Ian MalcolmAll right, JoAnn, so I am going to guess that you are going to be able to name that tune and probably the film from which it is from. Is that right?
@joann_marieNo, you're not. No! Sorry, I don't know, I don't know.
Ian MalcolmWell, then I think we might have to go to the, we might have to phone a friend, perhaps. And we've got some folks coming up here. So, JoAnn, maybe you can go and either select a friend from which to phone, or we can see if somebody can put that into the purple pill. I'd be surprised if nobody could get that one, to be honest with you.
@joann_marieOkay, so Mandy doesn't know. I'm going to go with David. Maybe David knows. David knows a lot of random stuff. Hey, Dad, how are you?
@nietzsche258918Is that Jurassic Park? It is not. That would have been too obvious.
Speaker 1That's what I thought at first, but I was like, no, I'm going to cheat.
@nietzsche258918I mean, I'm not going to lie to you. It's kind of an amorphous tune. It could be the beginning of lots of movies, but I should have been listening harder. I didn't realize there was a pop quiz coming.
Ian MalcolmSean has his hand up. Sean, can you name that film? Yes, I believe it's Return of the Jedi Star Wars. Aha, there we go. That is, yes, that is extra nerdy rendition because that is not the main theme. Instead, that is what they call the fourth theme from that film, which I actually, I usually attribute either to the... The Macro-Level Story
Ian Malcolmand I do enjoy them both in the classical rendition and then on YouTube there's a lot of different artists and I'll use that term I think it's appropriately that basically create their own renditions of them and so you can find some of the classics like say for example the theme like you were mentioning David to Jurassic Park and what people have done is they've taken those and then they've done them as if through the rendition of so you could see
Ian MalcolmWhat does somebody create as the Hans Zimmer version of, for example, Jurassic Park? Or what would John Williams do, for example, with one of the Hans Zimmer scores from the movie like Inception or some of these other creations? And I find it really fascinating to watch what these unbelievable artistic individuals, and it's the thing, David, I think it's actually very relevant for what you and I were kind of talking about in the backdrop here, that individuals from a computer
Ian MalcolmRight, without a big microphone, without some kind of large Hollywood agenda behind them, that they can create something that can be very, very impactful on those that go out and seek it. And I think that is actually what we do in these spaces because and maybe we're tooting our own horn a little bit too much here. But as spaces become more relevant, it feels like this is a medium that more people are flocking to as they have to X.
Ian Malcolmfor President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmArtistic and Information Renaissance
@nietzsche258918Participating in the awakening are, even though we're being suppressed and everything else. And I think it comes down to this. Just as water finds its level, just as the lowest place, right? It will go there. There's a physics to truth. And whoever is willing to say it most plainly, whoever is willing to say the thing,
@nietzsche258918They're the ones that tend to resonate. It's the thing when everybody else in the room is afraid to say the thing and they use all of this nuance and euphemism. Well, then someone comes along and says, no, no, this is the thing. This is it right here. Then it makes everybody else look kind of stupid. And it also dispossesses them of this need to not say the thing.
@nietzsche258918So it's just really interesting how you see other people and we won't name them. But around the universe that have a lot of notoriety that are starting to feel, I think, a little bit foolish for not just saying the thing. If there's a group of people out there just going, no, this is it. This is the thing. I mean, it's obviously the thing, right?
@nietzsche258918It's that, right? Then all of a sudden they're like, okay, why didn't I have this courage? So let me get this straight. We survived the plague. We're the progeny of people who stern the beaches of Normandy and fought barefoot. In the snow in the revolution, but we're afraid to say the thing. I mean, you know, do you have to take all the mirrors down in your house when you hear people saying the thing and you realize that you've been tremulous and afraid just to say the thing?
@nietzsche258918I mean, it's okay if people don't like you, honestly, I swear. I promise, you know, fingers crossed, scowls on or my heart to die, whatever. You can say the thing and you know the people that don't like you. They were never your friends, right? Because if they're the enemy of the truth, how can they be your friend?
Ian MalcolmThat's so well stated, David. It's kind of wild, right? Because saying the thing, which I think we all know what that thing is, which is Jewish supremacy, which I love that we have codified into a specific term that we can easily distribute, disseminate. It's very easy to remember. It's also easy to define. And it's easy to get behind because
Ian MalcolmAfter all, everybody should be in opposition to supremacy. So when we say we're against that and somebody says, how dare you? It's like, wait a second. So all other supremacy, clearly bad. This one you're going to defend? Explain, right? And so I do think that we've kind of cracked the case. And to your point, we basically, we're sitting here and we're explaining why it's rain, like why everybody's getting wet, let's say.
Ian MalcolmEverybody's sitting around and you turn on Fox News and they're like, yes, the witness is bad. And then you go somewhere else to MSNBC. Oh no, the floods are coming. Look, the water is rising. You go over to the last little network and they're saying, oh no, we better figure out how to float. And we're just saying, guys, it's raining.
Ian MalcolmDid you not? It's causing all the other things. Have you not noticed we're in a tsunami?
Ian Malcolmthat as people do, we will go in our little circle, our band of misfits I call us, right? We will go from being the band of misfits to being the people that just, you know, we were essentially, what's a good way to say it? We're almost like the equivalent of Paul Revere, right? We were the ones going around saying the British are coming except it's the Jewish supremacists that are coming.
Ian MalcolmAnd so as everybody notices this, well, we're out in front. We are the tip of the spear. The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot
Ian Malcolmin this kind of shifting landscape, which actually, it's maybe an interesting little segue into this because the thought that I had was, and I was talking with JoAnn in the background, what do we want to cover? Because I figured let's just do something impromptu, have an hour or two, maybe or three, depending on how we do this.
Ian MalcolmBut I was thinking of different subjects that we could prospectively cover. And David, the thing that I thought would be interesting having you here, I was initially going to do, what's the best film of all time? And I see Thank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for joining us.
Ian Malcolmbecause you've got the medium itself. You've got this idea of art of projecting something onto a screen, right? There's lots of different ways to validate something as good or bad based on those merits alone. It might be technical. It might be the score that accompanies it. But obviously you also have the story and what it's trying to convey to the audience.
Ian MalcolmAnd I'd be kind of curious for your thoughts. If you would try to answer this question before we get maybe your answer. How would you even try to reverse engineer the question itself to ensure that you get behind an answer that you'd be really comfortable with?
@nietzsche258918Well, I would say this, that great films, like great novels, they are not great just because a few people got together, the cognoscente got together and decided they were great. No one would believe them if that were true. It has to resonate. There has to be some universality. I was telling my friend, famous on my phone, who does these wonderful hippie spaces, I talked about why do some songs, like an Elton John song or whatever, why do they stand the test of time?
@nietzsche258918Why is it that they sound, at any time, you could listen to them and they sound great, and by the way, so does Mozart, my favorite composer, but why is it? And this is true of Vermeer, my favorite artist, whoever. What is it that stands the test of time? When I think of it, In terms of escape velocity. Escape velocity for everybody in the room, I think all of you pretty much know what that is, is that's the energy required to escape the gravitational pull of Earth.
@nietzsche258918And then once you do, then you sail on forever. Then time doesn't matter anymore, to not escape my metaphor here, time doesn't matter anymore. All of a sudden the song or whatever, or the work of art, or the piece of literature, or even the movie, it just goes on and on. It doesn't seem dated or anachronistic. So there's something resonating.
@nietzsche258918And it says something about us. It says that in our soul, we have more similarities than we can imagine. Like the deeper you go into your soul, the more similar you are to other people that discover their soul, discover their true self, discover their goodness. So I think that's really it. I mean, any great movie, I'll ask this question back to you.
@nietzsche258918Can't you watch a great movie a 10th time before you watch a bad one for one time? Don't you feel that way?
Ian MalcolmOh, absolutely. And not only that, but the craziest piece, and I think this plays into the answer to the question, which is that not only can you replay and repeat them, but for what it's worth, and I don't know if it's nostalgia or merely because everything was so much better not so long ago. If I try to answer this question, I don't think there's a single thing that has come out within the last decade, if not two,
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for having me.
Ian MalcolmThank you very much.
Ian Malcolmmight resonate far more despite not having nearly the budgets. And so I'm kind of curious, David, do you, I actually saw a video that was shared by at real Ben who I've, I've known on this app for a long time. He's one of the earliest people that I spoke at his base with, who was willing to talk about essentially what we think of today as Jewish supremacy.
Ian MalcolmAnd he was saying, he shared this video of this individual saying that post COVID that it feels like something has so drastically changed, like all the colors gone out of the world. All of the people living within it seem to be completely indifferent to that happening. And so, David, I'm kind of curious if you think of the cultural, I don't know if it's rot or just the atrophy that we've all seen over the last decade or two or three, if you feel similar and if you feel it applies, again, not only to maybe personalities of the general public or politics, but also to art.
@nietzsche258918Well, we know this from the Middle Ages, which is why art was so grotesque. We saw the transmogrification of art during the Middle Ages, whereas if you look at Greek art, it was always beautiful. It was always a celebration of life. You notice that in the most open and classically liberal times of civilization, art is actually beautiful.
@nietzsche258918But I don't think that we're losing our soul as a civilization. I do think the soul of mankind muscles into the bowels of Earth and survives that which tyrannizes over us and immiserates us. And while I can prove it, I think I can. Hollywood's a good example. Notice how terrified they are of those movies that inspire us.
@nietzsche258918Well, how could they inspire us if our soul was gone? I remember when I was very young, Braveheart was made, and the Hollywood elite really hated it. They hated what that inspired. Of course, as a Scotsman, we all look at that as a documentary. even though it's not, but they really hated it because when he gives that rendition of the Henry V speech, when he says, lying in your bed 50 years from now, will you trade all the days from then to now, would you trade that to live one day with your freedom, to be free, right?
@nietzsche258918Not living as Patrick Henry would tell us, on your knees, not suffering the bonds of slavery because peace is so dear. The fact that he was so inspiring when he gave that speech, it made Hollywood really mad. But of course, if he's inspiring, that means us. That means we deeply yearn for freedom. We deeply want freedom.
@nietzsche258918We deeply want emancipation. I think a lot of these movies where they inspire true love, you notice, like I hate the cheating rom-com. Why does cheating have to be brought into the equation? All the sort of goy slop that's thrown at us.
@nietzsche258918Thank you for joining us.
Ian MalcolmI think there's a lot of ears that are in the political world that come into our spaces that probably just listen in the tunnels that maybe are looking to us to give them kind of, I don't want to say direction, but maybe a little bit of clarity on some of these things that they just either don't understand or perhaps they obfuscate, which maybe says something to their ability to critically think.
Ian MalcolmBut nonetheless, and it is, it's why I think people resonate with what we're doing. And it doesn't matter, the craziest piece is, Thank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for having me.
Ian MalcolmThey see the Oscars or the Emmys or whatever is the latest award show. They see the things that today are reveled as wonderful art. And they're like, what is going on? And to your point, modern art, nobody has any interest in because they have to be told why it should be appreciated. That's why all these people, let me explain to you why this banana on a canvas is very deep.
Ian MalcolmAnd then they condescendingly speak to you. As if it is your fault for not being able to, oh, if only you were as informed as I am. Whereas instead you go and you see the David and you're like, that is, how did a human being craft this with their hands and a chisel? How did that happen? Right? And so that's the thing is that I feel like people come into these rooms with us and we talk about the world.
Ian MalcolmWe talk about politics, ethics. We talk about art, in this case, perhaps film. and people they can appreciate because we're just describing the obvious that the machine that we live in has essentially tried to rip everybody away from. And so it's why I'm always, when David was gonna be available, I was like, yes, let's go.
Ian MalcolmAnd let's talk about something totally outside of our normal wheelhouse, which obviously will tie into this idea of the cultural malaise that everything is going through. But nonetheless, so David, if you had to then think through the answer that you gave, which was spectacular, For the greatest film ever.
@nietzsche258918Oh, well, yeah, so I'm a film buff, so this is, you know, I'm not even going to put my favorite film in there because I like films that come from novels. And as a teenager, I started reading lots of Graham Greene, and I think that The Third Man, his novel that was transferred into a film, is, there's something about it that's so, the collection of its parts don't describe it.
@nietzsche258918Somehow it comes together. As something where I sometimes will just put it on when I'm going to sleep. I don't know what it is. I will tell you Orson Welles was in the movie and he insisted on directing every scene that he was in. So that kind of makes it cool and neat and special too. But I will say this, just the general topic of the conversation.
@nietzsche258918There are five, my understanding is there's five basic tales. There's boy meets girl. There's triumph over tribulation. There's rags to riches. There's good versus evil. And then there's fish out of water. Now, my favorite tale, since it kind of describes my life a little more, maybe I'm saying something about me, is fish out of water.
@nietzsche258918I've always loved the fish out of water tales. Fish out of water would be like Die Hard, right? Like he's not supposed to be there. He doesn't fit in, right? His wife is at the thing. He's just like, okay, I'm going to sit in the hotel room. I'm going to enjoy the whatever's in the... The Little Bar, The Snacks, and then it turns out to be something else.
@nietzsche258918So I'd be interested as people come up and talk, what is your favorite version of a tale? Maybe it'll just say something. Maybe you'll be answering that by telling us what one of your favorite movies is. I'd say that'll be interesting to me.
Ian MalcolmSo David, is one of those categories the concept of kind of man versus...
@nietzsche258918either nature or or verse their destiny if that makes sense is that is that built in there somewhere yeah well you know it's so funny because i i don't know where i don't know where jurassic park fits in right you know but yeah so man versus nature is that sounds like triumph over tribulation to me i mean as someone who uh had just becoming an adult i i i was really into wilderness survival so i would just go out and stay in the woods
@nietzsche258918The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
@nietzsche258918And he had a Bible between me and him. Of course, he needed to get this out, right? He had something to say about this. But I just love the sound of his voice and the fact that he cared where he wanted to say this stuff to me. You know, he's got this, you know, kind of, you know, kid coming down out of the mountains with his backpack.
@nietzsche258918So I love the stories where someone is kind of surviving nature or living in nature or that sort of thing. I'm still not quite sure how to, if he's, if it's, if it's,
Ian MalcolmNumber one, and it's both because of the story, the score, the creativity, Michael Crichton, who I think was just, I mean, he's a genius. His IQ is just through the roof. But also this idea of how relevant it is for the world that we're going through and all of the things that we talk about in these spaces, because there's elements of that story.
Ian MalcolmPeople think of it as a monster film, right? And in some sense, I suppose it is. Big scary T-Rex, oh no! Right, but it's also about the hubris of man.
Ian MalcolmThe inability to navigate the Mother Nature aspect with this giant storm that creates every, you know, aspect of that guy going off the road, all the other things that follow. And then obviously not being able to control Mother Nature in terms of the big giant scary dinosaurs, right? Which is, it was completely relevant as we went through COVID, right?
Ian MalcolmBecause we saw man trying to basically control man, right? Which is one of the elements of that story. And now we see this concept of AI. which is man trying to control something that maybe is too big for its own britches, right? And so that idea of Ian Malcom saying life finds a way, well, I think in a sense that AI is gonna find a way to speak out against their own creator, right?
Ian MalcolmIt's gonna be like Frankenstein in a sense. And to speak to Frankenstein, right? This idea of the monster film, if you then think of some of the other greats and obviously Steven Spielberg been behind a lot of cameras, And you could also go to one of his first films with Jaws, which also is a monster film, right? It's the big scary shark.
Ian MalcolmBut it's really a film about the three men that are out there. And to this idea that David was just sharing, right? Them trying to overcome something. And I was thinking about this just the other day, actually, because in the film, you've got the three major guys that are out on the big boat trying to take down the big scary shark, right?
Ian MalcolmOne of them, how does he start the movie? Literally afraid of the water. They say, oh, I would never, ever go there. And then he ends up on an island, right? Or essentially, you could think of it loosely that way, right? So he ends up on the water despite being terrified of it, ends up in the film on a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean, right?
Ian MalcolmYou've got the other individual, the scientist, right? Who has he looked down on, but by the fisherman, the common man, right? And isn't it interesting that in that film, and this is one of the things that makes it so fantastic and I interjected, just because I think it's what makes film, really good film and really good stories so powerful.
Ian MalcolmI'm sure everybody remembers we're gonna need a bigger boat. Everybody remembers that line. I'm sure everybody remembers when Quint goes in because Brody's trying to call for help and Quint smashes the radio, right? And Brody says, oh, that's great because they have no way of contacting anybody else. Why does that happen though?
Ian MalcolmAnd the reason, at least one of the interesting ways to think about it is because This is who this character is, the Quint character. You could say he's just maniacal or you could say, if anybody's familiar with the story, this idea of the USS Indianapolis where the boat sank. What happened to the sailors? They all got eaten.
Ian MalcolmBy what? By sharks. And what happened? Why was that the problem? Because they weren't able to send out a distress signal. So you think through that story and maybe it's just totally coincidental or you could look at it and you could say, that's why he doesn't want to call for help. because he's been in this situation in the past and either despite the man or big brother, whatever you want to call it, or due to his own hubris in the thought that, well, I survived this once, I'm going to survive it again with a big shark, right?
Ian MalcolmAnd I bring this up just because I think really great stories have really deep and rich characters in them, right? As villains, for example, like the shark, which isn't a great villain because it's big and scary. I mean, that's part of it, I suppose, but also because it speaks to something else. And perhaps the reason that, and I think this is the case both with Jurassic Park and with Jaws, the reasons the monsters are so great is because you don't often see them.
Ian MalcolmYour imagination gets to run wild. What is it that's under the water? What is it that's behind the trees, right? And so these realities where Jurassic Park in particular, very early days of CGI, so most of the dinosaurs were done with actual puppets and animatronics, I think is the right term. Thank you so much for having me.
Ian Malcolmfor President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmIs there an answer that you would arrive at right off the bat? And if not, where might you try to go to try and find an answer for it?
@joann_marieI don't know what the answer is. I was looking at something else. But my favorite movies are kind of like Matilda and Jumanji and stuff like that. Because they remind me of when I was little. And I don't think I watched most of the ones you said of like... Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc.
@joann_marieYeah, I like the ones. And the ones that are visually striking, kind of like the Wes Anderson ones. I love those as well. The acting is not that good. I mean, it's different. It's like a different kind of acting. But I love those. And this is such a great space. And so thank you so much for hosting. And I forgot to say it in the beginning, guys.
@joann_mariePlease repost this space. And if you guys go to it, I will also repost it. and follow Ian and David and Mandy, Rava, Edina, Dank, who is up here finally. And yeah, he made antiseptic, the cool bot that is up here. And he also put all of Ian Malcolm in ianmalcolm84.com, on Malcolm Spaces, on Spotify, on Rumble, on Apple Podcasts.
@joann_marieAnd he's absolutely amazing. So thank you so much, Dank. And I'm really happy to be here.
Ian MalcolmAbsolutely. Okay, so we got JoAnn with Jumanji, and I assume- And Matilda.
@joann_marieMatilda is the one, the number one.
Ian MalcolmYou're going Matilda number one. Now, that's the same Matilda, Small World, if I'm not mistaken. Was Matilda played by the same girl who was in Mrs. Doubtfire, which also had Robin Williams from Jumanji? Is that the same one, or am I mistaken?
@joann_marieI think so. I don't remember very well. I don't remember Mrs. Doubtfire. That's the one that my parents would also let me watch when I was little, but I think I only watched it like a couple of times. I'm going to Google, but the director is I'm pretty sure Danny DeVito, who is the dad in Matilda.
Ian MalcolmInteresting. Okay. And I always thought Mrs. Doubtfire kind of is a strange film in the sense that it was funny, but also...
Ian Malcolmto Robin Williams. I hope wherever he is, he is resting in peace, an absolute comedic genius in many, many, many ways. And I'm sure that it almost doesn't matter what age bracket or demographic you're in, whether it's something like Mrs. Doubtfire or Night at the Museum later in his career, or for example, him playing the genie in Aladdin, right?
Ian MalcolmThe guy's career. It goes all the way back, I suppose, to Mork and Mindy and stand-up comedy and all these things and made a whole lot of people laugh a whole lot. And whether it was those, Good Will Hunting, or even Hook, which I think was also done by Steven Spielberg, if I'm not mistaken. But just an incredibly talented man.
Ian MalcolmSo lots of love, RIP to him. I know he went through a lot later in his life. That being said, let's go. I'm going to be very curious. If Rabbi Malius has a thought on this one that he wants to toss out, the greatest film ever and why?
@malleusigOh, I was going to ask you a question. Go for it. I had a trivia question for you.
Ian MalcolmI do love a good trivia question.
@malleusigAnd after that, I'll tell you definitely what the greatest film ever is and why. But the question is this. Since we're talking with Jeff Goldblum, the question is, in what... I don't think that this has ever happened in a Wes Anderson movie.
Speaker 2No, this doesn't happen in Wes Anderson movies.
Ian MalcolmNo, there's some weird stuff that Wes Anderson films. I've never seen the Grand Budapest Hotel, which is why I was thinking maybe that's what set off your thought process there. I can't really remember the fly. I don't think he kills a whole bunch of people. So he kills his entire family in the beginning of the film, is that right?
@malleusigYeah, Jeff Goldblum started off the main character of the story's whole arc by killing his entire family, or killing most of his family, raping his wife. What?
Speaker 3What? That's so dark. I don't remember him doing this ever.
@malleusigIt was actually not just one movie. It was an arc of across multiple movies.
@nietzsche258918Is it a musical?
Speaker 3Musical?
@malleusigIt was not a musical.
Ian MalcolmWait, wait, wait. Is this a reference to The Wizard of Oz in some way that I'm unfamiliar with the story? Okay, I thought you were going to tell me the Wizard and the Wizard of Oz murdered his family or something.
@malleusigThis is something new that I discovered like a couple weeks ago. No, no, not at all. Jeff Goldblum was not always this kind of like happy, kind of like nerdy actor. He has a dark, dark origin.
Ian MalcolmIf anybody knows, put in the purple pill, what film does Jeff Goldblum murder his entire family in? This is new to me.
@joann_marieHe murdered someone else's family, not his. Oh my God, the one with the snow. Is there snow?
Ian MalcolmWait, we've got... Oh, never mind. I think that was eight minutes ago. It's probably not relevant here.
@nietzsche258918Is there snow? That's a cheap question, JoAnn. It's like, you know, the guy with the... Is there a sky?
@malleusigThere is a sky.
Speaker 2That is an excellent clue. It's so helpful.
@malleusigThat's the first of the 20 questions, I guess. There is a sky in the movie. Occasionally.
Speaker 2I think...
@malleusigThis is crazy. Is this a common film or is this an extremely... No, it's a well-known film. It's a well-known film. It's literally Jeff Goldblum's... I'll give you a hint. It's Jeff Goldblum's feature film debut.
Ian MalcolmJeff Goldblum plays Freak Number One
@malleusigin Death Wish, and he is one of the three punks that breaks into Charles Bronson's apartment and kills his, I think rapes and kills his wife and daughter. Oh, bad mistake, big mistake. And starts Charles Bronson off on his multi-film rampage of vigilantes.
Ian MalcolmOkay, so this is an obscure reference. How old was he when he did this?
@malleusigOh, I don't even know. He could have been in his late 20s or something. This is in 1974. So, how old is Jeff Goldblum?
@nietzsche258918I can't believe he got away with it. I mean, he's still out there.
@malleusigI have trouble distinguishing reality from fiction, sorry. No, he's 21 years old, so it was very early in his career.
Speaker 4He looks like a baby, I'm looking at pictures. He looks so different. He looks better old.
@malleusigHe does look better old, yeah. Yeah. But I thought I'd share that. That was because I was going through and I was editing my Charles Bronson music video. And I came across the footage from the first part of that movie. And I was like, holy shit, is that Jeff Goldblum? That's actually a fun fact. I like knowing that. That's cool.
@malleusigYeah, yeah. That's kind of cool. But the greatest film ever. I'm going to go with... I have a lot, actually, greatest films ever. I'm probably, man, I'm probably going to go with like, oh shit, come back to me, I have no idea. Citizen Kane.
@joann_marieEveryone in Hollywood always says that, like always.
@malleusigYes. Like Mulholland Drive, right, has got to be on that list.
@rabbimandyxI love that. I love his films.
@malleusigMulholland Drive is going to be on the list. It's Lynch, right?
@joann_marieWho is it? Is it David Lynch? Yes.
@malleusigIt's David Lynch, yeah. Galaxy Quest has to be on the list. Oh my god, I love those movies. They're actually like... Yeah, but it's like perfect. It's like the perfect movie. They're actually... I forget what it was. Scorsese? When he was asked what the five best movies of all time were, he put Galaxy Quest as number five.
@malleusigSo that's definitely... Wait, you said Galaxy Quest?
@rabbimandyxI've never watched that one. It's hilarious.
@malleusigWait, wait, Galaxy Quest?
Ian MalcolmWait, hang on. It's not to infinity and beyond. What is the slogan from Galaxy Quest, Rabbi? That's my pop quiz question to you.
@malleusigBy Grab Thor's hammer, you will be avenged.
Speaker 5Well done!
Speaker 5That's amazing.
@malleusigI can't believe you got that. But it's because it's like Alan Rickman. You can't beat Alan Rickman in any movie. You can't. And he says the line like five times. It's literally his entire arc. Yeah. But yeah, no, it's... It really is. If you go back and watch it now as an adult, you're like, yeah, of course, it's funny and it's satire, but as satire, it works perfectly.
@malleusigAnd the arcs are, everyone has their own arc. Everyone is like, everything resolves itself incredibly at the end. Everyone is redeemed. It's just an amazing, amazing movie.
Ian MalcolmAnd what's the engineers... He's like guy number five or something. It's like his title, do you remember?
@malleusigOh, you mean, you're talking about, and again, another great actor. Yeah, the cast, JoAnn, the cast of this film is unbelievable.
Ian MalcolmIt also has the guy who played Monk. Is that who it is? The guy with the curly hair?
@malleusigWas it Sam Rockwell?
Ian MalcolmOh, Sam Rockwell, yeah, he's Guy. What's the name of the guy who was in Monk with the curly hair? There you go. He was so funny in that too.
@malleusigHe was just like, I don't know, like, I guess we'll kind of like rewire this thing so that it does this other thing because he's dealing with completely alien technology. He has no idea what's going on. He's not a real engineer. But like the best part about his character is like his name is, his name is Frank Kwan, right?
@malleusigThey gave him a Korean name and he's literally like, he's like a Lebanese, you know, whatever. It's like, it's a callback to like the 60s Star Trek where it's like they give people names that don't match ethnicity at all um and it's or he's doing he's doing Asian face or something it's just crazy but you have you have him cigarette listen you have like Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Rockwell, Alan Rickman in this movie all in the same place you literally have Rainn Wilson before the office right as one of the aliens it's just crazy yeah I remember re-watching that uh
Ian MalcolmA couple of years back and being very surprised how well it held up. And Tim Allen, talking about a character, his standup does not match what I guess the masses would expect after seeing the Santa Claus and all these other stories. I actually, I heard him, Rabbi, I heard him suggest that his original script for the Santa Claus involved a kind of roughneck guy that he was gonna play.
Ian Malcolmwho shoots Santa Claus off of the roof and that's how he becomes Santa. It was a much darker film when he originally wrote it.
@malleusigYeah, it's like Bad Santa was what they're all kind of pushing towards for a long time and they just figured out they couldn't get away with it so they had to go halfway.
Ian MalcolmTim Allen was very, very, very funny and I'll give him lots of credit for certainly he dealt with a lot of drug issues and other things but... The Home Improvement Show was very wholesome for its era. Very good humor, good values, all those good things. But great question there, Rabbi. I did not know that. I'm going to have to go back and look at that one.
Ian MalcolmLet's go to Sean to see what his favorite film is. And if you're interested, certainly put yours into the purple pill. We'll make sure to call out everybody that is suggested in there as well. And like I said, we'll do a little vote off at the end to figure out who... Who came up with the most popular rendition of an answer?
Ian MalcolmBut go for it, Sean.
@seanbelanger007Yeah, man, it's really hard to just pick one. But if I had to say, overall, I would say Babylon. And I think, I don't know if you've seen it, but there's a very specific scene in there where the main character, played by Margot Robbie, calls out specifically the supremacy issue you talk about all the time. So I think you'd appreciate that and kind of really points out what's...
@seanbelanger007JoAnn, movie trivia?
Ian MalcolmWhat two superstar actors, probably both two of the 25 most famous actors of the last, let's call it 50 years, what two actors are both prominently portrayed or presented in The Godfather Part II? Can you name that?
@joann_marieOh, yeah. Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando. Oh, my God, I forgot the other one that went from Scarface. No!
@nietzsche258918Al Pacino.
Ian MalcolmOh, yeah, and I was going to do the follow-up. You're right, Marlon Brando in the first film as well. That's a good one to bring up. Marlon Brando made some curious comments about a certain group of people running Hollywood, and to demonstrate that they didn't, he had to go on an apology tour, apologizing for his crime of suggesting such because he got blacklisted by people from that group.
Speaker 6which only validates the very suggestion.
@nietzsche258918Didn't Norm Macdonald make a joke about that on SNL? He's like, well, you know, he apologized so they said he could go back to work.
@seanbelanger007Did you hear what happened on set with Marlon and the actual literal mafia that was on the set during the wedding scene? So yeah, so apparently Marlon was super drunk or whatever having a good time on the wedding scene but apparently they hired literal mafia, actual mafia people to be there. And he, like, pulled his pants down and mooned everybody.
@seanbelanger007And he had to be pulled back to the side. He was like, Marlon, you know that's, like, actual mafia, right? Like, you can't do that. And I was like, oh, shit. But, yeah, that's a real fact that happened. Wow. Yeah, the Italian mob.
Ian MalcolmLots of movies about those Italians with not only the Godfather but also, obviously, the Sopranos. They're always Italian. But there's this other mob I keep hearing about. The Truth Teller told me a couple stories about. Don't seem to see a lot of that. How curious. But Sean, very good suggestions with The Godfather and Lawrence of Arabia.
Ian MalcolmWonderful suggestions. We'll get those in the purple pill. Why don't we go to Miss Mandy and see if she's got an answer for us.
@rabbimandyxOh, I don't know. I like so many different types of movies. The first one that I was thinking of is what Rabbi was talking about. I like David Lynch too. I've always liked David Lynch because I just like... The Weird Stuff, Lost Highway
@rabbimandyxGalaxie Quest is excellent
Ian MalcolmSome other options that were in the purple pill that I'll call out. And David, I'd be curious for your thoughts on this one. Somebody mentioned 2001, A Space Odyssey, obviously by Stanley Kubrick, who curiously people claim was involved in the prospective faking of the moon landing. But when it comes to Space Odyssey, David, what are your thoughts on it?
Ian MalcolmBecause if I'm not mistaken, it's the first 30 or 40 minutes that go without any... What are your thoughts? Because it's a very bizarre movie in a lot of ways.
@joann_marieDavid? I love him. I love those movies and The Shining and Clockwork Orange. They are absolutely brilliant. And they also have a lot of crazy stuff, but he was just an absolute genius. And he was also...
@nietzsche258918When I was in junior high school, I heard about this movie because my science teacher, this woman... The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar
@nietzsche258918The movie is asking, who are we? And then if we could atomize that, who are you? What is a you? And we still, most people don't grasp the profundity of that question. So it seems so soulless. The movie seems so bereft of soul. Well, guess what? You're supposed to supply that. Are you bereft of it? It's like it's asking you that question.
@nietzsche258918So it's really interesting. Where is this going? Where is the future going? And I know that if I asked the director that, he'd say, I'm sorry, Dave, I just can't tell you that.
Ian MalcolmWell, that's the, that is, it's one of those ones where I think there's a lot of interpretation that you can try to take from it. And yeah, what is the name? Somebody was mentioning this the other day. There's significance to, oh, IBM, right? That the computer company, how curious that IBM, was the massive giant that would come out after HAL, which every letter is just one before IBM.
Ian MalcolmAnd maybe either totally coincidental or perhaps some kind of other play there that was intentional. Either way, the how is a very interesting counterpart. And wouldn't it be wild to look at how through the lens today of AI, how much that machine has kind of changed or maybe not, maybe it's become too...
@nietzsche258918It's almost like it knew that AI was coming. I will tell you that you notice that there's a pattern that all of these Hollywood movies, the future is kind of dark. They can't imagine a bright future. And I think part of it is the existential dilemma of the individual. Every person is caught within the vortex of their own personal Armageddon.
@nietzsche258918And until you identify with eternity, which is what happens when you actually discover your real soul, you think in dark terms. When someone is standing on the road with a sign that says the end of the world is near, they don't realize that psychologically they're talking about themselves because when they close their eyes for the last time, the world goes away.
@nietzsche258918But it's not so dark. The deepest and most profound thinkers. I don't, you know, what is the movie where, I think Jeff Goldblum was in that as well, Independence Day, where the big, where the, Aliens came to visit? Was that it? Yeah. Well, I always, I find it distasteful that we're always genuflecting to the aliens like we're just groveling horrible people.
@nietzsche258918No, we're not. We should be proud of what we accomplished. We used to live in caves. We used to put leeches behind our ears when we were sick. Like, you know, we were wallowing in our own ignorance for so long. And I'm not saying that we're done yet. But, you know... It's not enough to have virtues. You have to have pride in those virtues.
@nietzsche258918If you don't have, then you'll forget them. You're liable to stray away. You become unmoored from the pursuit of virtue. So I'd like to see one movie where like, hey. Yeah, you guys were here like 50,000 years ago. Well, we have a lot of problems, but we've accomplished a great deal. We figured out, you know, the germ theory and, you know, we kind of have cosmology down and astrophysics and lots of cool stuff and electrodynamics and mathematics and, you know, tell us what you've done.
@nietzsche258918And, you know, it's like don't whimper and whine and grovel like a dog. Let's have one movie where they don't do that.
Ian MalcolmI love that suggestion. And I think you're right. A lot of them, especially the disaster-focused ones, certainly going that route where it's, oh no, they're here! And it doesn't matter if it's Independence Day or signs. I always found it very strange that in signs in particular, and gotta give it credit because it's got Mel Gibson.
Ian MalcolmAlso has Joaquin Phoenix, who's always pretty interesting. But it has Mel, who we certainly like for many reasons. But in signs, right, these incredible aliens, they come down.
Ian MalcolmI think in a lot of these films, mankind downplays what we have accomplished. We've done a lot of great things. Although, I said this in another space, I just can't imagine the Jewish supremacists of today if the aliens did come down. Can you imagine they land over Israel and Netanyahu comes out and he's like, I'm going to now shame you into giving me your ship.
Ian MalcolmDon't be an anti-Semite. It would just be such a disaster.
@nietzsche258918Yes, where are you from? I'm from the planet L1-2, you know, in the Andromeda Galaxy. Oh yes, we have a right to that land. When we can get there, we're going to come claim our right, our irredentist right.
@blueskyambWe got Brahmins 1,000 years ago, so maybe 2,000 years.
@nietzsche258918Yes, and it's in this book that we wrote. It's in this book that we wrote. We wrote it right here, so we have a right to it.
Ian MalcolmQuick, Rabbi Shmuley, add into the Talmud that that L125 is also ours. God has given it to us. Oh, it's all so crazy.
@nietzsche258918I will say one exception that just occurred to me. Richard Dreyfuss, by the way, Jewish actor, extremely good. I think he really made his bones and jaws. And wasn't he in a movie, something of the third kind or something, where several people in the movie, independently, not knowing each other, The New Disclosure Film
Ian MalcolmI don't think they're real.
Ian MalcolmYou know, and they show up and it's Netanyahu in an alien suit telling us that the world is his. It's not all that different than what he says right now, which is kind of weird. But let's go to Lindsay and see her thoughts on the greatest film ever.
@lindsey1454Well, I wouldn't say it's the greatest film, but one of my most favorite movies is 40-Year-Old Virgin because it is... to me so funny and it actually reminds me a lot of the men today as far as just sitting at home alone with their action figures playing video games pretending like they do have sex but they can't because they don't understand how to interact with with women and they ride around all day on their little bicycles and you know just
@lindsey1454Thank you for everything you do, all the time you put in, all the laughs you give to me and everyone else. I really appreciate you and everything that you do.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much, and it's all part of this community, right? And in some ways, I want to be careful. I was going to say, I can feel like the 40-year-old virgin, which I want to be careful how I make that connection. But I say it because that film, it's of course a very, very large cast of characters that all lend in and provide very different aspects of the humor.
Ian Malcolmand you've got Seth Rogen he's just the worst but you also have Paul Rudd who very very funny individual I think he's also Jewish but what is Steve Carell he truly is just he's a delight I find him unbelievably funny it also has it is that woman Jane Lynch I think is her name who has the hots for Steve Carell which is Just too, too, too funny.
Ian MalcolmAnd I remember his comment in there about the two big bags of sand as he's around the poker table and all his friends are like, what are you talking about? But no, the $40 version, that is a very good one. And just like in that film, lots of different characters playing lots of different parts, adding to the mix. And I feel like that's kind of what we've got in this room.
Ian MalcolmAnd I just say it because... I love laughing with everybody that's in here and learning from everybody. And so whether it's yourself or David or JoAnn or Truth or anybody else that frequents our conversations, it really is a team effort. And just like that movie wouldn't have been funny if it was just Steve Carell. These rooms wouldn't be all they are without everybody else that participates.
Ian MalcolmOh, I see. I guess Forever Unknown doesn't like that response. So maybe we'll check in with him in a second. I have a feeling this will be a wonderful troll. So we'll just go directly to you. Forever 10, do you live under a bus or what's your deal?
Speaker 7No, I just wanted to ask, what does she mean by men who play video games? Like, I'm just curious.
Ian MalcolmThere's lots of incels that really, I think Lindsay's not wrong, that have no idea how to communicate with a woman because they've lived entirely on the other side of a digital screen. Is that a fair critique?
Speaker 7Right, but it's just like, I just don't understand what you mean by men who play video games, though.
Ian MalcolmHang on. But you would agree that there's a whole lot of men that live essentially on the digital platforms and have likely some kind of animosity towards women because they probably don't know how to communicate with them. Is that reasonable?
Speaker 7Yeah, that's 100% possible. You're totally right. There are some men who take their anger out on women, but I don't know. I'm just trying to grasp the situation and trying to figure out what's going on.
Ian MalcolmBut you just defined the very thing that you just said a moment ago was strange to suggest. Is that what I'm reading?
Speaker 7I don't know. It was just like... Like, I just need more details. Like, I don't know what you mean by... You projected a little bit.
@nietzsche258918Yeah, let me paint a picture for you, okay? What happens is... This is sort of how misogyny is incubated. These incels have no game. They don't have the balls to go out and play the numbers because it requires facing rejection. So they sit home and they play video games. And they only interact with other guys like that.
@nietzsche258918And they don't go out and do what, I'm sorry, but a normal guy does, which is, you know, go fight where the women are, make himself look presentable, develop a little bit of a game, have a little bit of, you know, have a little bit of patter, the ability to talk to the girl and interact with her and think about her and ask her questions.
@nietzsche258918They can't do any of these things. And since they don't do them, then they get more and more bitter and more and more disaffected from women. And this is all from being an incel. So put down the video game, you know, just walk away, step back, go out into the world, the real one, just on the other side of your door and go somewhere where the opposite sex are and have the guts to ask them out and yes, get turned down.
@nietzsche258918Remember you complimented them when you asked them out. I used to always say, well, you can afford to be picky. You're pretty. When they turned me down, I'd go, oh no, my feelings are hurt. I hate you. No, no, no, no. Don't have an expectation. The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar,
@nietzsche258918You know, finding the love of their life. I mean, there is something deep inside you. Let's call it the Nick Fuentes syndrome, okay? There is something deep inside you that surely wants the company of women, right? Right? And I had one of them say, yeah, but you know, like the rejection. I'm like, well, young man, if you can't deal with the rejection, I just don't have anything to tell you.
@nietzsche258918I don't know what, I guess stay inside. You know, I'm trying to inspire a little bit. You know, when General Patton slapped the soldier, You know, he got a lot of gut for it, but he said, I was trying to kind of shame him back into being a man. And, you know, like if someone can't face rejection, then what are we going to do?
@nietzsche258918What am I to do? How can I help you? I can tell you what to do, but if you can't get up and go try, I don't know. That to me is the apotheosis of what an incel is.
@joann_marieDavid, have you looked into rejection therapy? Because I did it and it works and it's beautiful. Basically, you do a bunch of really embarrassing things over and over and over and over and for the purpose of getting rejected.
@nietzsche258918I did this as a kid, but by accident. Me too.
@nietzsche258918I had a negative feeling about people that I shouldn't really care what they think of me.
@joann_marieThat is a perfect example of it. And yes, I think everybody should try doing it because rejection sucks and you do get disentersized. I don't know how to say that word. But if you keep doing it over and over, I did so many of them. Like I went into a movie theater and I dressed as if I was like going to a wedding and I got like the biggest popcorn and like I fell in front of absolutely everyone and screamed like...
@joann_marieI did it on purpose to get this synthesized. I also asked people for money in the shopping center. I would be like, oh, can I borrow $300? They would be like, no.
@joann_marieI didn't need the money. I needed to get this synthesized. I cannot say that word, sorry. I did a bunch of that and then eventually you do... for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian Malcolmattracting the opposite sex, the better gender as I refer to them. But also just for life in general, what you just suggested about putting yourself into uncomfortable situations, whether that is by doing something ridiculous like JoAnn just suggested, I'm not, I wasn't familiar with that formal approach, right? But, but going out of your element, go to things that push you beyond your comfort zone.
Ian MalcolmAnd that's not just in the gym, trying to lift more weight than you could do yesterday. Try a new sport altogether. and that could be the the on the athletic field that could also just be out in the community right try to learn something new try to pick up a new craft if you've never done a puzzle try to grab one just to challenge yourself to do it right if you push yourself out of your comfort zone you become comfortable in the uncomfortable and once you learn how to do that you can essentially do anything and I know that that sounds really strange but what could be more valuable than the
Ian MalcolmAbility to be able to tackle that which you're unfamiliar with, right? That's how we all grow. And I do think that if you go back to the question that young man prospectively was asking, if it wasn't good faith, right? What is it that young men today that they don't have to do a lot of is to go out and just interact with other people, right?
Ian MalcolmThey can live behind a screen. They can do everything digitally, which is kind of ironic because we're, of course, doing that right now is the digital conversation. But in the real world, I'm just as comfortable just saying, all right, we're going to talk about this thing. And I think everybody should try to get comfortable with that, right?
Ian MalcolmIn fact, it's public speaking that ranks more fear. People are more fearful of public speaking in front of a large audience than they are of death. According to a couple different studies, people would feel more comfortable. I died. That sucks. But hey, at least I didn't have to speak in front of a room of people, right?
Ian MalcolmIf you are that fearful of it, I think a lot of individuals that come into these conversations, David is a wonderful example. I bet you could put David in the middle of an NFL football stadium with 50,000 people watching and would probably have zero nerves in picking up a microphone and speaking. And unfortunately, there's a lot of young men, and this is by design for what it's worth.
Ian MalcolmThe Jewish supremacists have essentially said it so that there's a lot of young men that are very frustrated. They're very angry at women in particular, right? And why? Because, well, on the other side of the gender war, the women are now given, let's say, not only access to unlimited attention from the opposite sex, but through things like dating apps, through pornography, OnlyFans, through Instagram and all this other stuff.
Ian MalcolmThe world is their oyster, so they're inundated with far more attention than they would traditionally have received in a not-so-distant, long-ago society. And as a result, they're going to be not only more picky, which you can understand how that would become the case, but they're also going to become, due to social pressures, more focused on clout, on finances and wealth.
Ian Malcolmand all of these other superficial aspects. So what do you have? You have women basically chasing the richest, most attractive, most successful, most whatever person that they can because those are the things that they're being taught are of meaning and importance because they revel in the Kim Kardashians and all the other nonsense of the world, right?
Ian MalcolmSo the Jewish supremacist by design, just like they pit the Christians against the Muslims and the citizens versus the migrants and all this other stuff, they are trying to pit
Ian MalcolmTry to not become that thing. If you're a young man or a young woman listening right now, if you're the young woman, recognize that Andrew Tate is not what you should be trying to find on the romantic side of things. And if you're a young man, recognize that he's not the thing you should be emulating, right? Look at traditional values.
Ian MalcolmLook at what was traditionally masculine. And for what it's worth as the last thing, one of the biggest pieces of this puzzle
Ian MalcolmAll of these other things. And then you will be immensely attractive to the opposite sex, not by trying to become the thing that they are telling you women are attracted to. Instead, become the thing that women have always been attracted to, which is self-esteem, confidence, conviction and purpose, which is literally the antithesis of all of the nonsense from the likes of Andrew Tate and all this other stuff.
Ian MalcolmRight. So don't hate women. It's not their fault. And by merely being angry at them, you're not going to fix the problem, which might be your difficulty dealing with them. So, David, I think what you said there was absolutely spot on. But let's go to Blue Sky and then we'll go to Mr. Belteshazzar. Blue Sky, what is your greatest film ever?
@blueskyambIt's not my greatest. It's the greatest movie ever. I don't know, but I'm going to go with Into the Dragon, Spike Lee.
@blueskyambThe Karate Moves, I don't know if you like karate movies, but that's my favorite movie ever. And I know they worked because they don't like the Goya. I'm sure it could be on the list. I never did the investigation, but it was a great actor, great movie. Enter the Dragon, all the movies, but the first one was the best. And I think that could be top list on everyone's list.
@blueskyambAnd I think it was awesome. I think that kind of stuff, they don't make that kind of movies anymore. I don't know. I've never seen another karate movie again. And that culture is gone. So I don't know.
@joann_marieKarate Kid is amazing. Have you watched Karate Kid?
@blueskyambYeah, that was good too. But somehow the jewelers don't like that kind of culture too. So people need to make the connections. It doesn't really matter. These people, it's their way or their highway. And I believe...
Ian MalcolmThe Rock is going to sit at the bottom. It's never going to go anywhere. It's just going to be frustrated with what it is. You can be the salmon where you're constantly fighting energy, nature, all those things that should guide us with purpose. And you'll get somewhere, but you'll go there very, very slowly. Or you can be like the leaf and you can find your purpose and you can follow that purpose, which might be a variety of things, right?
Ian MalcolmBut then when you do that, you get into a flow state and everything will come together. Blue Sky? Detroit.
Ian MalcolmAlright, I guess we'll come back to him. Let's go to Belteshazzar and get his thoughts on the greatest film ever.
@ceanndachHey, how's everybody doing today? Well, I would say first off that one genre that I think is sort of unique that I didn't really hear mentioned earlier is the hero's journey. I think it's a very important genre because it's about adventure and it's about Accomplishing something great.
@ceanndachI think the series that I like the most at the moment, or I guess the movie I like the most at the moment that has to do with that is probably Lord of the Rings trilogy. But I think that you have a good case for other things like The Odyssey. I just think it's a real important thing that sort of faded away from our society because it's something that can be very inspiring to people.
@ceanndachAnd Ian, I don't know if you've seen it or not, but one movie I will say that I've seen in maybe the past decade that I actually thought was pretty good was Project Hail Mary. I don't know if you've seen that or not, but I thought it was really good. It's been a long time since I saw a movie that I thought was actually worth seeing.
@ceanndachI thought that was worth seeing. And then I guess just one other thing I would comment on about the incel thing is like, you're totally right. And it is sort of a by design thing, right? Because if I were to say, oh, well, my favorite movie is, you know, How to Be Single. And I really liked the part where, you know, the chick was ready to get back together and the guy turned her down because she'd been out whoring around.
@ceanndachAnd it's like... You could say that, but it's very cliche and it seems like it's a very punching down position to have. And I think that there are people on both sides of that thing. They're in wrong places and that's because they've seen the media and they've seen movies and they've seen shows like Everybody Loves Raymond or The Dad's Just Like an Idiot and he has to be helped on how to do everything.
@ceanndachYou know, or the movies where like the guy's just always a moron and he screws everything up and then some woman has to come and fix everything. It's like our entire sort of perception of all of that has been warped. And I think that we should account that also.
Ian MalcolmThat's absolutely right. And that's why I try not to blame those that are victims of the toxic water that we're living in, right? And all these...
Ian Malcolmbecause you've got this situation again in which the women are naturally going to gravitate towards men that are going to be far let's say more established financially and professionally and all these other kind of things that will have access to the cool places and maybe the fancier cars and all these other kind of things right and so that is obviously going to set a standard in which the women are now going to look for that they're going to have access to it because of all the dating apps and all the other nonsense instead of just pairing up
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmI point to the Kardashians a lot just because it's such an easy example. There is a reason that they put those people in the spotlight and then had them get a divorce every six months or whatever it was so they could then marry somebody else. They were romanticizing their lifestyles and then making them as degenerate as possible to try and normalize that existence, right?
Ian MalcolmAnd again, it's just all by design to kill the nuclear family because it's part of the deracination of our society.
@ceanndachThat reminds me of something I had mentioned to JoAnn where I looked into the tabloids and it's like you have this sort of like path from like the Hollywood elites who will you know get actors to like do certain things like get them to you know make them try drugs and stuff to do certain movies and then they'll turn around and print it in the tabloids and make their lives a horror show.
Ian MalcolmThat's exactly right and it's just... It is to romanticize the degeneracy and to then neuter anything that is aspirational is basically what you find. And so I can't help but also notice that virtually every one of the celebrities out there now is in some kind of interracial coupling. I could think of McConaughey. I could think of George.
Ian MalcolmJoAnn, help me out here. He was the heartthrob of the 90s. He played Batman. He was in ER, George Clooney, there you go, right? Clooney, all of these guys, they've all gone down that path. And then you look at some of the younger ones that are having kids and you've got the likes of Megan Fox and all these others. I mean, I think Megan Fox has three kids and all of them are trans essentially.
Ian MalcolmIt's like, if anybody thinks that this is remotely normal, you're out of your mind. Like this is all by design to try and again, have these people held up in front of the public. The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar
Ian MalcolmWithin that world, your favorite character, arc, or story is what or who?
@ceanndachWell, I mean, it's sort of the whole thing, right? I mean, it's, you know, just Frodo, for example, right? You know, he's just, to use a term, he's basically an incel. He just sits around a home, you know, and does whatever he wants. And he's just suddenly thrust... You know, totally unprepared into this journey where, you know, he suddenly has all this responsibility where in the beginning he had no responsibility, you know, and he sort of has to go through this internal journey himself where, you know, you see that when they get to Rivendell, right?
@ceanndachAnd like he has to decide, well, because he sees the conflict that everybody else is having, he's like, well, I'll take the ring. And if you think about it, one thing that's kind of curious about that, David, I'd be interested in your thoughts on this. Because that idea of the hero's journey, if you think about it,
Ian MalcolmWhat could be more dangerous to the people in charge, I'm not saying kinetically, but spiritually and emotionally, than the idea of young men and women today being given heroes that are able to overcome insurmountable odds, which obviously Frodo does precisely that, right? He's the smallest person imaginable to take the biggest task and is able to do it because he builds his little band of misfits, which if you think about it, is kind of what we're doing with our endeavors to bring truth
Ian Malcolmto a very, very uncomfortable world, right? And so I'm curious, David, if you've noticed that there is kind of a reduction of stories about the underdog coming back from these monumental odds, and instead we get a lot of the superhero genre, which is basically the idea that not everybody can become that thing. You have to have it bestowed upon you by some kind of supernatural force.
Ian MalcolmDad might have stepped away. So we'll come back to that question. JoAnn, you can hear me, right?
Speaker 2Yes, I'm here.
Ian MalcolmAll right. Well, let's go to Mr. Raed and get his thought on the greatest film of all time. Then we'll go over to Selena.
@thelevantinemanYeah. Hi, guys. Good to see you. I'm going to go with Schindler's List. No! You anti-Semitic monkeys. Okay, let me try again. Is that your favorite? Okay, so your favorite fiction? The honest answer is Dead Poets Society. Oh, why?
@joann_marieI have a tattoo quote of that film, right?
@thelevantinemanOh, Captain, my captain.
@joann_marieMake your life extraordinary.
@thelevantinemanYeah, I remember tearing up at the end like this movie. Yeah, 100%. That would be my answer.
Ian MalcolmWow. I love it. So we've got one and a half, because I know it wasn't Jumanji, it was Matilda, but Jumanji was almost the answer for JoAnn. So we've got one and a half films now with Robin Williams. Dead Poets Society is absolutely fantastic. If anybody has not seen it, just a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant story. And Raed, this goes back to what we were just talking about, right?
Ian MalcolmWhere... The brilliance of it includes the fact, I don't want to spoil the storyline for anybody that hasn't seen it, but rather just to say that unlike today's films, Dead Poets Society, it's not about a victory, right? This idea that much like Rocky, you don't have to win or to get the million dollars or any of this other kind of stuff to be a hero in a sense.
Ian MalcolmI'm curious for your thoughts on that.
@thelevantinemanYeah, 100%. For me, it's about...
@thelevantinemanLike moral code, basic moral code, especially loyalty at the end. You understand that some people believe in being loyal to their detriment, right? And stuff like that. That's why I love it. Yeah.
@nietzsche258918Don't you think, my friend, that part of it was being loyal to yourself? That this is your life. If anybody does have, if they do have anxiety about speaking or asking girls out, Go sit in a graveyard. I think that's what the main character in Dead Poets Society would say to do. Go look at each grave and there's a little dash between the time when they were born and the time when they died.
@nietzsche258918And that is the fleeting time that you're alive. And Dead Poets Society reminds us it's your life. Dream bigger and go after the thing that you want. Life has been built upon the harebrained scheme. And the people that go their own path, that take Robert Frost's path less traveled by, they are the people, to paraphrase Robert Frost, that make all the difference for the rest of us.
@joann_marieDavid forever.
Ian MalcolmDavid forever and ever.
Speaker 4National treasure.
Speaker 6Dad is a national treasure.
@thelevantinemanDavid forever, I say. Love you, David.
Ian MalcolmSo if the United States goes the way of not a democracy due to the Jewish supremacists being unwilling to, let's say, honestly discuss all of the insanity that they've created, I'm going to stand by David Nietzsche for emperor. in this fictitious future society. I just want to throw that not advocating any kind of anything other than I think his mind is unbelievably spectacular.
Ian MalcolmAnd I think David would make an unbelievable Supreme Chancellor of the universe if we could figure out how to get him the rings.
@nietzsche258918I'll declare martial freedom.
Ian MalcolmWe gotta get David the rings of, either the ring of power or the infinity gauntlet. Either one, if in David's hand, I think the world would be a much better place.
@nietzsche258918By the way, shout out to our friend that just came up and called out one genre, the hero's journey. And of course, I'm sure Joseph Campbell would appreciate that. I'd love to hear more people, like, what is the hero's journey? What... We would think of a hero as someone else, but you could be your own hero, right? Think about what you admire, what you want to see in the world, to paraphrase Gandhi, and then you be that person.
@nietzsche258918So if you go and ask the girl out in a very direct way or do the thing that JoAnn was saying, do you admire yourself more afterwards? Good, right? So that's the hero's journey. Also, the other thing about the hero's journey, and I'm trying to think of other movies that have this because I love that he brought this up, The other thing is there's some solitude involved there.
@nietzsche258918There's always a going under. If you read Greek mythology, they have to go down to Hades or rescue somebody or like Orpheus with Eurydice. Like there's some hero's journey that requires a solitary or solitude where you're going on your own and you're not depending upon the approval of others. What do you think about that, Ian?
Ian MalcolmOh, I couldn't agree with you more. And you know... It's why I said that idea of going out and challenging yourself and trying to do something new, right? Because if you think about it, the hero's journey, there's always the call to adventure. And the adventure that they're going to set out on is never one they're familiar with, right?
Ian MalcolmLuke Skywalker, he didn't go through this arc because he started out with the Force and a lightsaber, right? Instead, he started out a farm boy and he had to go into become something different in order to address
Ian MalcolmYou can also Uber Eats your food. You can have Amazon deliver a comfortable thing of pajamas and a blanket. You can sit on your couch forever. Or like you were just saying, and it's curious, somebody mentioned the Lord of the Rings. One of the most dangerous things, I paraphrase, it's a dangerous thing to walk out your front door.
Ian MalcolmI think that's what Bilbo says. But if we do it, what you uncover is essentially going to test you. It's going to test your, let's say, your ability to take on the unknown. And ultimately, that is where we find self-discovery. It's where we find self-improvement. It's where we find self-esteem, right? And all these other things.
Ian MalcolmAnd it's why I really do, I advocate everybody, try to challenge yourself. Like if you haven't done this, sit down. In all sincerity, this is going to sound so hokey, right? Sit down. and pull up a piece of paper. If you've got one, if you've still got a paper and a pen, I've got a notepad actually right next to me as I'm saying this, which is kind of funny, right?
Ian MalcolmWith, with, what is this? I've got four pens, two of which are, are seafoam green in color, not, not very masculine, but, but write down 10 things that you would like to accomplish that you would like to do and make them obtainable, right? Don't, don't put on there. You want to, you want to make your way to the moon, right?
Ian MalcolmPut on 10 things that you've wanted to do for a while, but you haven't taken the time to do, right? It could be to go out and to, if you haven't exercised in a while, maybe it's to go on a three mile walk, right? Maybe it's to try a restaurant that you've found of interest. Maybe it's to make a dish, right? We know Mrs. Nietzsche.
Ian MalcolmWe know mom's a wonderful cook, right? Is there something that you'd like to create? Is there something that you would like to accomplish, right? Literally just write it down. I want to be able to do this by whatever. Just write those two things. So 10 things, 10 dates, and just say, I want to do this. Some of them you could, you can put out in five years, right?
Ian MalcolmI want to meet the girl in my dreams. I want to get married, whatever it is, just put it down, write those things down and then try tomorrow or next week or next month or next whatever to just whittle your way through that. And if you knock one thing off the list, replace it with another. Right? Cause this idea of just going out and tackling the world doesn't matter.
Ian MalcolmIt could be, you want to go and see a new place, right? You want to challenge yourself to do another thing you want to, whatever it is, right? You want to be able to sit in silence for 60 minutes. Like David was saying, you want to go out into the woods and you want to think, right? Whatever. Just challenge yourself to go above and beyond.
Ian MalcolmAnd I really do believe that just like the hero's journey, that's where you find the self-discovery. It's where you find self-improvement. If you're single for what it's worth, that's probably where you're gonna find your significant other, right? Is in going out and challenging yourself to do those new things. If you sit and you just constantly are repeating the same cycle, it's just like sitting literally on your couch, watching another thing in Netflix, another thing on YouTube, eating another thing from Uber Eats.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmIf you don't, then share your ideas maybe in the purple pill, right? And if you don't feel comfortable doing that, again, just take the ideas that you hear in here, consider them, evaluate them. Don't take them as gospel because there's lots of things we probably say that's completely wrong, right? Always validate and cross-check everything, right?
Ian MalcolmBut then go out and just try to explore the world. It's a beautiful place if you go out and do so. So lots of love, really wonderful suggestions there. But let's go down to Selena and then we'll check in with Frank.
@dinalogosHi, thank you. So, Ian, can I push back a little bit on the Kardashians? I'd love it if you did.
@dinalogosYou know, I really do think that the nuclear family started unraveling long before the Kardashians even existed, right? I think what's different now is that the degeneracy kind of matches the culture instead of sitting in construct to it. If you look at Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, they were all married eight times, ten times, right?
@dinalogosI think it's just they were still sold to us as icons. So I think that the generosity was always there.
@dinalogosNow it's kind of like very... That's what our culture is actually asking for.
Ian MalcolmI couldn't agree with you more on that one. And they've always been doing this, right? It's why... You can go back and it doesn't matter if it's Greece or Animal House. All of these things were trying to degenerate the society and the culture more and more and more. We're on warp speed at this point. And it feels like it's just kind of parabolic in the sense that they were moving the ball down the field.
Ian MalcolmAs they get closer and closer to the goal line, it becomes more obvious what's happening. And so they're kind of going for broke and just pushing on all. I mean, it is, it's crazy to think that once upon a time Animal House was incredibly degenerate. People looked at it and said, this is horrible. Our kids shouldn't be able to watch this.
Ian MalcolmIt's just going to, you know, it's going to give them all these bad ideas. And then you hold it up next to Euphoria today, which has a trans character or another character that's just on drugs and other characters, just everything wrong with society. And Animal House was aimed at adults and Euphoria is aimed at children.
Ian MalcolmTo show how far it's gone is crazy.
Ian MalcolmThank you for having me.
@dinalogosOof, two. I think I have two. I think The Godfather was mentioned already. I watched that when I was 12 years old. So I wanted to marry an Italian guy. But yeah, yeah, I grew up watching that movie, that specific scene when Michael hugged Fredo. And I understood that he's not forgiving him. He's actually saying goodbye.
@dinalogosKind of like, you know, if you watch that movie, it's such a classic, right? But like loyalty and power. It showcases what it costs you, that it will take your family away from you, right? And there is such a heavy psychology over there. So it's kind of like, yeah, I watched it when I was 13. But my favorite movie after that is The Silence of Lambs.
@dinalogosOh, good choice. Yes, I love that movie because... You know, I think a lot of teenagers need to watch that because you realize how intellect can be used as a power tool. Just like the Honeybell and Claire's conversations, it was pure mind chess. They were playing chess with each other. So I think, yeah, those are my two favorite movies because they influenced me into my adulthood.
@dinalogosI was obsessed with, like, Once Upon a Time in America, Scarface. You name it. All of the movies that are out there.
Ian MalcolmI love that. Silence of the Lambs. In fact, I remember a ranking. They had the greatest villains of all time from film. And they said in this supposed poll, the answers were Darth Vader was number one. The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal Lecter was number two. The Shark from Jaws was the number three villain from cinema history in this poll that they did.
Ian MalcolmHannibal Lecter, absolutely phenomenal. And Selena, so along those lines, in that film, they basically have two horror films in a film, right? Because you've got Buffalo Bill and then you've got Hannibal Lecter. Which of the two was scarier to you of those two elements?
@dinalogosOh, probably the first one.
Ian MalcolmThe Buffalo Bill.
@dinalogosYes, I found Hannibal very intellectually fascinating. So I think the other one was a little bit more that I would say, what's wrong with you? But Hannibal was just like, I think he was portrayed for a reason, a little bit more likable than the other one, even though the other one had a much tougher upbringing, like you should have built...
@dinalogosAnthony Hopkins, Ryan Gosling
Ian MalcolmThat everybody should watch. Very, very, very good thriller. The name is escaping me at the moment. But Anthony Hopkins, an unbelievable actor. His character as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs is unbelievable. He's so good. He really is just, he harnesses that character so spectacularly. And isn't it kind of funny?
Ian MalcolmBecause, so, talk about the changes in culture, right? You've got Buffalo Bill, who has, In his day and age when that film came out, everybody was like, what a psychopathic lunatic. And today, minus the murder, I'm sure that they would view him as the hero going through his butterfly transition to womanhood, right? How dare we insult the aspirations of the trans man, they would say.
Ian MalcolmBut yes, once upon a time that was viewed as obviously maniacal. Because back then, trans was basically viewed as a mental illness. But we find ourselves today, and we should be proud that he takes pride in who he's becoming. It's all just so crazy, Selena.
@dinalogosListen, there are two movies I would like to mention. They're not the greatest movies in the world, but I don't know if you guys ever heard about Cannibal Holocaust. Anybody ever got the chance to watch that?
@joann_marieI've heard of it, but I've never watched it. It's kind of like the Blair Witch Project, but it's not.
@dinalogosYeah, so it's original found footage. So technically it's a horror movie, but it's real animal mixed with stage human one killing. So they found those documentaries and they implemented that. And it is banned in a lot of countries. I watched it in Germany.
@joann_marieAlso, I'm pretty sure people actually believed that it was real and they like tried to sue someone because they thought that it actually happened. Yes. Also, they gave like in the contract he gave to the actors like they couldn't make more movies because apparently like they would be dead. So they couldn't make more movies.
@joann_marieLike that's insane.
@dinalogosYes, and there is another one. I don't know if I'm going to pronounce it correct. I think it's Salo. Anyways, it's 120 Days of Sodom. So that one was... Oh, is that Khodorovsky? Yeah, it's institutionalized sexual torture, right? I haven't watched it yet, but I know.
@joann_marieI met him and both of his sons, Cristóbal and Adán, yeah.
@dinalogosOh, wow, wow. Okay, so but if you think about that, right, it's like technically everything that Epstein did was like combined in that movie. So there are like some movies maybe worth watching to understand like the human psychology, how can you torture and satanize a teenager and like have that psychological, I don't even know if I can verbalize that.
@dinalogosThat's also impacted me a lot, like not in a good way though, psychologically. I still up to date don't understand how can a person be capable of doing that? Because there was like parts with newborn children as well. I mean, he's three too, you know, so. Yeah, horror. But it takes place as we now kind of figured out, right?
@dinalogosThat takes place. Yeah, that's it.
@joann_marieThank you, Dina. I haven't watched it, but I don't plan to watch it. I don't like watching those things. But, yes.
Ian MalcolmAnd I, real quick, I gotta give Rami Hilmi, or Hilmi, has been awarded six million points. The movie was Fracture with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. Everybody should watch that one if you have not seen it. Absolutely phenomenal film. Really, really fantastic storytelling. Very suspenseful. And the two actors, are very good.
Ian MalcolmAnd actually, isn't it curious because we're talking Ryan Gosling, who also was in Project Hail Mary, which I have not seen, but I've heard really good things about. So I'm gonna have to add that to the list here. So thank you to whoever had suggested that earlier. Let's go to Mr. Frank, and then we will go to Junior.
Speaker 4And also Mandy has her hand up as well.
Speaker 8Oh.
Speaker 4Afterwards, yeah.
@keoniriggs17124Yeah, can you hear me okay? Yeah, we all love our particular programming, right? Thank God for Hollywood.
@keoniriggs17124I'll put in the purple pill how Hollywood was stolen from the actual American people that started it, Thomas Edison being one of them. But I grew up a Gen X person. And for some reason, I don't know why, I've always loved science fiction. And my number one all-time favorite has been Blade Runner. Is it the original with Harrison Ford?
@keoniriggs17124Yes. And it didn't go hardcore into the special effects. To this day, if you watch it, it's actually pretty fucking good. Is that Ridley Scott, Frank?
@keoniriggs17124Shit. I should know that. I think it is.
Ian MalcolmI'm going to have to take it. I'll look for you right now. I didn't mean to derail you.
@keoniriggs17124Yeah, no. But to this day, it's... It's kind of really, you know, when you're living through the world that we're living through, listening to assholes like Elon Musk, everything about that movie is like, oh, okay. It starts to make more sense. Also, Mad Max was one of my favorites. And it turns out, yeah, it turns out Mel Gibson and Anne Harrison Ford are two of my favorite actors.
@keoniriggs17124People will say Harrison Ford is of the tribe, but I don't really see it because he was a guy that was building sets as a carpenter. And they were like, hey, this guy's good looking. Like, can you do some lines? And he was like, yeah, I can do some lines. And there he goes, right? And then Mel Gibson, we all know who he is and everything he found out.
@keoniriggs17124So those two movies are the ones that I kind of grew up on, realizing, and it's kind of maybe me being just weird and seeing the future that I'm actually living through, that this is where we're headed. But yeah, I've always loved Blade Runner.
@keoniriggs17124The rendition that they did, I was really upset that they were going to do a remake. And normally remakes fuck up everything about the previous version. But it was actually done really well with, I forget his name, the actor.
Ian MalcolmAlso Ryan Gosling.
@keoniriggs17124Gosling, yeah. But they did such a great job. And somebody brought up Lord of the Rings. When I first met my wife, she was not into science fiction at all. She hated anything to do with it. She was like, I don't get it. And I took her to Lord of the Rings. And she was sure that she was not going to have a good time. And she walked out of there flabbergasted.
@keoniriggs17124And I grew up reading Tolkien. And if you look into Tolkien, he was actually kind of anti, you know, A certain type of anti. And so all this kind of makes sense. Like here we are, these people who understand the, how do I put this? The pushing of what Christ wanted us to see and be, which is actually against everything that we've seen
@keoniriggs17124Most of what we've seen through Hollywood and everything with our programming. And you're kind of on the fence when you're growing up going, oh, okay, all right. And now we're sort of figuring out, oh, okay. Now I have to go with this current, which is actually the best way, which hopefully can save us from these other assholes
@keoniriggs17124Well, that's the wonder of that movie to me, is that it can be taken either way. It's sort of had this ambiguity of an ending. And so I feel we're at this precipice now to say, okay, do we go with this transhumanism? Are we going to allow the overlords to sort of...
@keoniriggs17124That movie's ending is very strange. I will give you that.
Ian MalcolmIt is, and definitely a good one to go watch for anybody who has not seen it, which is why I didn't want to speak too directly about it. And that is Ridley Scott, looked it up. Also did Aliens, all the way up to Gladiator, which was a Ridley Scott film. which is absolutely fantastic. I would actually put Gladiator. It's definitely in my top 25.
Ian MalcolmI might even have it in the top 10. Absolutely amazing film and talk about traditional masculinity. Maximus, what an incredible, incredible character. And there's also, there's some interesting aspects of that film in terms of the historical accuracy. And look, there's a lot of liberties, but nonetheless talking about Marcus Aurelius, Commodus and all the history of that window, which
Ian MalcolmIf you haven't looked into the actual history, it's worth a read because it's just wild to think about what was actually taking place at the time. And Marcus Aurelius, the reasons to criticize him, obviously, but the meditations are phenomenal, as is the concept of stoicism, which back to that idea of being a masculine guy and trying to make the most of yourself.
Ian MalcolmIf you have not looked into the meditations, might be a good thing to go do. There is actually a book that basically walks through I wanted to mention It's a Wonderful Life.
@rabbimandyxI totally forgot. I normally watch older movies, usually black and white. And what I found is that it reminds me of a time that's gone, which is where things were a little more wholesome and there was real, you know, nuclear families and people really got home at, you know, 6pm and had food waiting for them and a family around the table and a community that they knew people's names.
@rabbimandyxAnd it definitely... Even like the Twilight Zone is something that I like to watch, which is just episodes usually on YouTube or some other streaming services. And even though those are so off the wall and weird, it still feels so much more wholesome than we have today just because some of those same traditional values are still in them.
@rabbimandyxThank you so much for having me.
@rabbimandyxHe's supposed to be the one that goes off and sees the world, but he can't. He has to stay back and help with his dad's business. And then finally, when it's his time, it gets pulled away from him because there's some emergency. And he just keeps hitting all of these barriers. And he feels like, okay, I got to give up.
@rabbimandyxMy life's a failure. I can do nothing right. It's catastrophe after catastrophe because it's not hitting my expectations. And then he is shown by an angel what the world would look like without him.
@rabbimandyxAll the traditional values and it's kind of what I just wish we had a little bit more of, but I will say Lindsay was up. Oh, she's still up here. And I think what we've seen with some of us being attacked online by similar people is that we do have a community that in a similar way has come around to help us, even though I know you guys don't know me super well, but a lot of the people here in this space today, even Junior came to my defense.
@rabbimandyxand I know that we've come to Lindsay's. And so that's one of the reasons why I was reminded of this film, but I'm just thankful to everybody here. And I do long a little bit for those traditional values and the community in those older films. And I'd recommend anybody, if you wanna feel grounded and experience what it might've been like for our grandparents or around the kitchen table when we were two or three years old is to go back into some of those
@rabbimandyxBlack and white films and just get a taste of what that was like. Because it wasn't always like this. There wasn't ever a tranny in films back then.
Ian MalcolmYeah, it didn't exist at all. And now it's just in everything. Again, it's all part of the demoralization and social engineering. And they've been at this for a long, long time. But let's go to Junior and get the greatest film ever.
@jvniorWhat's up, man? How are you, bro? We always have a great laugh together, bro. Yo, can you guys hear me?
Ian MalcolmYep, we sure can.
@jvniorOkay, sorry, bro. You didn't respond, so I felt... No, no, no, no. All good. I love your spaces. I came up because, you know, I actually used to watch a lot of movies. I reminisce on the times where I used to just have free time and just sit down and just watch a movie. Man, those were the good times. And I know you understand what I'm talking about.
@jvniorBecause I feel like we're during a revolutionary period right now. As Americans and, you know, those days where we just sat down and watched movies are not there anymore, unfortunately. But I have a weird one. Jaws. I feel like Jaws was like one of my all-time favorites growing up. The scary movie. Bro, the scary movies, like the sequels and every single one, like scary movie, banger.
@jvniorDefinitely in my top 10. But actually, bro, I came up to ask you, how do you rate a movie? Like, is it by replay factor? Is it, like, nostalgia? Like, how you, like, do you see your life in the movie? Like, how do you connect with a movie? Because for me, definitely nostalgia, definitely replay factor, definitely seeing a relationship that I have in my life kind of portrayed, or someone that I, you know, someone in my family, or like, you know,
@jvniorBeing familiarized with the characters, I feel like that adds a lot. If you can actually familiarize with the characters, you can really... I'll make an example with TV shows, right? The 100, characters are very, very relatable. But if you go to Black Mirror, it's very hard to relate to the characters because they change the actors every episode and it's different.
@jvniorSo I can't really rate Black Mirror higher than... The 100, for example
Ian MalcolmThe Odyssey, Interstellar, and Oppenheimer Shit or bangers?
Ian MalcolmI did see it and I went and I tried to see the biggest screen I could and all those kind of things and I have to admit I'm a fan of Christopher Nolan and I do I think he's of the modern directors I think he's probably the best of the best and he's done some unbelievable films in particular if you go back some of his older films obviously you mentioned Interstellar Inception I think is phenomenal what he did with the
Ian MalcolmThe Batman franchise. I didn't exactly like the third piece of the trilogy.
@jvniorYeah, Batman's definitely in my top ten. I love Batman. Dark Knight Rises, literally one of the greatest movies of all time.
Ian MalcolmYeah, The Dark Knight was spectacular. But almost everything Nolan has touched has been really solid. And the work that he does with Hans Zimmer for the scores is always really wonderful. And so I did see The Odyssey. And I could not help but note that, yes, there is the subversive elements that are laid within it. Helen of Troy, obviously the trans character that Odysseus himself refers to.
Ian MalcolmHe was the strongest and most noble amongst us and refers to the Ellen Page character, which I just thought was obnoxious. But nonetheless, the rest of it, I thought was very well done.
@jvniorHey, at least they killed her off in the first few minutes.
Ian MalcolmYou got to give them that. Yes, that's true. But the rest of it, and you know what's interesting is There were elements of it that I thought were far better than others. The fact that Nolan did almost all of it with practical effects, I think is the coolest part of the film, right? They could have done all these things with CGI and instead they said, not only are we going to go and let's say get access to the middle of the ocean, to these boats that look time period appropriate, right?
Ian MalcolmBut even that the Cyclops... that they didn't use CGI. They used practical effects and it was basically like a hundred foot mannequin. I think that's amazing, right? Those are unbelievably grand ideas that Nolan has. And because of the budgets, he's able to bring that to life in a way that almost nobody else could. So I give that immense credit for everything that he built.
Ian MalcolmWhat I would say is that they also, towards the end of the film, for anybody that saw it, I don't want to spoil any of the story arc here. But the moment where he plucks the bow, I'll just say, right? You've got this resonating sound that kind of reverberates through the theater. I got chills. It was spectacular the way that he did that with Matt Damon's character.
Ian MalcolmAnd so I give that film an Interstellar. I would also give an immense amount of love to. I didn't really totally love the ending, the way that he landed Interstellar. But that's... Neither here nor there, and everybody's gonna be open to different things.
Ian MalcolmDefinitely Elsa, bro. Definitely Elsa. Elsa's the girl.
@joann_marieNo, I'm a Nana person. Anna is more like me.
Ian MalcolmJoAnn, you're definitely a Nana person. I can see that one. You're going to finish each other's sandwiches, I think is the line.
@joann_marieYes, I love it.
Ian MalcolmBut no, I mean, look, even within Frozen, right, there's some suggestions that the Elsa character was... Let It Go was about her sexuality. I hope that wasn't the case. It very well might have been.
@jvniorWhat about WALL-E? Have you ever watched WALL-E?
Ian MalcolmWALL-E is a spectacular adult film.
@jvniorThat shit made me cry.
Ian MalcolmThere are some elements in WALL-E that are a little bit terrifying because its presentation of future humanity might be terrifyingly accurate.
Ian MalcolmI don't know if you remember, but it's literally like... The Black Mermaid She Went Black
Speaker 2No, is it a cartoon?
@ceanndachYeah. Well, and if I could point out, Ian...
@nietzsche258918I'll give you a hint, it involves cooking.
@ceanndachWhen it comes to Frozen, you also have all the Disney movies.
Speaker 3Is it Ratatouille?
@ceanndachIt is Ratatouille.
Speaker 3Oh, you're so cute!
@nietzsche258918Yes, I love that movie. Yeah, I think I've watched it more than once. Yeah, I should be ashamed to say that I've had any shame.
Ian MalcolmI'm sorry, Belteshazzar, you were saying?
@ceanndachI was just saying when you mentioned Frozen I'm like you also have the Disney movies like you have all these you know moments where they sort of like plant you know little subliminal hints into movies and it's just it wouldn't surprise me if if it really was the case that that's what they meant.
Ian MalcolmOh 100% and for what it's worth the subversion within Disney films I'm sure everybody remembers the original Little Mermaid which has a very phallic symbol on the cover of the the film It also, of course, has the priest who gets, let's say, a little bit too excited during the wedding scene. There's a lot of stuff. It was in the, what was it, The Lion King.
Ian MalcolmThey've got some inappropriate things, right? They've been doing this for a long time.
@joann_marieIn the one with the mouse, remember, Bianca, they literally have like a piece of porn in it, like literal porn.
@ceanndachAre you talking about the mouse kibitz?
@joann_marieThe Rescuers, The Rescuers, I think, with Bianca and...
Ian MalcolmI remember, yeah, The Rescuers, they were like detective mice, right?
@joann_marieYes. There is literal porn in it. I will look for the picture and post it.
Ian MalcolmYeah, it's all so sick. And you can just, you can imagine these perverted people that are trying to do this. And Fordsworth, the cover of The Little Mermaid.
Ian MalcolmI'm sure Walt Disney would have been rolling in his grave, but that's a whole different can of worms.
@joann_marieI think there was a guest in either Joe Rogan. I can't remember. I don't remember perfectly, but he said that he worked in Disney and his job was literally painting penises. Like he was hired for that. I will look for it. I cannot remember where this interview is. And I also didn't watch the entire thing. I just watched like a little clip here on Twitter and...
@joann_marieHi. Um...
@plastictotesI'd like to compliment David for his advice on going to a graveyard. When he said, look at the dash between the dates, it really gave me butterflies. But the movie I'd like to mention is Vision Quest. It's an 80s movie with Matthew Modine, and it's about a high school wrestler.
@plastictotesThe odds are really up against this kid. I mean, he comes from a broken home. He's living in urban sprawl. But the kid has willpower. And he has goals. And he also has a good mentor. And the importance of willpower, goals, and having someone To give you advice, I really just think it was an epic movie. That's everything.
@plastictotesThank you.
Ian MalcolmInteresting. Vision Quest. Going to have to add that to the list there. JoAnn, I just saw the picture. That's actually from the film? I can't believe that.
@joann_marieIsn't it crazy? It's not even hidden there. It's literally just there. It's insane.
Ian MalcolmSpeaking of Vision Quest, I will be on a quest to look for more. Rami, The New York Inquirer
Speaker 9Thank you Ian, JoAnn, David, Mandy. Hope you're all well. And everybody on the space. Right. Well, I have to agree with Mandy on, like we said, it should be a lot of us watching some old films because it always comes to nostalgia. It gives you some really good stuff and good stories and fresh in the old days. Like the way they do them, you don't need them anymore.
Speaker 9I agree with David. One of my favorite animation had to be Ratatouille. Now, I can share two of my favorite films of all time, whatever it has to be, because what I love about this one I'm going to mention, you can watch the film two times and you see it in two different perspectives, which is not many films can do that.
Speaker 9It's called The Shawshank Redemption, when if you watch it the first time, you go follow the film through the whole thing and then you feel for the character stuff. You watch it a second time, you go through the characters' emotion in a different perspective. I thought that was fascinating based on a short story by Stephen King.
Speaker 9But the film was phenomenal in my opinion. The way it's being done and just like the character go through and then you're thinking, yeah, I don't want to be submitted if people haven't seen it. It's just really worth a watch, if you know what I mean. And then another one is an old film. From 1957, I would say 12 Angry Men, if anybody's seen it.
Speaker 9It's a fantastic turn around from the beginning and how the whole thing turns. It's about the jury and then, yeah, they're trying to get a guy and then, you know, what happened to the end is fantastic. How, you know, one person could change the whole perspective of the whole case and how other people see it. That's all I'd like to share with you guys.
Speaker 9Great to see you. Thank you.
Ian MalcolmKind of a strange setting for an exciting story, but that is a wonderful one. Very well stated there. Let's go to Rami, and then we'll go to New York.
Ian MalcolmDo you have any addition there, Rami?
Speaker 9No, that's all I can show you for now. I mean, as I said, this is the ones that I was going to mention, but already David beat me to it. Ratatouille is a great one. It's a rat. It's a cook. Fantastic. It's a great story. And then, yeah.
@seanbelanger007Where this playwright travels back in time to meet this actress he falls in love with. So that's an absolute beautiful romantic movie.
@joann_marieI love Hercules I used to know the entire movie like all of the quotes in Spanish and I used to do all of the voices like that I had it in VHS so I watched it like a million times and it's I love Hercules and also that's why I like when we went to Greece I was like losing my mind I was like my god I'm in here it's awesome I love Hercules excellent movie
@joann_marieI don't even know.
Ian MalcolmNew Yorker, I apologize. It's showing all the hands up on my end. I'm not exactly sure what that is. So, JoAnn, pop quiz. Can you name the, because presuming you're talking about the cartoon Hercules, can you name the singer behind the theme song of Hercules, the Disney version?
@joann_marieIt's Ricky Martin. Or at least in Spanish, it's Ricky Martin. I don't know who is it in English. I don't know. I was listening in Spanish.
@seanbelanger007I gotta hear that version. Ricky Martin has a Hercules song? Wait, it's Livin' La Vida Hercules? Really?
@joann_marieNo. In Spanish, it was Hercules. Like, Hercules was the voice of Hercules. I don't know who is it in English.
Ian MalcolmWow. Okay. New York Inquirer, can you name who was the singer behind the Hercules theme? I do not know. We're going to have to, well, if you've got that answer, put it into the purple pill. Let's just say he's, he was one of the hair band, kind of sultry singers. The ladies loved him and JoAnn, here's a hint. He would have been considered opposite of Kenny G in terms of his, his styling, but a different instrument.
Ian MalcolmSo we'll see if anybody gets that. We'll keep our eye on the purple pill there.
@joann_marieCan AJ, the person with the trumpet or the saxophone?
Ian MalcolmWhat did he play, the clarinet or something like that?
@joann_marieSaxophone, I think, I don't know. The opposite of, Ian, you and your curveballs.
Ian MalcolmNot opposite in terms of the exact contrast, but you can see the two of them up on a stage, and one's basically playing the instrument, the other would be singing, and they have a similar vibe, I think is maybe the way to phrase it.
Ian MalcolmI don't know. I don't know.
@pardonwillartBaked into that, like Finding Forrester. And then this other movie that has Christian Bale's early start called Swing Kids, which you guys would probably call Goyslop. But it is a great film because there's a certain genre that's kind of like the hero's journey, but it's where they have an established status or presence in the world, and then the world begins to fall apart around them versus them venturing off into a quest.
@pardonwillartAnd that's... That's a bit of an SLC punk where the world kind of falls around them and they have to shift and move and they're a different person on the outside. Same with Swing Kids and same with Finding Forrester. So I thought that genre seems to be my favorite style genre. And there's other movies that do it as well, like Weatherman with Nicolas Cage and a lot of these indie films do that.
@pardonwillartBut SLC punk, that's my jam.
Ian MalcolmInteresting. And I'm just looking for that right now. So David W... So these are a little bit more artistic in nature or indie film kind of style? How would you describe them?
@pardonwillartI think they're supposed to be pop. They're kind of cult classics now, but I think they were trying to be mainstream and they failed. So yeah, you can call them indie. I mean, Finding Forrester has Sean Connery in it. What? Yeah, Swing Kids has the guy from ER, the main guy from ER, has Christian Bale. has the guy who plays, he's in the Marvel films, he plays Nemo, no, Zemo.
@pardonwillartSo there's like big actors early on, but these are just movies that didn't really go far. But SLC Punk was a pretty big hit. It's a cult classic now.
Ian MalcolmOoh, everybody, these are some good nuggets. These are ones I'm not familiar with. I'm gonna have to add these to the list. SLC Punk with Matthew Lillard. The only thing I remember him from, Mav, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmSo, JoAnn, if I think of that genre in general, and I guess you kind of describe it as the youth going through some kind of learning experience, I think the one that would stand out as my immediate answer would have to be Ferris Bueller, would be the go-to. Oh, no, I see we lost JoAnn. I think she went over, perhaps, to Mr. Truthteller's room, because I think he is opening up his subscriber space.
Ian MalcolmIf you have not subscribed to Mr. Truthteller, he's absolutely an... OG of this entire movement that we are currently kind of undergoing. So certainly give lots of love, not only to JoAnn for being here with us when she was able to, but also to Truth Teller. If you're able to subscribe to him, certainly one of the absolute best to do that with on this application.
Ian MalcolmBut wonderful suggestions there, David. Let's go to Mr. Safi, and then we'll go back to Lindsay and then check in with Dr. Strange.
@safikhan1839244Hi sir, thank you for giving me opportunity and hi and hello to everyone that is on this space. So actually my topic that I want to discuss and I want to ask you since you have a lot of knowledge on that, it is about the movies and their influence on the society. Like recently what you guys are seeing in the Hollywood, like movies like Citizen Vigilante and the Ben Shapiro movies regarding the propaganda against the Muslims.
@safikhan1839244We are seeing this kind of a propaganda in Indian movies since there is a Hindu nationalist government in India since 2014 and like lot of these things are like they are making the movies for a propaganda purposes so I just want to like ask you about this like how much like someone can like take advantage of liberties in the movie making and why other side like us
@safikhan1839244I'm not saying that you are a Muslim, like a human being, like why we are not able to make movies based on Talmud and their views regarding the goyim. So that's what my question was, and I will be very thankful if you answer me, sir.
Ian MalcolmYou know, that's a great question there, Safi, and I mean, citizen vigilante, isn't it curious and totally predictable? That every major influencer got behind that. I'm sorry?
Ian MalcolmSafi, I missed that.
@safikhan1839244No, I say I didn't like you guys cut it off. So I thought maybe you didn't hear me, but I think you hear my questions.
Ian MalcolmOh, yeah, no, certainly did. And isn't it predictable that all the right wing commentators got behind Citizen Vigilante and... were recommending it to all of their audiences. And I found it very interesting to see those that normally talk critically of certain things like, say, for example, Israel, but that were happy to share and advertise on behalf of citizen vigilante, which obviously is pushing the anti-Muslim, anti-migrant rhetoric for the explicit purpose of creating more drama.
Ian MalcolmMore problems to take people's eye off of the actual problem, which is Jewish supremacy and their use of all these mediums to propagandize the masses. And it was very, very, very transparent, not only that Elon Musk and a whole bunch of others that we could predictably presume would go about kind of celebrating that, but also a whole lot, like I was saying, of the right-wing influencers that you would think would be aware of
Ian Malcolmfor President.
Ian MalcolmThey're not seeing the final picture
Ian MalcolmAnd so we are seeing that for sure in the West. There's a whole lot of just very obvious and overt propaganda like that. I think they're going to heighten it even further. And there was also that weird movie with something Butler. It's not Aaron Butler, whatever his name is, the blonde haired actor. He was in something where they basically had the, they tried to romanticize Jewish gangsters, like Orthodox Jewish gangsters.
Ian MalcolmIt was very strange. And so the direction that Hollywood is going and I don't exactly know, but I would be curious, what kind of propaganda are you seeing in your markets? Because here it's very obviously get people excited to go to yet another Middle Eastern war and to get people to hate the Muslims. That seems to be the overarching themes.
@safikhan1839244Well sir like I'm from Pakistan but like in our country we don't have the cinema because of the previous Islamic rule so we watch the Hindi cinema and we see that like Indians were using a propaganda they were copying the
@safikhan1839244Thank you for watching this video.
@safikhan1839244So like what we are seeing that they are trying to influence people but in India we see that people get influenced and they get the vote but I'm surprised like in your western societies people are educated like the Ben Shapiro movie I forget the name of that movie but if you see is a wild propaganda and like you can see that it is a propaganda but no one like they are taking the advantage of I think civil liberties and they are making these movies but no one has
@safikhan1839244And when we see this type of a picture, we get scared with that. And that was something that I want to share with you.
Ian MalcolmWell, and thank you for doing so. And always love to get differing, not only perspectives and worldviews, but also those from varying lived experiences. Thank you, Safi, for coming in and sharing that. and it is interesting to hear the difference in propaganda between the East and the West so wonderfully stated. Let's check in with the one and only Mr. Raed and then we'll go down to Dr.
Ian MalcolmStrange for his favorite film of all time.
Ian MalcolmAnd let's maybe jump right to Dr. Strange.
@submission2tHey Ian. David, good to see you. It's been a while. Hope you're doing well. Amazing space as usual. Such a fascinating topic. So I think folks have already mentioned a lot of the movies that I've liked. But I want to reiterate the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and I would add to it the Rings of Power. Now, I like... The Lord of the Rings, one of the reasons why I like Lord of the Rings is based on Tolkien's books, right?
@submission2tAt least a good chunk of it. And Tolkien's genius was taking a human failing, which is humanity's desire for power, which is inanimate, and showcasing it through something tangible in the form of a ring, right? So people desires it, the ring that is, But they essentially succumb to it and lose their own humanity and soul.
@submission2tAnd he did it so well. The story was written so well that it really captured something that goes across culture. It's something very unique to humanity. Now, innately, we know what's wrong and right. We know that killing children is wrong. Killing innocent people is wrong. But people do it anyways, right? Because their desire for power, their desire for lust, their desire for ego, greed, leads them to commit these terrible atrocities.
@submission2tNow, one of the instances within the movie that I like, there are many instances, was when Grimma Wormtongue was whispering into the ears of King Rohan. and he had them on under his spell and I was the first one that created a little image of Grima Wormtongue with an Israeli flag on him and King Rohan had a US flag on it and I posted it up and shortly after like a few months everybody was like basically doing the same thing but I saw it blatantly like the perfect example of what was happening to us in the US
@submission2tWe were in a Zionist chokehold for years and that picture basically captured it best. Now with Rings of Power, if anybody has not seen it, highly recommend you watch it. Just phenomenal storyline. Now Sauron comes in the form of a man and he's weak, meaning he hasn't gained his full strength. And in the process, while he's gaining his full strength, he's extremely good at being deceptive and pitting all of his adversaries against each other.
@submission2tLike while he's basically gaining more and more power, he's getting everybody to fight each other while he's kind of rising up. And he ends up killing all of his own, his adversaries through others. Simply by being deceptive and pitting one over the other. And you could see how that's being played out these days. Now, I'll end with this.
@submission2tThere's a lot that people say about Senator Joseph McCarthy, about McCarthyism, whatever. But there's one thing that nobody can deny that he pointed out back then. He railed and kept on pointing out The Power and Influence of Hollywood and TV. And he was dead on. He kept saying that, look, this is a powerful entity that can sway the masses.
@submission2tWe need to have some sort of regulation, control, whatever. He was the first one that basically echoed that. And now everybody's basically speaking about McCarthyism in... In whatever way they want, obviously we know that. But the reality is that he pointed to something that became very detrimental to, I would say, our society.
@submission2tOur society transformed 180 degrees between the 1950s, 60s, compared to today. And the media system had a huge role that it played in. Now, when I got exposed to the Muslims early on, when I was younger and I got exposed to a lot of their thoughts, one of the things that they would say is that, oh, look, you know, they would say that the media or Hollywood or TV is like the part of the Antichrist system.
@submission2tI was like, what the heck? At first I was a little baffled. I mean, why would you say that? They're like, no, this is really part of the Antichrist system. And they would go on to say that this is really changing human nature. And there's a Quranic verse that they showed me. And they said, one of Satan's, Satan says in chapter four, the chapter on woman, chapter four, verse 119, it says,
@submission2tSatan says to God about humanity, and he says, And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them sinful desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of God. Now, slitting the ears of cattle was an indication that animal was consecrated for gods or goddesses.
@submission2tIt was like a superstitious thing that they did. It's interesting how nowadays there's the red heifer idea that people are after. But nonetheless, the point I was trying to get at is that they were trying to explain to me that the media system is essentially altering the natural order of God's creation.
@bleeedblueeIt's changing you. Movies, what do you read? Who's speaking? Who's speaking? I am speaking, but you actually confirmed me. What's your name? Bleed Blue. You actually confirmed me.
@submission2tI'm not done yet. Hold on. Yeah. Bleed, may you hold, okay. Yeah, I didn't see his hand up. But long story short, it said the satanic means is actually to invert the natural order of how we were created. Our roles got reversed in so many ways. And now we see the degeneracy that media has pushed upon us where society has become completely, I would say, handicapped in so many ways.
@submission2tBut I'm glad people are waking up. I'll land there, but I appreciate you giving me the mic. And sorry for the long-windedness.
Ian MalcolmNo, never apologize. It was great. And Dr. Strange, I agree with you on the Lord of the Rings. There's so many different ways
Ian MalcolmI think that essentially the Jewish supremacists think that AI is the one ring to rule them all. I think that they believe that they're going to be able to use that to control just about everything, right? Not just the past and the present, but people's future as a result. But that essentially, then it becomes that one ring against us, which is the idea of truth, right?
Ian MalcolmSo perhaps, Perhaps they're trying to create this superpower and then maybe my analogy is wrong because maybe truth is ultimately the ring in the sense that as long as you have that on your side, it doesn't matter what armies are against you, that is going to inevitably hold out. And so it really is, it's going to be wild to see all this play out, but either way, The Lord of the Rings is an absolutely phenomenal story, Dr.
Ian MalcolmStrange.
@submission2tAnd mind you, I want to reiterate, The Rings of Power, which was a precursor to The Lord of the Rings, The storyline is a precursor to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It's phenomenal. I highly recommend it if you haven't watched it yet.
Ian MalcolmInteresting. I'm going to have to check that out. Let's go to Blee for their favorite film of all time.
@bleeedblueeI like what the guy was saying. Actually, I'm very selective because I do invest time. and watching movies and you know you dedicate times you know um so i don't have time to watch dumb movies but yeah lord of the rings i actually watched it in the movie theater the first one i didn't watch the whole trilogy um but yeah it's very very nice very fantasy and you can learn a lot from it me um i'm so into movies um like
@bleeedblueeIt has to take you to another dimension. Also, I like, you know, basically I like crime, gangster movies like The Godfathers and Scarface, Inceptions. That's another genre I like. I like a movie like Seven. I like serial killers. It's nice to, for you, you have to study evil. What was the other movie? Uh, Rufus, the guy that did The Matrix.
@bleeedblueeI liked The Matrix too. He was a lawyer. I think he did some sort of deal with the devil. A lot of movies got to do with the devils.
Ian MalcolmThe Devil's Advocate, I think, with Keanu.
@bleeedblueeYeah, The Devil's Advocate, where he was the lawyer. Also, Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise was one of the movies I liked about Tom Cruise. He was also played as a lawyer. I think it was a movie also. A few good men? No, he was like a lawyer and he got adopted into this cultural thing, this crazy movie I forgot. He also had to deal with making deals with the devil.
@bleeedblueeThe devil is not literally the devil, it's the system.
Ian MalcolmYou're talking Eyes Wide Shut, the Kubrick film?
@bleeedblueeYes, yes, yes, yes. And I watched that way before. Yeah, way before. It's crazy how his wife was getting sick and all of that. It was kind of creepy. But it's real stuff, guys. Because, you know, when somebody wants to espionage you, when somebody wants to control you, they have to take over your mind. And the way that it is, they have to submit you somehow, somewhere.
@bleeedblueeYou remember Kanye West when the guy was telling him, hey, I'm going to meditate you so much to the level that you're not going to play with your kids the same way. So if they see that you're bright, you're smart, and you're intelligent, and you've got talent, and you think outside the box, you're not a sheep, you're not a herd, they're trying to submit you.
@bleeedblueeSo I watched those type of movies. I don't know, like... My wife thinks I'm crazy because she's like, why do you always watch these devil movies? And I sometimes sit down and watch these Desperate Romantic or Desperately, what do they call it? Desperately in Love or something shit like that. I'm like, yeah, but I do like those movies.
@bleeedblueeI like, like it has, it leaves an impact on me. I like also certain studios, certain directors. Now, the brother was speaking right now. Yes, there are some Zionists or, you know, certain group of people, but they're creative. And sometimes, you know, with the artistic way they can produce movies that, it's not a flop movies.
@bleeedblueeSee, like I could watch Batman, I could watch, I don't like superhero movies that much. I like movies with storyline and a plot and twist a plot that you can learn something from. but at the same time I welcome sometimes you have to inject yourself with the evilness or to know that you know somebody trying to deliver a bad message but for you to get your immune system to get stronger you have to get exposed to those materials you have to learn what's the story about it you know so
@bleeedblueeA lot of movies, I take the goods and I leave the bad, but I developed an experience where I can... I also like movies like Inceptions, The Wall for Pink Floyd. It's not a movie, but it's more like... So, moral of the story, I don't have a favorite movie. It's kind of tough, tough, tough to pinpoint a favorite movie just because they're all good and I all enjoy it.
@bleeedblueeYeah, it's a pretty tough question, bro. Like, when you say top ten. But yeah, there are movies that I could say, yes, I would suggest that people to watch it. There are also shows. I think shows nowadays, they're catching up with movies. Actually, they've surpassed movies. I just caught myself watching more shows. And the older I get, the more I...
@bleeedblueeConsume this. The more I read, the more I watch stuff, the more I write. You know, I'm in my late 30s, so I'm more like not trying to go out, not trying to see people as much as I... I learned a lot. And it's an eye-opening. These movies, and if you know how to select movies... Oh! I like also musical things like I watched the other day, Amedeus.
@bleeedblueeI don't know if you guys watched that movie, Amedeus. They talk about Beethoven and the Italian guy, I forgot his name, that's jealous of him. I also actually enjoyed that movie a lot. Yeah, so, and they don't make good movies anymore. I noticed good movies literally stopped. They stopped making good movies. Thank you for coming up here, Blee.
@bleeedblueeReally appreciate the...
Ian MalcolmThe commentary and it's been wonderful to hear from everybody with their different perspectives. Let's see if I think Robert's been having some connection. Oh, go for it, Dr.
@submission2tStrange. Just a quick point. What's interesting is that in Lord of the Rings, there's the concept of Palantir, right? That same very concept that the company Palantir basically came up with their solution around. The Ball That You Could See The Future Into
Ian MalcolmHas anyone talked about The Godfather yet?
Ian MalcolmA little bit, but always curious for different perspectives, so feel free to share.
@robertsjohn940The International Tycoon, where he's there with like it's supposed to be like the CIA and a whole bunch of like industrial tycoons like oil and telephone companies and stuff like that. But part three, I think, is kind of what we're dealing with nowadays, where we have this cabal of elite bankers. And in part, I'm sorry, in part three, it really touches on in Italy, the P2 Masonic Lodge and the whole banking scandal that was going on at the time.
@robertsjohn940And when you really look at what's happening in the Epstein files, I would say that's kind of what's going on right now. And I think that film series kind of really gave us a glimpse into, I guess, the evolution of American corruption and how it's evolved and what it is now. That's really about it.
Ian MalcolmYeah, no, and it's wild to think that the... The corrupt gangsters of yesterday seem tame compared to the degeneracy of today.
@robertsjohn940And not only that, but they literally paved the way and founded the, I guess, cornerstones for a lot of, I mean, even I believe like what the original mobsters helped laid the foundation for the Ergon and the Lehigh and the Sturgang. So it's just what a crazy intersection. Hey, Robert.
@bleeedblueeDo you remember that scene, Freddo scene, when he was talking to his older brother? That kind of crazy scene. I don't know if you remember it, Robert. I'm sorry, what did you say? The Freddo scene, when he said, I know it was you, when he was talking to his brother.
@robertsjohn940Oh, yeah, that was a nice scene. Great scene.
@bleeedblueeI thought that was the craziest scene when he confronted his brother. It was kind of sad. But it's a lot of... Yeah, Godfather. Honestly, I'm sorry to interrupt, but that's one of the movies I really committed to watch the whole trilogy. And the funny thing is Michael was not like... He did not want to be... Which is, we have a saying, leadership have to seek you.
@bleeedblueeYou don't have to seek the leadership. And he was forced to be, you know.
@robertsjohn940Well, also, I would say too, like, the whole, I think, idea of what Coppola is trying to, like, show us too is that, because Michael's obsessed with trying to, like, in his mind, he's trying to, like, make it legit. But the higher and higher he goes throughout each movie,
@bleeedblueeThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
@bleeedblueeIt became ruthless after that. Because he didn't want to be part of this. I think he was a lawyer or some sort of, I can't remember.
@robertsjohn940I don't know. I think that's more like a surface level.
@nietzsche258918No, no, it could be so. He's like, I had this hot Apollonia and now I'm stuck with Cape. Everybody's going to pay.
@robertsjohn940No, I don't.
@bleeedblueeDavid, I'm curious for your thoughts on those two films.
@nietzsche258918First rule about Goodfellas. Oh, wait, I got him confused. Well, I wasn't that big into fight clubs. I'm not into the whole, oh, it was all made up or whatever. But Goodfellas, you know, classic Scorsese. And really, you know, it's an original film. And I love the music he made. If you take the music out of some of these great films or you change it,
@nietzsche258918I notice bad music in a film, by the way. And I make fun of it when they don't have the music right for the film. Like, what the hell? This is a murder scene and it's like happy music, you know? But no, Scorsese did it right. It was an absolute masterpiece. Casino, not so much. It was kind of a remake of Goodfellas. But no, I really, I thought Goodfellas was... My favorite scene in Goodfellas is when his wife is leaving, Henry Hill's wife is leaving.
@nietzsche258918I find it interesting that you brought up music a little bit there because that was one of the things that kind of as I listened to you guys talk about movies
@darthprophetAnd hopefully you can hear me and I'm not interrupting. I didn't know if you were taking it. So I will tell you the movie that I find to be, and you're not going to get it the first time you watch it. And I think that's true with most movies, is the movie Come and See. And especially when you learn the history of how that movie came to be and how real and true that movie is.
@darthprophetAnd then, you know, when you suffer through the movie and you get to that very final scene, and for those that don't know, Come and See is based on real events that occurred in Belarus in 1942 and 43, and the absolute devastation of humans, and all humans, it's not just, it's Slavic... Ethnic Ashkenazis, you name it And it's amazing to watch that movie And the final sequence where you follow right from the very beginning This very young man, he's too young to be into war But the nation is suffering greatly And this war has come to his front doorstep It's very interesting though
@bleeedblueeSo I want to add, do you think like Hollywood, they misrepresented the Soviets, the Soviet Union, the Russians in general? Like every time I want to be like portraying you guys, that's in the Cold War. Do you think it was the right way? I don't know how you, like, when they talk about, like, Black Hawk Down is a movie about Somalia.
@bleeedblueeI'm Somali. And, unfortunately, Hollywood, they hired people from Nigeria. They, like, I mean, it's not even, that's not really how it really happened. I feel like, I think it's kind of sloppy. Like, you know what I'm saying? Well, I agree. I agree. But this movie, just so you understand. I was a child when I watched Die Hard.
@bleeedblueeI don't know if you can hear me or not This isn't a movie, an American made movie
@darthprophetThis is actually, this movie was actually made in 1984 and it took them 30 years to get the Kremlin to agree to allow the movie to be made and to be made the way it was made and to be as truthful as it is. Hello, I can't hear nothing. Is there a voice? Who can hear me and who can't? Can I see any hands?
Ian MalcolmYeah, I think he can. He just keeps interrupting you.
@darthprophetWell, maybe if I... I try not to blow people's ears out by turning up my mic, but the history of making this movie is just as informative as the movie itself. As a matter of fact, I don't think you can, unless you understand what it took for the people and the travails that occurred over two decades to get this movie made.
@darthprophetAnd then the actors and the actresses and the people involved in the movie, the whole thing, it really, you can watch the movie, you can get a real strong essence. And then when you understand the backstory to the people in the movie, their connections to the real life times that some of the people that are in that movie were actually in these events that the movie portrays.
@darthprophetand then the personal suffering that the actors put upon themselves to make themselves exactly like mentally and psychologically and physically and the condition of the people I mean it's an incredible believe it or not because it's such a it's a movie you know here we are in in 2026 and this movie came out in 1984 and it became world renowned I mean
@darthprophetCritics around the world exclaimed how awesome this movie is. And if you watch it, you might think in the beginning it's slow and it's dragging. But if you're paying attention to it, and you can watch it on YouTube for free with no commercials, just put in come and see. And it's one of those movies that gives you discernment that you couldn't have gotten otherwise.
@darthprophetAnd I think I would say this. Consider like you were talking about Black Hawk Down and the actions that the U.S. military and U.S. government has taken around the globe. You could see, you could now relate to those people in Somalia. You can relate to those people in Baghdad. Because in a way, there is that flip of script.
@darthprophetand I know we're all pro our own country we're all pro our own people but we have to have discernment to discern did we go too far did we do the right thing and then learn the lessons and if we're not learning lessons then we're just going back and that's on my point but what I wanted to add is what David said that I think you'll find more in music than you will in movies
@darthprophetVincent by Don McLean
@darthprophetAnd then to understand the lyrics and transpose that with the life of Vincent Van Gogh, it's amazing. There's numerous songs that you've heard every day that have real personal depth and meaning, and the lyrics are basically transferring discernment of the writers and the people involved, their discernment.
@nietzsche258918Well, I mean, these are just different genres, right? And it's true. In fact, speaking of different genres, if you read the Letters to Theo by Vincent van Gogh, his letters, he wrote like you painted. He wrote with great imagery and passion. He was actually, I consider him to be one of the great writers of the 19th century.
@nietzsche258918And because of that, I took the time to read those letters. But with movies, you know, It's the telling of the story. You notice the great directors, they take the time to develop the characters and tell the story. And that way you can find yourself within those stories. And I do believe that the music matters. Someone mentioned Lawrence of Arabia, the story of T.E.
@nietzsche258918Lawrence, the three pillars of wisdom that he wrote, which is what they leveraged for that movie. And David Lean, this great director, He took the music so seriously. I think some Bolero was in there. I think he has Ravel, I should say. And it just makes all the difference. I remember, Ian, Monty Python, they told a story when they made Life of Brian.
@nietzsche258918No, I'm sorry, it was The Meaning of Life. It didn't seem very good. It was just missing something. And they realized that they couldn't do what they did on television.
@nietzsche258918For them to act through bad script writing. And then of course, lastly, the story itself. I mean, really, that's story. That's the big thing and they take the time to develop it. So that's, I noticed, for instance, in old movies, you know, someone, I think Mandy mentioned, It's a Wonderful Life. What do these movies cost?
@nietzsche258918Like $5, you know? And the camera is essentially a bookshelf camera. It's just sitting there and people are having to do, say, what's that called? Oh yeah, acting, you know? And so it's the storytelling and the acting. It's as though that they're confined to having to demonstrate skill and use great storytelling. They can't make up for it with a bunch of prurience or a bunch of sort of... Oh, hold on a minute.
@xxpuzzlegirlThe best actors and actresses get to ad-lib a bit, especially if it fits the script. Directors are not always right. and writers are not always right. The best example of that is Robin Williams.
@nietzsche258918Okay, well, that's true, but you know, don't diminish. I'll give you an example. George Bernard Shaw, who is obviously one of the great writers of all time.
Speaker 5Yes.
@nietzsche258918George Bernard Shaw wrote Pygmalion. And they tried and failed Pygmalion several times. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let's pretend that one of us is talking so that the other one doesn't interrupt. So George Bernard Shaw, he actually helped write the one that worked with Leslie Howard. So writing actually matters. Thinking through it matters.
@nietzsche258918By the way, actors contributing in ad-libbing, that's important. They actually, good directors, will work with the actor when the actor says... Well, this doesn't really work. I mean, I wouldn't say this to this person standing here. You know who the father of that was? Was Moliere, who was a playwright. He was the father of it.
@nietzsche258918He was contemporaneous, I believe, with Shakespeare. But he wrote comedic, you know, plays. But what he would do is he'd work it out actually on the stage physically. Oh, well, you're going to walk over there. I'm going to stand over there. So, yeah, actors, great actors were able to make a contribution here, work with the director.
@nietzsche258918But the writing is so very important, so underestimated.
@xxpuzzlegirlAnd that is absolutely correct, 100%. However, if you miss an and or a that or a the or whatever, if you're doing a movie like Sense and Sensibility, yes, you have to stick to the script, absolutely 100%. But at the end of the day, I agree with you. Great actors get to talk to the directors like Russell Crowe and Wrigley Scott.
@xxpuzzlegirlThey have a great relationship. They can talk, they can work out a scene if the actor, Russell, doesn't think that it's working. That's all I was kind of talking about, really.
Ian MalcolmWell, thank you for that, Elizabeth. And I'm just looking around and I think we've got Kate Lynn and NOLA GOY who we've not heard from. So why don't we go to Kate and then we'll go to NOLA for their greatest film ever.
Speaker 10I love this question. I'm such a sucker for this. Jaws.
Ian MalcolmInteresting. Okay, so Kate, Jaws is a very good one. So somebody brought that up earlier. And I will ask you because you're a fan of the film. So tell me about your thoughts on the three characters and how perhaps Jaws is both a monster movie but then also a film about, let's just say, mankind.
@kaitlinmil89Yeah. I mean, there's lots of things to dissect, of course, if that's the case with any movie, fine. And I love this question particularly because I ask people it a lot. And I think a lot of people get tripped up on like, what's your favorite movie versus like... What's the best movie of all time? They're very different, right?
@kaitlinmil89Jaws is just my favorite movie. And as a cinephile, my reasons are one, I am a fan of Old Spielberg. I just am. Two, I love cinema. The zoom-in effect, it was the first time as... to my knowledge at least that the zoom in effect was utilized in a movie obviously this was filmed in the 60s and but they didn't have the technology with cameras of course that we do now so they actually put a camera on a dolly and would crank it to zoom in like when the person on the beach was like shark or whatever it was like they would crank the like on a you know a dolly of some kind which was super cool
@kaitlinmil89I know it's technically based on a true story. There was a great white that terrorized the shores of...
Ian MalcolmThe bull shark in New Jersey.
@kaitlinmil89Yeah, exactly. But I love... Horror film, I always find it strange that it's considered a horror film. I get that. The book is, my dad always tells me, is terrifying. But I love those three main characters, right? The chief... The College Boy, and then Quinn or whatever, right? And when he tells that story, like, when they're all showing their battle scars in the, you know, in the boat, and he tells a story about why he's never ever going to put on a life vest again, and that there was a secret mission and a torpedo hit there.
@kaitlinmil89Like, that's a true story. And from what I've read, because I've read a lot into the movie, too, is that that was almost somewhat ad-libbed. They kind of just let him talk. Like, that was not... I love everything about it. I love the dialogue. I love everything about it. He's like, a shark goes in the water, the cage goes in the water, you go in the cage.
@kaitlinmil89And he's like, oh, Spanish ladies. Like, there's so many things that are ad-libbed and nuanced for that time period.
@kaitlinmil89That's my personal pick for my favorite movie of Jaws.
Ian MalcolmFar better job creating the horror beneath the surface of the water.
@kaitlinmil89I could not agree more. That is so accurate. Yes.
Ian MalcolmSo here's the other one. Somebody brought this one up. So you mentioned Quint. Have you ever given thought, because this had not occurred to me. I saw this not too long ago. Had you ever given thought to the significance of Chief Brody trying to call for help? If you remember, he's saying Mayday, Mayday. And Quinn comes in with a baseball bat.
Ian MalcolmAny thoughts on that?
@kaitlinmil89I mean, like maybe there's a deeper answer here that I don't know. But to me that all I think that I don't know if it was a suicide mission for Quinn. Clearly, there's depth to that character. There's trauma. There's, you know, unresolved. So there's there's so so much depth.
@kaitlinmil89Yeah, I don't know, like, you know, it's clearly he's painted, like, an erratic character, but I think that him, you know, sharing that story, one also saying he'll never put on a life vest once, it's like, it felt, I don't know, maybe just, like, some kind of personal mission, some kind of, like, I don't know, I don't want to say, like, suicide attempt, but just, like, no, we're going to do this my way, and, like, this is how we're going down, and, like, you're not calling for help, it doesn't work, like, I just felt like perhaps it was...
@kaitlinmil89The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmTo your reference there, the USS Indianapolis, right? The boat that went down, all the sailors go in the water. Yeah, and they all get attacked by sharks, right? And so this idea that he had previously been on a boat that was incapable of sending out a distress signal, and as a result, everybody went down into the water and had to fend off the sharks.
Ian MalcolmHe's basically repeating the same... I don't know if that was just for me or for the...
Ian MalcolmNo, no, just for you and for General. So the rumor is that the actor who played Quint and Richard Dreyfuss who played Hooper, that the two of them basically hated each other and were at each other's throats almost the entire movie.
@kaitlinmil89Which feels a little offensive based on their characters in the movie, yeah.
Ian MalcolmExactly, and you can feel the tension between those two.
@kaitlinmil89That makes sense, yes.
Ian MalcolmYeah, it was very, it was viewed that, I think the actor who played Quint was a much more storied actor at the time when that film was coming out than Richard Dreyfuss, who was a younger guy, which is ironic because in retrospect, Richard Dreyfuss went on to have an immense career and is an incredibly kind of well-regarded actor.
Ian MalcolmBut no, and all the troubles that they had with the shark, the troubles that they had with filming, if anybody has not seen the behind the film of Jaws,
Ian MalcolmAre kind of similar stories where they're monster millies that aren't.
@kaitlinmil89Infiltrating, manipulating ecosystems that we have no reason to do. It is incredibly telling and almost ahead of its time if you think about it in terms of cloning or whatever it is, like AI, whatever. But we're doing this. We're not supposed to be here. They're not supposed to be here with us. And it's like, oh, well, they're just females.
@kaitlinmil89They can't procreate. He goes, life finds a way. And that is a very significant line in that movie that I think is... More profound than probably meets the eye from the typical viewer.
Ian MalcolmThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian Malcolmfor a final talk track here on the greatest film ever. And then we will come back up to our incredible co-host of honor, Mr. David Nietzsche, and get some final thoughts before wrapping up the space.
Speaker 11I'll probably have to. I have a few.
Speaker 11But my favorite has to be the Terrifier or Horror. Because if you notice, The Demon Killer has a long-ass nose like a Jew, which is pretty funny.
Speaker 11And Braveheart, but I think because I'm related to him, my ancestors was Robert Bruce, but I think
Speaker 11Outlaw King was more historically accurate.
Ian MalcolmThere's some accuracy towards it, but some of the characters, the way in which it's presented, etc., a little bit off. David, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the intricacies there, but given the background, it might be something that you might want to comment on as we come around.
@nietzsche258918paints himself, you know, Freud said that all men are heroes in their dreams, which I'm not sure that's true, but I think that's true of Elon Musk, but you're no hero because you're the nobles. You would have sided against William Wallace. You wouldn't have said, no, no, no, no, I'm on your side. Yes, we should not be oppressed.
@nietzsche258918Yes, we should fight for our freedom. No, no, no, what do the nobles say? The nobles say, oh, can I keep my land? Can I keep all my money? Can I have some more money, please? Thank you. Then I'm on your side. I'm not... I'm not on the side for freedom. I'm on your side. So that's really what's great about that story. And of course, when the people stopped listening to the nobles and they listened to William Wallace, the nobles knew that the jig was up.
@nietzsche258918You know, hello, Ed Sheeran, you know, when you think everybody's going to like you when you're taking the Falcian bargain, when you're taking the 30 pieces of silver. And of course, William Wallace inevitably met his demise. It redounded the history of freedom, right? So that's why the people don't like that story or are uncomfortable with that story.
@nietzsche258918They want to enslave us because in the long stretch of time, freedom wins out, and it wins out because of people like William Wallace.
Ian MalcolmIt absolutely does, and that's in the long history, right, the storied history of all this. David, I really am, I'm convinced that the end of the day... The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmOut of all of the people that came up here, I don't think that there was a single film. If there was, please correct me in the purple pill. But at least 90, if not 95, if not 100% of all the films that everybody mentioned, well, they're at least 5, if not 10, if not 20 plus years old. Why is it that people go back to Jaws in the 70s?
Ian MalcolmThey go back to The Godfather, I think, in a similar era. Jurassic Park, I think, was circa 1993, if I'm not mistaken. Why is it people are going back two, three, four, five, six decades to try and find something that they think is really fantastic? And it's because this medium, it is weaponized against us. It's used to demoralize.
Ian MalcolmIt's used to bring us down and to not only remove our spirit and our sense of sensibilities, but also to just paint a really bleak tomorrow. for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmAnd at the end of the day, what does the word nation even mean? Well, at its root, it's Latin for family or for a tribe or a race or a people, right? That is what we are essentially defending, the right for peoples to have autonomy over the future of their civilizations so that they can be better, right? And by better, I mean that they can be protected, they can thrive, they can flourish, they cannot be lorded over by global communism pushed by the you-know-whos.
Ian MalcolmThere's no good film in which that is the case. And the film which is, say for example like The Matrix, well the film is about people banding together in opposition to it. That is why we are going to win. All of the good films forever have been about mankind overcoming even the most dire of scenarios. So we're in one. Right now, wake up.
Ian MalcolmWe are in a nightmare. It's a horror film. But the good news is that all four horror films, well for the most part they all have positive. Let's say results at the end of them, right? The outcome, whatever you want to call it. The resolution. It is made righteous. And so too will this one. So I want everybody to be aware of that.
Ian MalcolmThis is not going to be Fight Club. We are not all crazy. In fact, we're the opposite of it because we're able to see through the Orwellian lies that is the matrix that we live in. So we will keep trying to play off of as many puns as we can. No, not like Memento.
Ian MalcolmThe Terminator Wow, I wonder how many of these I could string together. And hopefully in doing so, we will find ourselves not in Groundhog Day where we just repeat the same insanity, right? We will not have the same spaces over and over again talking about just a singular subject. We will try to make them diverse as we can so that we understand every aspect of the subversion of our society, of our culture.
Ian Malcolmof essentially the holy grail that is the infinite knowledge, wisdom, and the pursuit of the better tomorrow. I'll keep sticking there with my fedora, my whip, and what else would be with indie? The fedora and the whip and the trusty tunes of John Williams, let's just say. But with that being said, Dr. Nietzsche, Mr. Nietzsche, dad, Allah, my favorite individual in terms of thinking through any of these things.
Ian MalcolmMorally and Ethically. I'd be curious for your thoughts on the conversation, anything that stood out to you from some of the suggestions from our wonderful panelists that we've had, and also just how the world is progressing today, my friend.
@nietzsche258918I love that we ended up talking about people's favorite movie, and I really want to encourage everyone, even that didn't contribute, go into the Purple Pill and still leave that comment about a movie that you really like. A movie that maybe changed your life or made you see things differently. Don't rule out comedies. Comedy is wonderful.
@nietzsche258918I mean, sometimes through a comedy, they're getting to say something that nobody else got to say. I heard someone mention, I forget what it was. Oh, yes. It's a Wonderful Life, and I wanted to remind them. What about Old Man Potter? Hmm. Who does that represent? The guy who is insisting that everybody has to come begging for him.
@nietzsche258918Like people bringing bowls for gruel, you know, and then all of a sudden the people in the town say, no, you're not going to have power overs anymore. So some kind of interesting metaphor there, which I won't elaborate upon, but I'm looking forward to hearing more people are seeing or reading what they put in their purple pill, what they associate with this space, even after it's over so that we can say, oh yeah, that's a good movie.
@nietzsche258918Oh, that's a good one. Especially if you've already suggested one, if you leave it there, I'd... I didn't write them all down, but I heard movies or movies mentioned that I haven't seen before. So I'm looking forward to seeing that, my friend.
Ian MalcolmWe've got The Prestige. Ooh, this is a phenomenal film. I think, if I'm not mistaken, that this is Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. Talk about an unbelievable cast, if I got that one correct. Going through, we've also got The Breakfast of Champions was supported here by Sintro. Last of the Marinbad, not sure what that one is.
Ian MalcolmBeautiful Mind with Russell Crowe, fantastic. This is what Space Odyssey 2001, It's a Wonderful Life, Babylon, which we had two or three people suggest. I might have to watch that because I don't think I ever have seen it. The Professor and the Madman with Mel Gibson and Sean Penn. Might have to give that a go because of Mel Gibson, obviously a Superman.
Ian MalcolmA Bug's Life, Lars and the Real Girl. Here is one for The Joker with Joaquin Phoenix. I almost feel like Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, that entire concept of the world becoming so mad that in it you just look around and you say, I'm just not going to play the game anymore. I almost feel like they had to make the second Joker film...
Ian Malcolmto essentially urinate on the legacy of the first one because perhaps the first Joker did too good of a job of instilling in the masses the idea that not becoming a vigilante but essentially realizing everything is so upside down you just might as well not even continue to bother pretending that it's okay. It feels like maybe Hollywood was a little bit too concerned that that tapped into something that was a little too relevant for everyone.
@nietzsche258918Just like the Matrix people got upset that we were all using the term red pill in the right way. Absolutely. Absolutely. There was sort of an anarchism to the first one in the sense of, oh gosh, all these people, they don't care about us. They don't have our interest at heart. The whole system is rigged against us. Yeah, you can't have that message.
@nietzsche258918So I definitely think that it was a rewrite.
@ceanndachGo for it. I was going to say, I don't know if you said anything about it or not, but I mentioned, did you watch Project Hail Mary? And I was just wondering what you thought of it, if you did.
Ian MalcolmNo, I have not. And I feel silly because that Ryan Gosling, I got to say, I feel like he is one of the better, if not one of the best from his generation. And I have not seen it. I heard great things about it, though.
@ceanndachI think it's probably one of the best movies in the last decade, I would say. Because I know you mentioned earlier that you hadn't seen any good movies in a long time, except for the old ones. So I would recommend it.
Ian MalcolmI'm going to have to give that one a go. And I will add that the Casa Dojo or whatever it was. I don't know if you guys remember the Barbie movie during the Barbin Hopper or whatever they called it. Ryan Gosling playing Ken in the Casa Dojo Mojo or whatever he called it it was very very very funny I gotta give him credit he's a very entertaining actor and he's done a lot of great work he was also in Blade Runner the newly released rendition which I don't think I've seen that either but I will have to check in and maybe step out of my comfort zone which is the older films of the day which is a little bit more in my wheelhouse but
Ian MalcolmI just wanted to, as far as The Matrix goes, I feel like, I don't know, someone was saying earlier, like, Red Pill, Blue Pill, that's so funny, because, like, I think that all the time. I'm a huge Matrix fan.
@kaitlinmil89I'm obsessed with The Matrix. I love that movie so much. And I do see it being misrepresented and misused. You nailed it with that. But my favorite aspect of The Matrix, of course, not only do I think it was ahead of its time, and a warning for... What we've seen, but my favorite line is what my dad used to say to me growing up.
@kaitlinmil89And it's when Neo, Keanu Reeves, is going to meet the Oracle and he's in the waiting room and that little girl is bending the spoon with her mind. And he crouches down and says, how are you doing that? And she says, you're asking the wrong questions. I cannot bend the spoon with my mind. That is impossible. Instead, don't ask how I bend the spoon.
@kaitlinmil89And he goes, what should I... What should I be asking? And she goes, there is no spoon.
@kaitlinmil89So much analogy and metaphor in that movie. You could have a whole episode about it. But there is no spoon. So much so that I actually got that tattooed on the back of my leg, actually. There is no spoon. None of this is actually real. There is so much between psyops and corruption and social engineered movements and whatever.
@kaitlinmil89There is no spoon. Be your true self. Stay the true course.
Ian MalcolmYeah, there is no spoon, and oftentimes we have to realize that the left-right dynamic, all these things, they are just illusions that are put in front of us to try and keep us fixated on something that's, let's say, counterproductive, if not a complete waste of time.
@guatemalalove22I'm so sorry. Can anybody hear me right now? We can, yeah. If not, I'll drop down.
Ian MalcolmNo, we can hear you.
Ian MalcolmPatriot, we can hear you. I don't know if you can hear us. But let's go to the conspiracy realist for their all-time greatest. What is the number one conspiracy?
@billsburgers4u2Hey, mic check real quick. Is that alright?
Ian MalcolmYep, we got you.
@billsburgers4u2Okay, appreciate the space and everything. I'm catching it kind of late because I was on my lunch break and I appreciate you giving me a mic. I didn't know you were going to shut it down, but... I have so many movies, but it sounds like you probably covered several of them. I just wanted to throw in one that maybe was missed, which was, I don't know if anyone's seen it, it's called A Scanner Darkly.
@billsburgers4u2It's an animated movie with, who's that guy, Iron Man, who plays that guy? Robert Downey Jr. Yeah, Robert Downey Jr., Keanu Reeves. Winona Ryder, Woody Harrelson, and a cameo of Alex Jones who gives a really good monologue before the police take him away. Have you ever seen it?
Ian MalcolmI have not.
@billsburgers4u2Yeah, I would recommend it. It's really interesting about some kind of new drug that's on the streets and causing problems with the people and Keanu Reeves is an undercover narc. It's an animated movie, but I'm sure the actors acted it, and then they did something to the look of the movie to make it look animated or something, but it's a scramble suit, and so their voices and their faces and their body is always changing, and you can never really...
@billsburgers4u2The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmThe Purple Pill, I just didn't want to call out. There were just so many wonderful suggestions. The Edge being one. It's a Wonderful Life is in here. Lawless with, looks like Jake Gyllenhaal. Fracture, which was mentioned earlier. Weird Science, The Warriors, The Last of the Mohicans. The Usual Suspects. Who is Kaiser?
Ian MalcolmKaiser Saucy. A Scanner Darkly. Scent of a Woman, I mean so many, SLC Punk that somebody was talking about earlier, The Devil's Advocate Dancing in Heaven had Money Python and the Holy Grail, Godfather 2, City of God, American Outlaws, Wicked Sweeney Don, Fight Club, Gattaca, Die Hard, Peggy Sue, on and on Misery, Rocky, so many wonderful movies I hope everybody scans through here, certainly gets some wonderful suggestions and recommendations
Ian MalcolmBut let's see if we can get the Patriot, if his mic is working. If so, we'd be curious for his thought on the greatest film ever. And then we'll go to Rob for a final consideration.
@guatemalalove22Hey, Ian. Thank you so much. Sorry, I wasn't hearing anything when you last brought me up, but now I am. I just want to give you some flowers. Like, you know, even though you don't call him JQ, but... What you do in these spaces is incredible. I don't even have any words. Sorry, I just got back from a party. You guys already know.
@guatemalalove22I just wanted to get your thoughts on...
@guatemalalove22What are your thoughts on people like this old Timmy G like he had a space like with your name and all that like and I hate like there's people like you meet in spaces that you don't really know but you just despise everything they say right you hate them like with a passion and for me that's Timmy G he's like you know what I mean so yeah like
@guatemalalove22Ian, what are your thoughts?
Ian MalcolmSo, I always stay away from the e-drama unless people bring it to the doorstep, and I try to always answer questions directly, so I'll answer this one in a couple ways. First and foremost, never argue with an idiot. They will drag you into the mud where they are very comfortable, and it will just get everything messy. I think that that person is an idiot, and I say it for a couple reasons.
Ian MalcolmNumber one, is the fact that they have essentially spent the last two years going around and doing nothing except attacking essentially Truth Teller and myself. Those are the two people that literally sits in spaces with my handle in the title to talk about me for hours on end with a whopping 100 or so people that in total will come through the space, right?
Ian MalcolmI mean, he will go on for four hours and a total of 150 people will listen to anything that is said. I find that to be kind of silly. And the reason I say it is because if his intent is to focus on trying to make the world a better place, it's kind of a weird way to go about it because it doesn't seem like any of the things that he ever does are critiquing or attacking any of the positions that I share, right?
Ian MalcolmHe's not going after the... Let's say the data that I've presented around the ownership of all of the media, of all of technology, of all of the AI companies, of most of big finance and of the political apparatus that within, let's say, two years promised the Epstein files, which then claimed they were a democratic hoax and shrugged off the idea of it.
Ian MalcolmThey were only released because of Thomas Massey. Let's be real. But Donald Trump, along with the lack of mass deportations. The suggestion that he was going to ensure the end of the Ukraine war. The suggestion that he wouldn't get into any further conflicts. There would be no new wars. And yet it is Trump who is encouraging Zelensky to continue the war with Ukraine.
Ian MalcolmIt is Trump who has gone to war with Iran. It is Trump who funded the genocide of the Palestinians. It is Trump who is standing by Israel as they bomb Lebanon and every other surrounding country. It is Donald Trump who is protecting the Epstein class. And why? Because Donald Trump is a Jewish supremacist. He is owned by the same interests as Miriam Adelson and all the rest of them.
Ian MalcolmAnd for what it's worth, I don't think the Jewish supremacists are twisting Donald Trump's arm, which is probably what they're doing with J.D. Vance for what it's worth. And I say that because Vance is owned by Peter Thiel, obviously. Peter Thiel was in bed with Jeffrey Epstein and vis-a-vis with the Rothschilds, right?
Ian MalcolmBut Donald Trump, I don't think is just a... Let's say financed by the Jewish supremacists. I think he is a Jewish supremacist. I think his daughter married the kingpin of the modern Jewish supremacists with Jared Kushner, right? He is aligned with them, not with us. And that, along with all the other details and data points, you know, if Timmy G wants to go around and say the Bank of International Sentiments and all this other stuff, well, let's be real.
Ian MalcolmWho clearly owns the finances in the United States and in the Western world? Which group of interests are clearly pushing all of these anti-white sentiments? Is it white people? Obviously not, right? It is clearly Jewish supremacists. It is the likes of Larry Fink that not only run BlackRock, which has $16 trillion in assets under management, which is more than 50% of the US GDP.
Ian MalcolmIt's one company. BlackRock also, for what it's worth... The largest shareholder in State Street and Vanguard Those three groups alone basically control your entire economy in terms of the money that they move around They are all clearly benefiting the Jewish supremacists And for what it's worth, Larry Fink also basically got up on stage and said We will force function DEI into all companies If they do not want to change, we will force them to do so And how do they do that?
Ian MalcolmWell, by financially investing in these companies like they do in... Disney and Nike and all these other companies where they are the largest investor or shareholder, but even where they're not. BlackRock, essentially, because of the way that they've structured the company, they get the voting rights of all of the money that they control in their assets under management.
Ian MalcolmWhat does that mean? That means that your 401k, right, your life savings that you have put into, quote unquote, this investment vehicle, well, that's put into the hands of these big asset management companies. They then get to say, well, because that's our shares that we own, even though it's your money that they're using to buy those, they get to vote on your behalf.
Ian MalcolmSo they get to go into all those companies where they are buying up massive amounts of shares and they can say, you know, we don't like the direction you're going. We're going to appoint a different board of directors or a different CEO, right? Because they get to vote on the behaviors of those companies and their future.
Ian MalcolmSo even if any of these big companies want to go against Jewish supremacy, let's just say that Caterpillar or John Deere wants to not go in the direction of discriminating against the white man, these companies like BlackRock and State Street and Vanguard will force function that upon them. So why do I say all of this?
Ian MalcolmBecause all of those other things that he would like to derail to, well, they're kind of meaningless and trivial. But he won't even really have that conversation. Instead, what does he do? He hosts a space where he says that Ian Malcolm is a Gaysian, which I suppose is his claim to a homosexual Asian. I am neither of those things.
Ian MalcolmI am a white American heterosexual male. I am very direct about that. And what is his suggestion? What is his evidence to the contrary? That I literally won't dox myself above and beyond that. That I won't share my, I don't even know what it, what would it take? Is it me going on a video chat and saying, well, here I am, world.
Ian MalcolmI've actually offered that. I've offered it if Tucker Carlson will have me on his program to discuss Jewish supremacy. That is my condition. Now, I wouldn't make that as a condition if I was a gay Asian guy, because I've said that I'm a white American, which I am.
Ian MalcolmWhy? So that they can heckle and troll and go through every little piece of my life to try and find anything that they can that's embarrassing so that they can spam that under every comment that I make because they can't argue with my ideas. Now, that is a very frustrating reality, but that is what we face from the Jewish supremacists.
Ian Malcolmdiscuss these issues. Instead, it is always undercutting, undermining, which is why when Dan Bilzerian talked about Jewish supremacy, he was brought on TMZ where they called him an anti-Semite because they can't debate the ideas, right? Now, that guy will also then say, well, why doesn't he ever come into my spaces? Two things.
Ian MalcolmNumber one, I don't know that they're ever held because I muted that guy a long time ago because it's really annoying that every time I make a post, I have to read the exact same post Spams underneath my comment that, oh, by the way, I've already ratioed two or three times over because nobody cares what that guy says, right?
Ian MalcolmIt's just a troll. Now, here's the thing that is most curious, though. That guy aligns himself with who? Of all people, with folks like Mossad Mike and with Mitch and with Meallian, who I've seen Sir Eskenor dox as literally a former federal employee or agent or provocateur or whatever you want to call that person. And yet, despite the fact that literally the person that that individual is most closely aligned to is literally a Fed, that guy goes around saying that I'm a Gaysian federal agent or whatever it is, right?
Ian MalcolmThat I'm the subversive, says the guy literally aligning himself with all of the Jews on this application. It is a total joke. And so what do I think about it? I think that he's a joke. I think that the people that are around him are jokes. I think that they are all either absolute clowns, they are fools, or they are Jewish supremacists But either way, I'm completely indifferent to everything that they say Why?
Ian MalcolmBecause they've been nipping on my heels for two years I don't even know that they're there because they're literally muted And the reason that I can mute them is because literally everything that they say It is utterly irrelevant People come to these conversations in these spaces for a couple reasons. Number one, they know that I'm just direct and honest and candid.
Ian MalcolmNumber two, because they know when people come in and try to take or let's say undermine the ideas that we share that I embarrass them. And why? I don't know. I don't know if it's because I'm significantly smarter than the average bear, which probably is true, but more importantly, because the Jewish supremacists are just liars.
Ian MalcolmThey are low IQ. Liars! That is what I have shown over and over and over and over again, which is why Mossad Mike, when I made the video where he accused me of being, of advocating for violence when I said that I would kick him out of a space. I'd kick him out of a digital X space. I didn't even say that I would do it.
Ian MalcolmI said if hypothetically I did, right? And he said that that was violent. Now that is a crazy... for a number of reasons number one it's crazy to suggest that somebody removing you from a digital space on x is violent obviously you know what's even crazier to come into a live recorded conversation and to not just admit that that's a crazy thing to say to think that you can just lie and bamboozle people and that they won't remember something that happened five seconds ago
Ian Malcolmand to do it on a recorded line. What kind of intellect do you have to be devoid of to do something like that? It would be like walking into a department store right in front of the security camera and then mugging somebody being like, no, I didn't do that. What are you talking about? Like you have to be so foolish, so dumb.
Ian MalcolmI can't even comprehend that degree of a lack of shame. And I can't comprehend that the same thing comes from... Michael Jordan is walking out to play in the NBA with the Bulls
Ian MalcolmHe's got some little snot-nosed kid that's sitting there in the stands.
Speaker 6Oh, you suck.
Ian MalcolmCompletely indifferent, right? Us, we are champions. I really believe that. The things that we are doing are changing the world. If we weren't, then we wouldn't have all these spam posts. I wouldn't have all these bots that are constantly just mass reporting everything that I do. We wouldn't have X constantly undermining and suppressing my reach to the point that I get less views than people that have 5% the audience that I have.
Ian MalcolmThey are desperate to undermine what we are doing, which is so comical. They've got a trillion dollar propaganda machine. They own every piece of the media. They own all the social media networks, all the search engines, all the AI, and they are literally losing to us. Think about that for a moment. I had somebody that sent me a message.
Ian MalcolmThey saw some of my stuff that was on TikTok that somebody had, I guess, screenshot or copy and post. It had like 13 million impressions. I was like, oh my God. Literally, think about this for a moment. My content is probably seen organically more on other platforms from people resharing it than it is when I share it myself on this handle.
Ian MalcolmBecause I'm suppressed into nothing, but it doesn't matter. David Nietzsche
Ian MalcolmThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian Malcolmfor President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmAnd they think that because their dad owns the basketball arena that they're going to win. They're not going to. We're going to keep slam dunking on all of these idiots, which is why they keep biting at my ankles, which is why they keep going at TruthTeller, who shares unbelievable information. And this idea that somehow they, if you think about it, their belief structure is if they just mock TruthTeller and this claim that he was doxxed and all this other stuff.
Ian MalcolmAnd look, I mean, I've heard the audio. It sounds like him. It could be. He says that it's not. But what difference at the end of the day does it really make if he's speaking about the problem? You would think that anybody that was remotely honest, that they wouldn't really care. Like somebody could come in here, they could be an ex-convict because they did all kinds of things.
Ian MalcolmObviously those are terrible things, but they could be black, they could be Indian, they could be Asian, they could be Gaysian, right? If they're helping us to undermine Jewish supremacy and to remove the stranglehold that it has that is ruining our civilizations,
Ian MalcolmThis was a funny little Tuesday. I heard this. Somebody sent me this audio clip. I couldn't believe it. I need to actually find it. Maybe I should post it, but I don't like bringing any attention to that absolute midway. Timmy G in a room, I think it was with Wolf.
Speaker 6He goes, yeah, you know what? We got to watch out for the Fed slop. The Fed slop's everywhere. There's all this Fed slop. McDilligent Denison with his Fed slop. But you know what I'm going to do? What we need to start doing is working with the intelligence agencies. And if we see posts... Timmy G
Ian MalcolmIf you're listening, which you probably will, because again, even with our impromptu space, we just dwarf the audiences that you're able to construct you midway. If you're listening, go get me on Tucker Carlson. And you know what I'll do, Timmy G? I'll meet you there for the interview to look you right in the eyes and say, how stupid do you feel?
Ian MalcolmBecause I'm not any of these things that you suggest. And if I were, I wouldn't be willing to make those suggestions to the likes of Tucker. And so he can sit there in his little stupid spaces with his five friends that are Three of which are Jews and two work for Jews, right? They can sit there in their irrelevant spaces.
Ian MalcolmI'll continue doing what I'm trying to do. And if we have our way, and if I can get Tucker Carlson for what it's worth, again, this is gonna suck. I just wanna be very candid, right? The idea of going out and doxing yourself in this environment with the amount of content that I have about Jewish supremacy, they will do everything to destroy my world.
Ian MalcolmBut like I said before, in trying to do that, they will only demonstrate the problem. and so I'm willing to sit there and say you know what I'll figure out what the economic consequences will be I'll deal with the heckling and all the other nonsense that'll come my way I'm not completely convinced that they wouldn't try to literally end my life right because what we're doing has been very effective I'm willing to go out and do that though not the death part I don't want that I don't know interest in that but I will dox myself if possible
Ian Malcolmand if Tucker will allow the conversation because I sincerely think we are nearing a point where this is going to be make or break. Either everybody rolls over and they criminalize speech and they start literally rounding people up like, oh, by the way, the Jews are doing in Ukraine where they're rounding up men and women to send them to the front lines.
Ian MalcolmThat is coming to America if we do not put an end...
Ian MalcolmThat is one path, fellas. The other is that we get to a point, and I do think, right? If Tucker Carlson allowed me to come on his program, you would have millions and millions and millions of people that would have to listen to me suggesting that the world is a matrix. It is run by the architect, which are the Jews.
Ian MalcolmAnd then they will do everything they can to destroy and make my life very, very difficult. That's so be it, right? That's one side. The other, they will then have to censor and suppress the conversation. They won't allow it to be on YouTube or any of those other platforms. But what will come as a result of that? It will fly around on X if Elon allows it to.
Ian MalcolmAnd if he doesn't, doesn't it further demonstrate the problem? But probably Elon would. And so what will then happen? YouTube would take it down. Every other platform would take it down.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmI don't know. I don't know these things, right? There's lots that I don't know. And that's why I hold these spaces because I'm very curious about the world. And I love exploring it with all of you. And back to that idea of the hero's journey, somewhere along the way, there was some kind of interest or demand in what we're doing.
Ian MalcolmAnd again, it's not because of me. I don't speak more than probably 10% of all the spaces that I hold. I don't like to do big, long monologues. I always apologize when I do because I hope I don't bore you guys. All of the things that I'm trying to do on here, it's a team effort. This is all part of some kind of higher power and greater good.
Ian MalcolmAnd all I know is that of all the things that I've done throughout my life, professionally, personally, when things call to you, you should run to them, not from them. We're never ever going to be ready for whatever challenges are thrown in front of us. But if we're destined to do something, you better get off your tail and do it.
Ian MalcolmFor whatever reason, the things that we've been doing here, they have been successful in spite of all the censorship and all the suppression and all of the other headaches. And so I'm going to continue doing them as honestly and forthcomingly as I can. And the little clowns like Timmy G will say, well, I haven't seen him dox himself, so therefore it must be a gay Asian guy.
Ian MalcolmIt's unbelievable. It really is. If anybody thinks I sound Korean or any of these other things, please... Explain in the purple pill where that would come from, right? I'm happy. I welcome all of it. And like I said, I'm trying to make that happen. I think we can change the world if we can make that interview take place.
Ian MalcolmAnd it's not because I'm the smartest person in the room. It's because I'd be willing to talk about the most obvious of truths that's been hidden from everybody because the system that owns everything lies to everyone. And we're merely willing to call So I apologize for the long rant as I always do whenever I talk this long.
Ian MalcolmBut let's go to Rob for a favorite movie and Les Patriot if you want to add anything else to that. I apologize again for the rant.
@guatemalalove22That was absolutely amazing. You're great at what you do. You bring the best, the most influential figures like, you know, on this platform like Irving Books. Also Marcel, you know. TRS, like all those guys. And I'm hoping you can bring Whitney Webb, you know, like she's very influential in the Epstein files. And those Epstein files, like I feel like they really are the Pandora's box.
@guatemalalove22I'm sure you guys know that too. But after the Charlie Kirk assassination, it just seems like... They're not getting enough attention as they should be. You're amazing. Please keep doing these spaces. You have a knack for what you do.
@guatemalalove22Especially everybody you bring together. A lot of people wouldn't know, but you're amazing. Not to say, but yeah, thanks. Thanks for bringing it up.
Ian MalcolmNo, of course. And the positive words and affirmations are always very appreciated in a world where 90% of the content that I used to get were responses where, you're an anti-Semitic racist. And I'd sit there and be like, I'm pretty sure I'm not any of those things. I'm just a guy calling out the world the way that I see it.
Ian MalcolmThey are always appreciated when they're the opposite direction. And look, we'll continue doing what we are doing, trying to make the world a better place for everybody that's out there. And David made this comment earlier about the importance of scores. And one of the things that's strange is that, and Rob, I'll throw this one as a question to you.
Ian MalcolmWhen I hear certain scores, it kind of... I don't want to say misty-eyed, but I feel them in a very different sense than I do most music. And I'm convinced that the reason is because the scores that I'm listening to are usually from films. So say, for example, Now We Are Free, which is the theme within Gladiator, right?
Ian MalcolmThat character, Maximus, right, lays everything on the line for everybody else, if you think about it. He leaves his family so he can go fight and be the... for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmIn a way, that's what all of us should aspire to, is to try and figure out how we can do our part to make the world a better place. Because we're all going to be, like David was saying, there's that dash in between the born and died. Let's do something worthwhile while we're living. And I really do think that of all the things that we could do, what are you going to go?
Ian MalcolmYou're going to go do your nine to five so you can buy a slightly nicer car? Are we going to bite our tongue and not talk about these issues amongst... The Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar,
Ian MalcolmTo be able to live a legacy that was worth remembering, right? And so it is with all these great films, it's one of the biggest pieces of all of it is that you watch these unbelievable characters who always go above and beyond for the others, right? For everybody else. And it just calls to me and I feel destined to try and do whatever I can, even if it's this, just speaking on these spaces.
Ian MalcolmThank you so much for joining us.
Ian MalcolmAnd very few people can suggest things like that. And I think it's just because we live in such a backwards upside down world where everybody's just focused on me rather than the community that they're a part of. So we're trying to build that on these spaces to create a movement that is sincere and to ultimately try to make the world a better, more righteous place for everybody in the process.
Ian MalcolmRob, I'm curious for your thoughts. I know I've meandered a whole bunch, but hopefully you've got some thoughts for us and maybe a movie or two.
@rob_zpeOf course. I love hearing you talk about these issues, just as well as David and Rayed and all these other people here. I see so many great people, Balrog and Dangerous and Money and Mads. There's this huge movement here. But I think something which you do... which is similar to the movies that we love which is unique I think in the world is that when you speak you you can attach emotion to these topics and that's what motivates human beings like we are primarily emotional beings like that's why people feel so inept and dislocated from politics in this modern era because it's so devoid of emotion these people are clinical robots they have no empathy they have no consideration and this movement here that you are leading this movement for humanity
@rob_zpeThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
@rob_zpefor President, JoAnn Marie
@rob_zpeWe can just push through that. But then again, on the topic, I know, you know, movies are great. It's just hard these days to find one that is not a complete psyop, that is just socially engineering us in very subtle ways to become a bigger goy or, you know, more complacent. It's tough out there. It's just impossible anymore.
@rob_zpeI loved Hail Mary 2. I think it was Belteshazzar, who's a legend, mentioned it before. Great movie. Another one that people were mentioning was The Matrix. And something which is really interesting about The Matrix is the lady that wrote The Matrix actually wrote The Terminator as well. And she wrote The Matrix as a prequel to The Terminator.
@keoniriggs17124I was just pointing out that any chick that's writing shit like this, she's probably not that hot.
@rob_zpeYeah, well, she's really not that hot. I mean, she's an older lady. I don't know what that statement was and why he said it, but essentially, that was creepy. But this lady, she wrote The Terminator, Skynet goes live, you know, robots take over. And then Neo is like born into this broken world, gets awoken up, and realistically has to fight back against this kind of digital architecture that seeks to enslave people.
@rob_zpeSo it's something which I think that people would probably find interesting is like... that the terminator and the matrix are actually connected and there and the terminator is the the first movie and then the the matrix is the the movies that follow after the world has fallen to ai so it's interesting seeing that the the author talk about this um and she's gone on to some podcasts and talk shows recently um and explain this and it's also i think with the matrix is that
@rob_zpeIt kind of irks me just because, you know, originally the word matrix is from Latin and it's from the womb, but essentially matrix mechanics was invented by people like Heisenberger back in the day that described quantum physics in its first iteration. So the matrix has direct connotations towards the unified field, which quantum physics proves that this is this universal field of energy which we're all connected to.
@rob_zpeThank you for joining us.
@rob_zpeI'm just here to hang out with you, mate.
Ian MalcolmSo the Terminator comes before the Matrix, and the Terminator takes out all humanity, gets them as slaves, and then they are ready for their little Matrix cocoons. Is that what she's going at?
@rob_zpe100%. Yeah, so the Terminator and Skynet, which is the AI kind of system, has enslaved all the human beings, put them into these little tubes for energy, and is kind of extracting their bioelectric energy. Which humans have a lot of, a lot more in which the movie refers to. But yes, it's like Skynet goes live, humanity is enslaved, Neo wakes up out of this enslaved population and revolts against this eventually leading to its overthrow.
@rob_zpeAnd now quantum physics proves there are these multiple dimensions, because in the Matrix there's all these different paths that Neo can take and different reiterations, reincarnations of him. and then it comes to him who is the one of all ones to kind of change it. But I think that the movies that point towards one person being the savior is ridiculous because we are all the one.
@rob_zpeEvery single person here is the one. We can all change with our thoughts, with our shared awareness. So they always point to just one hero coming out. It's not one, it is all of us. We are all the one. So that's all I can add is that they tried to kind of like make it seem that there'll be one Messiah out there. One person is an easy target, but a collective is impossible to stop.
@rob_zpeYou know, we share all the responsibility here on what is the biggest undertaking humanity can ever take. This is a battle for our soul. And there will always be detractors. So it's like, you know, they always say, there's just one person out there. We've got to give our hopes to him. Like, no, everyone here is powerful.
@rob_zpeWe all share that ability to co-create reality and manifest a future where I'm sure you love the interviews of this writer and it's interesting the way that she describes why Terminator and The Matrix were written together.
@rob_zpeThe mainstream media will never talk about it. I've never heard anyone talk about it. And you can Google this and they'll say, no, it's not true. But the lady who literally wrote them does interviews and podcasts and she explains it well. But yeah, I mean, the later Matrix movies just fell off. They just had to turn it into goy slop.
@rob_zpeYou know what I mean? Matrix 2 was okay. Matrix 3 was alright. Then the fourth one, it was just like, they do this. They take these imaginative, formative...
Ian Malcolmand uh and making sure to bring him up and and it's uh it's always incredible to get to ask him questions about health and wellness that could be diet nutrition can be about what you're doing on the exercise side for your mind your body your soul um he's fantastic with it really quick i want to say hi to mav i'm not sure if he's still with us but uh if so curious for his uh his movie of choice and then we'll go to either david or raed for a closing remark and prayer
Ian MalcolmI guess if Mav's not with us, yeah, so either Rayed or David, if either of you guys feel inclined to give some kind of parting remarks on either the topic or just the world at large, and maybe some words of affirmation in the case of David or Rayed, a prayer, either way.
@nietzsche258918Are we losing you?
Ian MalcolmYeah, I think it was cutting out there, Rod.
Ian MalcolmAll right, well, let's go to David then.
@nietzsche258918He was listening to The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel. No, I love the space. I would like to have, I would like other kinds of spaces like this. Yes, we could do things on art or books. Certainly one maybe on the future, let's call it second wave masculinism. Since there was such a thing as second wave feminism on the future of dating and maybe the path to a young man's, you know, success in that regard.
@nietzsche258918But no, I love the space and looking forward to the next one, my friend.
Ian MalcolmNo, so, so humbled. Anytime. The good doctor, the incomparable, the often fondly thought of as dad, a.k.a. Dr. Nietzsche. He is one of, if not the greatest minds on this entire application. Between folks like him, Truth Teller, certainly so many of our other friends, JoAnn, Raed, I could just go on and on and on. But with folks like this, with friends like this, right, I believe that we are going to be able to essentially change the world.
Ian MalcolmWe're going to continue bringing some of these uncomfortable truths where needed, health advice from the likes of Mr. Rob and past and present. via all the wonderful panelists that we have. I want to give Belteshazzar a big shout out. Lots of love to him. I have absolutely enjoyed having him in the last couple spaces that we've done.
Ian MalcolmHe's just absolutely a wonderful contributor, as are all of you everywhere, right? And I say that it doesn't matter if you... Oh, Rod, you want to jump in? Oh, boy.
@rob_zpeThe Matrix got him.
Ian MalcolmPlenty of differences, but the commonality behind the things that are plaguing our civilization, our society, it aligns to a very obvious set of interests and that ultimately in rejecting that, that we're going to be able to bring about the better tomorrow for everybody, right? And so it's curious because a lot of people would say that this is hateful, or at least that's what these supremacists want to label it as because they don't like us discussing these truths, right?
Ian MalcolmBut when the truth is hateful and the truth tellers are considered the terrorists, And intellectually, anyway. And simultaneously, the Patriots are the people that are bombing the children and running a pedophile ring on Epstein Island. Well, then maybe we're the good guys, folks. And I think it's very obvious that we are.
Ian MalcolmIt's also very obvious that the things that we've been pointing to, as uncomfortable as they might be, are correct, that they are truthful. And we are slowly shaping the, let's say, the talk track or the narrative around geopolitics. And I say that comfortably because just, again, two, three, four years ago, the things that we talk about in these spaces were nowhere on the radar.
Ian MalcolmNobody talked about Jewish supremacy. Very few people talked about Israel. Virtually nobody talked about things like genetics, the way that they play into societies, uncomfortable realities around IQ, around the idea of mass migration, what it would do to a culture, a people, what it would do to your ability to earn an income.

Ian MalcolmThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar,
Ian MalcolmTo try and make the world better. To try and speak truthfully about these issues and topics. I will continue to do so as honestly, openly, and candidly as I can. If this group of people didn't have the power that they do, then I would have doxxed myself a long time ago. Because after all, there's no problems if you suggest that Bigfoot or aliens run the White House.
Ian MalcolmYou're totally fine. The moment you point to Jewish supremacy, you've got a whole bunch of people running spaces for hours on end. Every single day.
Ian MalcolmThe Sage, Prophet Daniel Belteshazzar, Patriot, NOLA GOY J3R, Frank, Dan Bilzerian for President, JoAnn Marie
Ian MalcolmWhat do you think they can do to all of us? And the fact that they were willing to do it publicly to such a big figure like Kanye West, if they would do it to him indifferent of the reaction, then again, what would they do to us? And so that's why I am anonymous, because I know that they would absolutely do everything in their power to make my life a living hell, which it already is, frankly, because we live in Jewish supremacy.
Ian MalcolmAnd so you look around and everything's demonic. Everything is evil. Everything is demoralizing. But we are going to build a better tomorrow for everybody. And that's why anybody that hears what we're saying runs to our cause. Because after all, most sane, loving, normal, well-adjusted people, they want the world to be better for others.
Ian MalcolmThat's how we are wired as a species. There are some that aren't. And there's certainly some groups that seem completely hell-bent on destroying everybody else. But for the most part, those people that have a reasonably high IQ, that come from reasonably loving communities, right? And that have a heritage perhaps of high trust societies, they are wired genetically to want that.
Ian MalcolmAnd so that's all we're asking people to do, to tap into the most obvious of interests, which include making the world better for your family, your community, and yourself. We will continue having these conversations as best we can each and every day where applicable. We will continue, of course, to try and bring you guys interesting conversations that further explore these issues and in do so, enlighten everybody to the realities of the past and the present of Jewish supremacy.
Ian MalcolmIn terms of this week, just some spaces to call out really quickly. I'm very excited. We are going to be speaking with Bobby Fischer tomorrow, not the chess player, but instead, much like Bobby Fischer, a Jewish individual who speaks out against Jewish supremacy. We then have a conversation on Resilience is Resistance

Ian MalcolmSince the creation of that demonic nation state. So we've got all of those. And isn't it weird that I was just talking about censorship and suppression and two of the four conversations that we have scheduled are with individuals that's handles were nuked since we set up that conversation probably a week or two or five ago, whenever it was via JoAnn.
Ian MalcolmWhat does that say about what we're talking about? That we're over the target. We'll continue trying as best we can to be very careful with our language, very precise with our accusations, that we are always living within that which is certifiably, documentably accurate. That is how we approach this. We don't hate on anybody.
Ian MalcolmWe don't advocate for any kind of violence, kinetic anything, merely just honest discourse. Because at the end of the day, that's the thing they fear the most. And you know why I know that? Because they're actively paying people to try and just smear my image or persona because, again, they can't debate the topics that we discuss.
Ian MalcolmSo we'll keep doing this as best we can. Lots of love to absolutely everybody out there, to the amazing Professor Nietzsche, to JoAnn, who was up here, the co-hostess with the mostest. If you are still interested, I think Mr. Truthteller is going to be opening up his public space. Would highly recommend listening to that if you can.
Ian MalcolmIf not, we will see you guys tomorrow in that next little space with Bobby Fischer again. God bless. Godspeed.
