just trying to figure out how to help the... The little guy, right, of the world.
Ian MalcolmAnd I know we got a lot of hands that might have some questions. So, JoAnn, why don't we go across and maybe check in with Andy and then Tom and some of the other speakers that are up here.
@joann_marieYeah, go for it, Andy. Welcome.
@froemelandyYeah, it's great to hear Simon's opinion on this, because I remember a few years ago under Lula, they did try to ban X and thankfully it got back. And I remember there was some. and many, many, many more.
@froemelandyMorales guy aka Judge Voldemort because this freak literally looks like Voldemort and acts like judge, jury, and executioner. It would be like if Biden's crazy Supreme Court Justice Kenesha Brown Jackson, whatever the heck her name is, basically had dictatorial powers and single-handedly was judge, jury, and executioner in America.
@froemelandyImagine in America if you went to jail for 30 years for misgendering someone, not just getting kicked out of sporting events for misgendering someone, which is already happening but literally went to prison for misgendering someone like the fact that that's actually happening in Brazil already is deeply concerning so like yeah obviously Bolsonaro is far from perfect I'm not saying he's perfect there isn't a such thing as a perfect politician I've yet to see one I mean we know that there's always going to be some level of corruption or some flaw
@froemelandyBut I mean, in my opinion, Bolsonaro was the lesser of two evils. I mean, it seemed like economically he made a bit more sense. And obviously, in terms of freedom of speech, he was definitely better. And he wasn't obviously pushing the LGBTQ. Like, yes, obviously, he was more supportive of Israel. But like, that's obviously not the only issue on the ballot.
@froemelandyIt just seems like Lula is pushing the country towards like a modern day form of Bolshevism. And it's just a dangerous slope because the second you vote Bolshevism in, you can't really vote that out short of some type of revolution. It's really difficult to vote Bolshevism out, especially after you've seized control of the judiciary.
@froemelandyAnd I saw Simon's post where he's saying that people are scared to speak up. And yeah, I'd be scared to speak up too if you could literally have a Supreme Court justice send goons to throw you in prison. If you spoke up like obviously speaking like you can get like it's not just oh you can lose a job it's you can literally get thrown in prison it's a whole different level of suppression in brazil than what we have going on in america it's probably like simon would you say it's like what's going on in the uk but on steroids in terms of the suppression yeah yeah yeah probably yes probably yes and it's much faster here
@goddekbecause at least in Europe everybody's pointing their finger at you, right? But I mean like the Europeans like the socialist here in Brazil because they think like okay well I mean probably either of ignorance maybe they don't know the whole story they don't know what he did here in Brazil and they don't know about the lawsuit because everybody's like oh yeah Lula was in prison but they freed him because he was innocent no he wasn't innocent he was never declared innocent it's just like the
@goddekyou know the the SDF the Supreme Court here said like that they made some mistakes procedural mistakes and that this the place where they judged him actually where he was convicted was the wrong town it should have been it should have been in Brasilia not in Curitiba that was i think this was the only thing they were literally saying and in all you know all the um corruption accusations they still stand he's still you know he's still convicted um criminal and like
@goddekOnce criminal, always criminal. Now his son is living in luxury apartments in Spain because he was obviously allegedly also involved in huge corruption schemes. And he fled to Spain, his son, which is obviously, we call him Lolinia. And that's obviously all right. I think Brazil is a highly corrupt country. especially compared to compared to Europe like everybody's kind of paying everybody and like you know if you're once once you're a politician you're like super rich try to be a politician in Holland and get super rich impossible but in Brazil you know put your politician you you know you know you're you're super rich or you're a judge and you're super judges are super rich as well they earn so much more money than an American judge the judge in Brazil I mean like come on anyways um um
@goddekYeah, that's at least what we're seeing and what's happening right now. In my opinion, it's a huge coup. And as you said correctly, you can vote yourself into communism or Bolshevism, but you can't vote yourself out. And we know who founded, who came up with the ideology of Bolshevism. So I cannot embrace that at all. So I prefer right-wing people, right-wing policies.
@goddekbut also writing policies that have like you know a social touch at least because nobody in this country should suffer from you know poverty should suffer from you know famine etc nobody should have you know go to bed hungry and I believe that a strong economy a good economy you know an economy that works on you know boosting your own your own industry instead of just raising taxes you know I think this is how you
@goddekin the long term are able to have success. And if you look at Brazil 20 years ago and China 20 years ago, Brazil had a much better economy than China and stagnated, right? Because China was like, you know, incentivating like companies to do, you know, to have success, to produce. And in Brazil, the only thing they did was like, okay, increase the taxes all over.
@goddekSo Brazil has the highest consumption taxes in the whole world, the highest. so for example a Brazilian person pays for a car double than an American person and I think the salary here is 10 times lower so you know or even even more I don't know but probably around 10 times so if one Brazilian person buys a car an American can literally buy 20 cars and who like who in America owns 20 cars like I bet not that many people so that's the problem here or an iPhone is double the price
@goddekSo I think in America, you work literally one week to get an iPhone. You have to work for several years to get an iPhone. So what Lula is doing doesn't help the poor people because if they had better mobility, they could work further away, they could make money. No, he's restricting this. And especially the poorer population in the Northeast, especially, they keep on voting for him.
@goddekSo they've been voting for him the first time 20 years ago. beginning of the 2000s and nothing has changed for them and they still believe his promises every single time and every single time Lula says this time I'm gonna I'm gonna you know eradicate poverty in Brazil but he's doing this for 20 years like his party is in power for for almost 20 years I think is one term of Bolsonaro they weren't in power the rest they were in power it's like how the blacks in the inner city keep voting for the democrats since the civil rights act and for 60 years and they haven't delivered them anything it's just poverty and crime
@goddekexactly exactly but here it's here he is much worse because here are really in the northeast people are really poor right and if like if if someone says like in my next term i'm going to eradicate it and every time he says like but this time for real this time for real and he says it six times and they still vote for him you know in the same 70 plus then you're like wow you know why would i want to live want to live in a in a country with such low iq people why do all you know um
@goddekYou know, Sao Paulo, for example, the state of Sao Paulo, if they send like from $100 of tax money they send to the central government, 10 come back. The rest goes to the northeast, right, to these people who vote for a socialist who again is destroying the state of Sao Paulo. So it's really a huge problem. It's really a huge problem because the south of Brazil, they're like right wing, totally right wing.
@goddekBut the northeast, you know, where people make more children, where people are... much browner right they keep voting for this and you know there are there are really cities that have first of all more votes than people and secondly they get you know you get you get something called Bolsa Familia it's it's a it's a social aid for a family and there are there municipalities with more social aid
@goddekThen families. So it's weird. And it just keeps on going because the people, the PT, like the socialist politicians, they know this is the way they get reelected. So they just take the money from the central government. They distribute it to the people and they keep voting for PT, for the socialists. Because, I mean, like if they stopped doing this, they wouldn't get like two or three boss familia and live a good life without working.
@goddekSo, of course, they keep voting for this. So that's the problem we have.
@joann_marieDo you think Trump's going to... No, no, no, Andy, Andy, no. That's so wild. That also happens in Mexico. And guys, we need to close in like 20 minutes because we have another space. So let's do a speed round. And this is such a great space, Simon. Maybe we should have like another one where we can like actually spend time here.
@joann_marieI know, Joann, sorry.
Ian MalcolmFear not, Jo. We've got a whole lot more on the docket. Joann and I are basically doing like a... three different programs here, this being the first of them. But JoAnn, I like your idea of making sure everybody gets to share their thoughts on this subject before we start to wind down the next 20 minutes or so. And so why don't we do that?
Ian MalcolmBut it is very interesting, Simon, because what you're basically suggesting, it does feel very similar to the inner cities in the United States, people voting for things that they're not getting delivered on. But the difference there is you were mentioning some of the vote tallies and the fact that, at least based on what you're saying,
Ian Malcolmjust feels like it's rampant corruption in the system from the votes where people are just stuffing the ballot boxes and, let's say, rigging the process, of course.
@joann_marieSorry, everyone's here.
Ian MalcolmNope, you're okay. But let's go to Mr. Joe as his hand up, then we'll go to AZAPAC, see if we got Lori or Dr. Echtenwald.
@joahsantosHey, Ian. I'm about to throw fire on the space. That's why I was, like, sad that it was ending. No, bring all the flames.
@joahsantosMy largest client has always been one of the largest VC firms in Brazil. They own Kentucky Fried Chicken. They own almost all the meatpacking places. They own Kraft Foods. They're partners with Warren Buffett. I've been there for years. Anheuser-Busch. I know the market extremely well. And I find it weird. And I've been noticing this for the last two days.
@joahsantosis we know in America the evangelist vote is a ball vote or a manipulated vote. Correct? Like I'm not saying anything wrong here. Oh, sure. 30% of the total votes in Brazil are evangelist votes, which vote overwhelmingly Bolsonaro. Like all of them. Yeah, all of them.
@joahsantosAnd this is what I have an issue with. He's very pro-Zionist. When he was in office, things did not get better. Like many populist movements, I believe, like Simon, I think this is what you were saying, Simon, which is a strong middle class is what makes a healthy country. I firmly believe that. I think that's when America was strong.
@joahsantosThe issue is with populist movements, They promise you that. And then when they get in office, when they can't point at another boogeyman to go after, things don't wind up well. And they always wind up feeding their friends. And this is what happened when Bolsonaro was there, his father. This is what happened with Orban.
@joahsantosThis is what happened with all of them. This is what happened with Trump. His populist movements lie to people, sell them a dream. And then when they can't use the rhetoric of culture wars anymore and point at a new boogeyman, people get fed up and vote them out. And I think that's the big problem. And Simon, you said Brazil was good 20 years ago.
@joahsantosWell, Lula was president 20 years ago. The reason why Northeast votes for them is because he ended extreme poverty in Brazil. Brazil was good in 2020. Okay, well go look at the numbers from 23 to 2010. I think you would look at how much he increased the P, which is GDP.
@goddekWe had the global internet boom, yes. And like other countries were improving way more than Brazil. So he was like surfing the wave. But from 2010 onwards, it was going downwards.
@joahsantosYeah, I don't think anyone ended extreme poverty the way he did from 2003 to 2006 in all of Latin America. Also,
@joahsantosum uh he also had one of the lowest unemployment rates where he when he got in was like 14 and took it down to six percent so you know i'm just looking at numbers i don't i i personally don't like populist presidents i don't i think they're full of shit i think they they lie to the people and they do a bait and switch i actually made a post about it this morning um saying thank god people are waking up to the bait and switch
@joahsantosbecause this is all over here. I have no problem with conservative. I'm literally down the line. I'm not right, not left. But what I don't like and probably what I hate the most are populist candidates because I see it around the world where they'll say it's the migrants. They'll say it's something else. They'll say it's the elite government.
@joahsantosThey'll say whatever. Well, you tell me this. Bolsonaro was supposed to help the poor people, help the people. Why did the stock market drop so much? when they found out that Bolsonaro wasn't going to win. No, because the first thing he was going to do was make a tax cut for corporations. That's helping the people. This is what populist governments do all the time.
@joahsantosThey promise the people a bunch of empty promises. And then what they do is the opposite. They go and cut the corporation's taxes instead of the people's taxes. It's the same thing Trump did. Let's go take care of the mining towns. Let's go take care of the vet hospitals. Let's bring back manufacturing. By the way, do you know manufacturing is dropping in America under Trump?
@joahsantosLet's bring back manufacturing. And then what do they do? They give tax cuts to the corporations. When are we going to wake up that these people flame culture wars for us to back them up? And then what they do is the exact opposite. Why would the stock market go down if he was supposed to be against the global elites? Wake up, people.
@joahsantosThe stock market would go up if he was against the global elites, right? He's not against the global elites. That's why the market went down, because he was going to help the market, the stock market. That's not helping the people. That's not what he runs on. And people need to wake up to populist candidates. It's the same story in every single country because it's the easiest way to win.
@joahsantosIt is the easiest way to win. You fan the flames, you don't do many solutions, and then you do the same shit that the other people were there, but even worse. Lula is the most populist candidate. He is a populist candidate. His whole thing is against the global elites. His whole thing is against the corporate elites. What are you talking about?
@joahsantosThat's populism. That is the people against the elites of Brazil.
@goddekHe's supporting the banks. He got the money from Banco Master. He's like totally part of the system. So maybe you should inform yourself when it comes to Brazil. because it's not like the kind of cozy socialism you have in Europe or something. So you mentioned that Bolsonaro or Jair Bolsonaro was a populist, but during his four years of presidency, and don't forget he was president during the COVID times, he didn't impose any new taxes, nothing.
@goddekWhen Lula got in power again, I think he had like 30 or 40 tax raises all over. And not like on the industry, especially for the poor people. We even have a word here. It's called Tasha Djibouti. So when people want to import something from China for $10, he was taxing them, I think, 40%. So he was going after the poor people and increased the taxes there, which Bolsonaro did not do.
@goddekSo I don't know who's more populist or not. It's basically a tariff.
@joahsantosWhat he did was basically a tariff. It wasn't a tax.
@goddekSorry, a tariff is a tax eventually. In the beginning, it was up to $50. People could import stuff from China, etc. for free, and he just put it all down. And just before the election, he was saying, okay, he canceled his...
@joahsantosBut he didn't do a blanket tariff. What he did was certain industries where Brazil could compete, he raised tariffs. That makes sense for tariffs. What doesn't make sense is blanket tariffs. Everything. It's not everything. I import things into Brazil. I was responsible for doing that. I understand there was different level tariffs from different products and there's products that have no tariffs.
@joahsantosI literally have to deal with this for water coming from Europe.
@goddekIt's not a blanket terror. I told you directly it was about Texas or terrorists, whatever you call it. for imports for Brazil. Because what do poor people in Brazil do? From China, sorry. They order on chain, they order on AliExpress, they get stuff from China and all of them had like this 40% and they still have. Just before the election, just like weeks before the election, he was saying, oh, this is not fair.
@goddekThe Taxa de Brasília is not fair at all. We need to cancel it. You know, he canceled, but now he's going to put it back again. So, you know, who's the socialist here? He's playing a dirty game and you're like... You're supporting this. It's wild. If you talk to people here in Brazil, they're all like, what the fuck is going to happen?
@goddekWhat's happening? And of course, we know the right are populist, the left populist, but Lula is the most populist person ever. Whatever he said before the election, he's doing the opposite right now. Today, he was like, oh, well, let's cut education and transport. He was cutting billions of dollars, not reais, dollars today.
@goddekjust after he got elected. And before the election, he said, no, I'm going to help you guys out. But he does the opposite. Lula is the most, most populist candidate in Brazil by far.
Speaker 2Yeah, I just want... I joined because I got... Hold on, no, no, wait.
@joann_marieHold on, we have a couple of hands and we also have to do a speed round because we just have 10 minutes left. All right, go for it, AZAPAC. I don't know if it's Laurie or Dr. Richter.
@antizioampacHey, it's me.
@joann_marieOh, hi, Dr. Richter.
@antizioampacHi, thanks. I'm on the clock, so I came in on AZAPAC's handle. And sorry to surprise you if I did. Anyway, I don't want to get into a Bolsonaro-Lula debate, right? I'll just say this. I did notice that Suleiman was celebrating Lula's win, victory, or whatever it was. Why? Because he called it a win for anti-Zionism, which I find is a mistake in view for a number of reasons.
@antizioampacBecause, first of all, I think there is such a thing as what I call domestic Zionism, or some people would call it Bolshevism, effectively. So, I don't want to promote that. So, AZAPAC has had that.
@joahsantosI was there when Bolsonaro led a parade of pro-Israel down the avenue in Sao Paulo. I literally was there.
@antizioampacYeah, yeah, I'm not saying he's not a Zionist, okay? So, you know, frankly, I mean, I would like to see a candidate that would be different than both of these two candidates altogether. Frankly, Bolsonaro seems to me to be like, uh a kind of trump replica of some sort and or verse vice versa i mean it just it doesn't strike me as legitimate uh i think uh just like trump was a trojan horse you know um he was like joe said effectively a it was a bait and switch routine what was really you know what he put it on the on the label was america first and what we got was uh
@antizioampacZionism Incorporated, and deference to Jews, no matter what. That's truly what we got.
@antizioampacBut Lula doesn't strike me as a good alternative to that either, frankly. I would like to see something like a Massey-type candidate emerge eventually. Somebody that puts the country first but doesn't do it by virtue of, you know, that doesn't mean handouts to corporations. It doesn't mean handouts to Israel. That doesn't mean all of these handouts.
@antizioampacIt means Americans first. Not the country as such, but Americans first and only. That's what we need. And I don't care what the hell we label it. I'm sure they'll call it National Socialism, but I'd like to see free trade between nations, totally free. And I'd like to see much smaller government, especially in the United States.
@antizioampacAnd I absolutely stand for, and this is AZAPAC's firm conviction, that all of the illegal aid to Israel should end immediately and that means all of it because all at the federal level at least all of the aid that we give to Israel is actually illegal every single dime is prohibited by the uh by two amendments or two amendments yes uh the Glenn and uh Symington uh um acts or amendments so
@antizioampacThese two prohibit giving any aid at all to a non-declared nuclear power, which of course Israel is. So I don't mean to move it over towards Israel, but I do. But anyway, that's all I'll say. I don't think domestic Zionism is the right choice either. So, you know, I'd like to see more real true, you know, you know,
@antizioampacCitizens First Government in all countries and then free trade between all countries. I don't like tariffs. I don't like any of the taxes that are imposed on trade. I think greater trade makes for a greater world and everybody is enriched by virtue of it. So, and free enterprise is the way to go, of course. Totally free enterprise.
@antizioampacThe less regulations, the less government intervention and interference, the better. keep them the hell out you know the real thieves are the state that's who that's who robs us and you know they rob us in our instance now they rob us for Israel as it's as it were through you know through our um through taxes and through the federal reserves you know outrageous printing of money or creation of money the whole nine yards and through taxation you know they're robbing us for Israel
@antizioampacAnyway, that's all I have for today, and thanks for having me out.
@joahsantosLet's hope Serbia inspires a lot of people, Dr. Rosenwald.
@joann_marieYes, and thank you so much for coming out, Dr. Richter. Okay, guys, remember, it's a speed round. We need to close in five minutes. We have another space coming. All right, Tom, go for it.
@transformer444Yeah, thanks, JoAnn. Thanks, Ian. So, great space. Good to see you guys up here. So, you know, you mentioned a Trump replica, and You're right, but I'd say he's more of a Trump mimic. And there are many candidates that were vying for high-level positions in politics in Latin America that were literally branding themselves as Trump mimics.
@transformer444And none of them pulled it off effectively. Obviously, there's nothing attractive about mimicking Trump at this stage in the game, but many, many candidates throughout the region were literally copying and pasting the formula that Dr. Simon just described. And about a Massey-like candidate in Brazil... I think it's possible in the future.
@transformer444However, right now, I don't see it as being likely because incredibly in Brazil, very few people, and I'd be interested to hear any pushback on this, but in Brazil right now, very few people are aware of even a fraction of the issues that are often discussed in these X spaces regarding the absurdly outsized... Amen. Pardon?
@froemelandyAmen. You are correct. I'm from Brazil.
@transformer444Yeah, yeah. Regarding the outsized... An absurdly outsized influence of Israeli and, let's say, Epstein-class elites on their domestic politics. And Dr. Goddick also mentioned earlier that throughout Brazil, most citizens aren't really concerned about the, let's say, pro-Israeli extremism or hysteria. Let's use the word hysteria that you see on the Bolsonaro side.
@transformer444And the reason I say that is because there wasn't a 9-11 in Brazil. There wasn't anything that's attributed to, there wasn't trillions of dollars that have been spent on projects that don't benefit the United States that are attributed to the state of Israel. So it's a very different comparison in that regard. And people are waking up very slowly to this.
@transformer444They've woken up perhaps to the fact that Bolsonaro was very much in that camp. But I agree with Dr. Goddick. I think overall, it would have been better for the vast majority of Brazilian people in the long run, in the short term, even in the midterm, if someone who's not part of the censorship hysteria cartel because this judge, Mr. Moraes, he is the most hardcore censorship enforcement agent on planet Earth today.
@transformer444And really, really quickly, I was wondering if Dr. Goddick has also noticed, have you also thought about the possibility that what we're seeing now with respect to very prominent figures like Gal Gadot or Ron Lauder now breaking ranks with Benjamin Netanyahu, could that have something to do with, because the way I was looking at it, there was no way they were going to let
@transformer444Thanks, guys. Appreciate it.
Speaker 3Excellent job on the speed. Thank you, Tom. Dr. Simon, would you like to add something from super speed to that?
Speaker 3Can you guys hear Dr. Simon?
@joann_marieNo, he's good. I'm going to recycle you, Dr. Simon. All right. Mighty, go for it.
@mighty6thorYeah, what's up, gang? Got speed round. Okay.
@mighty6thorI don't think I'm capable of that unless we're talking the 100 or 200 meters 20 years ago. Okay, I am on steroids, though. Don't tell anyone, the 280 people of you in this space. It's a secret. Okay, so I'll just share two quotes that kind of explain everything. Okay, one is from, Jesus, one is from 1936. Everybody should memorize this to understand what's going on because I still hear people saying, God, what's better, the communists or the Zionists?
@mighty6thorRight? But communism is the international tool of Zionist Jewish oligarchs to decompose and destroy a nation. Okay? The term useful idiots comes from guys like Yuri Bezmenov when he described communism, ideological subversion in that 1984 interview. So, in other words, the commies are just the fucking paid for controlled opposition if the Zionists, the true Israel first don't come
@mighty6thorokay so everybody should be a nationalist everybody should love their country their people seal the borders and all opportunity productivity and prosperity should go to the citizens of your community your state and your nation unfortunately there are a whole lot of I don't want to dehumanize them with third-worlders but there are a whole lot of people who will take the opportunities if a corrupt government
@mighty6thorAll of these Zionist nationalists who promised, I think it was Joe saying it, who promised this, that and the other.
@mighty6thorAnd as soon as they get into office, I guess Netanyahu or Likud or whoever the fuck tells them, no, no, no, this is the policy you're going to implement. And I'm starting to wonder for quite a while now, do they just, through a massage, do they just threaten to assassinate you and your family if you don't do their bidding?
@mighty6thorOkay, so that quote was from 1936. Onisimo Redondo, a Roman Catholic fanatic or phalangist who fought against Spain's The other quote that came to mind when you were talking, 1920, February 8th, the Honorable Retired Winston Spencer Leonard Churchill
@mighty6thorwho basically wrote an article titled Zionism versus Bolshevism the struggle for the soul of the Jewish people and we can get rid of the term Bolshevik because it just meant one of the majority in Russia back during the revolution of 1917 October
@mighty6thorThat 1922, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin created the USSR, created the Communist Party, replaced the word Bolshevik with Communist, essentially. Let's reread that 1920 article to read Zionism versus Communism, the struggle for the soul of the Jewish people. And my God, the crux of the matter, I'm almost done, JoAnn, I see your little Nazi salute, Missy.
@mighty6thorPeople need to rise up and realize they cannot continue to be in power. I shared one video down in the pill. It's of who? Barbara Lerner Spector, who in 2010 founded this Jewish institute of learning called Padea in Stockholm, Sweden. And in the video, maybe no one's seen the first of two videos in the clip I put down in the pill, she says, oh, this nationalism Spector.
@mighty6thorThat was her last name. She probably didn't use that word. The specter of nationalism is rising again. In other words, the populists' love for their people and nation is rising again. And we just can't allow it to happen unless it's in Israel. Because we Jews, she says this, not me, we Jews are the elites. And she means globally.
@mighty6thorSo when are people going to wake up and realize they have captured all of our governments, just our freedom in general. And yeah, they... They'll tax us to death on the left, and on the right, they'll foment wars for greater Israel. Okay, I'll leave it at that. I give up.
Ian MalcolmHoly shit. Mighty, that was a mighty wonderful way to close down this conversation. So it's worth noting two things. Number one, I want to thank both Dr. Simon. God, if you came in, again, very... personally familiar with all of the ins and outs of this election what it means for his country as well as Vicky Richter came in international journalist who had spent a lot of time specifically not only with Simon but with Simon with some of these politicians so it's really neat to be able to get that first-hand encounter and experience this was kind of a pop-up ad hoc thing I want to thank Simon and also Vicky for carving out a little bit of a time with us we are as part of a three
Ian MalcolmThank everybody for the professional demeanor.
Ian Malcolmalways the very very high IQ high intellect discourse around these subjects so we're going to move from this if anybody's interested in continuing the dialogue Well, it actually might be somewhat of a monologue because we're going to pivot and we're going to go from the stern to the comical. And so we're going to be opening up that space in T minus 30 seconds.
Ian MalcolmJoAnn just put that up into the nest. It should be a lot of laughs. We've got literally a stand up comedian who also is extremely familiar with the ins and outs of the very subject that Mighty Thor just laid out that obviously Simon and everybody else that is up here in this room is very critically, acutely aware of. So I look forward.
Ian MalcolmI'm going to open that up. hopefully everybody can come over there join in the discourse we've got three hours with Tommy and then after that we've got a conversation uh that's going to be on the ancient history uh that we are going to be discussing of the United States which should be very very curious to get that as well so lots on the docket look forward to joining all of you in that dialogue in the monologue that's uh shortly going to be following here with our comic uh you're also able to view his stream he's going to be putting that up onto his platforms as well so if you want
Ian MalcolmThank you so much to everybody that was in here, especially again to Dr. Simon Goddick, the one and only, as well as Vicky Richter. Look forward to that next discourse with you guys. Bye.
